Pharen wandered the halls of a vast mansion, it was just after midnight and she was beginning to feel restless. It had been only a few hours since she'd eaten the raw corpse of a hen- a habit that she detested, though she knew that cooked meat now seemed disgusting. It was the blood of the beast that kept her alive, and that thought made her think of the old stories of vampires and other such beasts.

She had only recently regained her memories very recently, some of them made her scoff with her new knowledge. Movies of the past that dealt with zombies had them all as mindless brutes. But she knew otherwise now. Her kind were cold, calculating, and vastly determined to destroy every last human. The break in the war was coming to a close, she'd heard the elders plotting a fresh attack upon a nearby city, the human population was dwindling there, though of course the humans gathered in one main location- a school. She felt sorry for those humans, they were most likely all quite young and would fall quickly to the cruel tireless attacks of her kind.

Pharen leaned against a window, touching her hand to the old scar on her breast. Her death had been so violent, remembering it only brought pain to the empty wound, a sharp sting as though her body were remembering its last moments in life. She wondered why they couldn't all get along, why the humans and zombies couldn't live together in harmony. Are we all so vastly different? Our kind rose from the death of humans. Our history is within their bodies. Therefore... do we not share a common bond? She allowed her thoughts to wander, and didn't notice as she was approached by the figure of a man.

"Pharen, looking lovely as ever beneath the moonlight." Desmidas draped his arms over her shoulders, his dark hair melding with her own as he fingered the scar on her breast, "Does it still hurt?" He whispered, breath hot on her neck.

Pharen shivered and shrugged his arms off of her, "What does it matter to you?" She snapped, masking her own fear of him with anger.

"Don't worry, I've no interest in your dead flesh." He said, smirking cooly at her before walking away, his laughter dark and haunting in her ears, "I'll have more playthings soon enough as it is, my old toys are broken, I'll give them to the boys."

Heartless bastard... Pharen thought, wiping at a tear that had formed in her eye, One day I will have my revenge on him for taking my future away from me...

K'htressa sighed as she walked into the cafeteria.  Just another boring day. She thought as she got a bowel of Coco Puff cereal and took a seat near the window. Taking a quick look around at her surrounding she lowered her head letting her strawberry blonde hair fall around her face hiding it from view.

"Alright, time to go to the cafeteria for some breakfast." Raven said, dragging Kindra out of her room and down several hallways and an elevator before they came across the old cafeteria, "Feel free to get whatever you want." She said, moving to the microwave and pouring herself a bowl of water before mixing in the creamed oatmeal. She then set the bowl in the microwave and while waiting for the cereal to cook put several slices of toast into the toaster that sat nearby.

K'htressa leftted her head only slight and watched Raven and the new girl get breakfest.  What would she be possibly thinking wearing something like that. K'htressa wondered mindlessly.

Raven hummed to herself as the microwave dinged and she pulled her meal from it, stirring its contents hungrily before adding some sugar and cinnimon to spice up the flaver some. She then poured in a little milk to make it creamier before grabbing her toast and looking about for Naoko or an empty table.

K'htressa finnished up her cereal and got up picking up her bowel and walked to the dirty dishes window and put the bowel in it. She turned around and grapped a plate and a bagel and walked to the toster and put it in. Grabbing some cream chesse she turned and watched Raven waiting for her bagel to finnish heating up.

"Oh! K'htressa!" Raven finally noticed her, "How'd you sleep last night?" She bit into a slice of her toast hungrily, "Have you seen Naoko anywhere? He came down to breakfast before I did..."

K'htressa let out a smile as the toster rang, her bagel popping up. She set it on the plate licking her finger and turned back around twoard Raven. "I slept alright i guess if you count the numerus bad dreams again. How about you? As to your lovely Naoko, yea he is over there eating to me what looked like a bowel of icecream." K'htressa said comming to stand next to Raven and pointing to where Naoko sat. "Who's the new girl Raven?"

