The road leading threw this remote stretch of woods could hardly be considered gravel or even dirt. It was more of a glorified path on which some form of four wheeled vehicle may have traveled down once or twice in years long since forgotten. Overgrown weeds brushed along the doors of the baby food beige 73 delta 88 Oldsmobile while mangled branches scraped along the roof and windows.
Overgrown weeds and trees gave way to a sparse unkempt patch of dead grass. Here the car settled and the five friends disembarked. Nestled upon the little noel was a small cabin. The roof was shingled with rusty galvanized tin. The walls made up of random wooden planks as well as the door. The only accessory to the outside of the house that looked as if anyone had put any time into it was the wooden porch swing which eerily rocked against the side of the cabin. There seemed to be no wind blowing however.
The trees scrounging the yard and cabin where menacing in appearance. Looming over the scene with malicious intent. No birds chirped, no wind blew. The forest was strangely still and the sun was beginning to set.
Olivia leaned back against the vehicle and took a deep breath, "I hate nature." She suddenly slapped her arm. When she took it away, there was a smashed, bloodied mosquito on her arm, "Damnit!"
"And nature hates you."
Max said as she opened the trunk of her car. She pulled out a pink sleeping bag and tossed it none too gently in Olivia's direction.
When the sleeping bag hit her chest,
Olivia let out a muffled, "Oof!" With the sleeping bag in her arm, she turned and whipped the bug guts on her car door. She hid this act carefully as she walked over to the back of the trunk. She leaned in and grabbed her trunk. It had brightly colored flowers and butterflies on it.
Charles took a deep breath, "There better be electricity in there." He leaned back intot he car and pulled out two large brown paper bags that clanged together as he moved them.
"I would like nature if not for ze bugs,"
Chilla said, her Russian accent accentuized by her discomfort. "In Soviet Russia, ze bugs just drink your vodka and complain about ze economy." She packed light, just a backpack, although it held basically everything she needed.
Charles laughed and set the brown bags down on the top of the car. He went around tot he trunk and took out his duffle bag, which also clanked rather loudly. He had packed all his clothes and what nots in there, but there was room for plenty more, so he filled the empty space with various vodkas. On the way here however, he made them stop and he picked up even more.
"Charles?"
Max asked taking out her messenger bag and duffel "What the hell did you pack?"
"Changes of clothes, toothbrush and paste, hairbrush and hairspray, my shampoo and bodywash, towels, my slippers, and some bedding."
Charles said, replaying the list he had written out the night before they left. "Why do you ask?"
"Doesn't sound like that's all."
Olivia spoke for Max.
Max heaved the cooler out of the trunk. "Oh god!" It landed on teh ground with a loud thud. She opened it to reveal not only teh food they'd packed but several bottels of vodka "Charles!"
"
Daaaa,"
Chilla grinned. "Good man." She licked her top teeth. This was going to be more fun than she'd thought. She laughed and turned to walk into the cabin.
"Damnit man, we're not moving in. Just stayng the weekend." She pulled up the spare tier and brought forth her ounce of weed and a carefuly wrapped glass bong.
"Whoohoo!"
Olivia shouted, hitting her hip on Charles's, bumping him a bit. "Way to go C!"
Charles cursed when Olivia bumped him, she caused him to drop his dufflebag. He quickly knelt down and ripped opent he zipper. "Please oh please oh please oh please....." He gently pushed aside his clothing to reveal that the 12 bottles he stashed fromt he fridge were unbroken. "Careful Liv!!! You almost made me break them...."
"Oh..."
Olivia muttered. One could tell from her tone that she felt bad. "Sorry sorry sorry..." she repeated, hugging him tightly.
Chrales grinned as she hugged him. He always was a sucker for beautiful women. "It's alright. They're not broken."
After a moment or two,
Olivia released him and picked up her bags again to leave
Kyle had been making sure that he was going unnoticed before he moved. When he saw the bottles spill out on the ground he knew it was his best chance. He darted out of the car and grabbed his sleeping bag, making his way calmly past the others to try and get no suspicious looks.
"Kyle?"
Max asked noticing him being suspicious... "What are you doing?"
Kylefroze. He also clinked "Uhhhhh... nothing. Just want to get in quickly. You know, horrible out doors and that." That meant something was definatley up, he loved the outdoors and the possible head traumas it could bring.
"Not so fast skater boy."
Max said "Your hiding something. Charles brought an unhealthy ammount of boos and I brought enough weed to cause a platoon to raid Italy for the pizza... what's up? can't be all that bad."
Kyle grinned gently "Heh... it's kinda embarresing...
" he said, hugging his case close.
Olivia came over and grabbed the other end of his bag, "Oh come on! Let us see!"
Kyle sighed, he wasn't getting out of this. He opened the bag slowly, several bottle fell out of the top but that was nothing to the things underneath. There were a couple of large metal crosses and a bottle which was obviously holy water.
Olivia looked down at what had spilt out, and then to Charles and Max's bags. She turned back around to Kyle, "Heh...well this is sort of contradicting."
Kyle flushed gently and picked up some of the bottles that had spilled out "Well these are alcohol so I wasn't far off target..."
"Paranoid, anyone?" Chilla teased. "I didn't know you were a faithful Catholic, Kyle."
"What?" Kyle said, looking round "Oh, nope. Im not anything. I just want to be able to stick a cross up anything that flies at me." He heaved the sleeping bag up "Comeon, I've got some very strong stuff to drink."
"Don't you read anything, Kyle?" Chilla smirked. "That stuff doesn't work without the church and the faith behind it. Don't worry, I was raised Pentacostal," she smiled reassuringly at him and walked up to the house. "And hell, even if there was somehow a ghost in this house, we'll be too fucked up to notice."
"Fine, I'll just set it on fire and throw it over a zombie" Kyle grumbled "I didn't take any chances... when it said holy spirit I took it litteraly."
"Set a ghost on fire?" Olivia asked, "Alrighty then..." she said, walking into the rickety old cabin.
"I wonder what happens if you drink holy water" Kyle said, eyeing the place in his bag where he knew the bottle of holy water was sitting "Saint Kyle the kicker of butt?"
"It just tingels going down." Max said hefting one side of the cooler to drag it towards the cabin. she noticed everyone was looking at her "Well it does."
"Pfft..." Olivia walked up from behind on Kyle. After dropping her things, she pressed herself onto his back, slipping her arms around him and to his front. Her hands grabbed onto his pecks. "What...no breasts? Well perhaps you should start acting like a man." she said teasingly. However it was almost in a seductive tone.
"Jeez, Liv, try to keep a tighter leash on that libido," Chilla remarked, passing by them into the cabin. "At least until we're appropriately inhebriated." She glanced around at the interior. "Jeez, Max, where did you find this place?"
Olivia giggled a bit and licked Kyle's neck, "Your just jealous...." she released him and picked her items back up.
Charles hoisted his bags carefully andw alked inside. He walked right over tot he fridge and started stocking it full of the vodka bottles. "At least it's got a big fridge."
"It belongs to a professor at school." Max said dragging the cooler inside "Professor Nobey. He liked me. I was one of the only students who didn;t think he was wierd." She heaved the cooler into teh house and into teh kitchen area.
"He must have been some piece of work." Charles remarked with a grin towards her. "You seem to only like the eccentric people."
"I wonder how many hookers are buried out back?" Chilla mused, glancing at the worn woodwork with a skeptical eye.
"Hopefully they're all well rested. I was kinda lookin forward to a normal weekend." Charles said with a grin
Kyle smiled and leant against Olvia slightly when she wrapped her arms around him, starting to unpack when she let him go. Act like a man... yeah you know how much of a man I am dont you... smirking gently he pulled the bottles and items. He put the alcohol on the table and when that was full on the floor. He picked one cross up and felt it in his hand. No matter what the others thought he was still the jock and a man of action, he wasn't leaving ALL his faith in these stupid things.
"Yea." Olivia agreed, glancing over to Charles and back, "Heaven forbid I keep my clothes on for more then 24 hours." She had the kitchen items packed away. Olivia put milk and a jug of juice into the fridge. She opened the cupboard to put some cereal away. She jumped and backed away at what she saw. There was a large black spider hanging inside of it. "Eeek!"
Kyle was off. As soon as Olivia hjad screamed he'd ducked low and dashed to the kitchen, still carrying the cross. He'd knocked her sideways out the way and driven the cross he was holding right threw the spider since that was the only thing in there. Seeing what he'd done after a few seconds of slight panting he flushed, pulling the cross out. There was an inch long blade coming out of the top with the spider looking very dead and confused on top "Dont scream like that at nothing" he mumbled, clearly ticked off.
Olivia got up, "What the hell man?!" She moved right up in his face with an angered expression, "Why are you so fucking paranoid? The spider freaked me out is all." She grabbed the cross out of his hands firmly and walked to the door.
"Hey, we got attacked by ghosts, flying broken glass and I saw a skinned girl frozen to the back of the freezer" Kyle said defensively, throwing his arm up in the air "Im a bit jumpy, who can blame me?"
"Me." Olivia said blankly. She opened the door outside and took one step out before throwing the cross as far as she could. She didn't even bother to watch it disappear in the forest. Olivia came back and and slammed the door behind her. "You don't just push me like that."
"I thought I was saving you from some great big squigly thing that'll eat your face, I didn't think to ask nicely." Kyle muttered. He had other crosses...
Olivia raised a brow at this comment, "I like tentacle rape."
"You would," Chilla smirked, "But think of the rest of us! Can you imagine if a penis squid got its tentacles on Kyle?" She walked up behind Kyle and pulled down his mouth with two fingers, pouting mightily herself.
Olivia chuckled and crossed her arms, with a shrug she said, "I'd watch..."
Max ignored everyone in the kitchen nd sat on her knees in the living area trying to light the fire. The small bundel of wood she'd bought at the last gasstation wasn't going to go far. Finaly by the time tentacle rape had been mentioned she'd gotten it going. "Hey Chuck," She said rising and dusting off her knees "We're gonna need mroe fire wood, wanna give me a hand?"
Charles smiled softly and tossed his bag of clothes ont he couch. "Sure thing, max."
"Guys, there are only three bedrooms by the way." Max said "Since I got us this cabin I expect one to be left when we get back. Come on Charles."
Charles smiled and nodded. "Yes Ma'am!" He shouted in militaristic fashion and followed her to the door.
Max closed the door behind them as they left.
Kyle took Chilla's hand away, frowning at her "NO tentacle rape for you two" he said firmly. He went over and picked up his bag again "Who's sharing bedrooms?"
Olivia smirked, what a wonderful opportunity, "Well it really all depends on if you want a threesome or not." She joked about sex often, but there was a slight tone in her voice that would make one unsure if she was serious or not. "Or if just one of us two shared a room..." she looked at him with big, watery eyes, "..you wouldn't rape us, would you?"
"You cant rape the willing" Kyle said, his head stuck in his sleeping back so he looked like he was searching for something. The truth was that he was blushing madly. When he managed to get himself under control he pulled his skate board out from his bag "Ha!"
"Umm...you realize that we are in the woods." Olivia began, "No pavement for a few miles....."
