Trying to get the hang of setting things up at the newly opened *drumroll*

http://www.cafepress.com/evilenterprises

Please give [Evilmonk] and I some input, thoughts, comments, suggestions, etc. We'd certainly appreciate it.  These are designs that we threw together quickly tonight so we could see how the store operates. Once we have some more solid designs ready we will make the upgrade to Premium Shop to make it look all professional-like, have more variety of products, etc.

From Astonishing X-men #16...
Kitty: "Who's the kid?"
Emma: "Negasonic Teenage Warhead."
Kitty: "Wow, we really have run out of names..."

LMFAO
Joss Whedon is the man - I enjoy his writing so much (Buffy, Firefly, the comics). And if I were to say who I would model myself after in the comic art world, it'd have to be John Cassaday. I just love his less is more attitude, the people look like REAL people, and the great facial expressions. Laura Martin's colors are a big part of it, too.

How cute of the Featured Member Bosses to do a double feature of my husband and I! I wonder how many other ET married couples are out there? I know of one other - I mean that met on ET and then married, like me and [Evilmonk]. It'd be an interesting survey to take - maybe it should be a Main Street poll huh?
Anyway, thank you, [Sunny Silverunicorn], for the nice messages these past few weeks getting ready for the feature! =)

Has anyone else played Hexic on Xbox360? Created by the same guy who made the crack called Tetris.
The black pearl... continues to elude me. Must. Get. Black. Pearl.

I was super psyched about Ninety-Nine Nights for the Xbox360 being released tomorrow. But, after reading so many mixed reviews (some people downright HATE the game!), I think I will wait for Samurai Warriors 2 coming out in September. Looks like more indepth strategy involved, plus BONUS - two player coop (my favorite)!

Still in Florida for a couple more days here.  I miss my kitty cats, but I'll be sad to leave here. =( We've been having such a wonderful time visiting family - and meeting some old (yet new lol) friends!
We met [TheRogue], [Rennie], and [Steve*O] earlier this week and hung out for quite a while. But the real treat was last night when we all went to Denny's for a drawing session. Wow, the creativity around that table was awesome! Even a couple of guys who worked at Denny's approached us - one asked if we were taking writing submissions, the other ended up sitting down with us after his shift and drawing, too.
I can't tell you how much Evil and I enjoyed hanging out with these fine people. We'll be very sad not to have their company back in Baltimore, but at least we get to hang out with them in Elftown. We hope to return to Pensacola soon and often in the future, so we will definitely do this again! ^_^

I had a dream I was driving, and it was a dark, rainy night. The road was slick and winding up a mountain. I crashed through the guard rail, and the car slowly flipped upside-down in the air. I was plummeting in what seemed like slow motion towards the side of the mountain. As I was doing so, I thought of all the things I regretted not doing while I had the chance. I regretted not calling my Grandmother enough. I regretted not sending a thank you card. I regretted any grudges I held. Then I thought, I never learned how to fly. And I slipped out the open window and floated up past the car and into the night. I was crying and laughing and spiraling faster and faster upwards.

So, I guess the point is, it's never too late to take a chance on doing something you really want. If you don't, you'll crash to your firey death full of regrets? Hmmmm. But it was a cool dream, whatever it meant.

*sidenote: I think at some point, I also became a horse. Flying. Not a pegasus - had no wings. Don't know where that fits in or what it means heheheh

My husband and I, and another couple, went to this great outdoor art festival yesterday evening - www.artscape.org. It was overcast and raining, but that is perfect weather for us =) Better than the bright, hot sun!
There were so many amazing artists there (also a lot of overpriced crap, but it's all in the eye of the beholder, right?). I had to cling to my husband and say, "Please, don't let me spend money!" because everywhere I looked I wanted something.
We did make one art purchase though. Very reasonably priced prints at 2 for $25. Amazing pencil drawings that you could stare at a long time, and see something new on each occaision. Here are the two we bought:

After sharing my dream, I thought of starting a wiki where people could share thier dreams and discuss them with everyone. Does anyone know if a wiki like this already exists?

