Avandra Nightroad

Age: 19
Appearance: Avandra is around five foot seven with long black hair that flows down past her hips and bright blue eyes that flash red at times. She is thin with a great figure; she can be very graceful, but usually puts little effort into it, though she’s by no means clumsy.
Around town Avandra usually wears corsets and skirts of varying lengths. Her skirts almost always have a slit up the right side, while it would seem that this is simply to catch men’s eyes—and in part it is—its true purpose is to provide her with easy access to a hidden weapon. When she is outside of town on “family business” or doing other things which a skirt would be inappropriate for, she wears black chaps and boots and a white blouse and black waist-cincher corset. On longer journeys and in the cold she also wears a long black duster.
Personality: Avandra is quiet, tough, streetwise. She usually doesn’t say much, but she is always listening, and she often surprises people when she finally speaks up. She is rather level-headed most of the time, and sometimes even comes across as cold. In town, few dare mess with her, not just because of her family name, but also because she can hold her own. Under her hard exterior though, she hides a sweet side that few but her grandfather, Father Nightroad, have seen since she was very young.
History: Avandra is rather different from the rest of the Nightroad family. She tends to avoid contact with all but her grandfather, Father Nightroad, and disassociates herself from them. In town she does not adopt the pack mentality than many of the Nightroads possess, returning with more family members to settle lost disputes, instead she deals with her own problems, and she handles herself quite well. Out of town she usually goes by an assumed last name, preferring not to draw attention to herself or let people know about her background. She has lived a rather un-interesting life, at least as far as Nightroads go, as her family rarely allows her to take care of “family business” due to her “unhealthy” interest in Vampires.
