Boggart

A Boggart is a creature that has the ability to transform into its victims worst fear. It's weakness is the word "ridiculos" and the person saying the word must think of a way to make the Boggart look funny. It gains 40% of the victims worst fears ability and often increases size by a good amount. No one knows what it really looks like because who ever sees it before they can of course sees their worst fear. Once transformed by "ridiculous" the Boggart will disapear and pop up somewhere else. No way of killing it is certain.

In Celtic mythology, a boggart (or ''bogan'', ''bogle'' or ''boggle'') is a household spirit, sometimes mischievous, sometimes helpful. In Northern England, at least, there was the belief that the boggart should never be named, as when the boggart was given a name, it would not be reasoned with or persuaded and become uncontrollable and destructive.
