Description:
“Always wearing a mask,

To hide a crying face.

Like make-up hiding scars,

It hides his pain.

I see what others don’t,

What they are blind to.

Behind his fake smile,

And happy façade.

His sorrow growing deeper,

And the mask is slowly cracking.

Like the rain washing the make-up away

It’s more obvious to me.

And now I see the truth.

Lonely and scared,

Just like me.

Afraid to trust,

He doesn’t want to be betrayed,

He and I are very different,

But yet the same.

When his mask breaks,

And the make-up has faded away.

I’ll be the one to hold him,

And tell him it’s okay.”

As I look around,

it's like I can't tell which is which.

Or were am I.

It's all to blurry.

I can't reconize this place anymore.

I walk up into a strange room.

Is this house were I've resided for so long,

but have forgtten all about.

It seems somewhat familar.

I can't tell the diffrence in anything.

I don't know anymore.

Everything in my mind is too messed up.

I can't think staight.

Have I lied to myself so much that I can't tell the truth from lies..

Have I pushed myself too far.

I don't remember who or what caused this.

I hate yet love at the same time.

Angry at the world but cherishing it at the same time.

Childish at one moment and mature at the next,

What is real?

What is my true self?

Who am I...

This is a story from FanFiction.net .... its sad but cute:

one gloomy and muggy day, there sat a grave, alone with only a couple of dirty plaques placed neatly against it’s cold stone surface, each plaque with it’s own special type of flower, mostly white roses.

“Sasuke-kun was by far, the best of our graduating class, and the best of friends to Naruto and I. He would get the highest grades and he would always beat up those bad guys…Sasuke-kun was just one of a kind, and he is a hero.”

-Haruno Sakura

“Uchiha Sasuke died a fair death, saving countless lives at the price of his own. Though his choices in the past were unwise, his final decision will be remembered for all eternity, making him a savoir.”

-Hokage Tsunade

“Uchiha Sasuke, my dullest pupil in the end had more potential than those in team seven. It was a shame for him to leave the safety of Konoha, seeking power. He was a good kid, a great student, and a hero.”

-Hakate Kakashi

“Sasuke was the best in the ninja academy and will always be remembered as the ninja who saved Konoha. Thank you Sasuke, and may your soul settle and finally rest in peace.”

-Iruka-sensei

“Sasuke was okay, a traitor, but a hero. He always made the rest of us look bad, so we were inspired to grow stronger thanks to him. For that we thank him, our hero, Uchiha Sasuke.”

-graduating class

“Sasuke was one of the top ninjas of this village although a gloomy one. Poor little sharingan didn’t deserve such a cruel fate, but for his sacrifice we will remember.”

-village of Konoha

Stepping up to the cold silver plaques that rested against the grave, Naruto slowly looked down at the name written across the marble headstone. Uchiha Sasuke. Smiling slightly, Naruto’s aching body began to fall slowly, allowing him gentle access to the floor for sitting purposes.

“what’s the matter, Sasuke-teme? Have nothing to say?” Naruto prompted the silent grave. He couldn’t shake the dark feeling in his heart, for what type of friend misses his friend’s funeral. Naruto had been so injured in the hospital, he never had the chance to see Sasuke for the last time. “It’s going to be so boring without you’re words,” smiled Naruto, trying to hide the pain in his voice. “although I’ll probably imagine you saying shit like ‘dobe’ all the time.” And as if on demand, Naruto could hear Sasuke’s voice once again, calling Naruto that all too familiar dobe.

“the village and all of our teammates have forgiven and forgotten about the trouble you had caused for us. They only wish they had earlier. So Sasuke, what are you thinking?” there was a long pause and a quick breeze of air running through Naruto’s blond hair.

“Sakura-chan still hasn’t stopped crying. She sits there night and day just staring out her window, silent tears running down her face, and fist clenched into a prayer. Annoying girl, eh Sasuke? Tell me now, now what are you thinking?” Naruto looked down at each white flower behind the cold plaques that just sat there, waiting to rust and rot away. He could feel his face heat up as a few tears slid down his whiskered cheeks.

“Kakashi won’t take another genin team, says it’s too painful to stand another chance of losing yet another student. And tsunade-baachan is still acting as Hokage, though I’m pretty sure she’s upset about this whole thing. So what are you thinking now, Sasuke?” Naruto placed his own plaque down with all the others, a simple drawing instead of words inscribed onto it. A crappy drawing at that.

