Whispering Daze

Tuesday.

A day for twos, a day for sharing
A day for two for's at eateries
and sometimes a 'me too's' day.

But not today.
There is only one today, where there
was two, fifty two Tuesdays before.

There is only this day, and only one
fifty two Tuesdays from now.
My eyes will look disparingly at
the calendar on this day.
For it is a day to inflict apon all other days...

Since there is no such thing as