"I had a strange dream..."
Something I utter just about every time I wake up. Anyway, this time, I was at a mall, playing Monopoly in the parking lot with my husband and some German woman (who I am convinced was cheating). It started to rain, so we had to pack it in and go into the mall. There, we went to the arcade, and met some guy that my husband knew. He introduced us to a girl he was "chatting up" there. She was really tall, and blonde and had a big toothy smile that showed a lot of gums (you know the kind of smile I'm talking about). She said "Hi" all sultry-like, grabbed my husband and planted this long kiss on his lips. I shoved her shoulder. She said, "Oh, you don't mind my saying hi to your boyfriend, do ya?" "He's my husband, and I fucking mind," I replied. I shoved her back by her big face, she tried to take a swing at me, but missed. I then beat the living daylights out of her... mostly punching her in the face repeatedly or smacking it into something like the pinball machine. Even after she was completely knocked out, I continued to maul her. I finally dropped her limp body and my husband tried to put his arm around my shoulder. I told him, he'd better not touch me, talk to me, or look at me because I wasn't pleased with his inaction when she kissed him. I said I had to walk outside to gather myself.

When I got outside, it was a big grassy field, surrounded by rainforest. There were ruins off in the distance. I was an Indian, or Native American, or maybe like Mayan or some South American native or something? I was also a man. And my hands were on fire. There were a bunch of us, actually, on fire. Screaming and running around the field. And a small group of old men, medicine men maybe, watching us. Some of the others were completely engulfed in flames. Everyone was screaming and crying, including myself.
"I am on fire. I am in pain. I am going to die. If I don't die, I am going to kill those men who set me on fire." Those were the things I was thinking. Then, it was just pain. No more "I" - I didn't exist anymore. I had transcended. No longer bound by my mortal self, I was able to become a vessel for a god being. I looked towards the ruins and I saw a pathway, shining with golden, magic flame. I knew that was the way I had to go. I didn't feel the fire anymore, even though I was completely covered in the flames now. I motioned to the old men to follow me.
I slowly walked through a maze of ruins, and came upon what was once a bridge, but had been broken long ago. I saw the golden, magic flame illuminate the other side. I proceeded to walk through the air, as if the bridge still existed. My footprints leaving golden, firey marks hovering in the air for a moment, as I progressed to the other side. I looked back across at the old men, who were watching me, mouths open in wonder. They could not follow me now. I found a stone door, at least ten feet high. Impossible for a man to move, but I pushed it open with one hand. The inside was golden and glowing and I knew this is where I was supposed to be. I entered and was consumed completely with the golden fire and a feeling of peace.

Since Elftown will be down on Saturday night and Sunday, and since we have no lives here lol maybe we will run into some of you nice folks on Elfsack. I mean, Elfpack. Y'know, any port in a storm, I guess. If we all get bored. I'm under the same name there, so look me up if'n you are similarly bored. We can look at all the crap over there, shake our heads disapprovingly, laugh about it, and be joyous when ET comes back up on Monday. [Evilmonk] will arrange for the marching band and confetti.

We watched "Blade Runner" last night - I haven't seen that movie in I dunno how long. It made me realize ALL OVER AGAIN how far ahead of it's time it was. That goes ditto for "Alien." Ridley Scott is da man.

I was also thinking, if Xmen the movies had been made back in the day, Rutger would have made a good Wolverine. Or, not to knock Ian McKellan's portrayal, he might have made a cool Magneto, too.
Unfortunately, Rutger, last I saw him, was mired in a horrible made-for-tv movie remake of "Poseidon." On the bright side, he gave a better performance than a haggard, sunbaked, leatherface C. Thomas Howell... on the not-so-bright side, that ain't sayin' much. If you do come across that movie, it is worth some cheap laughs when Steve Gutenberg rips the sleeves off his shirt to show us he's had plenty of time to work out since "Cocoon."
