- What's This About? -

Day One - Theme: [ Yellow ]

- Is "Yellow" always supposed to be a reference to sadness? What about "the small part of an egg that makes the chick, surrounded by endless whiteness"? Or better yet, what about "mmm, yummy"? Damn, I think it really DOES reference to melancholy.

Day Two - Theme: [ Picture of You ]

- Wanted to have the Turkish essence in there :D

Day Three - Theme: [ Lonesome ]

- This was an extremely hard one.
- Sailing in mere rust and dust, all alone, in the ship of sorrow.

Day Four - Theme: [ Beauty and the Beast ]

- My dog is not really the "beast" when he wags his tail and looks at you in all his innocence, but he can't stop acting on instinct sometimes. Well, actually "all the time".

Day Five - Theme: [ Water ]

- It might appear that we have control over our environment, but nature is gentle enough to give humans the illusion of control with a little play with water. Only if humans just bothered to look around and see the ocean and the wind, as the trees nearly ripped.(Havana / CUBA)

Day Six - Theme: [ Hair ]

- One of the few times it sucks to be a guy. A daily dosage of torture, and even though shaving is only partial, it feels like this most of the time.
- I reaped my face during shooting.

Day Seven - Theme: [ It's Round! ]

- What can be rounder than a fish-eye? Both literally and figuratively.

Day Eight - Theme: [ Three / 3 ]

- Fork through the watermelon.

Day Nine - Theme: [ Bottle/s ]

- Efe Raki (a Turkish liquor) and a marvelous view of the Aegean Sea through Bodrum. It really captures the essence of the bottle and what's in it.

Day Ten - Theme: [ Starts with "R" ]

- Rotting Roach (actually a horned beetle I fished out of the swimming pool, poor animal was dead already, and yes, I touched it with my bare hands :D)

2006-06-28 [Kileaiya]: You see, Cem and I share a mind. It's quite difficult him living in Turkey and me the U.S., but we manage.

2006-06-28 [spincrus]: Technology has advanced. It's all through sattelites now. It's hard, yes, but when both of our minds are stored in a single capsule orbiting the earth, it's not that big of a deal. The only thing is, we both need to carry around a huge sattelite dish wherever we go.