"Her name's Kindra, found her last night trying to kill poor Naoko. But, since she's learned he's not a bad guy she apologized. I slept about as good as yourself..." Raven said, taking another bite of her toast.

K'htressa laughed and shook her head. "She can't be the first to try to kill Naoko. Shit i remember thinking the same thing she was probably thinking. Anyway, I need to find out what these damn dreams are meaning... they keep getting more and more violent. One would think it would be a sign." K'htressa shurgged and took a bite of her bagel.

"I've been having nightmares myself- moreso than usual. It can only lead me to believe that perhaps this peace will be shortlived..." Raven said.

"Part of me hopes it has not come to that, while the other part hopes it does. Though we had better take a seat, I do not like being stared at." K'htressa looked around at the few people where starting to stare at the two standing there eating and talking.

"There's an empty table right here. Naoko looks busy." Raven said, nodding her head towards the table before walking towards it, "We can talk more once we're seated."

K'htressa nodded and walked to the table and set her plate down before running back over and grapped a glass of orange juice and took a seat. "So."

"My guess is the war is going to start up again. I have this weird feeling pushing me to finish my current project as soon as possible, like if I don't get it done then we're in for some major hell..."

"The only message i keep interpreting from my dreams is the next break out will be worse than the ones in our past." K'htressa responded spreading cream chesse over the rest of her baggle and taking bite. After swollowing she says, "would you want any help?"

"That would be wonderful, you'll have to get special clearance for the lower levels though. I think they give tests for that now..." Raven said, taking several bites of her oatmeal.

"Tests, oh lord have merci.  What might these tests be exactly?" K'htressa asked taking a drink of her orange juice.

"Well, one is almost like an IQ test, they like to know just what kind of people they're letting in. The second is like a physical, only a little more elaborate."

K'htressa let out a sigh. "The physical test I could do. But, the IQ test.. oh lordy, I dont think I could get good marks on that one. But, I guess it doesn't hurt to try huh. Alright where do I go to take these tests? I have seemed to have talked myself into trying." She said taking another bite of her bagel.

"I'll take you down and introduce you once we're finished eating." Raven said, dipping her second slice of toast into the oatmeal.

"Your little vamp is definately a looker." Kindra smirked as she invited herself to the table the two other girls were at. "But I would rather have a more saddistic man."

"Oh, that's easy. Just keep Naoko off of blood for about two days if you want to see sadistic." Raven said, finishing her oatmeal, "He gets pretty beastly... it's almost... adorable."

K'htressa laughed as she finished off her bagel. "Alright. As for Naoko, I am yet to see him off of blood. That would be a site to see." K'htressa said lifting her glass to her lips and taking a drink.

"May I see it just once?" Kindra's eyes were begging.

Naoko's ears twitched to the sound of his name, and he followed the sound to the three girls. He sighed as he saw that Kindra was with Raven and continued to eat slowly.

"No, Kindra." Raven said firmly, "Because I'll be the one to see his darker side in the end..."

Walking into the cafeteria Shade notices a pale boy listening in on three girls converstation, he slowly walks over "hey what are you doin" he whispered so the girls couldn't hear him.

K'htressa rolled her eyes at Kindra. "If Raven ever has her way the world will never see it. Why are you so interested in Naoko anyway?"

"Are you listening to me?" Shade asked quietly still trying not to attract the attention of the girls to the snooping boy beside him. "I hate being ignored" he sighed.

"Sorry...I'm listening to Raven..." Naoko blushed.

"Okay." Kindra sighed. "So he really is a good guy?"

"I know i wanted to know why" Shade asked him, "oh and what is your name i have no idea i am new here and you seemed ok so..."

"Yes, Naoko is a good guy." Raven nodded at her question.

"But i would like to know something" Shade whispered to the boy beside him," you are clearly not human so what are you???"

"I'm a vampire. The living dead that protects teh living." Naoko shrugged simply.

