1) the pictures hahahah "This is my pose to the left... and this is my pose to the right."

2) The top two defining things about me are: I like Marilyn Manson, and I like Rammstein.

3) "I dont believe the friendship between man and woman, girl and boy!" This is unnatural in the eyes of god...?

4) "What i believe about love...Shoot myself to love you,if i love myself i will shoot you!!!" There is even an explanation which follows this sentence and I still don't know what the fuck he is talking about.

5) He's a really big fan of someone called Deathstars? And he is very touchy about it apparently... "U don't like them??? I N M Y D ! C K" In his dick, he says! IN IT!

6) His DISLIKES include: beans... and jews... >.>

7) At the end of the profile, he has an uplifting message... or is it a threat???
"FEEL LIKE A DEATHSTAR CAUSE U R REACHING YOUR END That is my wish for U!!!Have a nice day and who knows, someday i'm gonna meet U!!!"

Anyone else really love the original Conan the Barbarian movie? Everytime I watch it I think, "Geez, I'd really love to draw something inspired by this movie." So, gosh darn it, I'm gonna try! I haven't drawn in fucking forever. Really, ask [Evilmonk], [TheRogue], [Rennie], or [Steve*O]... it's pretty sad. Every once in a while I get peer pressured by their creativity into scribbling a little bit, but I just get blown away by what they all can produce. Anyway, I started a Conan drawing, I think I should go pop in the movie to fuel my inspirado and see if I can't muster up something to share with you fine folks. I've really been an absentee member of the community lately, but it's just because I really didn't have shit to contribute =B either artistically or intellectually. I've really been slackin' lately! *points at the Xbox360* I share the blame with that thing! [Evilmonk] has shown some sparks of creativity as well, so I hope you all keep the boot up his ass to keep motivated with the artwork! Great things are getting started and they must be seen through! Hint: Happy Hero! =D

Bored. Procrastinating on the housework...

OO1. When's the last time you ran?

Probably 15 years ago... heh just kidding.. maybe 10. >.>

OO2. Do your jeans have rips, tears, and holes in them?

Not as many pairs have holes nowadays as when I was young. I find it just looks slovenly on me at 35 and not hip or cool.

OO3. What are you dreading right now?

Chores today and work tomorrow.

OO4. Do you celebrate 4/20?

Not in an awfully long time.

OO5. When is the last time you saw your significant other?
One hour ago when I kissed him goodbye and sent him off to work. He was all achy and sniffly though, so perhaps he will come home early.

OO8. Do you get the full 8 hours of sleep a night?
Nope. I either end up going to sleep too late or the cats wake me up periodically.

O11. What's your current favorite song?

I'm currently hooked on David Russel's classical guitar collection "Renaissance Favorites" but have only listened to the cd 3-4 times and could not pick out a definite favorite yet. The entire cd is marvelous though. I will always love Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" and "You're My Best Friend" and listen to them often. Shut up with your laughing! *cries* You're not my best friend anymore. ={

O12. If anyone came to your house on your "lazy days" what would you do?

Hope they did not hear the music/tv/video game and pretend no one is home.

O13. Who last grabbed your ass?

My husband will forever be the last person to grab this ass, thank you.

O14. Have you ever been in your school's band?

No. I am completely incapable of producing music. I have no ear for it and I lack any sense of rhythm. It's so sad. *sigh*

O15. Do you own a pair of Converse?
Not currently. But who knows what the future holds. In the past I have owned a couple of pairs which I wore until they fell apart and I had to tape them back together. Eventually, I was forced to throw them away because they developed an awful stench.

O16. Did you copy and paste this survey?

Absolutely. I think I've even copied and pasted this before... some of these questions seem familiar... Or maybe I am from the FUTURE! O.o

O17. Do you eat raw cookie dough?

Yes. And then when the cookies are baked, sometimes I think, I should have just eaten the dough.

O18. Have you ever kicked a vending machine?

Yes. I'm sorry, but it was a necessary act of violence.

O19. Don't you hate when the radio ruins good songs by playing a slow one right after it?

I usually only listen to National Public Radio on the, er, radio. It's mostly talk or classical music.

O21. Do you watch Trading Spaces?

No, we don't have cable or even an antennae for the tv. Strictly dvd's at our house, and never would we rent Trading Spaces! We would, however, rent Trading Places.

O23. Have you ever stayed online for a very long time waiting for someone?

Yes, of course. How do you think I stalked, er, talked [Evilmonk] into moving in with me?

O24. Are you cocky?
No, I'm not remotely cocky. Or even penisy.

O25. Could you live without a computer?

