Dawn broke as usual around 9 am.
Veronica dragged Kale in from
the danger room3. She had a mischievous grin on her face, everyone else was in the danger room
"Well, now what?"
Kale asked, plopping himself on the couch.
Ver plopped herself down gently on his lap and hooked her arms around his neck. "I dunno. It was just kinda crowded in there, wasn't it?" She smirked and kissed his lips softly. "Besides, we'd have to wait our turn anyway, might as well be comfortable."
Kale's black eyes jerked open when she kissed him. Before he could react, it was over. "V? What was all that for?" he asked, completely blown away that she would be so bold.
Ver smirked and rubbed his cheek softly with her hand. She leaned in close and batted her eyelashes. "I thought it was quite obvious, Kale." She kissed him again, this time making it last a little longer
Kale grabbed her shoulders and pushed her away, "Listen V-, you don't just go kissing people like this for no reason. Things like that have to be only at certain moments with certain people, you know?"
"Don't you dare talk to me like I'm a child, Kale."
Ver retorted coldly. "I know exactly what I'm doing." She looked at him, a little hint of pain in her eyes for him reacting this way. "I like you Kale...I thought I had been bluntly obvious about it...and I kinda thought that you felt the same way..."
He smirked and put a finger under her chin, lifting it upwards to face him directly. "I do, Veronica..."
Kale said honestly. His eyes were gentle and content.
Ver blushed deeply as he called her by her full name. He had never done that before. She was speechless...d
amn him for doing this to her
"You are a very beautiful young woman, V. I've seen you flirt with guys before. I'm just being cautious that you truly want me. I mean...truly want me." Kale said, without flinching whatsoever.
"You are the only one who hasn't doted on me hand and foot from just a simple batting of my eyelashes." Veronica explained. She looked at him seriously. "From the day we met, you've been...I guess immune's the word, to my charms. I've wanted you since then Kale..."
Kale smiled, it was all too true. The hand on her chin moved to cup her soft cheek. His fingers weaved into her lovely hair. He leaned in slowly, more romantically, and kissed her on the lips.
Veronica kissed him back passionately, wrapping her arms around his neck
Kale rested his hands on her hips. As their kiss parted, he leaned back with ha cheeky grin on his face. "Nice try, V."
Ver looked at him curiously, not understanding what he meant
Kale closed his eyes and leaned back on the couch wit his hands behind his head. He had a smug grin on his face. "That was a pathetic kiss if you ask me. You can do better... at least I was expecting you to do better then that."
Veronica glared at him and stuck out her tongue. "I have half a mind to smack you for that one, surfer-boy." She adjusted herself upon his lap, moving closer to him and leaned against his chest as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She planted her lips to his and forced her tongue to invade his mouth as she urged her passion for him to reflect in this kiss
Kale's eyes jerked open when her tongue entered her mouth. Sure that no one else was around, he dove his into her mouth as well. His hands resided on her hips, pulling her in closer. Kale felt something burn in his gut, a lustful ball of fire was aflame in him.

Kale shook a finger, "MM mm..." he broke the kiss and looked around. "Not here, babe."
Her breathing was heavy and her face was flush as Veronica looked at him. She licked her lips sultrily. "Then where?"
Kale blushed too when he saw how red Veronica was herself. "I- err... my room?" He picked her up off of him and set her gently on the floor. Kale led V to Kale's room
