The Nature of Nature

Liquid pools of lucid charm
Sun kissed jewels reflect upon the surface
Of a bubbling stream, rich in cleansed purity
Fluidic and charming, a lone blossom floats merrily by

Never heeding the days that pass on by
Infinite in her surroundings
Crystalline movements, solid and yet soluble
Cascade steadily through time

Serenity a whole prismatic lens that shines
And glows, reflects bends and refracts
The truth
Juxtaposed by harmony and chaos

Of nature, solitude, meditation and thought

Mirage

Startled in the darkness, she reaches out and cries
She touches her reflection, the mirror a surprise
Her wet eyes find her dry ones and she gazes steadily
The face inside the mirror not what she thought it would be.
She finds herself a stranger, this new image unexpected
The strength she sees inside herself is hardly recollected
Especially by her, and truly not within this moment
While her head hangs low with cheeks still damp with the tears of her atonement.
But in this very instant she sees the reason for her power
A Goddess lives inside her, ready to rise up in this hour
Within herself she sees the need to release all of her fears
She glances into the mirror and swiftly wipes away her tears
And from this very moment she knows she only has to live
To do the best she knows she can and to give all she can give.
And so she takes her first step and heads into the night
She's the only strength she'll ever need, she now makes her own light.

Celebration!

Faces hidden,
Masked thee call,
Forget all troubles,
All woes be gone,
Through nightly shadows,
And the candle glow,
Warmth of friendship,
Adorations abound,
Whirling, twirling,
Dancing round,
Hear now!
The bell tolls the hour,
Harken the dawn glow,
Colors abound,
Every shape and form,
Show thyself,
Enjoy thy nightly pleasures,
Dance, eat, drink through all,
As the wee hours pass,
And at last free thy self,
Return to thy daily tasks,
As the eve of Hallows comes to pass,
Await the year,
Until thou can dawn thy mask again!

A Ghost Watching...

The world turned sideways looks better than it does straight.
All the lonely ones in the world see the crooked games that are played,
For they are the observers.
Watching You and your wicked Games
The Tricks you play
Making others think the world is straight when it is not so.
Go on, make your way deeper into the minds of others, settle yourself in your comfortable world, with your comfortable friends and your comfortable gaze.
Who am I to care when I am only a ghost?
Who am I to care when all that was once there is now not?
I have other goals, other realms of which appreciate my existence more than here.
I am a ghost here that haunts you, a memory.
None of the others care for a ghost to be around, therefore why should I bother to speak?
I am just the shadow you see on the wall, a part of once was and no longer is.