"Please, I grew up scating on farm lands and hay bailes. I could go up onto the roof, start grinding on the tree branches and not hit the floor till the road" Kyle said, smiling widely.
Olivia shrugged and started putting the other food things away. Part of her thought that he was showing off a bit much just now. After she finished, she headed over by the bed rooms. After glancing in at each one, she chose the one that was on the left of the hallway. She threw her things on the bed and walked over to the window. It was already dusk.
"Yeah, but what if we brought a squirrel into this?" Chilla mused, mulling over the rape thing. "HE would be unwilling, but it'd still be rape..."
"How do you rape a squirrel?" Kyle mused, looking threw the bedroom door at Olivia "Seriously, that would be wierd to watch."
"To watch?" Chilla exclaimed incredulously. "Think of how weird it would FEEL!"
"I dont want to feel, raping a squirrel would be too wierd." Kyle grimaced "Why did you suddenly thing of raping a squirrel?" He pointed at Chilla acusingly "Furry!"
Chilla gasped and laid a hand on her heart. "Moi! Mais, mais NON!" she exclaimed. "TU es l'amour d'animale!"
Olivia walked back into the room just in time to hear something about squirrel rape. She looked at Kyle oddly, "I didn't think you were into that sort of thing. But...umm...where is a squirrel's vagina?"
Max was standing with the door open and CHarles behind her. "What the fuck are you people talking about?" She carried the wood inside and deposited it by the fireplace "Is this what you freaks talk about while we're not around?"
"Chilla has recently shown that she has an urge to rape small woodland rodents" Kyle said unemotionally. He grabbed a bottle of the stuff from his bag and broke the seal on the top. A stench of powerful alcohol filled the room immediately, what ever it was it was strong. He brought it to his mouth and gulped a huge mouthful.
"Daaamn boy..." Olivia she said with the tone of a black woman. She walked over and took a whiff of the alcohol. Her head instantly flung back and she coughed a bit, "Jeez...You're supposed to mix it with something! How is your throat doing?
Kyle coughed and thumped his chest "Mix it? Seriously?" He put the bottle down "My throats fine, though It wont be by the time Im finished." He nodded to the bottle "You want a drink?"
"What is it exactly?" Olivia asked, picking up the bottle and reading it over. Before he could answer, she said, "Holy shit! This shit is strong..."
Kyle wrinkled his nose "My uncle brews it, one of the only things he's good for. I think it's meths with a bit of whisky in it really. I happen to know that if you drink a whole bottle you go blind for a day." He looked at the other six bottles of the stuff on the table "I've never drunk two... or atleast I cant remember."
"Maybe later...I'm actually thirsty and it's too soon to do shots." Olivia explained, walking into the kitchen and started digging into her bag that she had brought with the food in it. She pulled out a blender and set it on the counter, "Did someone bring ice?"
Kyle dug into his bag and pulled out a half melted load of ice. He stuck his head threw the door and tossed the bag onto the desk top with practised ease.
"There are two more bags of ice in teh cooler." Max said entering the kitchen to put her food away "And I brought a few ice trays. Nobey said this placwe has running water so I figured if we ran out we could make some more." She went to the sink and turned on the tap. The house rumbeled loudly before the fawcet coughed. What issued forth after that was a rust colored muddy sludge. "Ummm..." The fawcet began runnig a mixture of sludge that was teh same color as blood. Max was just about to turn it off when the water began to run clear. "Fhew... I guess this place has sat here a while."
"What are you talking about?" Chilla said in her heavy Russian accent. "Eet ees never too soon for liquor." She grabbed it from Kyle and took a short swig. Her face scrunched up in distaste, but she swallowed it with a satisfied sigh. "Shit, that's strong. What did you say was in it? Engine coolant?"
"I have something you'll like." Max said turning off teh tap "Kyle isn't the only one with a relitave who knows there way around a stil." She unzipped her bag and pulled out a wooden box. Opening the box a few feathers tumbeled out and she lifted a antique bottle from the pillow of protective feathers. "My aunt makes home made wine." She pulled the cork and let the bottle breath. She took a foam cup from teh table and slowly pored Chilla a shot's worth. "I save this for special occasions. She sends me a bottle every birth day and Christmas. It's..." she sniffed teh cork "180 proof. Illegal to brew in 19 states." She handed the cup to Chilla. "sip it slow." She advised.
"180 proof wine???" Charles asked curiously. He was about to open a bottle of his vodka and turned toward Max when she mentioned that homemade wine. "May I try some?"
"How about we just toast to the weekend?" Max suggested. She took four more cups and poured a shot into each. "Now this stuff is made for sipping not shooting. And about 4 shots will get you shitfaced so be careful." She handed everyone their cups "To the weekend?"
(ooc: my aunt actualy makes this stuff. it's fucking awesome. can't even taste the alchahol, goes down so smooth. it's like sex in a bottle.)
"Did you see what I stocked the fridge with? I think I can handle a little wine." Charles assured Max with a wink.
"Hell, it's not like we use our livers for anything anyway," Chilla agreed, grinning and taking the shot from Max. "To the weekend in the creepy cabin up in the woods, far from civilization, spent getting utterly shitfaced," she toasted. "Lacheim."(sp?)
Kyle was still holding his own bottle, he prefered the 'getting hit by a truck' veriaty to the 'it's so smooth you dont know it's there'. Atleast with the truck one you woke up with everything aching. He toatsed Chilla's toast and thought up his own "To ghost and ghoolies and getting so drunk we start seeing the walls bleeding on their own again."
"Whoohoo!" Olivia shouted from the other side of the room, at the counter. She was holding the foam cup in the air, toasting. She brought it down and took a small swig. "Oh wow...this is really good. 180 proof? Damn...you really lucked out on having a talented aunt. She set the cup down and through the remaining ice cubes that Kyle gave her into the blender. She grabbed several bottles, a flavoring mix drink liquid and a can of soda. She kept quit for a while, making her concoction.
MAx savored her drink of wine for a moment and corked the bottle. She returned it to the box and set it in teh bottom of her bag for something less unique. She pulled out her bong. "Viva la weekend!"
Charles drank the shot slowly. usually he would just go for it, but the fact that this was 180 proof and it came from Max made him a little nervous about it. As he drank it he grinned. He finished the shot and looked at her. "This is pretty good shit. Too bad you only get the one bottle per occassion."
Finally Olivia poured the rest of the shot into the blender and started it. It was loud and lanky, but it got the job done. After half a minuet or so, she stopped it. Using the cup that had the wine in it, she poured herself a glass. Without question, she drank the entire thing in one consistent swig.
Kyle shrugged and picked up the glass of wine, might as well try it. He rolled his eyes and sipped it since that's what Max said. He didn't care what it was anymore, he needed booze.
Chilla sipped the wine slowly, enjoying the taste immensely. "Holy wow," She said with a satisfied sigh, setting it down on the table. "Oh, man." She suddenly had second thoughts about spending the whole weekend just getting high and drunk, her other responsibilities suddenly caving in on her.
Max cleared a place on the table and took a pinch of weed from her bag. she deseeded it and packed the bong "Who want's the green hit?"
Olivia finished her iced drink with a little hiccup. She turned around at Max. Olivia herself had never smoked or taken any form of drugs before. She also felt unsure and somewhat curious. However, she waiting until someone else would speak.
"I'll pass," Chilla refused lightly. "I'm already an alcohol fiend as it is." She grinned.
"I usually dont drink alcohol, Im doing that now so Im not moving up to drugs right now" Kyle muttered, staring at a bottle.
"Oohh, two outright rejections for the girl with the ounce of weed!" Chilla mocked. "Tough crowd out there tonight, ladies and gentlemen."
"Fine you fuckers, more for me." Max said and took out her lighter. "Your all gonna get a contact high any way." She ignighted the bowl and took a powerful hit from the bong. She helf her breath for about ten seconds and released a billow of smoke "Oh yeeeeaah."
"Shit, you'll give the whole mountain a contact high the way you smoke," Chilla waved away the fumes. "I'm gonna go find a spot to put my shit."
Kyle coughed and waved the smoke away "Ask me when Im more drunk" he said, glaring threw the smoke.
Olivia grabbed the wine that Max and poured the group earlier. She dripped a shot size of it into the cup.
"Good idea." Max said and grabbed her bag. She took it to the only empty room left. "Look like you get the couch Charles." She ignighted her bowlo again and took a hit.
"Damn, this IS really a hooker-killing house," Chilla whistled, looking at the woodwork. "Watch your back, Liv!" She joked.
Since Olivia was so thin, it didn't take much to get her tipsy. She got a little dizzy when she turned and looked at Chilla. She giggled and snorted slightly.
Max took a six pack of smirnoff from the fridge and suggested "Everyone to the living room?"
"Did anyone remember to bring food?" Chilla asked, coming back into the living room with a toothbrush and bathroom necessities in hand.
"I put it away Chilly..." Olivia said with a wink.
Kyle glared at the bottle in his hand "DAMMIT Im not drunk yet!" he yelled, putting the bottle tohis lips and taking a huge gulp. He put the bottle down on the table and fished around in his pocket, pulling out a lighter. He lit it and put it infront of his face. He belched loudly. It ignited like a firework, spewing flames for a second before fizzing out.
Olivia poured herself another shot and gulped it down. She let out a disgusted face before shrugging it off.
Chilla put away her things in the bathroom and pulled a bottle of vodka from the fridge, popping it open and chugging it back.
Olivia took another shot of the strong wine. She took a deep breath and starred at the other end of the table. Her head tilted slowly as far as it could go, "Woa..." Her body was already reacting to intoxication. She took another shot.
Chrales grumbled when it was decided he got to sleep on the shitty ass couch. "I bring all this good booze and I get the fuckin couch??? What the hell?"
"Zhat ees what you get," Chilla replied, her Russian accent getting thicker and thicker. She set down the empty vodka bottle and stumbled a bit. "Vhen you...da," she asserted.
"When I what?" Charles asked her curiously. She had jumped ahead of herself and he missed what she was going to say altogether.
"You know vhat you did," Chilla said accusingly, pointing a finger at him and swaing uncertainly.
Olivia hobbled over to Charles with a hiccup. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, pressing her chest against his back. "Don't worry...you can sleep with me. Wink wink."
Charles's entire face grew a bright red as she pressed against him
Olivia giggled with an ending hiccup. She kept herself there with her arms around him, "What do you say baby?"
"I'd say you're rather drunk." Charles responded, looking over his shoulder at her, "But still as beautiful as ever."
"DON'T DO IT!" Chilla warned. "She'll eat your skin!"
"That's right...I might eat your skin...." Olivia whispered before she started sucking on Charles' neck. She started swaying her butt from side to side.
Charles reached back and placed a hand on her swaying butt, gently cupping her firm ass.
"Oh!" Olivia perked up before leaning against him once more, "A little frisky are we?"
Charles reached back and pulled he rin front of him. "I'm a bit drunk..."
Max Grabbed her bottle of everclear and seeing Olivia pawing on Charles angrily took the wine away from her "Special occasions remember?" She put the wine back in it's box and into her bag then wedged herself between Olivia and Charles and sat down.
