Morgan and Joss were lead into the room by Kurtis Smith.

Kurt walked in after the two students and made a gesture about that room. "Well here's where all the real magic happens." He grinned

Morgan's eyes wandered, "Not bad..."

"Not bad? Not bad???" Kurt asked looking at her astonishingly. "This is some of the finest equipment you'll find in the entire state. I've even managed to get my hands on some top of the line Shi'ar technology for some of the better things."
"Honey, stop gloating." Delaney said entering the room. She sat down at the sound station. "You want to record this or just tune in the acoustic augmenter and echo buffers?"

As Del talked with Mr. Smith, Morgan looked up at the large amps, "Woa...look at that, Joss."

"What is it?" Joss whispered quietly. He didn't want to seem comletely ignorant."

Del chuckeled softly at Joss comment. She'd asked the sme thing the first tiem she saw the huge amps. She hadn't known they where made in that size.

"Those are the amps. But not really the best ones we have in here." Kurt replied with a grin. He turned to Morgan and held out his hands. "If you don't mind, I'll plug your guitar in and show you the best system in here." He winked at Del, "Honey, you haven't even seen it yet. Hank and I just got them up and running last week."

"Oh hell yea!" Morgan handed him the guitar but coughed a bit, "I-I mean heck...heck yea." she corrected, forgetting he was a teacher.

Kurt chuckled and gave Morgan a little wink. "This room is sound proof. No worries about language in here." He walked over to the wall and pressed a command code into the wall tablet. He plugged the guitar into the port and took a step back. "Here we go." He looked over at Morgan as the wall split down the middle with a hiss and seperated

"What the?" Morgan asked as the walls split apart. "This just adds to the fact that this place just isn't the norm. I wonder who the hell funds this place."

Kurt just smiled as the enormous wall amp became visible. "It's Shi'ar technology. You won't find a louder amp anywhere in the world."

Morgan's mouth watered as she starred at the amp. "It's...beautiful. A gift from the heavens!!"

"I guess you could say that. It beings alien technology and all that." Kurt said with a grin. He was about to pluck a string and then looked at Joss. "This is going to be pretty loud in here, Joss. I'd hate for you to miss this, but with your sensitive hearing you may not want to be around when we use it."

"Come with me Joss." Del said as she went into the sound room. "I can regulate the volume in here."

"Alright." Joss said and followed Mis. Smith.

Morgan's eyes were on her guitar that was still in Kurt's hands. She wanted to play it badly.

As soon as Joss and Del were safely inside the sound room, Kurt gestured to Morgan. "Well come on, show me what you've got." He held the guitar out to her with a grin on his face.

Morgan quickly took the guitar from him and followed behind him. "This is awesome...I've never seen such equipment."

Kurt took a seat and looked at her. "Well, show me what you've got."

Morgan stroked each string by itself and adjusted two of the strings. "Hope you're a classics fan..." She smirked confidentially and started to play "Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce. She quickly skipped to the solo. She hit every single note perfectly and even through in extras for the hell of it. The intense streams of music filled the room and almost didn't even sound like a guitar. Morgan's head banged forwards and back as she got into her music more. Suddenly a string broke. Morgan tried to ignore it and play on but just then...another broke. Her fingers went quicker as she played to try and hurry through the solo. But before she could finish, the remaining four broke.

Kurt whistled and stood up. "Wow. I've never seen anyone break all the strings."

"Heh...it happens a lot." Morgan replied, "I tried not to for you so that I could finish the solo....but I guess not." she smiled.

Kurt walked over and smiled. "Mind if I take a look? I may be able to help you out with that small problem."

"Really?" Morgan asked, unplugging the guitar and handing it over.

Kurt took the guitar and looked closely at the strings. "Wow, you scorched them pretty good....what your problem is, is that you're working with inferior cords here." He looked at her and winked. "Come with me." He turned and walked over tot he large supply cabinet, unlocking it with the key he made from the door's shadow, he opened the door and lead her inside.

"Inferior?" Morgan replied as she followed, "They aren't that bad, are they?"

"Nonsense. They're fine cords really. But for someone with your special talents, special cords should be used." Kurt replied, opening a drawer and removing a pack with a large number 4 emblazened with a circle, printed on the bag. "These are special order." He handed her the pack with a gentle smile. "String these up and we'll see how they work for you."

Morgan opened the pack of new strings. She quickly removed the broken strings her guitar. "My hands are all callused from doing this so often..." she pointed out as she started to restring. "And uhh...what's so special about'em?" she asked, looking at the fantastic four label on the box.

"Do you know the symbol? Take a look around this supply closet. Nearly ever instrumental piece of equipment wears that symbol on it's box or bag. Do you know why?" Kurt asked her with a grin of achievement.

