Dawn Won the Daily Poem

Dawn is approaching,
drawing ever so near,
the bright and shining starlight,
will soon dissappear.

The black of the night
in which we all sleep,
will soon turn into sunlight
across the valleys deep.

The colors purple, red, and pink,
soon come into view
along with orange and violet,
tis a beautiful hue.

Dawn is coming,
coming ever so near,
it kills out all darkness
it kills every fear.

So come with me,
look at the sky,
see the now appearing trees,
and the birds begining to fly.

Dawn is approaching,drawing ever so near.

My Heart

Deep, deep, within my heart
I have a tiny little dart
tiny, shiny, sharp and black
thrown at me because I lacked.
I lacked the feel to be normal,
And I wasn't all that formal.
For you see, I chose to be the diff.
and everyone acted like that was one big biff.
But now today, I am going to say
my feelings and my thoughts though you may
judge me by my acts and deeds
what this person really needs
is to be accepted, whoever I am
and to not be treated like some little sham.
For each and every little dart,
that pierces my beating heart,
I draw farther and farther away,
though I wish to stay.
Treat me kindly, and for what I am take,
or else this (pierced) heart of mine shall break.

(One for leaving it in, and one for taking it out.)

Untitled (More of a Fun-short Poem)

Come hither! Come frither!
And try as you might,
you shan't find here
a single ray of light.

Heart New

Cut me up in pieces,
tear me all a part,
laugh and point at me,
then break my fragile heart.

Say that you don't love me,
say that you don't care,
then watch as I wither away
and watch my heart tear.

For my heart is scared of breaking,
for it's been borken before,
I've just got done mending
what the last person tore.

So please don't break my fragile heart,
the heart that needs to love,
but then again, it may be best,
to let me be a lonesome dove.

Book New

My life is an open book,
blank pages bound by love,
my heart and soul and mind
are like a fleeting dove.

Flying from my life,
filled with grief and pain,
broken promises and regrets
topped off by hate and shame.

But then there is a flicker,
a perishing hope of light,
like a melting candle,
trying to battle the dark night.

My life is that of oppisites,
of harmony and war,
all little reminders
of how the binding's tore.

Little by little it pulls apart,
dragging farther and farther away,
showing me how very close
is my final day.

So help me fill this book,
with happy memories,
the good, the bad, the oh - so - sad,
and the sweet dove's melodies.

World New

They say the world is changing,
and I admit, that's true
but it's not as far away as you think,
all the changing starts with you.
You can make a differance,
making changes for the good,
because there are people out there
who don't do as much as they could.
So we have to pick up the slack,
and make up for what they don't do,
to save this world of ours,
and to keep our skies blue.
So recycle your cans,
and reuse your paper,
or maybe one day
our world just might be danker.

Wish Really, really old

Have you wished upon a shooting star,
that you can see from a far?

Just on that one starry night,
before the world turned on the light.

Before the sun began to rise,
and filled your heart with suprise.

So remember this phrase
which will last throughtout the days.

When you wish upon a star,
makes no differance who you are,

Your one desire will come true,
your one wish will come to you.

Moonlit Walks and Starry Nights
Me first not ryhming poem. Be gentle.

Every night I walk,
along the brightest stars
creating my own path
along the blackened row.
The moon shines ahead,
the Earth is behind,
and now all there is,
is peace in the skies.
Every night I dream
of the most wonderful places.
And when I awake,
I plead in my head,
"Take me there, take me there."

I cannot New

I cannot be heard, for no one will listen.
I cannot be seen, for no one will look.
I cannot be helped, for no one will care.
I cannot be saved, for is none but me.

Helpnew

Help your neighbor, who needs the hand,
Help your friend by taking a stand,
Help our people become what they should be,
And be a shining light for all to see.

Never New

Never shed a tear,
for I'll always be near.
I'll be in you heart,
and we shall not part.

So don't cry for me,
you know I'll always be,
I'll be with you forever,
and I'll leave you never.

You'll have the memories,
our sweet song's melody,
the days we spent together,
how we stuck through all life's weather.

So go on, stay strong,
live for me - nice and long.
Remember, I'm in your heart,
and never shall we part.
