This is actually a story i had to write for school.... the piece in the middle was in our school books and the beginning and end i wrote:P tell me what you think.....

Ann and I are on our way to the fortune-teller. “I have to tell you something.” I look to the shops we’re passing to not have to see the look on Ann’s face when I’d tell her. “I’ve got a crush on Russ.” “Really? Are you serious? I would have never thought of that.” I can hear from Ann’s voice that she was surprised but doesn’t think that I’m weird because I have a crush on Russ. We keep talking about Russ until we reach the place were we will meet Nan the fortune-teller. We sit down and before Nan or I can say anything Ann says: “would you please look for a guy named Russ?” Nan nodded without saying anything and looks deep into her crystal ball and just like the other times nothing happens for a while. As Nan concentrates on her crystal ball I look at Ann and kick her against her leg under the table. Ann doesn’t say anything she puts her hand on the spot I kicked her and she looks at me with the look: ‘WHAT? Like you don’t want it?’ Nan sees something in her crystal ball and asks us who those four guys are that she sees. “Hé that’s Russ! And Charlie, Jason and Luke.” I’m already surprised by the fact that Nan found Russ and that he’s with Charlie and Jason is nothing new but that Luke is with them is surprising. “I thought Luke didn’t like Russ?” “I know it’s weird but what are they doing in a music shop together those guys all have completely didn’t music tastes.” But before I can say that, that has got nothing to do with anything we see the guys running out of shop. Ann and I both look at Nan but she keeps looking at her crystal ball. After a few minutes Nan says: “That guy ‘Russ’ or something like that just stole some CD’s.” “Russ? Stealing CD’s? No, Russ wouldn’t do that, would he?” I look at Ann but I see that she is just as clueless as I am. “No, he wouldn’t do that, he’s not that kind of guy!” “well, I see that the guys are running into the cinema so you could go look and see for yourself.” Says Nan when she puts her crystal ball away. Ann and I don’t have to think about what Nan said twice. We thank Nan and leave the cottage and we run as quickly as we can to the cinema.
Luckily here is only one movie playing today, we buy two tickets and look for the guys. When Ann and I find the guys we go sit a couple of rows behind them. The movie is one of the worsted movie’s Ann and I have ever seen, but before Ann and I even get up we see the guys taking a run for It again. An bald old man sits in the chair Luke was sitting before. Ann and I look at each other. Ann decides to go and take a look. She stands up at walks to the row the guys were sitting on. She sees that the man is holding a couple of CD’s. ‘ohw no! it can’t be true.’ think Ann to her self, but then she sees that the man is looking at her and is coming in her direction. Ann takes a run for it and I’ve got really no choice but to follow her. I come outside of the cinema and see Ann standing at the corner of the street waving that she wants me to come. “what? What did you see?” “well I think that bald old man is Luke’s father and he was holding a couple of CD’s and I think those are the CD’s the guys stole from the music shop, we have to go to Nan again and find out what is going on!” says Ann.

We quickly make our way to Nan’s cottage and she gets her crystal ball out of it’s secret hiding place. As usual, nothing happens in it for a while. Slowly, though, the fussiness clears and all of a sudden we can see can see a group of four guys. There’s Jason, Charlie, Luke and Russ. It’s horrible to see him with that bunch of losers. I can’t bear the suspense any more. “What are they saying Nan?” “Shhh, dear, be patient.” Suddenly I realize how much I miss Russ. The seconds pass so slowly it feels like all the clocks have stopped. Then Nan says loudly, ”Ah! So I was right all along!” “What is it?” Ann and I both shout out. “Russ is being bullied. It’s been Jason and Charlie who have beaten him up last week. And he hadn’t really stolen those CD’s, it was Luke who had forced him to steal them.” “What can we do to help?” questions Ann. “Wait,” says Nan. “There’s something else! Ah, so that explains what happened with the stolen CD’s in the Cinema….” Ann stares at her, willing Nan to say more. But I’ve already worked out a theory about that for myself. I’m just about to share my theory when suddenly there’s a loud knock at the front door. We’ve all been so absorbed in Nan’s magic that we nearly jump out of our skins! Nan stands up and move towards the door. Then, out of the blue, I hear a voice in my head. The message is a scary one: “Whatever you do, don’t let Nan open the door!” I call out to Nan, but it’s too late. She pulls the door towards her and over the mat steps my worst nightmare…