"Less face it" Kyle hiccoughed, glaring slightly at Olivia "Noone's going to sleep in a bed tonight, we're all gonna be passed out on the floor. That is, if Olivia lets any of us sleep at all." He smiled a slightly knowing smile and stared at a wall.
Olivia let out a giggle-snort and got up. She hobbled and swayed a little as she walked over to Kyle, "Shhh....they are on their honeymoon." she winked. Her eyes were very relaxed and her stance was unstable.
Kyle laughed and grabbed Olivia's hip tightly, pulling her down so she was sitting in his lap "Sit down before you fall down." He grinned and hugged her tightly.
"Gah...claustrophobic!" Olivia muttered as if struggling for air. "Damn it's hot in here..."
"Ummm hiya Max..." Charles said she wedged herself between him and Olivia. He grinned sheepishly. "How are youuuuuuu?"
Kyle grinned and let her go slightly, still holding her on his lap slightly "Hmmmmmm... need more booze." He grinned and gulped down a huge load of the stuff in the bottle.
"Friend!" Olivia dove and snatched the alcohol. She fell off his lap and crashed on the floor. "Mine..."
"Don't mistake my behavoir as being drunk." Max told Charles "I'm stoned, drunk happens in half an hour or so."
"Okkkkkkkk.....well i'm a little drunk right now." Chrales replied
"Bouncy!" Olivia said about her breasts when she fell to the floor. She took a swig of the alcohol. She was to the point where she has already had way too much.
Kyle hiccoughed again, smiling "Yup, and jiggly..." He couldn't resist from reaching forward slowly and poking her breast with a rough finger.
Olivia squeaked and crawled away to Charles, "He is raping me!!!"
Charles looked at her curiously. "Ummmmm......but he's sitting over there?"
Olivia hiccuped and rolled on the floor, "He touched my boobie..."
Kyle crawled after Olivia, actually it was more like a slither by this time "C'mon... you liked it."
Charles reached down and cupped her breast. "Like this?" He asked her curiously
Max shot up off he couch an headed Outside into the woods She let the door slam on her way out.
Kyle reached forward and slapped Charles around the back of his head "I'da tell joo to get ur'wn but s'ee jush lfft." He got up shakily and followed Max out.
"Yea....like...dat." Olivia replied, leaning forwards towards Charles. "But..." she whispered with her cupped hand, "Don't tell anyone." She hiccuped and tried to get to her feet, failing miserably. "Why is the floor made of jello? Did you make this mess Charlie?"
Chilla snarled. "And vot am I, chopped liver?" She asked angrily. "Fuuck joo fags." She stood up and kicked Olivia in the butt as she passed, going into her room.
"Ow!" Olivia fell flat, grabbing her butt.
Charles fell over on the couch. "What the hell is going on today???"
Olivia got to her feet after a while and struggled on her way to Chilla, grabbing onto anything for support, "Chilla....?"
"Vaaat?" Chilla asked in mock-anger, looking back at her with a lean.
Her legs were wobbly as she hung onto the wooden boarders of the wall, "What's wrong? I'm sorry!"
"Nosing is wrong!" Chilla yelled. "Is alright! Nichyevo! Go back to drinking!" She pointed at the living room forcefully.
Olivia sat down on the bed and turned to her, "Let's not be angry Chill...I'm your friend." she said in a slur.
"I is not angry!" Chilla yelled, her r's rolling. "Do I look angry? Do I sound angry?" She fell down on the bed accidentally. "Who put bed here?!" She yelled angrily, then let loose a string of Russian swearing.
"Oh no! Your speaking in tongues!" Olivia gasped. She crawled up towards her on the bed and leaned over her. "Don't go into *hic* the light! Your my friend!"
"Vat liiight?" Chilla asked irritably, then pushed her head back further into the springs. "Joo are very close," she stated, staring up at her.
With her eyes half open, Olivia looked down at Chilla. "Don't worry...." she bent down and hugged her, "I don't let the Jews take you!!"
"Aach!" Chilla exclaimed, followed by a string of words in various different languages. "Vhen 'ave dey been a problem, eh? Have zhey been bothering you?" Her accent was dipping into a French slur as well.
"Demons!" Olivia shouted, thinking she was possessed. "I'll save you!" She came back up from her hug and quickly leaned in at Chilla, planting a firm kiss on her lips. Since Olivia is drunk and wobbly, she put a decent amount of force on the kiss, holding Chilla down.
Chilla's eyes widened and small, protesting noises came from her mouth. She shoved Olivia off of her and over onto the bed and got up. "Mon dieu!" She swore. "I am not drunk enough for zhat kind of behavior," She said, stumbling off to the main room and taking out another bottle of vodka.
Olivia bounced and fell off the bed and hit the back of her head on the edge of the side table. She curled herself up in a ball, grabbing her head. Olivia held a wince on her face as the pain came.
Chilla had chugged back a sizable portion of the vodka when the crack of Olivia's head against the table startled her. She set the bottle down as carefully as she could on the table and staggered back to her room. "Liv!" She exclaimed. "Merde! Daijobu, desu-ka?!" She asked worriedly, unaware she had slipped into Japanese. She gripped Olivia under the arms and lifted her uncertainly to her feet.
Olivia's face still had the look of disgust on it when Chilla helped her up. Her eyes were watery on reflex from the blow, "It hurts...I'm sorry." She looked and and grabbed the back of her head where a bump had risen, "I'm so..*hic*..useless and always in the way." Due to the alcohol, she was a bit more emotional then normal.
"Oh, nyet, nyeet," Chilla cooed, hugging her and kissing her head gently. "Vous etes tres utilise', et tres belle, et tres jolie!" The vodka slurred her words slightly.
Olivia tucked her head into Chilla's chest as tears streamed down her chin. She had no idea what was just told to her, but how it sounded felt nice. Olivia's face was almost totally hidden within her arms and body.
Chilla tisked gently and stroked her hair, swaying slightly. "Pauvre petite...pauvre, pauvre belle petite...." She purred into Olivia's ear, her eyes closing sleepily. "Elle est une belle poisson, mais je besoin asseye," She swayed, almost falling off balance.
Olivia's face was nuzzled bewteen her breasts at the time. She almost fell down with Chilla. "We sssshould sit." she told her, wobbling over to the bed again. Once they sat, Olivia looked at Chilla and whipped her tears away. "I feel better n-*hic* now."
"Ah, bon!" Chilla smiled drunkenly. "N'est pas bien que vous etes trop mal, n'est pas?" She paused, cocking her head at her. "Alors," She leaned in and kissed her half on the lips, half on the cheek.
Olivia looked wide-eyed at Chilla. She had always had a crush on her but was too ashamed to say anytihng. Her body seemed to take over since her mind was intoxiceted. Olivia thrust forwards at Chilla and kissed her deeply on the lips.
Chilla closed her eyes and leaned into the kiss, convinced she was dreaming. And everyone knows that what one does in dreams has no consequences. She cradled Olivia's face in her fingers gently.
Olivia wrapped her arms around her upper body, pulling her in more. She parted her lips a little, attempting to slip her tongue into her mouth.
Charles got up fromt he couch slowly and looked around. Nobody was around and the room was spinning a bit. He took a swig from a half empty bottle of vodka and made his way toward Chilla's room. The way she had stormed out just after Max had him a little concerned. He knew that he had hurt Max, but she was outside and so was Kyle, no doubt trying to be the good guy. He groaned and felt his head. Why were all the women he liked int he same building and everything going so wrong? Could it have been all the booze he brought with him? He shook his head. It couldn't be the alcohol. He walked over to Chilla's door and pushed it open slowly.
Chilla parted her lips and pushed her tongue into Liv's mouth eagerly, all for the idea. She moaned slightly and cradled her head in her hands, pressing against her. She hardly noticed Charles opening the door to her room.
Charles stood there and watched dumbfounded as CHilla and Liv made out. He closed the door quietly, trying hard not to disturb them
Olivia was too hammered to notice anything else but Chilla and the feeling of her velvet tongue and the taste of her spit.
Forgetting herself, Chilla traced her hands down to Olivia's chest, thinking she was a guy. When she found breasts instead of pecs, she lifted away her hands and hesitated embarrassedly, settling them on Olivia's shoulders. She mumbled into Olivia's mouth, pulling away. "Ogorchyeiyo," She slurred. "Pardonnez-moi, ce n'est pas amiable que moi."
Olivia blushed a little and grabbed Chilla's hand. She pulled it to her chest again, cupping her breast. Without hesitation, she leaned in for another kiss.
kyle stumbled back in, grumbling loudly. He saw Charles over by the bedroom door and decided he'd go check it out with nothing else more interesting to do. He peeked past Charles and froze, watching the two girls beyond.
Chilla's lips met Olivia's, her hands hesitating before fondling her breasts, enjoying their fullness under her fingers. She slipped her tongue back into Olivia's mouth passionately.
Charles turned his head to Kyle and pressed a finger to his lips. He shook his head lightly. He didn't want to say anything for fear of disturbing this great show
Kyle put his hand over his mouth and laughed into it, still peeking threw the door. He wasn't going to be the one to break this up.
All of a sudden there was a loud banging on the door from the outside. "HELP ME!!" Max's voice screamed urgently "PLEASE LET ME IN LET ME IN LET ME IN!!!" Outside she was franticaly struggeling with the keys, none of them where working and she hadn;t locked the door when she'd left. "FOR FUCK SAKE PLEASE LET ME IN!!"
Startled, Kyle spun round and took a step back until ran straight to the door. He yanked at the handel, praying it would open.
The door swung open and Max stumbeled inside. On the floor she kicked the door shut and scrambeled to lock it. She was covered from head to foot in scratches and cuts. There where leaves stuck in her multi-color hair and her clothes where ripped, hardly clinging to her body. She was breathing heavily and franticaly hysterical.
Kyle whimpered slightly when he saw her battered and bleeding form. This didn't stop him from slamming his arm into the door, bracing it against anything that decided that these five students looked tasty.
"Max!!!" Charles shouted, rushing to her side
"We have to leave!" Max shouted "WE have to get out of here! Something in the woods! The woods attacked me! WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!"
Kyle cursed loudly "This stuff follows us! Get the car and go to the nearest town!" He let go of the door "Run you guys."
Olivia's kiss with Chilla broke and her hands returned to her sides as if she slipped out of a trance. She got up and headed towards Max to see what was going on, but she was still a little intoxicated. Olivia managed to get at least near the group before grabbing onto the table for support.
Chilla jumped at the sound of Max's voice, wiping off her mouth gingerly. She got up and swayed to outside, yelling worriedly in Russian.
"Hurry the fuck up!" Max yelled. She began throwing everyone's coats to them. She struggeled to get her's on.
Charles flung his coat on quickly
Chilla donned the long, grey trench her father had bought her from Ukraine clumsily, still somewhat confused. Not only was she scared, she was drunk, which made her rambling even MORE coherent. Slurred speech in four different languages is not condusive to intelligent conversation.
