2006-05-05 [Nite_Owl]: bleh, I've never seen a ghost....we're going on a cruise thing sometime later this year down the Mississippi kinda on the way to my uncle's place in Lousianna (he owns a bunch of casinos there). The ship we're going on is supposed to be haunted, so I'm hoping I actually get to see something :D

2006-05-25 [Nite_Owl]: there's really no reason to be afraid of airplanes :) Both my parents are air traffic controllers (the people that talk to the pilot and tell them what do to--basically, keep them and the passengers safe) so I've always been flying since I was bout 4 years old. My mum has a plane (kinda) that we go up in maybe once a month, and it's just so spiffy :D A lot of people a re afraid because of the terrorist thing, and even though it was really bad and whatnot it's not as if it's commonplace or anything.
2006-05-25 [Nite_Owl]: Some people are just afraid of things like the turbulance and such, which even though it's kinda uncomfortable sometimes isn't really threatening at all unless for some reason your pilot decides to fly through a tornado lol XP not exactly likely to say the least. Basically, just try it once--youll never get to go anywhere if you've never been on a plane hehe In fact, it'd make A LOT more sense to be afraid of cars, or even mules for that mater, since they cause more deaths etc than planes ever did heh

Liberty and Elis Islands were spiffy, but NYC ingeneral was just....crap -_-' In Boston, there's this awesome little seafood place with the cheapest lobster in the world, right in the harbor, no one there at all almost at prime dinner hour (^,^) The cab driver that told us about it (and brought us there) was the nicest person on the whole trip, which is sad. Everyone else was an ass-hat

2006-05-28 [Nite_Owl]: lol XD I think I would've liked NYC better if we had gotten to go to Broadway while we were there,--since I love musicals so much I felt more than a little cheated on that note :( We didn't go just because my brother hates musicals with a passion -_-' Very disappointing I must say. Oh and (this should be obvious) definitely don't drive at all there. Either walk if it's less than a mile or take a cab wherever. And if you take a cab to Central Park they usually won't actually go all the way there on a weekend since it's so crowded :P