"That's good." Kindra agreed.

"Ah ok then now one more question what is your name?" Shade asked.

"Naoko." Naoko replied.

"Ah mine is Shade" Shade said, "and i guess you can figure that im not human either i mean if you are that in tune with your senses you should be able to."

"Yes, ut right now...I'm in Raven mode..." Naoko blushed.

"Ah is she human cause she doesn't seem like it to me she seems far to strongto be human" Shade said lightly to Naoko.

"She lets me feast. Nobody's blood compares to hers." Naoko replied lightly. "Not even Ameretto..."

"Ah so she is a vampire now then or soon to be anyway" Shade asked, "well anyway its none of my concern."

"As far as I know, she is human."

"Then how does she heal so quickly i saw you feed off of her just this morning and all that is there is a scar" Shade said a little confused.

"Immunity to me." Naoko shrugged.

"Well that is odd" Shade said to Naoko.

K'htressa drank the rest of her juice and slid the chair back. Taking a deep breath she turns her upper body tworad Naoko stretching. Yawning she turns back around and scoots the chiar forward just a bit and looked at Raven. "You know, Naoko has been stareing at us for at least five mins."

"Yes," Raven said, "I've noticed. He gets oddly curious at times. I guess he was wondering what we were talking about."

"Nosiy little boy. But since it seems we have someone here who is trying to hit on him, it would make perfect sence. But what is he going to do when war brakes out? There will be fighting day and night." K'htressa says leaning back in the chair.

"Well..." She leaned towards K'htressa as though about to tell a great secret, "Don't tell him this, but we're working on making him immune to the sun's harmful rays. Haven't had much luck with it just yet though."

"Now that would be a work or art in itself. Now I must help you out." K'htressa let out a sigh. "I knew there was some reason I was sent to this blasted school after the disaperance of my family. I just knew it."  More hope it.  But whats the differnce. She thought to herself.

"Could definately use the help." Raven agreed, "Especially help from my own age group. Most of the guys down there are a whole lot older than me... It gets annoying when they start to think that because I'm so young I don't have as much experience under my belt. Another project we're working on is something close to a 'hover car' only it's not a car. It's supposed to be this large, open topped vehicle that should fit the entire school's population easily. So far I've only gotten it about 5 feet off the ground- which definately doesn't work well for our purposes. I'm working on changing some of the wires around now, I want it to be at least 10 feet up before the war starts again..."

K'htressa nodded. "It would be better if we could shoot for 20 feet. As to the think-they-know-it-all guys.. they can easily be persuaded other wise. Who all else is working on it" K'htressa aske commpletly interested.

"Really it's just me. I won't let the resident genius' touch it." Raven said proudly, "Though of course I allow help from the headmistress, she's quite intelligent herself and has helped me to unstick the idea many a time."

K'htressa raised an eyebrow. "Well if i could be of any assistance." She said trying to hint she was ready to go. ONe thing she hated was being stared at.

"You definately can." Raven stood, "Kindra, we're going down to the lab. If you need anything just talk to one of the guards and they'll come get me."

K'htressa got up yawning and stretching, ready to follow Raven. "If you don't know where that is, there is a map at the dorms and right outside the cafiteria." She said almost like a robot.

"Bye now!" Raven left her dishes at the kitchen window to be cleaned and headed out of the cafeteria.

"Adios." K'htressa said getting up and also putting her dishes at the window. She dusted the crums off her shirt and followed Raven. "Interesting gall."

"Yeah." Raven led them to an elevator and pressed for the lowest listed floor before hitting three other buttons respectively.

"She's so going to be flirting non stop with Naoko. You do know that right?" K'htressa said not bothering to pay any attenntion to the buttons pressed.

"I know..." Raven sighed, "But that doesn't matter right now. I've got work to do and you've got some tests to get out of the way..."