Olivia grabbed her jacket and struggled to put it on. She placed a hand on her head, "I don't feel so good...." she hobbled out of the door.
Kyle grabbed his thick armless coat and shoved it on quickly. he grabbed Olivia and in almost a whirlwind of movement he had wrapped her in her own coat. You could practically see the alcohol steaming off him, if anyone lit a match he'd go up in seconds.
Olivia wrapped her arms around Kyle as she started to sober up. "W-what's going on?"
"Trees attacking, Max injured, need to leave NOW" kyle said as he shoved his hand into his sleeping bag and searched around in it.
Olivia still clung onto Kyle as they headed owards the group and the vehicle, "What are you looking for?"
Kyle pulled out several bottles of alcohol and a lighter. He prepared to smash a bottle if needed, trees are wooden and that was one up to them.
Olivia grabbed the handle of the car door, "Are you bitches comming?!" she shouted at Max, Charles and Chilla.
Charles knelt and picked up Max slowly, "Come on babe."
Still tipsy, Olivia opened the door for Charles and Max to hop in te back.
Chilla stumbled out to the car, throwing herself into one of the seats and hitting her head on the roof of the car. She swore loudly, fumbling with the seat belt.
Although she was still drunk, she was able to agree with herself that she shouldn't be the one to drive. She opened the door to the front seat and crawled in. It was a lot harder then it should've been. "Kyle, you'll have to drive."
Max held onto Charles as they walked to the car. She clung to his coat tightly, jumping every time she heard the wind rustel the trees.
Kyle didn't care about doors, the window was down and that all he needed. He dove feet first into the driver's seat, he went to put the car into the fastest speed it had got but swore "KEYS!" he yelled holding his hand up as he scrabbled around in a hope they were on the floor.
Charles kept his arms wrapped around Max as he ran them to the car. "It's alright, Max, I've got you."
Olivia put on her belt and waited for Kyle, "Hurry...*hic*...up!"
Chilla dug into her jacket pocket and threw the keys at Kyle's head. "DRIVE!"
Max broke away from Charles just long enough to get into teh car.
Charles climbed in after her and sat beside her, lookinga t her worriedly
Kyle grabbed the keys out of mid air and stuck them in the ignition. He kicked it into life and the car took off like a rocket. Kyle swore as he avoided trees he was sure weren't there when they drove here. Or maybe he was paranoid.
Olivia held her stomach from Kyle's maniac driving. "Oww..."
Chilla's head got thrown back from the sudden start and cracked against the side of the car. She passed out from the alcohol and head trauma, slumping down against the back of Kyle's chair.
Olivia cautiously opened the car window on the passenger seat. Her face was pale and clearly ill. She leaned out of it for a while. Kyle's driving didn't help.
The car sped threw the path, slashing mud and leaves against the sides of the car. they'd just hit the beginning of the gravel stretch headding up to the bridge when Max screamed "STOP!" as kyle heeded her word she jumped out of the back passenger seat and disapeared into teh darkne pass the headlights.
Kyle panted gently as Max ran off into the dark. Looking around he saw the effects of his driving "Sorry guys" he groaned.
With that, Olivia puked out the window. Before she could say anything, she puked once more. "Owie..." she whipped her mouth off and slowly brought her head into the car, "Where is she going?"
Charles hung out the door. "MAX!!!!!!!" He turned to the others, "Where the hell is she going???"
"NOOO!!!" Max' voice came from beyond the glare of the headlights.
Olivia opened the door and hobbled out.
Kyle opened his door and passed Olivia in a flash. He was fueled by pure adrenaline now and nearly shot over the edge of the chasm that the bridge had covered.
Max Grabbed Kyle as he rn past her "It's out!" She screamed "The Bridge is out!" She shook him "THE FUCKING BRIDGE IS OUT!"
Kyle cursed and looked over the edge "Jump it?" he asked, flat on his back and panting slightly.
"It's a fucking half mile across!" Max yelled
The wind stopped blowing and all around them they could hear a strange sound, s if dull roar was coming closer to them. The sickening snap of trees being knocked over was coming closer.
"It's coming back!" Max screamed "Get in the car, get in the car, get in the car!!!"
"And now we run" Kyle said, physically jumping too his feet and spinning on the spot. He dashed back to the car and into the drivers seat, picking up Olivia on the way. He spun the car around and waited for Max impatiently, not bothering to explain to the others.
Charles hung out the door with his hand out, waiting for Max impatiently. He had no idea what was going on, but he had never seen her so scared in all his life before
Olivia leaned over the pasenger seat, over to Kyle. One hand planted between his legs and the other around his neck. "Your so sexy..." She puckered her lips and moved closer.
Kyle blushed and shifted her hand away from him "Not low Liv, we're kinda being hunted."
"Trees, yea....scarey." Olivia said, leaning in more towards him.
Kyle leaned in slightly but blinked and pushed her away again "Liv no! Not now! Later when we're all alive."
Olivia went back to her seat and crossed her arms. She turned out the window and pouted. Suddenly her eyes widened at what she saw, "Uhh....Kyle?"
"What!" Kyle said, getting impatient. He turned to look at her, then looked past her. He paled slightly WHERE THE HELL IS MAX!?
Max reached for Charles hand only to have it snatched up by the viney tendrils of a tree branch. She screamed, trying to pull her hand away from the tree's grip."
Olivia opened the door and went out, "Max!" she shouted as she watched it helplessly pull her away.
"EVERYBODY GET OUT!" Kyle yelled, shoving Chilla out of the car and trying to push Charles out. He was planning on driving the car right into that tree, that might buy some times.
Max screamed and oulled a butterflyknife out of her pocket. It had worked earlier. She hcked at the limb restrining her and broke free as it recpoilled. "IN THE CAR NOW!!!!"
Olivia got in and slammed the door shut. "When she gets in....fucking drive Kyle!"
Max grabbed Charle's hand and jumped in teh car. She squirmed all the way over on his side.
Charlesw rapped his arms around Max, holding her close to him. "i've got you Max." He looked at Kyle. "Get us the FUCK out of here, NOW!!!!"
Sighing and hauling CHilla back inside the car again Kyle turned round and hit the gass. It was far more bumpy now but that was because the trees he had thought had moved had definatley got in the way. They blocked most ways and Kyle either had to steer along until there was a break or get threw an impossibly tight gap by scrapping both wingmirrors off.
Olivia grabbed onto both the ceiling and door of the passenger seat, trying to keep herself still. Thank goodness she put her belt on.
((fyi...chilla is knocked out in the back seat and never left))
"Get us back to the cabin!" Max ordered clinging onto Charle's arm
"I'm trying!" Kyle yelled, smashing sideways into a tree and pinging off it. He skidded to a hault outside the cabin "EVERYBODY GO!" he yelled, kicking open his door.
Max sh0t out of the car like a bullett and scrambeled for the porch. She reached for the keys above the door but they wherent there. "OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!"
Too late, Kyle wasn't waiting for something so as simple as "the door". The was a thump, a crack and a heavier thump as Kyle barreled straight threw the door, taking it with him. The hinges had splintered so atleast the door was whole.
Olivia got out and opened the back door of the car. Chilla was still knocked out cold. "Charles! Help me!" She grabbed her upper body and hoisted her as much as she could out of the car.
Charles grabbed Chilla's legs, tucking them under his arms, he pushed her out of the car, climbing out the opposite side. "Let's go!'
"Hurry up!!" Max said as she hurried inside the house.
Finally Olivia, Chilla and Charles made it up the staris and into the cabin. She kicked the door closed and shouted, "Lock it!"
She and Charles carried Chilla over to the couch and set her down slowly. Olivia sat on the side of the couch and leaned over her a little. She shook Chilla by the shoulders and pleaded, "Chill? You have to get up! Wake up!"
Max Rushed tpo the door to lock it. She quickly wheeled the sewing machiene against the door as if it would help aginst anything that could intrude.
Kyle was shaking his head and snorting like a bull in an attempt to clear his head. Soon it was as clear as it was going to get though and he grabbed a nearby chair. He hauled it up and ran over to the door, slamming it beside Max's sewing machine.
Chilla groaned, coming out of unconsciousness sluggishly. She muttered a question in some language too slurred to even make out and pushed Olivia away gently.
Max sat down in the chair Kyle placed infront of the door. She was breathing heavily and bleeding frmo a cut on her forehead.
Olivia let go of her and scoot over, "Chill, you passed out at the WRONG time. We are being attacked by....trees." She said, not believeing it herself.
Chilla swore groggily. "Did you placate the tire irons?" She asked, troubleshooting.
"What?" Olivia asked quickly.
Charles turne dto Max and tore a piece of his shirt off, dabbing the blood from her forehead
"Thanks." Max said. "Sorry for freaking out. Just when you nearly get rapped by trees one tends to spaz."
Charles didn't even think about it. He took her face in his hands and kissed her
Kyle decided that they probably wanted to be alone and shifted away from Charles and Max. He was standing slightly uncertainly beside Olivia and Chilla, wondering if they wanted to be alone next as well.
"Ummm..." Max said slowly. She'd wanted Charles to at least pay attention to her all night but she wasn't thinking straight "Maybe we should check the back door..."
Chartles looked away embarassed
"I'll do that" Kyle said, nodding firmly "I mean, who else would be strong enough to shove a tree out of the door if it was open?" He walked back to where the back door was.
Olivia ran into the kitchen and got a glass of water. She came back to Chilla and handed her the glass. "Here.."
Chilla took the glass and downed it gratefully. "Thanks," she said, waking up a little bit more. Her head throbbed violently, but she tried to see past it and sat up carefully.
"You concious now?" Olivia asked quickly.
Charles looked at Max and blushed. "I'm sorry...now's not really the time...is it?"
"It's about time." Max told Chalres "But yeah, if we can hold off on the honeymoon till morning that would be great."
Charles smiled and nodded. "I'll try, but if it looks like we're not gonna make, I'm not gonna hold back, ok?" He winked
"I'll hold you to it." Max said
All around the cabin it was quiet. Threw the windosw the trees could be seen acting like norml trees. The wind was blowing lightly but the moon ws beginning to cloud over. Everything seemed still... for now.
"Way to go Max...you just HAD to piss off the trees, didn't you?" Olivia told her.
"Hay it wasn't my fault!" Max shouted "If you weren't showing your tits to every tom Kyle and CHarles I wouldn't even have gone on a walk!"
"What can I say? They are too beautiful to hide." Olivia came back, gropping herself.
Max stood off the seat infront of the door and reached back like she was going to take a swing at Olivia.
"LESS VIOLENCE MORE WATER." Chilla clutched at her head, smoothing the skin on her forehead. "The hell are you all on about anyway?"
Olivia ignored Max's attempt, she wasn't afraid. As if she wasn't going to hit her, she turned to get Chill more water.
Liv's walking away pissed Max off even more "If your goint to start a fucking fight finish it bitch."
Olivia stopped dead in her tracks. She turned around sharply, "What?! I was just saying that we wouldn't be hiding in this shit hole cabin with trees trying to kill us, if YOU hadn't got all emo and ran out!!" she shouted back with clenched fists.