It’s the bald man from the cinema, and now that I can see his face I see that Ann was right, it is Luke’s father! And the story’s that go around about Luke’s father doesn’t make this moment any better. The most known story is that Luke’s father was a burglar and killed a women who saw him and that, that was why he went to jail. Nobody knows if the story’s are true or not, but the story’s do make you want to stay away from Luke’s father and even Luke sometimes. Nan is a bit surprised that the man walking in without saying who he was or what he wanted. I could see Luke’s father looking straight at Ann with a dangerous look in his eyes. But the shape of his left pocket of his jacket draw my attention, I could see that he had put the stolen CD’s in that pocket. But what he had in his right pocket I couldn’t see, I could see the shape but I couldn’t make something out of that. Luke’s father walked to the chair Nan was sitting on before and sat down. “I know you saw me in the cinema.” he says “with the CD’s.” He takes the CD’s out of his left pocket and puts the down on the table next to Nan’s crystal ball. It looks like an accident but I know it isn’t, because just as he pulls his hand back he knocks over the crystal ball that’s falls on the ground into a thousand pieces. “what did you do? Can’t you watch out with what you are doing!? And who are you any way and what are you doing here?” shouts Nan while she falls on her knees next to the table picking up the pieces of the broken crystal ball. Without saying anything back Luke’s father puts his hand in his right pocket takes out a gun and shoots Nan threw her head. Ann and I start to scream and Luke’s father turns to us and says: “Shut up or you two are going to be next!” All Ann and I can do is do what he says or die. The look in the eyes of Luke’s father is so frightening neither of us has the courage to say or ask anything. I’ve got the feeling that we’re sitting there in silence for eternity until Luke’s father says:” okay, we got off an the wrong foot. My name is Edward and I don’t want to make a big deal out of this but I’ve got no choice, because I know what you saw and I’m not willing to risk everything and living with the fear of that two stupid young girls go to the police and tell them everything and that I’ve got to go back to jail. So now that we are here we can make a deal so that I’m sure of the fact that you two are not going to say anything to anyone.” I look at Ann and see that she’s so scared, I look at Nan’s body the blood has already reached the carpet that the table in standing on. “But I don’t understand why would Russ steal CD’s and then give then to you.” Edward looks at me and puts the gun that he shot Nan with on the table. “Do you really think I’m going to tell you that?” “ well actually, you have got no choice because if you are not going to tell us we are not making a deal with you and we will make sure you end up in jail.” says Ann who suddenly isn’t so scared anymore. Edward also looks surprised by what Ann just said, he stands up grabs the gun and steps over Nan’s body and walks into the kitchen and surprisingly I notice that he is looking for a glass. I turn to Ann and whisper: “This is our change! We can get out of here now!” “And how are you planning to do that?” “We make a run for it to the front door and we run to the police and tell them everything.” “But shouldn’t we wait and find out why Russ did that for him. I mean it’s a good idea, I guess, but we don’t really have anything against him.” ‘Shit, Ann’s right but what if he doesn’t leave us again, then there is no way that we can escape!’ as I’m pondering in my thoughts he comes back from the kitchen with a glass of water, he sits down and puts the gun down again. ”So you two want to know why those CD’s are stolen for me?” I nod but actually all I’m hoping for is that he lets us go and we never see him again. “Well, it’s not that big of a deal but if you two really want to know. I wanted a couple of new CD’s, but as you two might know if they see me doing it I’ll get a bigger punishment then if Luke would be seen doing it. But I don’t know why that Russ boy did it. I guess Luke thought is was a better idea if someone would do it. And I was waiting in the cinema for Luke and they came, the movie was over the guys left and they left the CD’s there just as I told Luke to do to, and then I went there to get the CD’s and then you came and saw me with the CD’s.” I’m not going to make a big deal out of this so, this is my offer and I’m not going to say it again. I’m going to let you two walk out of here without touching you to with one finger and you two won’t go to the police and we will forget it all.” ‘But that doesn’t make any sense, that’s why Luke forced Russ to steal those CD’s and for that he killed Nan? And us, he’s letting us go?’ I think while I look at Nan’s body on the ground and the blood that has reached the carpet. I look up to Ann and see that she started to cry. Edward stands up and says: “leave now, or I’ll shoot you two any way.” I stand up and put my arm around Ann so that she’ll come with me. As we walk pass Edward we both look at the ground to not have to see his face. I reach for the doorknob when I hear a that a gunshot behind me. A few seconds later Ann falls on the ground and I see that she’s shot in her back. I look up and see Edward standing before me pointing the gun to my head. The last thing I remember is hearing a second gunshot and then…

The end