“can you see it, Sasuke? Can you see all the presents and gifts we have given? Can you see the tears of those who cared for you? can you feel the pain we all feel?” Naruto looked at the plaque again, slightly embarrassed by his lack of being a good artist. However, the painful feelings over took him.

“you were always such a show off, Sasuke-teme. Even when it came to your death…you saved Konoha, killed Uchiha Itachi and Orochimaru, and even saved the Hokage from deadly poison she couldn’t even heal. You saved me from Akatsuki and you gave your sharingan to your best friend? Tell me Sasuke-teme, what are you thinking tonight?” Naruto shook his head, remembering Kakashi’s smiling face, complementing on how easy the surgery was. What surgery? Naruto never wanted to see Sasuke’s black eyes, now his black eyes.

“we are connected now, aren’t we? But then again, we always had that bond, eh Sasuke? Hahaha….we used to fight a lot. Remember that one time that that baka closet pervert had taken us on a mission and you got upset because I drew a pumpkin on your underwear? Hahaha….yeah. You got so angry. What are you thinking?” Naruto sighed, suddenly feeling a light rain sprinkle his heated flesh. His throat throbbed angrily and restricted tightly as tears began to stream down the Kyuubi’s face.

“well I just came here to thank you for saving us all. Sasuke, you were the best, and we’ll never forget you. so, thank you, Sasuke-koi.” And with that, Naruto got up, leaving behind his memory plaque and a single white rose. Gleaming at the leaving ninja, the plaque shone in the rain, the drawing smiling a kind picture of two shinobi, one a raven haired boy and the other, a blonde dumb looking one. Holding hands and smiling, the words were messily scratched on. Best friends forever.

Here is another:

Most people knew that Sasuke absolutely hated sweets, with the common exception of his fan girls. By the end of Valentine's day, he'd be suffocating under a mountain of chocolates that he had neverwillingly accepted. Sweets were...feminine. Feminine means females. Females means fangirls. Fangirls means pure unadulterated evil.

What was with fangirls? They were everywhere and indescribely unbearable to be around. Just awful. They popped up out of hiding places, glompingto your back, and suddenly claiming they couldn't get off you when you told them to because they had covered themselves in glue. So you either had the choice to strip off your clothes or kill them. Let it be known that Sasuke had rarely ifEVER removed a single article of clothing in the presence of a fangirl...at least not knowingly.

'Does that only happen to me?'

But really, that is irrelevant to the point. Sasuke's dislike of sweets was something he'd be willing to sacrifice for only one person. A certain...sun-shiney blonde-haired nuisance of the nameNaruto. The person he was just about to visit. He pocketed something wrapped in plastic before stepping out of his large home. He took his time, his usual cool demeanor laced with a smirk...his plan would go along finely. A short visit to his boyfriend's home and maybe take him out for a surprise date. Free days were great.

Every once in a while he'd give a nod of acknowledgement to friends passing by, that is..until he was stopped by Sakura.

"Hi Sasuke." The pink kunoichi exited Ino's flower shop and walked along side to her ex-crush. Eyeing her, he nodded a hello.

"Whatcha doing?"

"Visiting Naruto."

"Oh? Then what's that?" a single finger pointing to the shiny, clear cellophane poking out of Sasuke's pocket.

Without looking down he quickly stuffed the package back down and blushed lightly, "It's nothing."

"Really?" She said, a devious smirk appearing. Sasuke felt his hair on the back of his neck stand on end...he didn't like that smirk. "Well...I hope you have fun. Tell Naruto I said hello."

With that she waved good bye to the flushing Uchiha and headed back to Ino's shop. Sasuke's eyes narrowed in annoyment, 'What exactly does she mean by that?'

He frowned and continued down the path to Naruto's home. The day so far was going okay...no fangirls...no fanboys...Sakura hadn't badgered him too much. Kakashi wasn't around to read his Icha Icha Paradise book out loud...in public, no less. He wasn't on a mission...annnnnd he was going to see his boyfriend. His smirk reappeared and he felt a mild excitement that made his chest tighten. With this unusually positive attitude, he arrived outside the door of Uzumaki's humble home in no time and give one loud knock.