K'htressa made a grossed out face at the mettion of the tests. "Ehh.. tests.." She leaned back on the wall and waited for it to stop and the doors open.

"They're not as bad as they sound." Raven promises, stepping forward when the doors opened and entering a hallway bustling with men and women in labcoats.

"I hope so." K'htressa responded as she stepped through doors. "Where are we going?"

"Not much further." Raven said, pulling a keycard from her pocket and swiping it through the lock. The door opened and several figures looked towards her.

"Hello Raven." She recieved several greetings.

"Hey everyone. I've brought someone down who wants to help me out, so be nice about the tests, understand?" Raven replied coolly.

"Of course." They chuckled, "We'll play nice this time..."

K'htressa raised an eyebrow at the words "We'll play nice this time".  Oh lord what did i get myself into. she thinks to herself as she smiled at Raven and everyone else.

"I'll be in the back room." Raven said, "Good luck." She continued forward and passed through several other doors.

"Well, first comes the physical exam." One said finally.

K'htressa nodded. One i can do. "Alright."

"This way please." He lead her over to a complicated looking machine.

K'htressa looked at it starting to get discourged as she followed. "Okay."

"Just relax and have a seat." He said, undoing several straps on the machine.

K'htressa did as she was told taking a deep breath to calm her down.

The man then strapped her in and attatched several wires to her forehead, neck, collarbone, and arms. The others stood over a different machine, writing madly upon their clipboards. After a few minutes the man unstrapped her, "You've passed." He said, "Now for the mental exam. The computer over there-" He pointed, "Is set up with the test. Answer everything to the best of your ability and at the end it will tell you whether you've passed or failed."

K'htressa nodded with a raised eyebrow. "Alright." She walked over to the computer and sat down and looked at the screen.

It blipped on and the first of many questions finally popped up with a multiple choice option at the bottom of the page.

K'htressa sighed and read every question once then went back and started answering them to the best of her knowledge.

After a while the screen flashed green, in big bold letters it said: PASSED 300

K'htressa raised an eyebrow before looking up... "Passed 300 mean anything special besides passing the test?" She asked stiffling a yawn.

"300 is just the filing number. It's just information for us." One of them said, "If you wait for another few moments we will issue you your own personal keycard."

"And here you are." They handed her a plastic card, "The elevator code is B 31572, understand?"

K'htressa took it. "Yea i guess. You hit the last button then you enter the code."

"Yes, now if you head through that door there," He pointed to the back, "There are three after that, you will find Raven in the very back."

"Alright. Thank you." K'htressa smiled and followed throught the four doors to the back.

Raven looked up when K'htressa entered, wires resting over her shoulders and in her mouth as she fiddled with her hover vehicle, "Mmps mp?" She said around the wires.

K'htressa hurried over to help. "What?"

Raven lifted her hand slowly and pulled the wires from her lips, "I said what's up? I take it you passed." She grinned.

K'htressa smiled. "Yep, easy peazy. Want some help?" She said bending down to take the wires from her.

"Of course, I'm just trying to swap and splice some of these wires before I give it its test drive at noon."

"Well but me to work boss. Lets get this puppy moving." She responded in a cheerful mood.

"Alright then." Raven cheered, "See that red and green wire? Strip some of the plastic off the wire and twist them together."

K'htressa nodded and took the wires putting the green one between her teeth and easily striped it and did the same to the red one. "That long enough?" She asks holding them up for inspection.

Raven nodded, "Yeah, it's plenty long enough." She said going back to her own work after she'd inspected it.

K'htressa smiled getting ready to connect the two wires.

Raven hummed softly to herself, a strangely haunting melody that she couldn't get out of her head as she connected wires of her own.

K'htressa connected the wires and looked at Raven. "Where did you hear that melody Raven?"

"To be honest- I'm not really sure." Raven looked up, "Probably somewhere when I was a little kid."

"I remember hearing that when.. well i guess it doesnt matter." K'htressa said shrugging but also wanting to say something more. She turned and connected another wire.

