DEEP THOUGHTS ABOUT LIFE
(38) Do you live in the moment?: Not often
(39) Do you consider yourself tolerant of others?: I really do try.
(40) Do you have any secrets?: Not since my mum picked up the hints about my Indian Boyfriend
(41) Do you hate yourself?: Au contaraire, I love me
(42) Do you like your handwriting?: Sometimes, specially when I write in devanagari.
(43) Do you have any bad habits?: Not many, eating in bed might be the worst one.
(44) What is the compliment you get most from people?: Too many people tell me I'm sexy but I don't like it too much. And I get compliments for my drawings.
(45) If a movie were made about your life, what would it be called?: The secret life of Bees.
(46) What's your biggest fear?: Sickness, so I'd have to stay in a hospital, being helpless...
(47) Can you sing: Quite well too I think
(48) Do you ever pretend to be someone else just to look cool?: I am cool on my own, or so my roommate told me...
(49) Are you a loner?: Yes, but not lately...
(51) If you were another person, would you be friends with you?: If I wasn't too shy about me... I can get shy around people I like and I kinda like me... o.O
(52) Are you a daredevil?: Occasionally, when there's an opportune moment for it. Not in the same sense as stupidity goes...
(54) Are you passive or aggressive?: Deffinately passive
(55) Have you got a question?: Do we really need money?
(56) What is your greatest strength and weakness?: Weakness first: being easily intimidated, strength: Having a positive outlook on anything and adapting into anything
(57) If you could change one thing about yourself?: Which one would it be? Is that the question? Well, I'd fix a few outer things I guess, because inside I'm all adamantium.
(58) There are three wells, love, beauty and creativity, which one do you choose?: Oh no, usually I'd go for creativity, but recently I've sort of enjoyed love very much... I can't live without creativity... but would I give up love for that? No, or maybe... T_T
(59) How do you vent?: I don't. Or if I do, I just cry.
(60) Do you think you are emotionally strong?: Humm, interesting... no, I don't think so. I can be stubborn emotionally, but not strong.
(61) Is there anything you regret doing/not doing in life?: Yes. Not telling Sakari I fancied him before he died.
(62) Do you think life has been good so far?: Yes.
(63) What is the most important lesson you've learned from life?: Just go and talk to the scary people, they will probably want to help you...
(64) What do you like the most about your body?: Legs and feet...
(65) And least?: What do I like least? I dunno, I'm so used to being me, that I don't care anymore... I hate my stomach when it hurts, because other sort of pain I can take but not stomach ache.
(66) Do you think you are good looking?: 'Good looking' ... well, I'm not bad looking.
(67) Are you confident?: In some things.
(68) What is the fictional character you're most like?: At the moment Wolverine, tho [iippo] is quite nice too :P
69) Do people know how you feel?: Isabel can just look at me and she knows perfectly... and to some people I tell, so if they remember what I said, they should know...
(70) Are you perceived wrongly?: Occasionally, but that could be the language-problem... and some people think I'm stupid, but that is also based on the language problem.

List of people loved by me behind boyfriend's back:
1. [Aradon Templar]
Sweety sweety sweety!
2. Grant something (gonna check his name laters)
The awesome tour-guide man-thingie in National Gallery who took us to see two paintings and told everything about them... I listened to his every word, reacted with my expressions and followed him around like a puppy... god how embarrassing... ^_^;;;
3. John Devane
My Contextual Studies lecturer (one out of three). He is so brilliant, I can't help but stare in awe. (It doesn't matter that he's way over his 50s... ^_^;;)

17:47:49 iippo: First my mom sent me stuff from finland that included a clipping from a paper. It was a column written by this author about art school students and how unlikely they are to help the world move forward, and it was like my mom was clearly implying that she thought the same way... It's like she thinks I live in some dream world, that I think I can go from school to the life of an artist, i know it's not like that but just because I'm not afraid of the world (what is the worst that can happen? you can die. no biggie) doesn't mean I'm stupid.

