"Tomorrow, We'll Be Saved"

The screams of pain that fill the air,
With smells of burning flesh and hair.
Hellish tortures all around,
Dead and dying spread the ground.

No bread, no soup, just tasteless snow,
For one small bean, they'd sell their souls.
People dying all the while,
At last, in death, their faces smile.

[I wrote this during the World War II unit in English. It's about life at the Birkenau death camp in Poland]
