Three hundred foot down...
Three hundred foot down, North-West of Scotland,
Warm water flows in a life-giving band.
Fresh water icebergs melt from the pole,
Reduce its salinity, taking their toll.
It sinks like a stone, down into the deep,
All of this happens, while England’s asleep.
Imagine results as the temperatures rise,
And the life-giving Gulf Stream suddenly dies.
So what? Says a geezer, with his Daily Mail.
There’s no need to panic, England will prevail!
But sadly my son, that’s not how it goes,
Siberia freezes, a howling wind blows.
Just draw a straight line, you’ll suddenly see,
Our dear little islands as far northerly.
We depend on the Gulf Stream, to keep us alive.
Americans don’t. Guess who’s going to survive?
There’s far more at stake than first meets the eye.
Cut down world pollution or England, bye-bye!!
