Tell me once O' bitter heart
how you should be so proud
with narrow thoughts that tear apart
my words be lost though i speak aloud


Show me twice O' simple eyes
what lay before me never touched
with sight so bittersweet you cry
and I see no more, to see so much


Strike me here, O' hands of pain
apon the breast that bears my heart
with bladed sadness shall i be slain
for i have lost myself and shall depart


Bring me O' sadly troddened feet
and lead me through these hellish dreams
for i have walked the fires of hell
only to stumble into pitch it seems


I'll have nothing of this body betrayed
My self is not within the scope of me
but had i found the game it played
it might have saved some part to be


The only piece of light in me.