"Um...it's from the same company?" Morgan asked, not getting what his point was.

"That's the symbol for the Fantastic Four. Reed Richards helped me to develope all of these parts. So together we could bring music to all the world, quite literally too." Kurt said with a smile. "Imagine it, if you will. A young mutant boy who has the ability of fire creation, but he doesn't know how to control it yet. So he's trapped in fire form. All he's ever wanted to do was play the trumpet but he can't even touch one without it melting. Dr. Richards has helped me to develope specially treated instrument parts int he same manner of our X-men Uniforms." He scratched the back of his head. "Then again you wouldn't know about the uniforms, now would you..." He sighed and shakes his head, waving a hand in front of it. "Whatever, just string it up, and plug in."

Morgan quickly finished stringing her guitar. "Uniforms? I didn't know this place required uniforms." She plugged back in. She strummed a few cords lightly to make sure it was in tune.

Kurt closed the door and it locked automatically. He went and sat down again and smiled at her. "It doesn't. You have to earn them."

"Earn them? I always hated uniforms. I don't really look good in vests." Morgan explained.

Kurt chuckled. "You're pictureing school uniforms. These are of a differnet sort."

"What other uniforms would you wear at school...other then school uniforms?" Morgan asked.

"You'll see in time." Kurt replied, knowing it wasn't much of an answer

"Uh...huh." Morgan said before suddenly busting out on her guitar.

Kurt sat back and smiled

Morgan wondered why this teacher was so confident. She strummed harder and faster, testing the strings....but they didnt snap.

"Can you go faster, Morgan?" Kurt asked her curiously

Morgan grinned and went faster, head banging her head with a beat. It was almost hard to comprehend each note individually. The sound emitted all seemed to be together into one continuing chord.

Kurt smiled and made a set of shadow earplugs for himself as he cranked up the volume on the wall amp. He grinned as the room started to vibrate, this was the perfect test for the new system

Morgan fell to her knees and leaned back as she played harder and faster. Guitar was the one thing that she was a pro at. It was her guitar abilities that made her survive on her own all these years. Playing on the side of the road, in bars and at shows gave her enough cash to live off of.

Kurt was on the edge of his seat, even his shadow earplugs weren't blocking out the insane volume of this system he built. He was both impressed by the sound system and by her outrageous playing. Not to mention how well the strings were holding up. He couldn't wait to find out her reaction to the strings.

By this time, Morgan was starting to admit that these string were good. She stroked harder and faster still, almost determined to break them.

Kurt lowered the speakers. He figured they could handle it now, but her ear drums would give first. He removed his earplugs after lowering it and continued to watch her play. He couldn't even see her fingers now. This was incredible

She leaned back as she still was kneeling. Morgan's head touched the ground behind her as the guitar rested on her stomach. She brought her fingers closer to the base of the guitar for a more high pitched and stronger solo. "Snap!" she called out, wanting the strings to give.

Kurt stood up and applauded her, a huge grin on his face. "They won't snap though, will they?"

Morgan moved her legs up so that she was completely flat on the ground after she stopped playing, "No..." One could see that the strings were unhurt, but were steaming a bit from all the friction.

Kurt smiled and offered her a hand up. "Good. All three pass my test."

Morgan grabbed his hand, "All three? Wait....this was a test?!"

"Of sorts." Kurt said, keeping his unique mysterious tone. He smiled and explained. "This was the test run for the wall amp. And those are the firrst of the guitar strings from Dr. Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four. I needed to get those tested to see if they could hold up under extreme circumstances. And then it came down to you. I wanted to see just what you could do. Because I am looking for a guitarist."

"Oh really? You're in a band or something?" Morgan asked, scratching at her chin dramatically.

"I kind of need a band if I really want to make it ont he music scene." Kurt replied. "I'm a singer and song writer. I play the guitar as well, but some of my songs I can't play nearly as well as I want."

"Really? I do vocals too, but I don't write my own stuff. I'm not so good at that stuff. I'm more into rock and metal music. It bugs me when I tell people that I sing, they assume that I'm soprano and I sing little girly-fairy song. Gah! I can't stand it!" Morgan explained. One could tell just from looking at her, that she was a tom-boy. "I've had to live on the money I've made performing all my life."

"Well I've got a song in mind that would fit your unique guitar skills perfectly, but if you could sing it at the same time, that would be even better." Kurt explained with a sly smile. He was slowly recruiting the perfect band for the songs he wrote, maybe just maybe, this time he'd have the right edge he'd need to make it on the music scene

"Alright, let's see!" Morgan replied with a sure smile. She has total confidence in both her guitar and singing abilities.

