First one:
I don't know the name of these flowers so I am not sure what to name her yet.
So far I am decently happy with it. The gun will change. Currently it is FAR to small. Poor Ada, being stuck with a little pea-shooter. XP
So far my idea's for coloring is monochromatic browns so that it has more of an yin yang quality.
people seem to really like her, probably because she is one of the few pictures I have done that attempt realism. If I color her I plan to do it in blues and yellow. Specifically, her being yellow and the background being blue.
This one I am very proud of my idea behind. And no, it's not upside down. The idea is imagine a reflection in water having actual form, now imagine being in the water with it looking up through the surface. I mentioned I like mirror pictures. XD As per usual there has to be intentional differences somewhere, in this case it's the key blades. I see the separation as being sort of a night and day. So the keyblade on top is more of a day keyblade and the underwater keyblade is more of my night keyblade.
There will be ripples on the top of the water and the idea for coloring will be complimentary colors. Orange vs Blue.
Ps. This is the second drawing with that attempt at a signature. I probably will sign it normally after I color it in photoshop.
This one is going to take a while to finish. This is VERY much in the making of stage. The background isn't even close to being finished. So far you can see how I set up a lot of my backgrounds (LOTs of grids and an overuse of geometry).
I plan to have a fountain in the center and different types of plants behind the bars. By this I am hoping to give it a simulated arch feel that will parallel a lot of older works. (older works back during the renaissance focused on the ideas of dividing the canvas into threes. In this case the separate parts will be plants-person- plants. )
Currently I am looking at a lot of old fountains to get an idea of what type it should be. Whatever it is it's going to be large and probably multi-layered. I am also trying to figure out if she should be looking at rain (my first idea, just releasing yourself into the nature and purity of rain) or something else.
Plans for colors. Mainly green with purple shadows.
