Thileras Lunurin was a luitenant of the Silvermoon Rangers. He served under Alleria Windrunner as one of her main luitenants during the fighting against the Horde. He carried out some deph missions that would require flawless tactics and planning against the Horde. He and his group brought many victories to the Highelves. Being a liutenant of Silvermoon, he was granted, like other high ranking rangers, additions to their arcane powers. This allowed them to create more spells and magic able for their class.

But as the war went on, his group was eventually lurred, and trapped by a large army of trolls and orcs. They took many with them, but eventually Thileras had to call a retreat, with few of his men even still alive. While they retreated, Thileras turned and faught off as many as he could until he was captured. The orcs, approuving of his capabilities in battle, spared him at the command of Orgrim Doomhammer, and instead imprisoned him in one of their camps. He was there for a period of four months before he escaped.

After escaping, it wasn't long after until he heard of the attack through the Dark Portal, and the worlds recent demise. Knowing that Alleria had gone on this campaign, he was spirit broken for the lost of his mistress, who had thought Thileras to be dead, this was the same for the rest of the Highelves. He let it be, and became a mercenary for the Alliance, aiding them in killing any of the remaining orcs from Lordaeron to Stormwind. Currently it is still that few who knew about him, elves and humans alike, still believe him to be dead.