"Well if you weren't such a raging whore I would never have went outside!" Max shouted. She wasn't keen on being called emo.
"Raging headache enters conversation," Chilla said irritably. "Wait, trees? What?"
"A raging whore? Hmm...yea...and this is comming from someone who doesn't even know how to flirt. Personally I actually thought you might even be a dyke at times. I'm really offeneded now." Olivia fought back.
"Maybe I don't have to supliment love with meaningless sexual conquests!" <B<Max</b> growled "If you where more of a person rather than a paper doll cut out of what you think people would want you to be you and Kyle would have worked out!"
"You guys," Chilla tried to interject, "This really isn't that important--"
Olivia's face either blushed or got red from anger, it was hard to tell. "You never left any hints or made any moves towards Charles! How the hell was I supposed to know!" she shrugged and smirked, "He seemed to be enjoying himself as I recall..."
"How else would a drunken man react with a pair of d-cups invading his persional space?" max asked loudly "And your pretty fucking blind if you didn't notice Charles and I liked eachother. I was giving him space!"
"Well sorry for not observing your 'guy on guy love' with Charles." Olivia snapped back. "Did it ever occur to you that I was also a little intoxicated? No-of course not. I'm the slut of the group..." she said in sarcasm.
"Will someone PLEASE shut the fuck up and tell me what's going on?!" Chilla asked, cradling her head.
"No liv your not a slut." Max barked "Your just a cock juggling thunder cunt!"
CHarles moved betweent hem. "Whoah whoah whoah! Hang on there girls."
"Charles go get something for Olivia to put her teeth in." Max said reaching back to swing at her again.
Charles grabbed her arm and looked at her sternly "We have trees attacking us outside? do you really want to fight over me right now?"
"Fine." max said lowering her fist "But keep her away from me."
Charles relaxed his grip and took her hand in his. He leaned in close. "I really am sorry, Max...I had a lil too much to drink earlier."
Kyle wondered in holding a big glass of water for Chilla. He hadn't heard the yelling he'd just thought she might need one. He sat down next to her an handed her the water, looking around at everyone. "What did I miss?" he whispered in her ear.
Olivia grit her teeth hard. One could almost imagine dust shooting out of her nose like a bull's. She turned away quickly and walked into one of the bedrooms and slammed the door. She went on the bed and started to beat the crap out of a pillow.
Kyle blinked and turned to Charles. Guessing that he could manage Max's towering rage he scrabbled to his feet. He knocked on the bedroom door gently before poking his head around it "Liv?" he asked, not daring to put anything but his head in the door "What's wrong?"
She whipped her head around from destroying the pillow, "WHAT?! Were you NOT here like 2 minutes ago?!"
"No, I wasn't. I was checking the back door" Kyle said, slipping inside the room slowly and closing the door behind him "What happened?"
A noise came from the celler and drew the attention of those in the living room. A trap door in the floor six feet away from the door blew open and hit the wall with a loud bang.
Max jumped seeing the trap door swing open. She grabbed onto Charle's arm and forgot about arguing with Olivia.
Olivia turned and slid off the bed, "What's going on out there?"
Charles looked at the trap door nervously. "What the fuck?!"
"It's probbly an animal." Max sid "It's not like trees can get inside a house."
Olivia peeked past Kyle into the living room.
Chilla had taken and downed the glass of water gratefully, and jumped at the pounding. Crawling up on the couch, she said, "I have one word for you sons of bitches: ROOTS."
"Maybe i'm a little insane but I think smoeone should check it out." Max said
Kyle sighed, maybe he was going a bit suicidal but what would anyone think of him if he didn't check it out for them? He walked out of Olivia's room slowly "Ok, Max." He chucked the keys to her "If it is something bad and I dont make it, you drive." He went over to the trap door entrance and peered down threw the darkness.
"Drive over the giant crater where the bridge used to be. Got it." Max said holding out a flashlight to Kyle
"Drive the other way, see if you cant stay alive long enough to get out the forest. Only last resort though..." Kyle muttered, taking the flash light and turning it on. He shined it into the dark as he started to descend.
Olivia walked and stood at the edge of the hole. She went ot her knees and shouted down at him, "Are you insane?! Stop playing hero and get your ass up here RIGHT NOW! I swear on my Mother's grave that if you so any further, I will jump in after you."
Charles sighed and squeezed Max's hand slightly. "He shouldn't go down there alone..." He got up and walked over tot he trap door, walking down the steps after Kyle.
kyle turned his flashlight up to see Charles down the steps to his level easily, lighting the steps as the other boy joined him. "Got a bigger pair than me" he murmered so Charles could hear but noone else could "I'd have stayed put if you'd gone down alone."
"And they call you the crazy one?" Charles said with a grin. "Couldn't let you come down and me look like a pussy with all the girls."
Kyle grinned back and punched Charles on the arm gently as he started to go down the steps again, using the flashlight to lead the way.
"Dude, I think Liv was saying something to you." Charles said, looking back at the top of the stairs.
Olivia was a little annoyed that Kyle didn't respond. "Damn you!" She did what she had said that she was going to do and went down after them.
"Did she?" was all Kyle got out before noticing Olivia storming down the stairs "Nice of you to join us Liv" he said, smiling gently "It doesn't look like there's anything down here."
"Liv, maybe you should go back upstairs. We don't know what blew those doors open. Could be dangerous." Charles said, pleading with her.
"What?!" Olivia shouted before grabbing the collar of Kyle's shirt and shoving him against the wall. "How dare you ignore me and go down here alone?! What if something happened to you?"
Kyle blinked, confused. Did Olivia have feelings for him? "It's better than if something happened to you" he said, removing her hand slowly "Im the fastest runner, the hardest hitter and the one with a bottle of spirits and a lighter down his pants, I was the best person to do this."
"I don't care!!!" Olivia shouted before she slapped him across his cheek. "Stop being so damn cocky! It's going to get you killed!"
Kyle sighed and shrugged, the slap didn't seem to have phazed him at all "Probably, but it's in my nature. Anyway, please stop shouting, you'll wake the trees."
"Fine!" Olivia said angrily in a whisper. "But don't you EVER do anything like that again, am I clear?"
"Ummm guys, can we get on with this please? This place is creeping me out." Charles said
This place scary? I think THAT has feelings for me... Kyle thought, glancing towards Olivia who looked more like an angry mother bear than a skinny girl to Kyle at the moment. He began to walk down slowly again, lighting the way carefully so noone fell.
Olivia took a breath and continued behind him.
"I will stay here," Chilla asserted heroically, still rubbing her head and eyes gently, and perched up on the couch.
"Ok, nothing's here....must've been a draft. Let's go." Olivia said grabbing Kyle's collar again.
Kyle sighed and swept the torch over the room. It wasn't empty. On a table a few meters away were several items, including a knife with a white handel, a tape recorder, a book that looked like it was wrapped in something dubious and a gun. "Dibs on the knife" he said at once.
"And what are you gonna do with that? Cut out names into the tree? I worry about your intelegence sometimes." Olivia huffed.
"Ok, im letting you get raped by the trees" Kyle joked as he took a few steps forward towards the items. "GUYS!" he called up to Max and Chilla "THERE'S SOMETHING DOWN HERE!"
"I'm defineately taking that gun." Charles, said, walking over to the table. "Alright, I'll take the gun and carry the recorder back up, Kyle, you want to grab this weird lookin book?"
Olivia used the light from her phone and grabbed it, "This is so stupid."
Kyle shivered when she picked the book up, he was pretty sure it was wrapped in skin. He reached forward and picked up the knife, checking it's handel. Sure enough, bone.
Olivia figured that it was leather. "What a stereotype...the men get the weapons."
Charles looked at the book curiously. "That's a pretty weird looking cover, Liv."
Kyle shivered more, he didn't like being down here anymore. "Let's go upstairs.." he mumbled, starting to walk upwards.
"Olivia noticed that the floor was dirtied and muddy. But she ignored it and looked down at the book. "Why do we need this?"
"Cause it's creepy and strange and is probably a clue to why the trees are attacking us" Kyle said calmly, trying not to seem freightened.
Charles nodded, agreeing with Kyle. "Who knows though? It's down here with a gun, a bone handled knife, and a tape recorder. I say we just take them upstairs and let Max take a look at them. She's the one who's into the creepy paranormal stuff."
"Fine. But could you excuse Kyle and I for a second?" Olivia asked. She was still really pissed at him for taking the role of hero AGAIN.
"I'd love to, but I'm at the end of the line here, you guys are ahed of me on the stairs." Charles said with a grin
Im a dead man, IM a dead man, IM A DEAD MAN! Kyle thought as he almost sprinted up the stairs.
"Get your ass back here!" Olivia shouted at him. After seeing that we was already more then helfway up the stairs, she rolled her eyes and sighed. "Whatever..." she walked up the stairs slowly, with her head down.
Kyle got to the top of the stairs, looked back and sighed. He pointed to light so they could see their way up "I'll talk to you in your room Liv..." he mumbled.
Charles followed Liv up the stairs, resting a hand on her shoulder. "You ok?"
Olivia grinned and looked back at him as they asended up the stairs on onto the floor. "Just a long day, you know?"
"Yeah I know." Charles said with a nod. "Come on, lets get out of this creepy basement."
Olivia got up and threw the skin book at Max. Before anyone could do or say anything, she grabbed Kyle and dragged him into Olivia's Room, slamming the door loudly.
Charles looked at Max curiously. "Whatta think?"
"I
"I have no clue." Max said thumbing threw the book. "I'd say it's inked in blood but this language dosent look like anything i've seen... The tape on the recorder might tell us something but I wouldn't play it till Liv and Kyle get back. That way we don;t have to explain everyting to them when tehy do get back."
Muffled shouting can be heard from the bedroom that Olivia and Kyle are in.
Kyle stumbled out of Olivia's room, one cheek very red and off balance from the kick from Olivia. He really didn't get women.
Olivia walked in after him and shut the cabin door. She blew out of the top of her mouth, and flipped her bangs up a bit. "So...what's the deal with all the crap we found in the basement?"
"We're going top play the tape. Hopefuly there is something that can help us." Max said placing the recorder on the coffee table. She sat on the dusty pink couch and motioned for the others to join her.
Olivia came in closer, pretty much forgetting that the two had fought a little while earlier. They did it all the time, it was almost natural.
Charles sat down beside Max, looking at her worriedly. "I've got a bad feelinga bout this."
"How Star Wars of you," Chilla remarked, still on the couch. "I agree, but considering this house is surrounded by...what did you guys say, trees? It might be good to find out why," She glanced at the walls, "And why they don't want to come into the house."
"Well what about this leather book?" Olivia asked, picking it up.
"Chilla is the language expert." Max said "You think you can figure it out Chill?"
{Subtle.}
"Lemme see it," Chilla took it from Olivia's hands and cracked it open, coughing slightly at the pungent old-book smell that came wafting up. "Huh," She pored over the pages. "Looks a little like...Sumerian, or something from the Fertile Crescent, maybe." She flipped through some of the other pages. "I really didn't spend a lot of time studying dead languages besides latin, but..." She bit her lip. "It has certain similarities, but I'd be terrified of misinterpreting it or just plain reading it wrong."
