I'm blatantly average yet somehow queerly quirky and applying for scholarships like mad so I can go to college. My loves in this world are narrowed to three: writing, music, and dance. A pencil can be my best friend when the rest of the world seems to crazy to keep up with. Next comes music, I just got my trombone back from the shop. :D All of the dents have been rolled out, the slide has been re-aligned, and the whole thing got an acid bath. Now Tom the Trombone looks and sounds better than ever!

At this point in time the ballet company I dance with is gearing up for our 2008 production of Coppelia. I will be playing the oh-so-glamourous part of a town's person and I am in the corps de Prosperity.
In band we played at the WMEA state conference. We rocked their socks all the way to Timbuktu. We played excerpts from Katchaturian's Spartacus and Daugherty's Red Cape Tango. Both are complex and difficult in their own respects.
In life, I have no time but I greatly look forward to having more time and being crazy with my friends.

To Keep In Mind: I am not just another blonde. I had the good sense to dye my hair red. I value the intrinsic goodness of humans. No one is unworthy of affection. Life must be lived to the fullest, hardships are inevitable. Grammar keeps life organized. Everyone deserves a second chance. Love is universal. Math is the universal language. There is poetry in numbers. Music gives emotion a tangible outlet, it is the soaring notes and deep ascension of notes that makes the heart beat wildly as if one was with the lover of their lifetime. Criminals should be rehabilitated, not thrown in jail where they can only become more bitter and cut off from acceptable society. Mentally ill people are no less human than you or I. They have thoughts and feelings, they just can't always convey them. The human's purpose is to love and be loved. I plan on living this creed to its fullest extent.
