Today was an absolute explosion of "wow. I'm bored." So I got to reading. And After reading all sortsa wikis on both sides of this "Prep/Goth" argument- No, I prefer the word "spat"- Decided this:
Huh. I don't care.
   I'm thinking using something that the "goths" miss by a mile, and the "preps" notice, but fail to care about. I like to call it logic.
   I mean, living in this thing we like to call... uhh, reality.... what you consider yourself to be is bullshit. get into the real world, and no one is going to care about your label anymore.
   You "goths" can be depressed and nonconforming all you want. Truth is, nobody's gonna give a damn but you. Most people have bigger fish to fry than contemplating your self-inflicted misery.
   And the "preps" can complain and be closed-minded all you frickin want. The goths are never going to care. The rest of us, who aren't either category, aren't going to care.
  You ask me, y'all have a lot in common. You're both out to prove something, though what in both cases escapes me entirely. You're both trying to win this senseless argument, while failing to realize that no matter what you say, the other side is NEVER going to listen.
     So this wiki is for everyone, prep, goth, or otherwise, who realizes that this whole spat, and it will never be more than a spat, is pretty damn pointless.

Or perhaps I'm just doing this because I think making people mad over opinions I have is fun. I like watching them squirm.

Don't get me wrong, I have friends who are considered "goths", and friends who are considered "preps", and they've all heard this argument before.