"Well maybe this will help." Max said She sat on the edge of the table and turned on the tape recorder.
The tape recorder turned on with a bit of feedback mixed into the audio.
"It has been a number of years since I began excavating the ruins of Kandar with a group of my collogues. Now my wife and I have retreated to this cabin and the solitude of these mountains. Here I continued my research undisturbed by the myriad distractions of civilization and far from the groves of academe. I believe I have made a significant find in the Kandarian ruins. A volume of ancient Sumerian burial practices and funerary incantations. It is entitled Notchuram Demanto. Roughly translated Book of the Dead. The book is bound in human flesh and inked in human blood. It deals with demons, demon resurrection and those forces which roam the forces and dark bowers of man’s domain. The first few pages warn that these enduring creatures may lay dormant but are never truly dead. They may be recalled to active life by the incantations presented in this book. It is threw recitation of these passages that the demons are given license to possess the living.

Max stood and went over to the window. Stairing into the woods.
"Well that helps raise our self esteem." Olivia remarked.
Kyle gulped and stared at the book and tape "Why do I get the feeling it's just got worse?"
Chilla put the book down on the couch gingerly when she heard it was bound in human flesh. "Because it obviously just got worse," she answered.
"Why does this sort of thing constantly happen to us?" Charles asked as he walked over to Max and took a hold of her hand worriedly
"Luck?" Olivia spat out.
"Bet ya I have a gypsy curse on me that I dont know about..." kyle said solemley.
Olivia looked at him momentarily, "Your such an idiot."
Max's breath became noticably haggared. "Why." She said slowly "Whhyyyyy." she repeated.
Kyle picked up the skin bound book and ran a hand over it "What does this book do again?"
"Max?" Charles asked her worriedly, her voice had changed
Max spun around and levitated three feet off the cabin floor. "WHY HAVE YOU DESTROYED OUR SLUMBER?" Her voice bellowed, raspy like grave. Her eyes where completely white and her face was controted beyond recognition.
Chilla screamed and jumped back blindly, hitting the wall and ending up landing haphazardly behind the couch.
"Holy shit!" Olivia jumped back, falling over a chair. She kept her eyes on Max and shuffled backwards as fast as she could.
Charles took a few cautious steps back, "Max?"
"WE SHALL DEVOUR YOUR SOULS!!!!!" Max shouted poiting a gnarled finger right at carles.
"Do something, Charles!" Olivia shouted.
Charles did the first thign his mind thought of in this situation. He fell over backwards, fainting.
"FUCKIN A!" Chilla shrieked as Charles' body hit the floorboards with a thud.
Max floated towards them slowly, her breathing ragged and haunting. Sudenly her face went slack and she colapsed, knocking teh contents of her art bag to the floor.
Everyone was silent for a moment, "I think it's over." Olivia got up and walked over to Max. She poked her with her foot, "Max..?"
Unbeknownst to Olivia Max' hand clinched tightly to a sharp pencil on the floor. She waited for her foot to tap her again before spinning around and grinding the pencil into Olivia's exposed achilles tendn.
Olivia instantly fell to the floor, grabbing abover her ankle. "AHHHH!!!" Her screams in agony practically filled the entire woods. The pencil tip was poked out the other side of her tendon. Blood flowed quickly out of her wound and all over the wooden floor. "AHH!! OH GOD!!"
Chilla had stood up from behind the couch and watched in horror as Olivia got stabbed. "LIV!" She yelled, and grabbed the neareest object--a half full bottle of liquor. Vaulting over the couch, she cracked it over Max's head, not quite sure what she was doing. She had by complete and utter luck broken the bottle right, so it didn't shatter in her hands.
Tears streamed down her face. Olivia tried with all her might to crawl away from Max, however, she was failing. Her body was shaking and the blood kept seeping out of her wound.
With a mighty kick to the face, Chilla knocked Max into the cellar and shut the door hard behind her. She sat on it and glanced around for the lock. "Liv, where's the lock?" She asked breathlessly.
Olivia was still writhing with her ankle on the ground, "I don't know!!!" she screamed, her pain adding to it's volume. "I'm supposed to be passing out!" Ahh!!"
Max thrashed and sreamed ildly beneath Chilla who was holding the door shut
The blow could knock anyone out, or atleast Kyle hoped so. He knew he might get in trouble for doing it but it was a good guess that the pain in her foot and a new pain would override the system and Olivia would go down.
Olivia shouting ceased when Kyle hit her on the head. Her tear filled eyes rolled into the back of her head before she fell limp on the floor. Her wound was still bleeding badly.
Kyle winced slightly and knelt down beside her. He took off his shirt and ripped a long piece from it, carefully removing the pencil after he did. He wrapped the wound quickly, hoping to stem the flow of blood.
Unfortunately the removeal of the pencil only brought forth more blood. Kyle's shirt was red within a few seconds.
Kyle cursed, tying the binding tighter and forcing the pieces of shirt deeper to try and block the flow.
Chilla's face drained white, and she finally spotted the chain and lock on the cellar door. She fumbled with the padlock, but managed to get it tightly locked .
When the flow seemed to have stopped Kyle rubbed his head, what next. He looked around quickly, finding what he needed. Grabbing a couple of cushions off the sofa he stuffed them under Olivia's foot "Got to keep it elivated" he mumbled to himself.
Chilla sat down on the cushionless couch above the cellar, making damn sure Max stayed where she was. "Christ above," She swore breathlessly. "What do we do? What do we do?!"
"Save her" Kyle said, pointing to Olivia "Wake him up" he pointed to Charles "And get Max to stop being all... possesed." he pointed to the rattling floor.
Max tharshed against the cellar door, gradualy vibrating the sofa off of it until she had four or five more inches which which to peer at them. After her view was clear she mae no sounds other than her ragged breathing.
Kyle stared back, considering rolling a bottle of alcohol under there to see if you could get spirits drunk. Out of sheer curiosity and lack of any other thing to do he did just that, rolling a bottle threw the small peer hole that Max had made "Drink that."
Max caught the bottle and sent it hurdeling back towards Kyle's face. "Cum in it first and I might oblige you... lover." she said in a voice that sounded like six or seven differetn women talking at once.
Kyle blinked, that was a confussing thing to ask. He crawled towards Max's peer hole slowly "What?" he asked "Who are you anyway? Why do you want a 'lover'?"
Max reached out with a quick flick of her clawed hand. She felt the flesh of Kyle's cheek tear beneath her nails. A frightening cackel issued forth.
Kyle flinched slightly and tried to get away from Max "DAMMIT!" he yelled "LET ME GO YOU IDIOT! IM NOT YOUR LOVER! THE PASSED OUT ONE IS!"
Chilla leapt down and kicked Max in the face again, with more gusto this time. "Ydyet plashka v rvye," She snarled, with guttural undertones.
Charles woke up and looked around. "Wha? Where's Max??"
"Possessed," Chilla informed him in her most full-blown Russian accent. She sat down on the cellar door and wrapped the chains once, twice, three times around, and shoved the padlock through all of the overlapping links securely. She kept looking at Olivia with a great deal of concern, pained that she wasn't at liberty to go help her.
"Po...possessed???" Charles studdered and then turned to see Olivia's foot soaked in blood. "Oh my god! What the fuck happened?!?"
Max glaired at them threw the gp between the cellar door and the floor. She had roughtl 4 inches of visability where she could open the door.
Kyle cursed and felt the cuts on his cheek "Damn thing" he said, jumping on the cellar trap door. He growled and got off it, sitting a little way away so he could see her but she couldn't reach him.
The blood pooled on the floorboards from Olivia's wound, trailed over towards the cellar where the floor sunk in a little. It seeped through the crack to where Max was.
Kyle cursed and ran over to his sleeping bag. He grabbed a spare shirt out of his bag and ripped it to pieces. He wrapped it several times around Olivia's ankle, binding it tight.
As Kyle pulled the wrap tight, Olivia's back arched and she screamed.
Kyle winced and scrabbled back over to his bag. Fishing around he dug out pain killers. Putting two into his hand he went back over to Olivia and tried to force them into her mouth. He had meant to use them on a hangover, looks like it wasn't going to happen now.
Olivia grit her teeth and turned away, "Stop!" she screamed, "What are you doing?!" She tried to crawl, but the pain was too imense.
"Pain killers!" Kyle shouted over her fresh rippling screams "Take them!"
"I need something to drink!" Olivia shouted, grabbing her calf. "THIS HURT SO F*CKING MUCH!! Ahh...!!"
Kyle grabbed a bottle of the stuff he had been drinking and handed it to Olivia "Drink this in one and you wont feel a THING!"
Olivia took a swig and swallowed the pills. She threw the bottle, smashing it in the corner of the room. She closed her eyes tightly and dropped herself onto the ground. Olivia starred up at the ceiling, almost lifeless.
"Maybe pills and alcohol isn't too good a mix..." Kyle said, worridly.
It wasn't the alcohol and pills that made her lay back. It was the immense pain shooting up her body from her ankle.
Charles watched the cellar door nervously. There was no way that that thing could be Max. No way...
"I'm fucked...." Olivia said aloud.
Max stred at Charles threw the cellar door. she smiled evily as her gze never fltered.
"Don't even fucking say that," Chilla said, still sitting ontop of the cellar door. "Even if it's true, don't fuckin' say it. Nobody needs to hear it when it's true."
Kyle shrugged and took a chug from the bottle himself "Specialy the people who 'rrrrrre jus' as" he hicoughed "'cked as you are."
Olivia didn't blink as tears seeped out and down the sides of her temples. "I can't run....their is no way I will make it. Max either...she is gone." The painkillers were doing nearly nothing. Olivia's body was almost numbing itself now.
"Im'a carry you" Kyle said, nodding violently "An' we get Max less possessessessessed. EVEN if one of us has to crawl in there and get ripped to pieces as she" Kyle hiccoughed again "-uk's us."
"...I'll kill her." Chilla still had the broken bottle in her hand, and stared at it venemously. She looked up at Kyle and Olivia with wild eyes. "That's what I'll do. I'll just...kill her and be done with it."
"Ummmmmm.... no" Kyle said defiantly "No killin' our freinds. Read the book or somein..." He threw the book towards her "No killing the possesed."
"Oh, yeah, read the book so that even more fucked up spirits come up to murder us, that's an even better plan," Chilla spat.
Charles stared at the cellar door. "Just do it Chilla! There's gotta be somethin in that fuckin book that'll help Max! There has to be..."
Chilla sneered at him, but cracked open the book, picking a random page. She squinted at the archaic writing, moving her mouth slightly as she tried to decifer it.
Max sneered at chilla from the celler. now posessed by the ainchent demon she knew what details the book held. reding the wrong pasages could rise more in her place, even make the force tht drove them a thing of the flesh. But also drive the demons back from whence they came.
Kyle had gotten up shakily and snuck round the back of the cellar door so Max couldn't see him. He suddenly jumped and landed on the door, slamming it down onto her again before getting off quickly because he had seen her push a sofa off.