"When what?" Raven asked curiously, looking up at her.

"When my parents were killed." She said very softly not looking up but letting a tear come to her eye.

"Oh, I'm sorry..." Raven said softly, "It's terrible to lose one's parents..." For a moment her gaze became slightly distant before she shook her head and quickly went back to work.

K'htressa shruged wipping the tear and getting back to work. "I guess.. its been a while and I dont realy remember them much, well that is untill i hear the melody."

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to remind you of them..." Raven said.

"Its perfectly alright. I was just shocked to hear the melody from someone else." K'htressa responded finnishing up her wires. "All done here boss."

"Good." Raven said looking them over, "I'm going to move underneath, just continue playing with the wires."

"Will do." K'htressa did what she was told.

Raven pulled herself underneath of the vehicle and began to twist several different nozzles, her fingers flitted across a hidden keypad as she worked, putting in several different codes.

K'htressa but a blue and a red wire together before starting to hum a melody that sounded like "Hush my little baby.."

Raven wiped a thin sheen of sweat from her forehead, "It sure is warm in here today..." She commented, neither of her hands missing a beat on their work.

K'htressa seemed untouched with the heat and conintued saying, "Not realy, its confortable."

"Maybe it's just me then..." Raven said to herself, the vehicle released several high pitched beeps and she scurried out from beneath it, "Well, I think we've improved it a bit..." She said thoughtfully.

K'htressa raised an eyebrow connecting the last wire, red with blue and stood back. "i am glad."

"Yeah, me too. I feel that we're making some serious progress." Raven grinned.

"That is realy good then." K'htressa looked at her clock and saw they had been down here for two hours. "Time passes when your having fun." She said.

"Yeah, it does." Raven agreed, "How about a short break for some snacks and a drink?"

"Sounds good to me." K'htressa responded dusting off her hands and looking at their progress.

"Alright then, let's head back up to the cafeteria." Raven said.

"Alright." K'htressa headed for the elevators holding them open for Raven.

Raven slipped into the elevator, "After this we can take it for a test run outside."

K'htressa smiled and let the elevator close and pressed the main floor button. "Now that will be fun. But will is support the weight?"

"Oh definately." Raven said, "it's made to hold the weight of everybody here. So I simulate that weight with pressure levels on the deck just to make sure we're not going so high just because there's only a few of us on board."

"You really like her don't you?" Kindra startled Naoko as she joined him at his table.

"Raven?" Naoko blushed, "Never...."

"It's written all over your face." Kindra insisted.

"That's not possible becuase it's not true." Naoko coyly remarked.

"Ok this is gettin weird i will see yall later i am gonna find that chick you were spyin on and seeif they will help me out a little here" Shade said nervously.

"Alright. Just maken sure." K'htressa smiled as the door openned. "Shall we?" She jestured a hand as to say after you.

Raven smiled and slipped out of the elevator, "This is going to be fun, I am so excited..."

"So am I." K'htressa said as she stepped out of the elevator and followed Raven.

"It's been a while since somebody's gone with me." Raven said, "I go out every afternoon with it to try and push its limits."

"Well we made some good progress and we will have fun this afternoon." K'htressa said smiling.

"This is so exciting!" Raven said, hardly able to contain herself, opening the doors to the cafeteria.

K'htressa laughed at her excitement. "Yes it is." She followed Raven in.

"Hm, I'm hungry for some fruit." Raven said, moving over to the buffet and looking through it, "Ooh, an apple, a banana, and some grapes... And they have peanut butter too!" She squealed happily.

"Naoko, I've always wondered what it would be like to be bitten." Kindra muttered.

"If I bite you once...do you promise to leave me to my peace?" Naoko finally sighed.

"Yes. So long as I can still follow you around." Kindra replied.

