Here begins the tale of several groups of survivors after their world is turned upside down. From hurricanes and typhoons to meteor showers and disease. Then come the wars. Food is scarce and humans are growing frantic, many homes and families have been destroyed, the ties of friendship severed. And above all else: those that have adapted and been gifted.