Max stayed beneath the door, biding her time she listened to the four of them.
Olivia shook a bit and used her upper body to try and crawl away with them, she wanted to be as far away from Max as possible. Olivia was the first to get lashed out at by her after all.
"AAH! JEEZ!" Chilla yelled, almost falling off the cellar door. He had jumped right behind her. "The hell is that supposed to help, jackass?!" She swore angrily at him.
"She was creepin' me out" Kyle mumbled, staring at the floor boards "An' it's best not to stand on there... What with the demented woman an' stuff."
"I was SITTING, you dickwad," Chilla snapped, "Weighing the damn thing down since I weigh a whole lot more than a dinky sofa." She threw the broken glass in his direction, but away from where it might actually hit him. She stood and seethed, moving away from the cellar door. "Fuck it. It's gonna get worse before it gets better," she decided, and began reading randomly aloud from the book.
Kyle winced as the glass shattered and skidded across the floor. "Fine" he growled, sitting on the trap door again "But will you stop throwin' stuff at us? You've already sugested we kill Max."
Max slammed her body against the trap door using more force than when she moved the sofa. The result SHOULD be Kyle slamming against the opposite wall behind the trap door.
Kyle let out a cry of surprise as he was forced to roll backwards until he smacked into the opposite wall hard. Instead of just a low moan of aching pain he let out a loud scream of pain. He bent forward and they saw broken glass protruding from his back, he'd been made to roll over and over in the glass that Chilla had smashed.
"Kyle!" Olivia shouted as she lay helpless on the floor. She tried with all her might to move over by him, but the pain from her leg shot up her torso.
"STOP!" Kyle yelled, cursing at how he had taken his shirt off to bandage Olivia's foot. He shivered violently, not daring to move a muscle for fear of more pain.
Olivia didn't listen, either she chose not to or was too out of it to comprehend it. She crawled towards him still, dragging her legs.
Chilla rushed over to Kyle, taking him by the forearms and lifting him with some difficulty off the glass. "C'mon," she grunted. "God above, this place is cursed!"
Kyle cursed a word that could have made Max flinch even if she's possesed as Chilla pulled him away from the glass, trying to crawl along as well so she didn't pull on his arm too much.
A twisted smile formed on Max's face. She knew it was only a matter of time before the demon awakened within Kyle would emerge.
Kyle's cries of pain slowly turned into a low growl. He arched his back, the glass dripping to the floor in a stream of molten glass. He let out a small chuckle, the cuts on his cheek seemingly steaming "Pain" he growled "Good..."
Max howled with laughter and began to bang against the trap door. Sending the echo of wood and cla\nking chains threw the whole cabin.
Olivia didn't like the sound of Kyle's voice. She held herself up a little as her entire leg got numb. "Kyle?"
Kyle approached Olivia slowly, sniffing around her quickly "Mmmmmmm" he growled "Female..." he licked her wound, his lick burning her but atleast cauderising the wound so it stopped bleeding. "Female... and blood."
"Kyle stop it!" Olivia leaned towards him and pushed his shoulders away.
Kyle sniffed at her over and over, grinning widely. Thick ropes of drool hung from his mouth, where it hit the wooden floor a small hissing noise sprang up "Pretty... female... make her bleed."
Olivia pulled her leg away from him and backed away as quickly as she could, "Kyle please...stop it!"
Kyle followed after her, knuckling along as if he was an animal "Pretty.. pretty... female" he growled softly "Make her bleed... make her slave... make her MINE!"
Olivia was exhausted and in agony. He was quickly ontop of her. She held her hands straight up on his shoulders, holding him up.
Kyle pressed against her, his mouth wide and massive jaws bared. He moved them towards her neck, his breath searing against her skin.
"It's Olivia!! REMEMBER WHAT WE TALKED ABOUT IN MY ROOM?!" Olivia screamed and squirmed under him.
Charles rushed to Olivia's rescue. He looped an arm around Kyle's neck and the other up under his left arm. He gripped his hands together, locking Kyle in and hauled him off of her
Olivia was shivering and managed to shuffle back.
Chilla grabbed Olivia from under Kyle, pulling her up around her waist. "We're gonna hang out in my room," she whispered harshly in her ear, "okay?" She wanted to lock her in so that there was a door and a lock between her and the rest of the demon infested group.
Olivia grabbed onto her for dear life. FINALLY someone took her off of the floor. Using her good foot, she hopped as best she could with Chilla.
Charles threw Kyle against the wall. "What the hell has gotten into you man?!"
"Make her bleed!"Max yelled, still banging against the trap door
Kyle let out a deep chuckle, getting up from the wall as if it was nothing. He extended one finger toward the trap door, grinning lop sidedly "Her." he said simply, the cuts on his cheek where she had scratched his letting out a small sizzling noise.
Chilla carefully laid Olivia down on the bed as quickly as she could, then moved over and shut the door, locking it. "Charles, follow our lead," She suggested.
Olivia knew that she had to snap out of her daze. She sat up and started to untie her wrap. Liv frowned as she took off Kyle's bloodied shirt. Her wound had clotted and her entire foot was full of dried, old blood. She grabbed a bed sheet and whipped around her foot carefully to get the blood off. "Fuck..."
"Hey, hey, hey, careful, chica," Chilla warned, taking the bedsheet carefully from her. "Lemme handle it, I can see straight due to having all my blood in me." She wiped down the blood on her foot, wary of the wound.
"Thanks, thanks a lot for helping me. I was starting to worry about how much longer that I was gonna be on that floor." Olivia replied.
"Don't mention it," Chilla mumbled. She never liked her close friends thanking her for anything. Whatever she did for them was out of a willing obligation to them, because they were her family.
"Here." Olivia leaned back on the bed and grabbed another thin sheet. She bit one end and ripped a long peice off. "Could you properly wrap this...Kyle did a half assed job on the old one just to make the bleeding stop."
"I'll do my best," Chilla replied, taking it from her. She bunched one end a bit and pressed it around the wound, covering both exit points, and wrapped the rest as quickly and tightly as she could without cutting off circulation. "Sorry," she said, knowing that it hurt her.
Olivia was bitting onto a pillow the whole time. When it was done, she planted her feet on the ground. "Thanks." She winced a bit when she put her heel down. SHe tried to stand, with one foot flat and the wounded one pointed so that she put her weight on her toes.
"Oh, wow. Uh." Chilla reached out, holding her cautiously under her arms. "I'm not so sure you should be walking, hon." She blinked rapidly, trying to get the raging headache in her head to go bother someone else for a change.
"I have to. I'm screwed otherwise." Olivia winced, attempting to walk, but clearly failing.
"Sit down for a sec." Chilla looked around the room. "I'll find you something to use as a cane or something. Here." The metal bed legs stretched up above the matress, and there was only a screw holding it to the rest of the bed. She took a small pocketknife from her pocket and flicked out the blade, using it to unscrew the post. "Get off the bed for a minute." She eased the post off the bed. It sagged and the remaining metal whined at the strain. Throwing away the screw, she handed it to Olivia. "Here, try that."
Olivia grabbed it and planted it on the ground. She reached on the fallen bed and wrappeda small peice of cloth on the top to cushin her hand. "This means a lot to me."
"Yeah, well, you can buy me dinner when we get out of here," Chilla replied. "Let's just hope this door holds and Charles is smarter than he lets on."
(ooc: Sod dont forget the dagger, axe and shotgun)
Max continued the bang gainst the door, howling with laughter,
"Come on man!" Charles said, backing up a bit as Kyle turned to face him. He was rather appalled by the sight of his friend's face. He backed up until he felt the bricks of the fireplace and reached down, grabbing the axe, he brought it up in front of him. "Come on Kyle...don't make me hurt you..."
Kyle cackled at the axe "You? hurt me?" He appraoched slowly, having to look up now though because he was walking around on all fours "Run little human" he growled.
Charles held his ground. He needed to give the girls as much time as possible. Liv was in pretty bad shape, if anyone could help her it was Chilla. "I'm warning you Kyle. I do know how to use this thing."
Kyle cocked his head, staring up at Charles "And what next little human?" he said in a mocking voice "What then? Kill me? Then you have to kill your girlfreind in the cellar." His grin widened "Or maybe I should go down there now and claim her for myself?"
"What's going on out there...?" Olivia asked from the bedside.
"I knew it," Chilla muttered through clenched teeth, pacing. "I fucking knew it, we should've killed the bitch when we had a chance." She glanced around for something that could work as a weapon, but everything there was either rusted or termite-gnawed to bits. "Fuck! Look for something I can kill Kyle with," she told Olivia, searching the room rigorously.
Olivia got a bit worried, "Can't we just kill Max? What if we read something in that book that we had?" She had both a crush on Kyle and Chilla. Even if Kyle was about to kill her earlier, she didn't want him to die.
"Alright, you distract Kyle, I'll go for the witch in the cellar," Chilla said distractedly, "We still need a chainsaw or a shotgun. Damnit, where's Bruce Campbell when you need him?!"
"Distract him?!" Olivia repeated, "I'm so screwed, aren't I?..."
Charles got angry at that comment. He rushed forward, slamming into Kyle and shoving the possessed guy out the window. "NOBODY Talks about her like that!"
Kyle grunted as he was thrown threw the window. There was a moment of silence and the finally SMASH! he came careering threw the bedroom window and skidded to a halt a little way away from the girls "MINE!" Kyle howled as he pounced at Olivia.
Without so much as a word, Chilla drove her fist into Kyle's face like a bullet train into a cow. "Unlock the door," she ordered breathlessly. She needed Charles in there, now.
Kyle hissed and pulled back, covering his face. Still where her fist had hit his mouth his saliva had burnt her hand.
"AHHH!" Olivia screamed as she was thrown onto the ground. She screamed both out of shock and the pain now shooting up and down her leg. She shuffled backwards til her back hit the door. With her eyes still locked on the drooling man in front of her, she reached her arm back and clicked the door open.
max continued to bang against her cellar door in hopes of dislodging it from the hinges
Charles had just enough time to catch his breath before the girls' bedroom door flung open and he saw a glimpse of Kyle attacking them. "Shit! How'd he get over there so fast??" He gripped the axe handle tightly and charged toward the room.
Chilla swore, clutching at her hand. She still had shoes on, and he was crouched on the floor, so instead of punching him again, she swung her leg like a pendulum and kicked Kyle's face in with a yell.
Olivia knew that both Charles and Chilla could hold off Kyle, but she wanted to get out of their way. She struggled to her feet and hobbled out of the bedroom and into the main living room area, using the bed post as a cane.
Charles leaped into action, nearly barrelling(sp?) into Olivia as she moved out of the doorway. He looked at Chilla and nodded. This was going to get gruesome next, he was glad he had her here for some support.
Kyle snorted, looking at the two people in front of him "no" he growled before diving right out the window again. Even though he looked like a slathering beast didn't mean that he was stupid.