"Deal." Naoko muttered. He slowly tilted her head back using his soft touch. After giding her neck into the proper positin, his hot breath brushed her flesh as his sharp vampyric fangs pierced her snowy skin. He began to suck her warm blood. She moaned slightly with pleasure and slightly with excitement. As he held her gently, yet firmly she fell more deeply infatuated with him. After several seconds, Naoko released his grasp on her and licking up the last bit of blood from her neck. He took a couple of steps back and wiped his moth and chin. "Are you satisfied?" Naoko blushed as he felt teh burning from her claw marks down his back.

"Uh-huh." Kindra replied in a slight murmur.

"Walking up to the girl Naoko called Raven he said to her" you might want to check on your boyfreind that girl over there won't leave him alone and he just bit her."

"He's not my boyfriend... Though biting somebody does truly cross the line..." Raven muttered, "I'll have a talk with him later on... Right now I'm getting a snack before heading back off to work."

"Hey is there any thing i can do to help i am sort of a wiz with science and stuff i may be able to assist you i haven't got anything better to do anyway and i like that kinda stuff" Shade said to Raven softly.

Raven blinked, "Well, at the moment there's not much to do but go on a joyride." She grinned, "Though if you're really interested I'll let you take a gander later."

"Alright but can i watch you test that thing yall took outside then cause i figured that was what you were talkin about" Shade said dodging a clumbsy student that almost ran him over.

"Naoko, you're very attractive." Kindra muttered.

"Do you always hunt down attractive men?" Naoko quirked an eyebow.

"Hell, you can come with us if you want." Raven said, "Could use another real body or two onboard..."

"....It won't kill me or anything will it?" Shade asked nervously.

"Nah, it's not deadly." Raven said, putting a finger thoughtfully to her lip, "It shouldn't explode unless something was rewired wrong..."

".....Ok.... are there any shadowed places i could sit i don't like the sun and it is an easy escape for me" Shade asked shaking a little at what raven said.

K'htressa let out a laugh behinde them grabbing a plate and taking some grapes and making a salad. "Welcome a-board." She said to Shade looking around the cafetiera.

"Of course. I had to make it so that Naoko could come too you know, even if it was in broad daylight." Raven replied.

Jacin came up very quitely behind the three and grabbed K'htressa's waist. "Hey you." He said in her ear.

K'htressa brought her left elbow down on Jacin's groin as a pure reaction to the sneaking up on. "Who the hell is.." She turned around and saw his face red with the impact.

"It's only me." He squeaked bending over in pain.

Raven released a crisp laugh, "Honestly, you should know by now..." She said, shaking her head.

"Yes I should, but I forgot." He squeaked at Raven as K'htressa passed her plate to him to carry.

"He won't forget it now. I am sorry, but you know how I am." She responded trying not to laugh.

"Yeah..." Raven said, "We're all a little tightly strung right now..."

"I can see that." He said finnaly standing up straight.

"The war's been on hold for too long." Raven said, her tone serious now, "It's bound to start up again and we won't have proper defenses against the zombies."

"That is very true Raven. Though I have been training along with some other students to fight. But we need to get this school fortified." Jacin said also taking on a serious tone.

"We've all been working hard." Raven replied, "Hopefully it'll be enough..."

"Let us hope so." Jacin replied as he turned and walked with K'htressa to the tabel where Naoko sat. "Hello Naoko, long time no see." Jace said as he sat her plate on the table and took a seat next to K'htressa.

"who is he" Shade asked raven quieetly. "And why did she hit him in the groin?"

"That would be her boyfriend Jacin." Raven replied, "And he snuck up on her..."

" Ah.....she scares me" shade said nervously. "But anyway lets go ahead and eat so we can all go joy ridin hopefully we won't all die" he said snickering a little.

"Of course." Raven chuckled, seating herself near Naoko as she spoke.

"Too long." Naoko muttered.

"Did you say that you need to help Naoko in the daylight?" Kindra asked.

"Besides being surrounded by ladies.. what have you been up to?" Jacin asked.