"Well that's the thing. It isn't quite finished yet." Kurt replied with a sheepish grin

"That's alright. Your just testing out my voice, right?" Morgan assured with a smirk. "Did you want Joss to try singing too? I have a hunch that he might be good at singing....given his vocal cords and perfect pitch-seeking ears. Bad thing is that he really hasn't heard any music whatsoever. I could lead and assist him with the song, unless you want me to go first separate."

"Everyone's heard some kind of music. Joss just hasn't heard what I'm trying to do. That I can be sure of. You could work with him on it, if I think you're good enough." Kurt said with a wink. So far this girl had surpassed his thoughts on her abilities. He had little doubt that she wouldn't be able to sing the song. He really wished he could finish it though. "Tell you what. Since I approve of your guitarist abilities. Why don't I give you what I have so far on the song, and you give me a hand on the rest of it? I have all the lyrics and a place for a guitar solo. So what I need is the solo, and a lil here and there music wise. What do you think?"

"No problem." Morgan replied, "It's easy to come up with music to fit words. It's coming up with the lyrics that I'm not so good at." She grinned and played a little chord, "Solo? I'm all over it! Heh...when you first told me to come in here, I thought it was going to be some typical band room with trumpets, ugly uniforms and crap."

Kurt chuckled and shrugged. "I think we do have one come to think of it." He scratched his chin and looked around. "Or at least we could make one."

"A uniform? Like...with the big furry hats?" Morgan asked, "Hell no...you can find yourself a different guitarist."

"I was thinking more along the lines of the sleeker cooler uniforms that you get to have upon graduating." Kurt said with a grin

"You mean....the 'X-men uniforms'?" Morgan asked. She wasn't from around here and didn't see things like this everyday. "I've heard about the whole X-men thing. Sounds like fun.....it's another reason I came here."

"Oh the X-men thing as you put it is truly amazing." Kurt replied with a grin

"Would be so fun to just...beat people up, you know?" Morgan coughed a bit, "Bad people, I mean." She couldn't let anyone know that she really was a thief and stole all her life...they might treat her differently.

Kurt chuckled. "You can relax about the thief past. We've got a couple of those here."

Morgan nearly choked on her own spit and gasped, "What?"

Kurt tapped his temple. "I'm telepathic."

"Damn! Every teacher here is!" Morgan said, gripping her own head, "That's just rude..."

Kurt laughed and shook his head. "I'd hardly say we all are. It's myself and Emma, unless someone snuck in." He said with an arched eyebrow

"Go figure...the only two I've really met before." Morgan rolled her eyes. "Umm...can they still hear us? Joss and that other teacher?"

"You mean the boy you have a crush on and my wife?" Kurt replied with a grin. "This room is sound proof, but since the side room there is connected, it's really not. But you couldn't really have the wall amp be going full blast and not have your sound guy be able to concentrate. You can mute it in there. So they may not be able to hear, or they may be listening right now. Depends on them really."

Morgan raised her pierced brow and gave him a look. She placed a hand on her hip and pointed the other at him, "You did that on purpose..." Morgan wasn't a person to get embarrassed or shy about her crush finding out that she liked them. Either they would like her back or they wouldn't. It would at least let her know to either keep trying to hook them in or not.

Kurt grinned. "Of course I did. Did you really think I forgot they were right there?"

"Uh huh...Well," Morgan began, "How much do I owe for the strings then?"

"You don't owe anything. Technically, I can mark it down as field testing." Kurt said with a wink. "Everything in that back cabinet has yet to be tested to the fullest potential of their use, so if one of those strings breaks, then we'll have a bit of a problem."

"Guess I'll save money on strings with these." Morgan said, strumming them slightly. "So...about these lyrics?"

"Oh right. They're in my office." Kurt replied, standing up and walking over to the door

Morgan waited, playing her guitar as she did. She was wondering how Joss was reacting to their conversation....if he was at all that is. Although questions raced in her mind, she kept a natural face.

Arthur stepped into the concert room, quickly followed by Crys. He blinked at Morgan playing the guitar, he hadn't heard anything outside the room. He waved at her, slightly embarresed since he knew she and crys didn't exactly get on.

Delaney saw arther and Crys come in. She opened the intercom "Come in here guys." She told them

Morgan kept playing, she nodded to Arthur when he waved. After a moment, she glanced back at Mr. Smith's door.

Arthur saw the massive amps and heard the voice of Delaney's voice over the intercom. Worried that it was going to get louder quickly Arthur grabbed Crys' hand and led her into the booth that Del was sitting in.

Crys let out a quick meep as Arthur yanked her into the sound boof.

Kurt walked out of his office holding a few sheets of paper and a cd. He walked them over to Morgan. "Here's the sheet music and lyrics that I've got right now, and here's the music I have so far."

