Lava





First Level:

Stone to Magma – Turns [  ] cubic feet of rock into molten lava

Ash-cloud – Creates a storm of ash [  ] feet around the caster that floats from the sky, obscuring vision and covering everything in the radius in a thick layer of ash

Weeping Earth - A steady trickle of lava seeps from the ground in a radius of ten feet over 3 turns, upon which it hardens over with the lava beneath, and after 5 turns it hardens completely.

Volcanic Gas - a cloud of noxious gases, with a 20% chance of poisoning and a 10% chance of blinding, forms over the target for 1 turn.

Plume of Ash - A blinding plume of ash erupts from the caster's palm, blinding up to 3 adjacent enemies for up to 4 turns.

Explosive Rock - Heat from the Earth warms a rock until the rock explodes, sending rock chips in all directions. The heating of the rock occupies a full turn.



Second Level:

Metamorphic Blade - The caster creates a blade fashioned from metamorphic rock. The size of the blade is sdetermined by the caster's ability and forms either a dagger, shortsword or a longsword. The blade lasts until it is broken, or combat ends.

Lava Stream – 7 cubic feet of molten lava shoots from the caster’s palm in a stream, coving whatever it douses in extremely hot liquid rock, which will then harden, creating a hard layer of stone.

Noxious Gas - Similar to Volcanic Gas, Noxious Gas has a 40% chance of poisoning and a 20% chance of causing sleep.

Volcano – Creates a miniature volcano where the caster wishes. It rises from the earth spouting lava and lava-bombs near where it is created.

Geyser Shield - A plume of lava erupts and hardens in mere moments, forming a shield 180 degrees around the caster seven feet high in a quarter-sphere. This shield erodes after 5 turns.



Third Level:

Geyser Field - Similar to Volcano, 6 miniature volcanos form on the battlefield and spew lava randomly throughout 6 turns. The number of geysers increases by 1 every 3 levels, beginning at level 25.

Molten Shield - A disk of lava rises and spins around the caster, deflecting blows and arrows with an extra defensive value to the caster for 90 Seconds.

Magma Shower – Creates a small shower of 10 magma-bomblets in the direction the caster is indicating. The number increases by 3 every 5 levels, beginning at level 20.

Lava shackles - Lava creeps up the targets legs, causing burn damage for 3 turns and hardening into rock. The shackles immobilise movement for up to 4 turns, but may be broken with a saving roll.



Fourth Level:

Volcanic Glyph - Allows the caster to inscribe a rune on the floor, or on a surface such as a door or chest. This rune then becomes invisible to anyone except the caster. Then stepped on, or when the object with the rune inscribed on it is touched it creates a huge explosion, damaging the one who touched it and everyone and everything in a [  ] foot radius. This spell causes [  ]D[  ] damage

Molten Form - The caster can transmute their body into a molten form, which gives +5 to both attack and defense. The caster can no longer perform non-lava spells in this form, nor can the caster use weapons. This spell lasts until the end of combat

Ring of Fire - A ring of lava, upsurging 10 feet into the air 3 feet from the caster, forms an impenetrable wall around the caster for 1 turn. Any caught inside the ring will be burned alive, and the lava flies in every direction from the top to hit the ground randomly as solidified rock 1-3 turns later.



Fifth Level:

Grenade – Pulls a chuck of earth from the ground which is superheated to magma, using heat from the earth’s core, this lump of magma hardens due to the coolness of air and then explodes, sending splatters of molten lava and hard fragments of rock in a [  ] radius

Mafic - An elemental of pure condensed metamorphic rock, the Mafic stands at a mere 5 feet, but is so heavy that it can literally crack earth. Taking one step per turn in it's summoner's stead, the heat from Mafic's body transfers through cracks which appear randomly under it's footfalls. Mafic is literally indestructible, but will stiffen into immobility after 4 turns and must be broken while immobile to rescue it's summoner.
Cost: Removes the summoner from combat and the summoner must rest for 24 hours before they are able to move of their own accord.
