-=Prose of a Humble Man=-
The tattered rags of innermost hope lay strewn across the deserted corners of my soul, taking with them that small comfort that feeds me. I have walked into the pitch, and see no way to return, my heart lay buried beneath bitter awareness, my soul chained with the knowledge of what must be and all the strength I have left to muster, has since ceased to exist as i trod onward, endlessly headlong into the abyss. I have never thought myself one to believe in the touch of another's soul, yet i find myself desperately seeking yours, at every moment, dragging forward until my body betrays me, and my breath leaves me in shallow whisps of apathetic meandering. So
mehow, I knew that i would end up this way, but never in a thousand lifetimes did i believe i would not be alone in this. The path i walk seems less endless, and though i cannot see what is before me, I know that you bear my burden with me, holding me in some unseen dream, gently whispering to me, bringing me hope. As I shall know you, so shall I love no other...
The abyss is not such a bad place now....