"Can we listen to it now?" Morgan asked. She was very excited that a teacher here actually took interest into her 'non-mutant' talent.

"I dont see why not." Kurt replied with a shrug

"Where do we stick this baby in?" she asked, taking it out of it's case. "Oh....and can they come out yet?" Morgan smirked.

"Sure they can come out." Kurt replied as he walked voer tot he wall amp and powered it down. He punched int he key code and the walls returned to noral

"Feels like the MIB headquarters..." Morgan said, watching the walls return.

"You know, you really should believe everything you see on TV. It's just easier that way." Kurt told her as he walked over tot he sound booth. He knocked ont he door twice.

Arthur opened the door for him since they were both already in the booth. He smiled nervously at Kurt "Hey..." he said.

"Is this the one you haven' let me hear yet?" Delaney asked craining her head around pass arthur.

"One of them." Kurt said with a grin. "This is the special project that I couldn't exactly do on my own."

Arthur was confused, very confused "What project?" he asked, unsure what they were going on about.

"Did you need something Arthur? Crys?" Kurt asked curiously. They weren't here just a few minutes ago. They must have walked in when he was in his office

Arthur raised an eyebrow at Kurt knowing they're names but decided not to question it "We.. uhh... came in here to look at the instruments... maybe play a few." he admitted, rendness rising in his face.

"Oh. Well just don't break anything alright? Feel free to play whatever it is that you normally do. I think you'll find our instruments are the best ones around." Kurt said with a smile.

"I'll try not to. But Locks can get kinda... eager." Arthur said, rubbing his head and walking out the room. He spotted the nearest drum kit which was right behind Morgan and sidled up to it, embarrassed that he was intruding on her practice time. "Just ignore me" he mumbled to her as he passed.

"Don't sweat it." Morgan replied. She glanced back to the room Joss was in, wondering if he liked her playing or if he heard....other things.

Arthur stood staring at a huge set of drumd before him, he'd never seen a set that big. He was sure it was a custom set, but that thought was interupted by Locks yanking him off his feet and towards another set nearby. "What are you?" he asked before Locks started picking up several of the drums and put them at the back of the first set, creating an entire ring of drums.

Joss saw Morgan looking at him. He didn't know if saying anything could be heard threw the glass so he raised his thumb to her and smiled.
Del opened the mike and asked kurt "Want me to play that disk now hun?"

Morgan smirked. It was kinda cool that an amish guy who has nearly no experience with music liked her playing. "Whoo...alright, let's do it. Want me to listen first? Or play when the words come on?"

Kurt smiled and nodded. "Yeah hon, play it would you?" He turned to morgan. "You've got the sheet music so far, so when the time comes, jump in. Ok?"
Del activated teh dixk and adjusted the sound levels.

Morgan skimmed the words as quickly as she could beofre the words played.

Kurt sat back down as the song began. He was eager to know if Morgan could fill that empty place in the song. Give it that nice sound he was searching for

As the lyrics picked up, Morgan bobbed her head and figured out the beat that rhythm. She started to improvise and play. She kept a decent tune, not trying to steal away from the lyrics.

Arthur was nodding slowly along with the beat of the music. It took him a few seconds to notice that both he and Locks were drumming slowly, trying to keep as quiet as they could while they practiced the beat.

Getting an idea of what he wanted, Morgan played the chorus that she had waited for. From the beginning, she knew of a way to play it out perfectly.

Arthur couldn't contain himself when the chorus hit, starting to pound out a beat on his drums. His powers, aka Locks, made his beat even better than the recorded one.

Kurt sat foraward as Arthur and Locks started to drum along. "Incredible..."

Hummm... Del thought while listening to Morgan play I think he found his guitarist...

I think so too. Kurt told her telepathically, flashing a picture of a grin into her mind. I think I've found a drummer too. Start recording Arthur.

Del nodded watching Arthur too.

Crys leaned forawrd int he chair as Arthur and Morgan started playing the song. "They sound really good, Mrs. Smith."

Arthur let out a laugh, he bounced a drum stick off the tight skin of the furthest drum which made it bounce up and hit the cymbal before rolling away. As soon as the stick had left his hand though Locks had tossed another one over his head, Arthur snatching it out the air immediatley.

As the lyrics stopped, Morgan grinned and shouted, "Whoo!! Solo!!" She jumped up and jammed harder. The solo was incredible and swift. It was something that practically forced you to bob your head. Morgan shook her butt from side to side with the beat of hte drums as well.

Arthur let her have her solo as he panted gently, watching her play the guitar as he wiped away the sweat on his head. He was smiling widely, he hadn't had a good drum solo in ages.