Sensing that Kyle was no longer in the house Max fel silent and lowered the cellar door. She crouched on the stairs, waiting for the best time to torment them
Olivia heard that the struggling was gone from the bedroom. She crutched her way towards a chair near the kitchen table. Liv sat and paged through the old book.
"Okkkkk.....that was weird." Charles said to Chilla. He turned and looked at her. His eyes fell onto her hand and he winced. "You alright?"
There was a loud flash of lightening, throwing Kyle's shadow against the window beside Olivia. He wasn't at the window though, he was face down in the dirt and scooping great handfuls out of the earth.
His shadow appeared across the pages of her book. Olivia's eyes opened wide and jolted to the window instantly, but the shadow was gone. She went down to the book and flipped a few pages, trying to find something....anything.
Without a word, Chilla took the axe from Charles' hands, her eyes and face filled with turmoil, and with a forceful swing, buried it between her eyes. She stumbled for a moment, then fell to the ground, twitching and frothing and making odd movements before lying still.
Olivia stood when she heard Chilla's body slam the floor. She moved so she could see into the room. "Fuck
! she threw the book to the other side of the room and hobbled back into the bedroom. She grabbed Charles by the collar and yanked him. "What the fuck is the matter with you?! YOU LET CHILLA KILL HERSELF!" As quickly as she could, Olivia grabbed the handle of the axe that was lodged in her skull. With a quick motion, she yanked it out and brushed it up against Charles' throat.
Charles wrapped his fingers around the axe handle, pushing it back slightly. "Like I had a choice! Kyle drooled on her arm and then next thing I know, she grabs it out of my hand and kills herself!" He pushed Olivia out of his face, still keeping a hold ont he axe
Because of her injory, Olivia fell down and screamed in agony when her ankle was shifted. Her hand leaned back into the pool of Chilla's blood. Olivia squeaked and shuffled backwards until she hit the wall. "W-what do we do?"
"Khkkhkhkhkhkhh," said Chilla.
Olivia's eyes widened at the sound. She crawled on her knees and towered over her. "Oh my God-....Ch-chilla?" Olivia placed her hands on both sides of Chilla's head, not knowing what to do.
Charles stared at Chilla in disbelief. He had just watch her bury the axe head between her eyes,t here was no possible way she should be breathing right now
Olivia let go of Chilla's head. She folded her arms and arched her back. She turned away from Chilla and vomited on the floor. Olivia had never been so scared in her life. Two of her friends were possessed monsters, Chilla was dead or currently dying and Charles wasn't saying anything. Not to mention that her ankle was going on, uncared for.
"No...it's not possible..." Charles kept repeating quietly as he looked at Chilla. There was no possible way that she should be fine nowe.
"I'm so sorry Chilla...." Olivia cried as she grabbed the door knob and struggled to pull herself up. She whiped the vomit from her lips and looked at Charles with scared eyes, "Please Charles....help me get out of here."
Charles swallowed hard and kept a tight grip on the axe. He took a hold of Olivia's arm with his free hand. "Come on. I'll get you to safety, Liv."
Finally he showed compassion, even though it was very faint. She wobbled and hugged him close. Olivia had never felt so helpless and yet being in his arms made her feel somewhat secure. "Thank you."
Charles wreapped an arm around her waist and held onto her as they walked towards the door.
Chilla rose up from the floor like someone was picking her up. "That's good," she croaked, her eyes rolled into the back of her head. "Nichyevo friends dead." She cocked her head, trying to make sense of her words. "Careful we don't follow you home." She was somehow on her feet, swaying like she was held by strings on a mannequin. Blood dripped from the massive head wound betwixt her eyes.
Suddenly the walls began to shake, a deep thumping coming from the cellar. It wasn't Max causing it though, it was coming from even lower. Finally a fist broke threw the cellar wall, the brickwork being pulled apart to reveal Kyle's grinning face. "Hurry" he said to Max "Up up."
Olivia turned her head to see Chilla, "HOLY FUCK SHIT!" She tried to hobble faster with Charles, "Go go go go...."
As the rumbling and comotion of the floor boards was made the book of the dead was knocked from it's place on the table and onto the floor.
Laughing with deranged madness max quickly emerged frm the hole that Kyle made. Her hands reached out for Olivia, trying to catch hold of her hobbiling form.
Unfortunately, Max caught a hold of Olivia's good ankle, leaving her unable to excape. She fell to the ground but held onto Charle's clothing. "AHH!!"
"You have pretty flesh!" Max growled, pulling Olivia towards her and crawling closer at the same time "GIVE IT TO US!!!"
"GAH! CHARLES....DO SOMETHING!" Olivia jerked her foot, trying to get it back.
Chilla crouched down and peered at Max. "Good...host?" She asked conversationally.
"Holy shit!" Charles said as he and Olivia were pulled down by Max's hand. He swung the axe over his head, slamming it down through Max's wrist, cutting it clean off. The blood sprayed from the wound and covered Olivia. Before he could give her a chance tor eact, he bounded back to his feet, yanking her up. He looped one of her arms over his head. "Come on Liv. Let's get the fuck out of here!"
Olivia's body was currently being taken over by Max's cursed blood. It had sprayed into her mouth and eyes and slowly was taking effect. The white in her eyes turned into a dark blood red color as drool seeped out of her mouth.
"Get out, little boy blue," Chilla said to Charles, not moving from her stare at Max. "The next bell tolls for you."
Kyle let out a desperate howl and hit Max on the arm "SHE WAS MINE!" he growled, glaring at Max.
Olivia grabbed Charles' arm firmly and spun around to get out of her huddle next to him. She was standing on her wounded ankle as if uncaring. It started to bleed out everywhere when the scab was torn. The last bit of Olivia that was fleating made one last effort and removed her grasp from him as if saying, 'GTFO!'
Charles stared in disbelief as the last person he had here turned. He could see the turmoil in her face as she wrenched herself free of his grasp. The way she spun on her injured ankle, there was no doubt in his mind, she was one of them now...He backed away nervously. He couldn't just leave his friends like this. There was no way that they could be happy being controlled like this. He didn't know what was doing it, hell he had no idea how to stop them for that matter. All he had right now was the fire axe. The shotgun was laying across the room, if there was even any ammo in it, it would be a great tool for this job. He eyed the shotgun and tried to figure out how he'd make it through all three of them to get it.
Olivia stepped closer to him. The wound ripped open and her tendon stretched and broke out. Her eyes were blood red and open wide. "Come on Charlie...." she said in an eerie, almost echoing tone, "I know you want me." She limped towards him and ripped her shirt clear off, taking the bra off as well. She brought a hand to her bare breasts and squeezed them hard. Limping a little closer, she continued, "Come on....touch me..." Olivia clawed her skin, letting the blood flow down.
Max stood, her severed hand scrmbeled around on the floor like a frightened rat. Blak bile poored from her stub. She brought the bloodied stump to her mouth and supped on the spraying liquid. She hung behind Olivia, waiting for her ffeminine wiles to disrm Charles.
Chilla picked up the book and threw it at Charles' head, not completely comprehending that it wouldn't help him at all at this point. She wobbled on her feet.
Olivia gropped herself more and pinched her own nipples, "Touch me..." she said in the echoed voice. Her teathered skirt fell to the floor too. Blood seeped out of her chest and down along her pale thighs.
Charles felt the vomit creep up his throat and he really wished he had gottne a chance to drink more of that vodka...then he could blame all this on the booze. He moved his head tot he left as the skin covered book flew at him. He looked at it oddly. He doubted that reading that thing would help seeing as that's how it all started in the first place...
Olivia embraced her bloodied chest onto Charles'. If he wasn't careful, he would get her blood on him. "Kiss me Charlie....I want to taste you..."
"Syd---syd-sy-sy-sy-Charles," Chilla stuttered like a broken record. "I'm serious. Get the fu-fu-get the fuck out."
Charles shoved Olivia off of him. "Get off! Eh Gah...." He shook with disgust and looked down at his chest. There was blood all over his shirt. "I'm not leaving you guys like this. I can't..."
Olivia bumped into Max, who helped her regain her balance. Her neck jerked to one slant and started to walk closer. "Ohh...touch me Charlie...I want to feel your body."
"Who we?" Chilla grated. "Your fr-friends they're dead. Dead. Dead. All dead. Nought but sacks of flesh and bone for demons to pl-play with." With jerky movements she approached Charles and shoved Olivia to one side. The edges of her head wound exploded as teeth forced their way out, carving a mouth between her eyes. "Pretty hunks of flesh, pretty sides of meat, that's all they--that's all--that's all they are now--you want to join them?" Her voice kept changing pitch sharply, like a broken computer, as her mouth filled with teeth.
Charles raised the axe in froont of him, defensively. "I don't want to do this...not to you guys...you're my friends..."
"Your freinds are DEAD!" Kyle barked from behind him. He'd burrowed under Charles and now his top half was sticking out like some demented mole "Why dont you join them?" He let out a barking laugh and cocked his head to one side "They scream more when they were alive, why not just give in..."
Olivia regained herself and began to scratch her body furousously. Since she wasn't really 'killed', just possesed from Max's blood, her subconcious was fighting. It was as if she was scratching to get out of her own body. Blood pooled below her as her flesh was torn.
the book bounced off the wall and slid in olivi's blood across the floor. The fire had been disrupted by Kyle's emergance from the floorboards, now splintered floorboards and smoldering coals where slowly catching fire. The book was dangerously close.
Max staggered and lowered her head "Charles." She said, her voice normal again. She fell to her knees "Charles, help me." She looked up at him, her eyes and skin repaired from their former gaunt, decayed look. "Please... don;t let them take me."
Kyle grunted, staring up at Olivia as she tore at her own flesh fererishly. He shook his head madly and banged it against the floor. "NO!" he suddenly yelled at a section of nothing to his left "YOU ARE WEAK! YOU ARE USELESS! YOU ARE..." He shivered and turned the other way, facing his right "SHUT UP YOU DROOLING IDIOT!" his voice was normal now "I SWEAR IM GOING TO SMASH YOU OUT OF ME!" He began to smash his face into the floor violently, his nose breaking quickly.
Olivia grunted as she tore her skin deeper in an attempt to rip herself out of her body. Her hands and forarms were covered in her fresh blood. She was dangerously bleeding and continued to scratch dispite it.
"It's too late, too late, too late for us, my dear," Chilla chanted idely. "If we leave, we die, if you leave, we die, if you die, we live on to die a little more, a little more than you. See how the poison taints our blood?" She spread her arms wide at the spectacle around her as her eyes melted and dripped down her face. "If the boy will denie, find the source, find the source, find the source."
Charles backed away from the group. His body was a little stiff from fear. All his friends were gone and he was the only one left...what was he to do?! As he shoffled backwards, his ankled hit the book into the fire of the fireplace.
With that Olivia fell to her knees and collasped, dead instantly.
"No!" Chilla choked, and her voice got painfully high, screaming something in some twisted, horrible language before blood gushed from every orifice in her body, leaving her body crippled and twisted and dry, soaking in puddles of her own blood on the floor.
Kyle dropped dead and Max's head exploded, killing charles with skull shrapnel.
Charles grabbed his head and fell face forward, deader than a doornail.