18:22:14 Templar of the Lord: Heh. Honestly, the world has little respect for artists, it seems :P

18:25:32 iippo: That is true. And the article-writing-thingie my mom sent me made sense, it had this example of an art school student and how much more important a, say, plumber is to the society. Now I'm the first person to acknowledge that, but I can't really help that I'm physically very not-suited for that sort of job. But I do realise I have to do some other kind of work after school, before I get a job around art or design, and I'm fine with that. So I'll be poor, so what?

18:28:17 Templar of the Lord: Meh, if the entire population did logical, benificial jobs such as plumbing or researching, then the world would go insane due to lack of artistic refreshment. Imagination would disappear, as well, since our reality would only consist of what we see in front of us, due to the lack of artistic displays that show unusual stuffs :)
---

18:39:34 iippo: We have to compile all sorts of stuff there [contextual studies logbook]. Lecture and seminar notes and hand-outs go in of course, articles about art/art history, excerptfrom books, photo copies, leaflets from galleries and exhibitions, anything that you think you could find useful later in your life around the arts.

18:41:12 Templar of the Lord: Interesting... Maybe your mom sent the article for that, just to remind you what the world thought about artists at the time....

DeathScythe Hell says:
writing is an art form

DeathScythe Hell says:
thus newspaper articles, however shit they are, are also little pieces of art

DeathScythe Hell says:
this means that an artist is contributing towards society

DeathScythe Hell says:
jsut seemed... kind of odd, to me, really, to see an artist saying how useless artists are, when s/he themselves is one, and is being useful to society

Exapno Mapcase says:
heh, maybe he was afraid of competition, wanting to discourage young people from joining his trade...

17:27:46 iippo: Oh and in case you people didn't know, this month shall be known as 'insult iippo's intelligence -month'. Rejoice oh world.

17:39:45 SilverFire: insult iippo's intelligence? why would people do that? O.o

17:51:13 iippo: Number 2: boyfriend. I tried to make a conversation and asked what was his exam about and the reply came: "It's related to my course, you wouldn't understand" (this was online). I, in a pissed off polite tone asked, excuse me? And he just said "forget it, you are better at arts." Now, I know I'm better at arts, why do you think it's my 'major'? But that doesn't mean I don't understand human speech when using a language I know fluently. If you say it was 'mathematics' I understand perfectly, even a little bit more difficult mathematic terms I can understand just ok. He has two more strikes, after third I will start punching him when he does that.

17:54:59 SilverFire: *hugs*

17:55:03 iippo: Number 3. My teacher. She came to see what I was working on in the studio. I have three different-topic stuff going on (all adapted from Andrew Wyeth's Winter 1946) and I had just started the third one, a symbolistic thing that relates the story of Cain to the painting. So when she came, she ignored that one and wanted me to concentrate on the one that I lied less - this big, white thing made of toilet paper with shapes of shadows and something like that and she said she'd rather see me do four or five of those than this one that I was interested in (which she couldn't see alright because there was only one crummy sketch up anyway). So I did as she suggested, started another...

17:56:14 SilverFire: :-( bad day, then?

17:56:39 iippo: toiletpaper thingie and half way there I got so booored with it. So quickly I finished and continued with the earlier one. Later the other teacher - Jim, he is so great - came and I explained all on the wall to him and he was very encouraging, he gave useful tips and he noticed right away that the toiletpaper stuff was my least favourite one.

17:56:53 iippo: not all happened today thank god. beginning of this month (30th-2nd something like that)

Apparently when Christmas is coming, normal postcards cease to be. I mean how difficult would you think finding normal postcards for cheap be in a city with 99 P Store and Poundland, dozen different places specialized in cards and at least 50 newsagents? And no regular postcards for reasonable price... meh.
*goes to student union to steal promotional purposes cards*