Kurt smiled as Morgan played out the solo. She was perfect

Just cause she was really into it, Morgan swung her arm around in a circle as she played. At the end of the solo, she jumped high and landed, doing the splits at the last strum! "Thank you New York! Good night!"

Just then Del hit the applause track and the sounds of a very large crowd applauding echoed into the room.

Thinking it was Joss for a moment, Morgan turned sharply at the box they were in. In a way, she was showing off for him only. When she realized that it was a recording, she laughed, scratching the back of her head.

Joss was clapping though and smiling broadly.

Morgan couldn't help but smile. She was very pleased hat he liked her work. "Umm....ow" she said, getting up from her splits. "Haven't done that in a while."

Arthur let out a little laugh "That was the BEST thing I've done in a long while."

Morgan reaches behind her and grabs a hold of her foot. She moves it up on top of her head. "Ahh...that feels better." She repeated this with the other legs. When one lives on the streets all there life, you find extra time on your hands to practice things like this.

Arthur laughed and watched her, tilting his heaed to the side slightly Wish I could have had a solo... he thought, trying not to be bitter.

"How'd I do?" Morgan looked towards her teacher. She turned her guitar around and rested it on her shoulder like a bat.

"Absolutely perfect! Both of you!" Kurt said, standing up and clapping for them. He wore a grin that stretched from ear to ear.

"Sweet." Morgan smirked when she finished her stretches. "Thanks again for the strings too."

Arthur turned slightly red "Sorry about that... I couldn't control myself" he mumbled, Locks was running a few tendrils over a cymbal like he was drumming his fingers on a desk.

"You will not apologize for that Arthur. Not in here." Kurt said, walking forward and clasping the boy's hand firmly. "I've got you record you know, if you'd like to hear what i was hearing."

Morgan yawned a bit as she held the guitar as a bat. She looked over to the teacher, "Now what?"

"Would you like to listen to yourselves?" Kurt asked, directing the question toward Morgan this time

"Eh...I know how I sound." Morgan replied, picking an eyelash out of her eye and wiping it on her shorts. "But if you wanna, go ahead."

Arthur laughed gently "Yeah, ok. I mean, we've heard ourselves before but we haven't really heard what we're like in a band."

"That settles that." Kurt said and ushered them to the sound proof. "Del, honey, whgy don't you play that back for the performers?"

Morgan was the first to be led in. She walked over between Crys and Joss.

Arthur walked in happily, smiling at Crys as he did.

Crys gave him a thumbs up as he walked in

Del put on a set of headphones and said "Let me mix this first." She played back the tract and took a few minuets adjusting a variety of knobs. When she was finished she played it back so the ret of them could hear it.

As if I needed fixing..., Morgan thought to herself. One of her better points was that she was very confident in what she did. Although this could also tend to be a flaw that lead her to be somewhat cocky.

Crys thought they had sounded great before, but after Mrs. Smith had finished mixing the tracckc, it was even better! She couldn't bvelieve it

Kurt smiled as the mix played back, Del had mixed it over the track that he had played for them to play along to. Morgan's playing fit perfectly, just as he thought it would, and Arthur's drumming was out of this world!

"So...how much do you need my playing?" Morgan asked. There was a bit of sarcasm in her voice, but she was also somewhat serious. Morgan had lived her entire life scavenging for cash, this was only natural.

Arthur grinned as he listened to himself "We really sound like that? Awesome, we're going to be RICH!"

Kurt grinned and slouched his arms over both their shoulders. "That, my friends, is the general idea." He looked at Morgan. "There's no one else in the world who can play like you, so what do you think?"

"Uhhh....Thirty grand?" Morgan asked, looking up at him hopefully. She was joking this time.

"Sounds reasonable." Kurt agreed with a nod. "But here's the thing. First things first, we need to get this produced and on the music scene before we see any of that cash."

"So...an image?" Morgan asked, "Nothing a little skin won't fix." She winked, confident in her appearance and body.

"You guys are jumping the gun a bit aren't ya?" Del said fiddeling with knobs and buttons on the soundboard. She was playing back the tract and isolating sounds. "You guys are great but this is what I hear when it's played back." What she played for them was a host of miss beats, bad cords and double drumb beats where none should have been. It all played overtop the intial tract that Kurt had laid down for the base. "Playing on the road or in your parent's basement can't cut it. You guys need a strict practicing regimine inorder to define your music. If your targeting a mutant audience it has to be perfect. Normal humans don't hear it but metahumans, ferals and mutants with sonic hearing, hell even ones who can feel vibrations and sound waves can hear this and they aren't gonna want to buy it."

Morgan looked at Joss, "Does it sound bad to you?" she asked. Morgan knew that he probably wasn't the best person to ask about a music critic, but she asked anyways.

