This is a creative writing story I wrote for English class in my senior year, the words in bold is the part my teacher wrote to start the story off, the word not in bold is what I wrote.
Have you ever had a dream so real and vivid that when you wake up you still question whether or not it really happened? Well, the other night I had the strangest and creepiest dream all twisted into one. I have had many eerie and bizarre dreams in the past, however, this time it was very different.
When I woke the next morning I was startled to find on Oreo cookie in my hand and the words 'I see you' written in red lipstick on my mirror. If that is not disturbing enough, when I went to get ready for school I found that I was in a different set of pajamas... A set I had never seen before!
In the dream I was walking to school and I felt like someone or something was following me, but when I turned around there was no one there. Then all of a sudden it started to get foggy and I could barely see my hand in front of me and I felt someone or something brush against my arm.
Suddenly the fog lifted and I was at school, I felt something cold in my hand and when I opened my hand to see what it was in the palm of my hand was a beautiful silver ring with dark blue sapphires embedded in it. I just stared at it for a few seconds before trying it on my right ring finger and it was a perfect fit.
I was brought out of my awe by a car honking its horn at me and I looked up to realize I was standing in the middle of the street, I quickly walked to the side walk and yelled 'Sorry' to the driver before continuing on my way. I walked inside the school and to my locker to get my books out, but when I opened it a large teddy bear popped out of it.
"Ack!" My friend Mia said as the bear flew into her face, she grabbed it before it could fall to the floor and I noticed there was a note attached to the ribbon around its neck so I opened it.
"Here's a large teddy for the one I love." I read out loud from the note, I was somewhat flattered, but at the same time a bit freaked out.
After school me and Mia went to the mall and we bought some new clothes, red lipstick and a 'My Chemical Romance' CD, we were about to leave when a security guard came up to us.
"Excuse me, but a boy asked me to give you this and said he hoped you liked the ring and teddy bear he gave you earlier as well." He said handing me a stuffed monkey and leaving before I could say anything.
Mia looked at me with a raised brow and I just shrugged not knowing what to say. After I got home I started doing my homework, after a while I got a bit hungry and decided to get a snack; Oreo cookies, peanut butter and juice.
Once I was finished with my homework I decided to watch TV, I must have fallen asleep because I awoke in my bedroom, when I went to the kitchen for breakfast my mother told me that she had changed me into a new set of pajamas she had bought for me.
After breakfast Mia called to tell me that she had seen a boy about our age climb through my window and write something on my mirror before leaving again and she said he kind of looked like Adam from the TV show Mighty Morphin Power Rangers which led me to tell her she was probably imagining that detail. I mean it can't be true, can it?
