2006-09-24 [Titanium Tiger]: wow interesting I like the posing area I would like to make my drawings more realistic but with magna yeah kno can you help??
2006-09-24 [Zardra]: thanks =)
I think my style is a mix of manga and realistic too. How can I help? hehee, look at the tutorial ;D
2006-09-24 [Titanium Tiger]: I did but Idont really understand!! umm can you expalin how?
2006-09-24 [Zardra]: start by drawing the basics: start with the head and measure the rest of the body with that. When the basic measures are there, start drawing the details of the body. There are a lot of good books about the human body and muscularity, so you can learn where the muscles go and how long the individual limbs are. After that start shadowing so you can make it look more alive and 3D... it all takes some time to learn, but the only way to learn is to draw ^__^
2006-09-24 [Titanium Tiger]: ^^ thats totaly right!!^^ I love to draw and I think Im pretty good but I havetrouble with portions !! making things bigger thatn the other of stuff like that~
2006-09-25 [Zardra]: it's easiest to first make the portions and then draw the muscles and stuff over it, so everything will be the right size ^_^
Sometimes the heads I draw turn huge though, no matter how I try to make sure that they are all the right size. lol =P
2006-09-25 [Titanium Tiger]: Im oposite!!I usually draw the body frist then the head so my heads are usually too small!!lol^^
2007-08-28 [Chrysilla]: I'm trying to draw a man (my first time >.>) for a contest, and I have a really hard time with it, I hope your tutorial will help!
2007-09-14 [Zardra]: I hope so too! ^^ If it doesn't, let me know and I can make more tutorials. I actually have one new tutorial I should upload at some point ^; (So sorry it took forever to reply!)
2007-09-14 [Chrysilla]: It actually did help, thank you! The image isn't high quality drawong, but at least I got the proportions right
Can't wait for your new tutorial! Good work!