How do you mean? I don't understand the question! Obviously, no. But, probably, yes. I would eventually learn to cope without it, regain my skills as a hunter/gatherer and worship some horned goddess in a magical wood somewhere. Or, more likely, I would just watch a lot more movies and read more books. And I guess have to go out and purchase music the old fashioned way at a store rather than download them on itunes. And send my family and friends actual paper correspondence. Or even scarier, resort to calling them on the phone...
Fuck it, I change my answer back to NO.

O26. Do you wear your shoes in the house?

No. I do have slippers though.

O27. At what age did you find out that Santa wasn't real?

I dunno... at my age it is difficult to recall back that far.

O28. How many phones, house phones and cell phones are in your house?

5

O29. What do you do when you're sad?

Cry, eat, and sleep a lot.

O30. Who would you call first if you won the lottery?
[Evilmonk]! "Quit that job, honey! We're going on a permanent vacation!"

O31. Last time you saw your best friend?

A little over an hour ago when I sent my husband off to work.

O32. Who or what sleeps with you?

[Evilmonk], Django Jazz, Miho, Loki, Unagi, and sometimes EdMunky.

O33. Are you in high school?

No, thank goodness. I'd probably be heavily armed if I were still in HS though.

034. Is anyone on your bad side now?

Nah. I try not to hate.

O35. What jewelry are you wearing?

My engagement ring and wedding band.

O36. What's the first thing you do when you get online?

Check gmail.

O37. Do you watch Grey's Anatomy?

Nope.

O38. Would you wear a boy/girlfriends clothes?
I'm wearing [Evilmonk]'s Flash Gordon t-shirt right now. It looks a lot better on him though...

O39. Where do you work?

A veterinary clinic.

O40. What are you doing Friday?

Working 10 hours.

O41. Is Justin Timberlake becoming the next Michael Jackson?

I just saw J.T. in a crazy movie called Southland Tales, which would lead me to believe he is nothing like M.J. It was way better than "The Wiz" although there was no Nipsy Russel...  Please Justin, don't go sleeping with young boys and making me look foolish!

O42. Favorite name for a girl?
Get away from me, kid, you bother me.

O43. Favorite name for a boy?

Get away from me, kid, you bother me.

O44. Will you keep your last name when you get married?

I traded in for the husband's name.

O45. When is the last time you left your house?

6:20 last night when a coworker called to tell me a parvo positive puppy was squirting blood all over the place and she needed help replacing an I.V. catheter.

O46. Do you return your cart?

Always.

O47. Do you have a dishwasher?

For the first time in my life, and I am fucking LOVING it.

O48. What noise do you hear?
Django purring very loudly in my lap. Classical guitar. Clickity clack of the keys as I type.

O49. Would you survive in prison?

Hells yeah. My kung fu is the shit.

My uncle, to whom I donated my liver two years ago this April, passed away a few days ago. He was only the second transplant patient in the world to have developed cancer, so the doctors were unsure how to proceed with his treatment. It was a long, painful few months for him, and he chose to end the battle on his own terms. He died at home, with his wife and his brother (my father) at his side. I am so saddened by my family's loss, but I can take some small measure of comfort knowing that his suffering is over. Not just the physical pain, but the degradation one must endure when terminally ill, to have your family and total strangers attend to your every mundane and intimate need. To be such an accomplished and independent man, it must have been unbearable to feel so helpless. I am lucky enough to have had the opportunity to see him about a week prior to his death, and hope that I conveyed to him adequately his impact on my life and how very much he will always mean to me. My heart breaks for my Aunt, who dedicated herself so wholly to her husband, especially in the later years. She was wife, nurse, advocate, and cheerleader for him, and now she must find her days very long... I go back and forth between feeling like my gift to him was worthless, that I did not save his life like I thought. But, I had given them two years that he would not have had otherwise, allowed them to travel once more to their summer home in New York that they loved so much, and to attend his mother's (my grandmother) 100th birthday party. So, I think in the end it was all worth it. It will always be the most noble and selfless thing I will ever have done with my life. My shining moment. And the memory of my uncle will always push me to live every day to it's fullest, to treasure my family and my husband more than anything, and to see and do as many things as possible because life is so short and precious and it can end at any time.

It's been a long time since I've participated in this online community and to those that I used to have conversations with, I apologize for dropping out of ET =) [Evilmonk] and I are very close to the end of the ordeal that is relocating. In a couple more days, we will be able to move into a house of our own again. Four of our cats have been boarding at a vet clinic, and we are just so eager to get them back into a home environment. It will be a little while longer until phone and internet service is hooked up, so there will be yet another period of silence, but I hope that after that, we will both be back in the swing of creating things like Happy Hero and Inspirado. We always have a lot of fun doing them and it is a shame to let them die, yeah? Admittedly, after such a long hiatus, it is difficult to recall where exactly the story lines were leading... =B
Well, best to you all, and we'll see you next year!
Peas.

