Personality: Generally good natured, Charles is the kind of person you can always count on to help out. Dedicated to his friends colleagues, he often pushes himself (sometimes to his own detriment) to come through for others. While he tries outwardly to seem confident and sociable, he is very reserved and has a tendency to over think things when dealing with others. Living in his own headspace most of the time, he can seem distant and detached at times, often thinking of some subject or another; If actually prompted on a subject he has some knowledge or idea about (which includes a rather wide array of trivia), he usually becomes a fountain of information, even a bit belligerent with it, though he doesn't mean to intimidate, he just genuinely enjoys talking about such subjects. Much more at home with a few people than in a crowd, he prefers open air and empty buildings to crowded clubs and bars, but is able to enjoy himself almost anywhere if he sets his mind to it. Tends to think of himself as somewhat above average, but not in regards to his friends, manifesting more as a general ennuit towards society at large. Often worries about coming off conceited. Ascribes to a 'live and let live' ideology, taking the idea that if a person isn't interfering with his life, he has no business interfering with theirs.

Appearance: Somewhat ruddy complexion, short brown hair spiked with a bit of blue, pale grey eyes. His limbs are somewhat lanky, with a broad chest. He stands 6'5", and tends to dress somewhat casually, but almost always with a button up shirt. Has been known don dress vests and top hats or fedoras when he feels like standing out a bit. An Average build, at 300 lbs he weighs more than one might assume at first glance, but this is more from his size than anything else.

Brief History: Born in Canada, Charles youth was an awkward mix of alienation from his peers and refuge in books and learning. Attending a french catholic school (though not catholic), he often found himself at odds with both teachers and students, being raised more to question than to accept religious instruction at face value. His parents, being Unitarians, instilled a desire to learn about all faiths and beliefs rather than accept anyone single answer, and to always investigate and seek to understand what he was being taught. This often did not mesh very well with the teaching style of the school, as one could imagine. Finding himself more often than not outside the main social group, he took to reading and learning as much as he could, delighting in discovering new ideas and facts. Through a long and rather frustrating process, he eventually over came the pathological esteem issues that once plagued him (though certain vestiges remain), and has been able to make some close friends. Has continued to foster his thirst for ideas and experiences as he grew, and Has explored various alternative scenes and movements, a firm believer in freedom of thought and expression and the inherent subjectivity of morality. Currently attending College for civil engineering after a stint in university studying history and literature, having found himself much more at home working with his hands and able to think freely than forced to tailor his ideas to another's expectations.
