It took several heart-pounding minutes for Anka and Nami to free each other from their bonds, fingers slipping over tight knots repeatedly. At last they stood, both woozy on their feet as they rubbed the feeling back into their hands. "No windows..." Anka muttered as her eyes wandered over the room, to the single door opposite them. She shivered, fingers gripping tightly to her arms. Her flesh burned, from ropes and blades alike. None of the cuts were too deep, luckily, so she hadn't lost much blood, but they stung like hell nonetheless.
"Any idea where we are?" Nami asked quietly as she touched the wound on her head delicately. It throbbed at her touch, another trickle of blood slipping down over her cheek.
"No, but I can guess... It'll be remote, there's not going to be anyone around for miles to help us." Anka said, the room they were in didn't hold much, a few pieces of furniture covered in dusty white cloths, and a few moldy boxes were all that she saw.
She pulled a sheet from an old coffeetable sneezing as dust flew into the air and tore several pieces from it. Anka dropped the larger piece and shook the dust from the smaller ones. "What're you doing?" Nami had a hand over her mouth and nose as dust invaded her sinuses and she began to sneeze.
"Well... figured you'd want to try to clean that up..." Anka turned, holding out the cloth to Nami, "A little dusty but not much choice..."
"Oh!" Nami gratefully took the cloth and pressed it to her head, she looked at the coffee table thoughtfully, "You think... you think maybe we might be able to pull a leg free?"
"Hmmm... maybe." Anka said, she tipped the table upside down and tested the legs, they were a little loose and she forced her weight against it without much luck "Ugh..." She groaned, shoving her shoulder against the leg of the table until at last she heard a splitting crack and tumbled to the ground having ripped one free.
She stood, wielding it like a club and panting from the effort it had taken to free it. The two girls glanced hesitantly at the door before drawing a deep breath and going to it.