"My sweet poison..the ameretto..." Naoko smiled sheepishly. "And you?"

"Nothing much, just training and getting tests out of the way so i have a clear month of lazyness. Ameretto huh. Well.." Jacin said smiling.

K'htressa looked between the two then finnaly at Raven. "It would be nice to understand a word they are talking about." She said playfuly.

"Yeah, its too bad that us men feel the desire to make sense." Naoko playfully replied.

"Its also to bad, that we love yall threw the mummbling and baby talk." She said back before taking a bite of her salad.

"And we love you through emotional madness and general insanity." Naoko smirked.

"We aren't insane unless we are working on something big and as to the emotions well... yall learn to live with it or move out." She said sticking her tounge out.

Naoko bit her tongue instantly. Afterwards, "You know the rules...no teasing unless you're willing to show for your teases."

K'htressa recoiled her tounge to her mouth and but a hand over it muttering. "Owww.. your an ass.. I will remember that when you want something." She said still teasing.

"We've gone over the rules a million times. Tonge to me, equals a free bite." Naoko replied.

"Biteing my tounge though defeats any favors you might ask me" She responded.

"B-bu-but..." Naoko shot her a begging glance.

"No buts. You knew the rule, though i dont like the taste of my own blood in my mouth. It ruins the tast of food and my appitite." She said pushing her plate away and taking a napkin and putting it on her tounge where is was bleeding. "But there is one way you can get those favors back."

Naoko leapt up and began sucking the blood out of her mouth.

K'htressa froze, not expecting what Naoko did.

Though Jacin grew realy stiff ready to sock Naoko. "What the hell do you think you are doing to my girlfriend?!?!" He shouted standing up.

Jumping in between them Shade said calmly" do yall always act so immature fighting doesn't sove anything among freinds."

Jacin looked at Shade. "Who the hell are you?"

Shades eyes started glowing dark red, "Dont talk to me like that i haven't the pateints to put up with your bickering since you won't let me handle it calmly."

"Who the HELL are you?" Jacin asked starting to get pissed and letting it show.

"Wwll, I was cleaning blood..." Naoko muttered. "It's harmless."

Jacin looked at Naoko. "Alright.. sorry a bit jumpy." He turns back to Shade.."Plan on answering?"

K'htressa took that chance and looked at the three guys. "Umm.. I would answer him if i were you. And uhh.. thanks Naoko."

"lets take a little walk shall we" Shade said to Jacin, he raises a shasow and pulls them both into the ground.

K'htressa let out a scream as her boyfriend was takin. "Naoko where the hell did they go?!?!"

shade pulls them both back up in the court yard of the school,"don't test my patients i could have left you down there. Now my name is Shade since you were being so rude."

Jacin put his hand on his blade. "I dont think that was a wise choise. Secondly you didnt not know if i was going to start a fight. Thirdly, nice to know your name Shade."

" Well if you had have started fighting i would have just left you underground to suffocate, and what is your name you never told me" Shade said calmly.

"The name is Jacin, and if i had started the fight you would have had no reason to jump in the middle." He growled back turning around and walking twoard the door.

"Oops i thought you meant fighting me when i jumped in between" Shade said blushing from embarrasment, "now if you and him had have started fighting i would have just raised a shield in between you both."

"Just a warning Shade. If you ever jump in between a fight that i am in and raise a shield. You will get whats coming to you. No one gets in between a fight unless it will end up in the headmasters or mistress' office." He said oppeing the door but turning around to face Shade.

"You know what i don't give a damn did you even stop to think how the girls might have felt about the two of you fighting that is the only reason i jumped in and if you want to get an attitude wit hme about that we can settle this right now human" Shade barked with his eyes glowing red again.

"We dont need a death on our hands, not as close as we are to another breakout VAMPIRE. But the girls would have been fine.. all we would do is sock eachother, ignore eachother, then sooner or later come back to terms." He said back not removing his hand from his sword.

