Physical Appearance: Cane is around the height of an elf, his mixed heritage meaning he is not as tall as a Druid but not as short as a Sprite. He is as thin as a Sprite and thus just as nimble and light on his feet, though he disguises this with his large nazy blue cloak. His hair is dark and his eyes are a shining blue, sometimes they can unnerve people because they have the disturbing habit of staring into your soul. His ears are thin and pointed, though usually hidden underneath his curly hair. Like all druids he is strong and that coupled with his sprite speed means he can be a formidable enemy but only when pushed since he, like all druids, chooses the serene path. He carries a twisted and coiled staff on him at all times, embedded with a large blue stone that is drawn out and twists around the head of his staff like a snake to show he studies the water element.
Personality: Cane is serene, like all Druids. Though his Sprite heritage has also effected his personality, giving him a cunning mind and quick hands. He has noticed that his gaze, his ability to see truth and his smooth talking can intimidate and manipulate people if needed. He finds speaking in riddles easy, impressing those who don’t know of his parent’s by being so well spoken. He does not rely on magic at all times, sometimes finding that slight of hand can just as easily impress someone. He is very loyal to those who earn it, making him a powerful ally. Cane is not used to people talking to him so he can be rather defensive at times and will never go and talk to someone.
A Brief History: Caneos Naiadnal was born to a very young druid and a old sprite meaning that his mother died before he grew up. His father looked after Cane by himself though he hid him in the sprite forest of Neri instead of the Druids homeland because he knew that his mixed sprite and druid blood would mean his fellow druids would look down upon Caneos. As his father was nearly always out he had nothing but to read his father’s books. His abundance for water magic was revealed when he created a miniature storm above a farmers plot one very hot summer. Then he started training under his father in the ancient language of magic, amazing his fellow Druids at his power over the water element thought his father knew why he was so powerful. His power did not get unnoticed by the realm of men though, pirates from the Aael sea noticed large disturbances around Neri and deduced that there must have been someone powerful there messing with the seas. Knowing this they ransacked Neri, searching for someone more powerful than the normal sprites. They came across his father a slaughtered him, Cane was hiding inside the house to avoid detection. He moved away from home at 20, young for a druid but already surpassing his father, and moved away from Neri. Crossing across the desert lands to Daeloreden by only using his water powers he began studying harder, for nearly 6 years never without a book on the ancient tongue in front of him. The secret reason for his intense studying was to control the sea‘s to wipe out the pirates that had murdered his father, while doing so coming across a book about a orb or power that could elevate the user to the equal of a god. He was avoided when he lived in Daeloreden because his parentage was unsure, he looked slightly elfish so no one really questioned him. Many people thought he was a Dennon Ranger since he wasn’t following the Fellowship so they were not surprised that he consorted with those of different races.
Other: He likes to be alone so sometimes if there is someone who is really annoying him he will attempt to unnerve them. He also likes to trick cheating street performers with his own slight of hand.