Arthur winced gently at the double beats that he had done "Ok, rich later. Practise now." He streached his arms out, his fingers interlocked so they popped loudly "I mean, It's not like I've got any other way to practise my powers." Locks was tapping against Arthur's back gently, clearly annoyed that he had been shown to be not perfect.

"It's called being optomistic, love." Kurt told Del with a smirk on his face. "Anyway, are you two in or what?"

"I thought it sounded great." Joss said "But then again I;m not exactly the best person to ask."

"You could have suckered me into playing for peanuts before" Arthur said, then he smiled "Lucky I heard what we sounded like before you asked. Im in."

"No sweat." Morgan told Mr. Smith, "Never heard of a rock band through school. I hate trumpets..."

Kurt smiled widely. "We're no ordinary school, Morgan." He winked at her. "Try to remember that while you're here. It helps."

"Speaking of out of the ordinary..." Del said rising from her seat "We have happy news to spread around."

"Like what?" Morgan spoke out, looking now at Del.

"Oh right! How did I forget that???" Kurt asked her curiously as he drew her into a warm embrace. "Do you want to tell them?"

Arthur frowned gently "Hmmmm... You're getting married?" he thought for a second "No wait, you already are..."

"They are gonna find out eventualy." DEl said "We're having a baby!"

Arthur let out a loud laugh and began clapping, Locks going along with him so it sounded like a wind chime falling down a hill.

"Congradulations!" Joss said happily, wondering if Arthur and Lock's laughing was genuine or sarcastic.

"Alright! That's awesome guys!" Morgan said, offering her knuckles to be pounded onto.

Kurt chuckled and pounded Morgan's knuckles.

"I saw a purple teacher with an egg outside earlier...tis the season for babies?" Morgan hypothesized, "If you don't mind, I would like to chill a bit from guitar."

Arthur looked whistfully at the drums, he wanted to do his own solo "I dont mind what we do" he said, lying slightly "Do you want some time to set up some stuff..?"

"Feel free to use the equipment in here any time you feel the need. I just ask that if you want to use the Wall Amp, you come and find me alright? It can be a rather dangerous piece of machinery and shouldn't be used lightly." Kurt explained to Morgan and he looked at Arthur. "I'll try to write something up for you too, it would be a damn shame not to use that talent of your's with a solo."

Arthur smiled with pride, Locks bristled and stuck out a hair hand with it's tentacle raised where the thumb should be "Thanks, I'll practice alot I promise."

"Kay." Morgan swinging her guitar up and onto her shoulder like a bat. Her stomach started to grumble a bit. Grabbing it, Morgan said, "Oops...guess I'm hungry."

Kurt grinned, "Well why don't you go grab a bite to eat?"

"Yes sir." Morgan saluted jokingly. Turning to Joss who had been quite most of this ordeal, she asked, "You hungry?"

"Famished." Joss says with a smile.

"Alright!" Morgan grinned. She looked up at Kurt, "Thanks again...I'll see you soon, ok?" Her attention shifted to both Crys and Arthur, "If you guys wanna come too...we'll meet you there." She glanced at Arthur's hair, "You can come too....umm....hair?"

Arthur rubbed his stomach "Im a bit hungry... and his name's Locks." He looked up at his own thick tendrils "I think I owe Crys a banana and peanut butter sandwhich sandwhich anyway."

"Ok. Let's go!" Morgan said, turning to Joss. Unknowingly, she grabbed his hand and quickly pulled him out the door and into the main dining hall. She let her stomach take control and her feet did the rest.

Arthur followed her eagerly, the drumming practice had taken a bit out of him.

Crys was pulled off by a stray tendril of Locks as Morgan dragged Arthur to the dining hall

The following week had been relatively quiet. Kurt and Delaney Smith had left to enjoy the final two months of Del’s pregnancy. Their classes had been split up between Laura and Logan, much to the dismay of the students. Morgan and Crys hadn’t been fighting simply because Morgan was no longer at the school. Her astringed father had returned to claim custody of her. Joss had only remained at the school for a few hours after her departure. He had left without so much as a word. Emma had been trying to find him using Cerebra for days now. She was having absolutely no luck.

Arthur looked around nervously, then not seeing anyone there at the moment he darted into the room and closed the door quietly. He'd come in for some early morning drum practise, and he'd asked Crys if she wanted to come but he didn't know if she was going to.

Crys walked in with a yawna nd a stretch of her arms. "Mornin guys!" She said with a smile.

Arthur grinned, and by the way Locks perked up you could tell he was happy to see crys as well "Morning Crys. Sleep well?"