"Dont degrate me as much as to call me a vampire i am a shadow demon" Shade snapped.

"Fine your another demon who thinks the know everything. Let me clue you in, YOU DONT. As soon as you get that through your thick ass skull the sooner you will be repected." Jacin snarled back.

" I never even tried to act like i knew every fucking thing" Shade snarled, " and i don't give a damn if you ever respect me i was just trying to give you a damn chance to calm down but excuse the hell out of me for trying to fucing help. I will just let him kill you next time."

"When Naoko kills me.. well lets just say that would be a site. No one can be to careful in procteing the people they love. Expecially when they have been through enough hell." Jacin said trying to calm himself.

Trying to calm down as well Shade said, "I am sorry for interfering but i really was only trying to help i thought if you had time to think you would have realized that he wasn't doing anything really it was out of line but it was harmless and that is what i was trying to get you to see."

"I understand but that is why I asked what the hell he was doing before I acted. I do try to do that you know." He said taking a seat on a bench. "Though you know my girlfriend is most likely freaking because of what you did."

"Ok well i think we should go back inside before they think i killed you or something then" Shade said snickering a little, "oh and just so you know i was just taking us outide so we didn't get in any trouble if we did fight and so you couldn't get to Naoko as well."

"If i pissed Naoko off enough.. I wouldnt be able to hide anywere." Jacin said getting up and smiling. "Yes we better return."

Walking back into the Cafeteria with Jacin, Shade said, "hey hope yall didn't miss us too much" then started laughing.

Jacin saw K'htressa shocked face and came and gave her a hug. "Everything is cool. SHade and i might become good friend," He said smirking.

Hiding behind Jacin, Shade whispered, "she still scares me."

K'htressa shot Shade a warring glance.

Jacin on the other hand let out a laugh. "Thats one of her lovely qualities. Yall get used to it."

"Ok that look scares me even more" Shade said shaking a little, "i think she is meaner than you are Jacin because i wasn't ever scared of you."

"That is why i lover her." He said kissing her neck.

"Ok get a room i will leave you two to your own buisiness" Shade said covering his eyes, "IT BURNS IT BURNS" he yelled running down the halls just to embarrass the couple.

K'htressa and Jacin let out a laugh looking back to everyone else. "So anyway."

Walking back up to them Shade asked, " can this not wait til yall have time of your own K'htressa and Raven were supposed to take my ridin on that thingy of theres and i want to go but i have to wait til raven gets done eating and scolding Naoko."

"Scolding Naoko.. I must see this." Jacin said kissing her neck again. "Oh thats right you only look 12." Jacin snickered.

Kindra awoke from her nap, still bored. She looked about and shrugged. She found an uneaten salad and began to eat it casually.

"Hey what is with you you seem new around here like me cause most of the people are starring at you too" shade said to thegirl eating a salad, "oh my name is Shade what is yours?"

"Done!" Raven said, none of the past few minutes seeming to have phased her any, "Now whose coming with me?"

"ME ME ME ME ME" Shade yelled childishly, "i want to go but Jacin and K'htressa are to busy makin out ewww."

"Well, what do you expect? They're young and they're dating." Raven chuckled at his reaction.

"Yeah but that is what a room was made for" Shade said covering his eyes again.

"A room is for sleeping." Raven said, "Not kissing..."

"Well it is better suited for that than the cafeteria ain't it" Shade says sarcastically.

K'htressa stands up bending down to Jacin and snatching the gum he held out in his hand and kissed him. "I will be back later. Meet me in the courtyard, well that is if we come back alive." She said with a hint of of sarcasim.

Jacin nodded letting her take the gum but stood up giving her one more kiss just for Shade and sat back down. "Alright, have fun and stay safe."

"Ok ok lets go.....lets go!" Shade shouted as Jacin kissed K'htressa again, "Ewww i dont want to see that."
