Bläh! I think I finally managed to break my camera. The lens is stuck again after I dropped the camera. But this time I don't seem to be able to get it unstuck.

Nerd-talk about programming:
I'm working on cleaning up Elftown's Javascript now. It will not bring any new features, but it will hopefully make it swifter for to develop things in the future. I've found some minor bugs and will probably replace them with some new ones.
The thing is that I'm rewriting the code to make use of Jquery, which should make the code shorter and possibly with less bugs. It seems like it eventually will lead to shorter code (faster loading times) too, but that is a very tiny difference.
Now I'm off to test every function... A hell of a lot of them are there!

I decided to watch at least one match in the World Cup, and this was a great one. Except for this:
I don't blame the judges though, because it was mostly bad luck to be placed so badly. But cameras and judges at the goals should be no problem in the world cup. 1 minute break in the match is also much better than getting a game destroyed by a judge-miss.

Are you bored of all the normal SciFi shows? Here is something very different. Pioneer One is released directly for downloading:

It's made without expensive special effect and scenery, but instead it focuses on the story. So far, I have to say I like it better than expensive productions like Stargate Universe. And it isn't riddled with pseudo-logic.
And many of these people I'll not see again as they are going home to their home-countries now:

Makes me start to think why I do what I do. The idea is to connect people that wouldn't have met otherwise. But not only that; I also want to create a place that is more just, sane and fun than the rest of the world. Maybe not turning the rest of the world into Elftown, but making the rest of the world improve in Elftown's direction (well, except the crashes...) . The dream that my users can empower themselves thanks to the connections they have found here. If there are totally different ways to connect us, I hope to get to that too. If I just could build maglev-trains in vacuum tunnels, that would surely be my favourite thing to do.
So... I guess I should get going before I die of cancer or more likely in some alcohol related problem. But Ozzy is still alive (Sort of) so...