A faint cough and the sound of some one almost choking was heard from the inside. A muffled, "I'll be right there!" followed afterwards. Sasuke waited a minute, and impatiently knocked again.

"I said I coming!"

"Tsch." Sasuke clicked his teeth faintly. Knowing Naruto, he was probably tripping himself into some pants at this time of day...then again, the thought of Naruto walking around in a over-sized t-shirt and boxers wasn't unpleasant. The hasty turning of the door knob brought him back to attention and a rumpled Naruto was revealed through the open door. He was wearing his usual orange get-up.

A sudden pinkness roamed over Naruto's whisker marks as he scratched the back of his neck, "Sasuke? I didn't expect you to be hear."

A slight frown knotted itself in the Uchiha's eyebrows, "You didn't want to see me?"

"O-of course of do, teme! I just didn't expect you is all.."

"Oh. Surprise."

Naruto blinked for a second in confusion before his trademark cat-like grin appeared on his face, "What're doin' standing there? Come in already, stupid."

He did exactly so, looking around the place, "You were eating ramen again, weren't you?"

Naruto blush re-appeared, "Yeah...when you knocked I kinda swallowed too much and nearly choked."

'So he wasn't getting dressed...too bad.' Sasuke rolled his eyes giving a simple grunt.

"Did you want something?" Naruto sat down at his table as Sasuke leaned against the wall.

The pale boy counted the cracks absent-mindedly before giving a nod.

"Well..what was is it?"

"Huh?" Drawn from his thoughts Sasuke answered rather dumbly.

"What do you want?"

"Oh. I have a favor to ask of you."

Naruto nearly fell out of his seat, "A favor!"

"Yeah, a favor. What of it?"

"What of it? I should be asking you that! Never in all these years have you EVER asked ME for a favor! Why now?"

For a second time Sasuke rolled his eyes, "Because you're my boyfriend, dumbass."

The answer seemed to make Naruto redden, "W-what kind of favor is it...?"

Sasuke's eyes flashed deviously as he walked over briskly, taking Naruto by the hand and dragging him to sit on the bed.

"What the hell, Sasuke-?"

"I bought you a gift," the inky haired boy interrupted. "..I was wondering if you'd do me the favor of accepting it."

"A...gift?"

"M'hm."

Naruto swallowed, "What...kind of g-gift?" He watched with caution as Sasuke pulled out a bag of...

...sugar cookies.

"Cookies?"

"Yeah."

"Cookies? You got me cookies?"

"Yes, dobe. I got you some cookies. But.." Sasuke held up a solemn finger, insuring that his point would come across clearly.

"But what?"

"There's an exception."

"Isn't there always?" Naruto sighed in exasperation.

Ignoring that question, Sasuke continued, "IF you accept the cookies...you have to let me feed you."

"W-w-what?" Naruto jumped. "Are you serious?"

"Do I look like I'm joking?"

"No."

"Okay then. So what's you answer?"

If anymore blood rushed to Naruto's face, he probably would have fainted. 'This is the first time Sasuke has ever gotten me anything. Plus...the conditions aren't really bad at all...it's kind of cute of him.'

"Um...okay." Naruto shrugged with nervous smile.

Sasuke smirked, egging his boyfriend on, "Are you sure?"

"Of course I'm sure, teme." Naruto said frowning. Once he made up his mind, it was final.

"Good." He untied the string and took out a small cookie, bringing up between them. Just as Naruto was going to take a tentative bite, Sasuke pulled it away.

"What are you doing?" the Uchiha teased.

"What are you doing?" Naruto blushed with embarrassment and pouted in confusion. He hated when Sasuke acted like this. "I thought you said you were going to-"

"I am." Sasuke smirked.

"But-"

Sasuke shushed his blonde and pulled him into his lap. He placed the cookie gently between his own teeth. His eyes seemed to have a dangerous smile as Naruto gave a soft, "Oh." and then turned a couple more shades of crimson.

"You sneaky asshole." Naruto mumbled as he shyly lowered his lips down to the saccharine treat and took a fairly good chomp. The action caused Sasuke to groan quietly, patiently waiting for their lips to meet.

Sasuke's dislike of sweets was something he'd be willing to sacrifice for only one person.