Everyone else is still sleeping. I got woked up rather rude like. My oldest cat, Django, has a very sensitive digestive system. We usually feed the cats a holistic, organic food - but because I am lazy and did not go to the specialty pet food store, we have been feeding our cats my friend's Iams dry food which she gives to her cats. Anyway, he has been projectile vomiting rather violently every day since we have fed this Iams to him. I mean, Linda Blair would be envious at the ferocity of his vomiting. Poor lil guy. Finally, after doing many loads of laundry and scrubbing carpets every day, I went to get his preferred food. I guess his system is still sorting itself out though because I woke to the sound of his gagging and warm, wet splashes across my legs. Nice. Time to wake up. =P
This could have been more disastrous... he could have puked on [Evilmonk]. I don't think the cat has enough lives to survive that!

We just saw the "Transformers" movie for the first time last night. And for everyone who did not like it, I think you are over-thinking the shit. It was a kick ass, special effects laden film. The battle scenes were incredible. Every time someone transformed I felt like giggling and clapping it was so cool. The only thing that did not sit well with me was Soundwave - it was cool that they made him small, to account for him being a boombox and all - but did they have to make him so darn goofy? I mean, Soundwave was like, Mister Stoic y'know? =) Ah well, small price to pay for an awesome movie, in my opinion.

A few people have brought it to my non-tv watching, non-cable subscribing ass that there is a Flash Gordon TV show on the SciFi Channel. I watched a little bit of episode 108 on the website... and... it... SUCKED. Where is the camp? Where are the bright costumes? Where are the Penthouse playmates? Where is the over the top acting? Where are the technicolor vomit sets and matte painting backgrounds? The tv show played more like a boring soap opera to me. *yawn* I'm telling you, a rated R, totally crazy off the wall reimagining of the 80's gem would kick this Flash Gordon's ass.

<img200*0:http://www.impawards.com/1980/posters/flash_gordon.jpg>
Someone needs to write some letters, bang down some doors, grease some palms and do whatever it takes to get a remake of this movie in the works!

The original soundtrack was done by Queen, one of the greatest blessings to the music world. The new updated version would be done by Tenacious D - the other great blessing. I think the D should also be cast as the Hawkmen, Jaybles as Vultan:
<img100*0:http://www.nerf-herders-anonymous.net/images/BrianBlessed_FlashGordon_Vultan.jpg>
Te orignal Ming was wonderfully played by Max Von Sydow, but we think we could get an excellent Ming out of Geoffrey Rush. Ming's sexpot daughter perhaps played by the sultry voiced Scarlett Johanssen.
<img100*0:http://home.comcast.net/~cjh5801a/images/fg17.jpg>
Our hero Flash would have a definitely have to have a lot of comedy chops, so we thought of Sean William Scott. Leading lady, Dale, would be played by Amy Smart, who isn't afraid of making a fool out of herself and looks like an all American kinda girl. Robin Williams would be a great, cracked out, mad scientist.
<img100*0:http://www.cylon.org/images/flash/flash-web-004b.jpg>
I couldn't find a picture of Barin from the first movie, but he was played by Timothy Dalton. I think Josh Harnet would make a nice Barin looks-wise, but maybe Nathan Fillion could do it, just so we could have him invovled... cuz who in their right mind does not love Nathan Fillion?
I think Joss Whedon should write and perhaps direct, or maybe Terry Gilliam could bring his wild visual style to the table.

I don't think any of this is too much to ask for...
so, let's start our campaign by writing letters, sending emails, telegrams, smoke signals, strip-o-grams, notes tied to bricks thrown through windows, or whatever else it takes.

The someone who was interested in our house came back for a 2nd look yesterday. She stayed for an hour and a half! Her agent messaged us late last night to say they would be in touch in a couple of days, they just had to write the contract up!!! =D Florida here we come!!!!!!! *dances around maniacally*
Now we gotta get started packing up everything - though Matt has done a hell of a job getting things packed and cleared out to show the house already. I am still fretting over driving with 5 cats, for 16+ hours to Florida; the stress it will put on them. One of my pals helped another friend move to New Mexico and they drove the 36 hours straight with 2 cats. She said they were pretty freaked out, but no permanent scars. Does anyone here have any experience transporting cats in vehicles over a long distance? The longest I have gone is from Long Island, New York to Baltimore, Maryland when I purchased 2 Abyssinian kittens a while ago. There was lots of crying and sweaty paws over the 4 hour drive, but they survived.