"Yeah I guess. It's a little lonely in my room now though...can't believe I'm saying this but I do miss Morgan." Crys told him honestly

Arthur sighed and nodded "I bet you're missing the puppy faced bat as well." He went over and kissed her forehead "He'll bring her back."

"Of course I miss Joss too. He is my friend afterall." Crys said, blushing madly as he kissed her forehead

Hugging her tight for a second, Arthur smiled softly to himself. He then pulled away and went over to a drumset in the middle of the room "ready?"

"Should I get some ear plugs first?" Crys asked him curiously with a smirk

"Well it's never done any... serious damage to my ears." Arthur said, smiling nervously and pushing Locks out of his eyes.

"Yeah well the last time you played, they heard you through the entire school." Crys said with a grin

Arthur stuck his tongue out at her and Locks smacked his jaw gently. Grumbling lightly Arthur grabbed his sticks "Im sure you could go into the sound proof booth if you wanted."

"But then I wouldn't hear you, now would I?" Crys asked him with another smirk.

"There's some headphones in there that you can listen through" Arthur said, grinning at her as Locks waved her goodbye.

"Fair enough." Crys said with a shrug. She smiled and made her way into the sound booth. She plugged the headphones in and fixed them onto her head.

Arthur chuckled and looked over at Crys. Locks began to beat down on the tight drum skins quickly, beating out a quick rythem before Arthur caught up and started to drum himself.

Crys smiled as they started to play. They really were quite incredible on the drums

Arthur kept up a his drum solo for five minutes, before he began to thud loudly away at the set. It almost sounded like a war march, loud bangs and marching drums filling Crys' ears.

Crys watched him play with eager enthusiasm

After what bordered on eternity for Arthur, but was really nearer to a quarter of an hour of hard banging, Arthur and Locks both stopped with a final explosive boom.

Running out of the sound booth, Crys was smiling and clapping her hands. "AWESOME!"

Arthur laughed and stroked his arms carefully, he ached lightly "I missed a couple of beats, I need improving."

"But you only missed a few!" Crys said cheerfully, giving him a thumbs up. "Still kick ass!"

Arthur blushed and Locks waved his tentacles happily in the air. "Without Morgan I'm useless anyway."

"Pssht. She plays a little too fast. The computers couldn't even keep up with her." Crys told him with a sneer

"I still need a guitarist ontop of my drums.." Arthur pointed out, Locks swaying limply.

"I'm sure there's someone in a video game who can play well." Crys told him with a wink

"Make it Johny Napalm, if it's any of the girls I might just be tempted" Arthur laughed, bumping his hip against Crys gently.

Crys giggled when he bumped her. "I was thinking something a little closer to me. My other system is up in the room. I keep the gameboy on me, silly. There's muscians in most adventure games, it's just a matter of finding the best one."

"Maybe you can get Zora Link from Majora's Mask. He plays... a kind of guitar" Arthur said, thinking about the amazing talents those little green clothed men had.

Crys smiled wide and blushed a little as Arthur suggested she bring out Link. She had no problem whatsoever with summoning her absolute favorite character of all time

Arthur knew Link was her favourite. Hell, even he liked Link. "What's with the blush?" he laughed, trying to make her uncomfortable.

"Nu...nothing..." Crys stammered, trying to not picture the dance in her head

Arthur stared at the floor and made a circle with his foot "Alright. If you dont want to tell me you dont have to."

"What do you need a guitarist for right now anyway?" Crys said, looking at him with a smile on her face. He was so cute when he was getting jealous?

"Dont need one, it'd just be handy... and cool to play with Link" Arthur chuckled. "Comeon, you cant tell me you wouldn't want a band with Link and your boyfriend in?"

"I didn't say that either." Crys said

"You were thinking it" Arthur chuckled, poking his tongue out at her.

"Maybe...." Crys replied, sneering at him. She crossed her arms and stuck out her tongue as well

Arthur lunged forward and kissed the tip of her tongue lightly. He laughed and danced away, Locks making odd movements that may mean he wants to strangle Arthur.

Crys blushed deeply and sucked her tongue back inside of her mouth, mkaing a little meep noise

There was an "ACK!" as Arthur was tripped over by Locks and sent sprawling into a pile of cymbals.

"Are you ok????" Crys asked, running over to him

"Ow ow ow ow ow" Arthur said over and over as Locks raised him out of the pile and back onto his feet.

"What the heck happened??" Crys asked him as she wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug.

"Locks tripped me" Arthur pouted at Crys, a red patch where he had hit the floor "He's being a jerk cause I teased you..."

Crys giggled quietly. "That's cute though."

Arthur laughed nervously and looked at the floor "I try to be.." he mumbled.

Crys smiled. "Good job?"

