A few introductory words

Hello guys,
I’m a total newbie around here so please don’t be too harsh on me, I’ll try my best to respect the Elftown spirit. Also, sorry for my English being so... “unfluent” I guess that will be a good opportunity to practice.
And no, I’m definitely not satanic or that kind of people. The 666 in my nickname here is just a trick to remember it easily, so please live with it, I’m not gonna eat you, at least while you leave me in peace and don’t ask me if ‘I want 2 talk’. I’m here as a serious guy.

In the real life, I'm working as a computer-science engineer. I spend the whole day sitting in front of a computer screen, so when I come back home I don’t crave for spending my time on random senseless messages. Just let’s be efficient.
(Don’t be too frightened by these words, but let's try ^^; ).



 

Myth of Altaride

As a member of the team that is currently working on the Myth of Altaride RPG, and the Treasurer of the association dedicated to it, I decided to register here in order to deepen our universe and historical background. I am in charge of developing one of Altaride’s Great Powers, which is the Barbarian Kingdoms Alliance. I also intend to take part to the Altaride's illustrations section, since I’d like to provide many descriptions for these.
I personally use softwares that enable me to create coat of arms and landscapes, but I’m not at all an artist nor a drawer. Please refer to the great work provided by our president [syagre], and visit the members of our little fellowship: [Moi001], [Yncke], [Cassave].

I’m fond of progressive music, from the 60s classics (Pink Floyd, Yes, King Crimson) to the modern progressive metal bands (Dream Theater, Symphony X, etc.). I’m open to other styles, though.

I’m afraid I also spend a lot of time watching Anime, although I prefer old stuff such as Tezuka or Dezaki’s works than the modern series of lesser quality to my eyes.

By the way, I wrote some interesting theory as a new member of the SSEB Saint Seiya Experts Bureau: My Zeus theory.

As a Sci-Fi and Horror movies fan, I like these old movies with monsters in Latex of whom you can see the zipper. The Kaiju Eiga (Japanese Monsters Movies, such as Godzilla) are my favourites, but I also like all the Tokusatsu declinations: Ultraman, Uchuu Keiji Gavan, and all the family.

I was searching for the ultimate second-rate film (we use the French word "nanar") until I discovered “Turkish Star Wars”, i.e. Dunyayi Kurtaran Adam... I’m not searching anymore x_x

I use the following softwares on a weekly basis. They are fine : try them :

+ Terragen (http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/): the most powerful software when it comes to landscapes, and it's free! [syagre] is now quite a pro of this tool, while I'm a rookie.

+ Artrage (http://www.snapfiles.com/get/artrage.html): a freeware that allows you to draw with realistics tools: chalk, crayon, felt pen, pencil, etc in a realistic manner: you can choose your paper, and how to use the tools.

+ Genheral (http://www.genheral.com/): the French software (sorry) I use to generate coats of arms.
