welcome to reality

The first principle of marketing (okay, it’s not the first, but it doesn’t sound nearly as cool to say it’s the third) is this: perception is reality. You see, a long time ago, some academic came up with the idea that reality doesn’t actually exist. Or at least, if it does, no one can agree what it is. Because of perception.

Perception is the filter through which we view the world, and most of the time it’s a handy thing to have: it generalizes the world so we can deduce that a man who wears an Armani suit is rich, or that a man who wears an Armani suit and keeps saying, “Isn’t this some Armani suit,” is a rich asshole. But perception is a faulty mechanism. Perception is unreliable and easily distracted, subject to a thousand miscues and misinformation... like marketing. If anyone found a way to actually distinguish perception from reality, the entire marketing industry would crumble into the sea overnight.

(Incidentally, this wouldn’t be a good thing. The economy of every Western country would implode. Some of the biggest companies on the planet would never sell another product. The air would be thick with executives leaping out of windows and landing on BMWs.)

The Straight Way

You all know that sooner or later you'll hae to accept the fact that love is love. This the same way you reacted to witches in the 16th century and sometimes even now but most people have learned to accept it. I mean do any of you acctually know any gays? I know lots and they seem to be a lot happier than people who havent discovered who they are yet. Enevtually gay rights will be a major part of society and there wont be anything to do about it. Well... you could start a civil war and break up america into two seperate parts... but that didnt work last time.

First of all darling, your comment is right after another comment where a person states that they know gay people. =D Yeah, read your comments, you did, uhu. Secondly, "start a civil war and break America apart"? Well, I personally would like to see that place face a bit of trouble, it would strenghten my set view that american majority is a bit odd in the head, but that's not the point. You just assume that everyone is speaking about America, do yah? And thirdly, gays can be happy in their gay-world with their gay lives, (f00k it man, the word 'gay' means happy!) but the wiki isn't saying that they aren't happy. They say gays shouldn't be happy, because the people on the wiki don't like gays and no one wants happiness to people they don't like.

nope...you didn't because it *is* against gods word and if you believe in god and hell, that is where gays are going...and i know several gays, as i mentioned, and they are all just as messed up and unhappy as the rest of us...i think gays should be shipped away...so there *isn't* a civil war...ever hear of Gay Kindom? let them live there...love is NOT love, love is between a man and a woman, what a man feels for a man or a woman a woman is peverted sexual desires masked by the need and want for companionship and nothing more

Ah, another weirdo. Deary, you are a bit off here. God is ever-loving and forgiving, people don't go to hell unless they follow satan. And not-following-God is not the same as following Satan, see? Because a person who follows Satan has made his choice and bound himself to him, just as a God-loving person has bound himself to Him. But a person in between does not go to hell, for God loves all people and doesn't want people suffer - that's why we got Jesus. See, there is heaven for people of God, and hell for satan and his angels and servants, but there is a plce for people in between, who still have a chance if their souls are prayed for. And about this shipping-thing... Gee mate, I just finished watching La Vita E Bella, and that sounds awful lot like fascism to me (they did ship gay people away, along with gypsies, jews, cripples and all other things that were not humans to them). You mahdear are now granted a label: Neo-nazi. And that would also explain the fact that you do not love anything or anyone. Now that's what I call inhuman.

Ah!
Silloin euforinen uneni alkoi sylista joka voi murskata tai pelastaa riippuen nakokulmasta (toivoisin etten olisi andre Breton) silti en kadu paitsi asioita joita en tehnyt, yksi suudelma on pelkkaa kidutusta unetonna poukkoilemista siella missa menettaa itsensa ja itkee musiikkia. Pilvessa jumissa.
Muuta ei ole jaljella minulle kuin tarvitsen vain rakkautta ja puhua minulle/sinulle.
Usko minua silla sytyn herkasti
Valehtelu on vaarin?

I know it will take far
(That is why it is good)
Everything I see is illusion,
You are no longer,
You are divine like the rising sun
And I will find that right one yellow one,
golden one, red one like an tangerine
ultraviolent darling brown of whose eyes
takes far away to Stockholm
and back. Yes, the beautifully long
lashes. Ah!

And then began my euphoric dream from the lap
That can crash you or save you depending
On your viewpoint (I wish I wasn’t Andre Breton) even still
I do not regret anything except
things I didn’t do, one kiss
is merely torture, sleepless
tossing and turning there where you
lose yourself and cry music. Lost inside a cloud.

There’s nothing left for me but
I need love and to talk
To you/me.

Believe me for I ignite easily.
Lying is wrong?

I have never been so lonely and missed home as much as yesterday. I came home from uni around 2 am last night, walked through the deserted city, there was no one in the whole world but me. I listened to the blackbirds singing - fucking blackbirds in February! I could look up and see the stars and hear the birds but when I looked down again, I saw that I was alone in this filthy, disgusting city, and I couldn't help but wonder, what are we - me and the blackbirds - we illuminated, bright, brilliant creatures doing in this shit-covered place...?

My dears, don't blame yourselves. You can't always be there for me.

If the artist as a person is the primary cause of the work of art, the material means of creating is the secondary cause. As all that appears in the work derives from the artist's personality, so all must be done through the physical process of creation. Above we referred to the Christian life as a relevant theological category; here the doctrine of creation must be considered. Properly speaking, only God creates. He spoke and the world was made immediately without means external to himself. In the same way he spoke and life began. To man, on the other hand, was given authority to name, care for, and arrange the world of things. It is in this sphere that his creativity must be exercised. He does not create in the sense of the original creation, since he must always begin with the physical world. Between man tilling and tending the earth and man painting and forming there may be a differnet in quality but there is none of function. It is all part of a single office of man: dominion. This office is not, however, unrelated to the original creation. Though different kind and starting point, Adam's task of naming the animals continued in an important sense the creation God had begun. He confirmed and determined its order. All of man's creativity is precisely of this sort: arranging, ordering and naming the original creation. That which is novel is always relative to the material conditions in which art must be located. Absolute novelty belongs to God alone.

I have created you, beloved vermin, in my thrice sacred resemblance, and you have responded by betraying me. Thus I have punished myself. It was not enough that you resembled me. I, the Impassible, felt a great desire to make myself like you, so that you would become my equals. Therefore I have made myself vermin in your image.

But there is no doubt that the modern artist, feeling himself no longer in any vital contact with society, performing no necessary or positive function in the life of the community, retreats upon himself and gives expression to his own states of subjectivity, limiting himself to this expression, and not caring wheter expression is also communication.