Locks raised two tentacles up in the air, curving them into a heart shape before lowering it in front of Arthur, framing his face. Arthur saw the movement, let out an embarresed "meep!" and began to bat at the tentacles.

Crys let out a stiffled giggle and smiled at Arthur

Arthur blushed and shuffled his feet "Do you want to try out anything else in here?" he asked, looking around at the instruments.

"Oh well...I don't really play any instruments other than the guitar hero guitar or the rock band drums and stuff like that. I don't play real ones." Crys told him, shuffling her own feet

Arthur thought for a moment "You could try the piano. Pressing the buttons on Guitar hero sort of trains you for finger speed."

Crys batted her eyelashes at him and gave him a devious smirk. "A lot of things train your finger speed."

"I happen to have hands the speed of light" Arthur said before poking her forehead "So you want to try the piano?"

Crys blushed deeply, thinking about those hands the speed of light. She giggled when Arthur poked her forehead

Locks began to wave his own tentacles around like little wind fans, a blurr in the air and blowing Crys with a sudden amazing gust of wind. Arthur laughed "I think he's saying he's quick too."

Crys giggled. "I'm sure he is!"

Locks calmed down and curled up embarresed. "So... you want to do anything else?" Arthur asked.

"I dunno..." Crys said quietly, stilling thinking of the light speed hands

Arthur blinked and stared at her "You ok Crys? You seem kinda spaced..."

"Huh?" Crys asked snapping back to reality

"What were you thinking of?" Arthur asked quizzikly. She'd seemed very concentrated on something, and she'd had a strange smile on her face.

"Nothing......" Crys said, blushing deeply

"Comeon, you can tell me..." Arthur said, going over to her side and hugging her gently one armed.

"Meep!" Crys exclaimed as he hugged her from the side.

"You're kinda red Crys... you feeling dizzy? Maybe I shouldn't have asked you to wake up so early..." Arthur said, slightly worried as he squeezed her gently.

"No...I'm fine..." Crys muttered, stillibng trying to shake the idea out of her head

Arthur softly kissed her head "Ok." He smiled at her gently "Are you lonely at night? You know, with Morgan not being there."

"She wasn't much of a room mate, but now I've got that big room and yeah it's kinda lonely." Crys said, nodding

"Want me to sleep over tonight? We could play games and stuff.." Arthur said. Only locks gave him away, he was tied in knots behind Arthur in nerves.

Crys blushed madly at the thought of Arthur spending the night in her room. "I...I don't think Ms. Frost would like that idea very much..."

"Then we wont tell her. And by the time she notices I'd have happened.." Arthur said, nodding firmly. Locks was so tightly wound that he'd turned himself into a bun.

Crys looked at him curiously. "She's telepathic!"

"So? She shouldn't be in our heads all day, and what's she gonna do? Force us not to be boy friend and girlfriend?" Arthur said.

"You think she's got something better to do than just listen in to our heads all day?" Crys asked him with a smirk

"Ummmmm.... spying on people? Thinking of plans? Actually looking after the school?" Arthur sighed "ok, I wont come over tonight then.."

"I didn't say you shouldn't." Crys said with a grin. "Who's to say that you didn't just fall asleep playing the games? Hmm?"

Arthur smiled and kissed Crys' cheek "Maybe I should bring my Wii over and I could show you my lightening hands again."

Crys blushed deeply. "I still don't see how you managed to beat me in my Mortal Kombat game..."

"Luck, and the fact Im very good at mortal kombat. Any other game and I'll bet you beat me." Arthur laughed softly.

"You're on!" Crys shouted at the top of her lungs, jabbing a finger in his chest competively. She giggled. "Come on, Artie. Let's go do something. We've got like all day."

Arthur laughed and grabbed her hand quickly, pulling it up to his mouth and kissing it lightly. "You want to go in for food?"

Crys blushed deeply as he kissed her hand. She wasn't entirely used to such charming chivalrious acts

Arthur laughed and Locks gently took Crys' hand into his tentacles and held it there, stroking it slowly and letting out a little rattling noise.

Crys smiled softly. "Ummm....I suppose that he's basically doing what you just did?"

"Yeah but he's being a bit creepy about it" Arthur laughed, making Locks drop the hand and tigthen back around Arthur's head to show he was embarresed.

Crys smiled softly. "That's alright."

Arthur winced from the small tentacle in his back, but smiled at Crys "Now what?"

"Ummmm.....pacman?" Crys asked curiously with a shrug. She honestly had no idea what they should do now.

"Alright then" Arthur grinned "Pac-man it is!" He smiled at her and blushed gently, waiting for her to lead the way.

Crys smiled and led Arthur(and Locks) to the recreation room to play on the good old fashioned Pac-Man arcade game.
