I've joined the community of Elfwood. I
endeavor to explore its beauty in the visual arts as well as the expressions of the printed word.

I'm from the early ages of Sword and Scorcery art that graced the covers of the Conan saga's by Ron E. Howard (the 1930's writer - not the actor/film director), and whose world (Hyberia) was continued by other artists that relished the flavors of that world in the late 60's and early 70's.

The works of Franzetta comes to mind for the visual art. However, what I aways wanted (and needed) was the assistance of visual art to help "see" the world of such work.

In the recent past I was able to enjoy a multitude of works by various authors of the "forgotten realms" world, as well as other places by a devouring trilogies and short stories given to me by an old boss (Ragnar the Drawf).

Someday I hope to become a story-teller, telling in words the stories that one gains by living and watching and learning as life contines around each of us.

To all the writers and artist in Elfwood and Elftown, you who are the 'creators' - thank you for sharing with us the less fortunate.

While we may not create your worlds, we are the ones who live to appreciate them.
