Necious smiled at her & slowly made his way into the house, to him she was as light as ever. When he reached his room, he turned his back to the bed & sat down so that she was sitting behind him now, he then lay her back & turned so he was facing her as they lay there now. He just put his arms around her & let his head rest against her, he sighed lightly just latting his body rest.

Deltira smiled only slightly crookedly and ran her fingers through his hair, which also helped her to relax. Although she still felt a deep down frustration at the state of her house, because of their earlier visitor. She sighed.

Necious smiled & curled against Deltira, he just smiled at getting to hold her. He nuzzles his head into her & kept her close, he was happy when near her.

Deltira frowned to herself and fidgeted a little. She started running repairs and costs through her head, and of course the places she'd have to go to get replacement equipment. "Know someplace with good scraps and spare parts by any chance?" She asked and bit her lip. She hadn't meant to ask aloud.

Deltira wandered around her front path, disarming most of the traps. She was preparing for a visitor today... but she left a few on just to make sure her visitor didn't think she was to eager to see them.

Along the road to Deltira's house a stranger came wandering in magerobes and a staff in one hand and a spellbook in the other, whistling an common yet innocent wanderer tune.

Deltira heard the whistling and her head snapped around, and she glared at the stranger.

Gildor whom the stranger was grinned cheerfully and waved. "Heya! Sorry it took so long but had to regain my properties from a longfingered Kender." He said cheerfully before walking over towards her, yet with careful steps as he knew how she loved her traps.

"I disarmed them, you idiot. Why else do you think I'm out here running around on the front path where anyone going by can see me." She continued to glare.

Gildor smiled. "Oh! Okay, well it's a lovely weather so I thought you might be out getting some sun, or just because you wanted to greet me in person when I came." He grinned while walking a little more carelessly over towards her while eying the ground for traps he remembered from previous visits. "You should really go out more, it's a shame that people get robbed the pleasure of seeing the gorgeous figure of you." He said with an honest smile.

Deltira lifted a sarcastic eyebrow. "I'm sure. The only person who appreciates my figure is you. Left a bit. I haven't finished all of them." She said pointing at one of the paving stones he was about to step on.

Gildor avoids the paving stone agilely and does a sort of pirouette to finally stand before her and wrap his arms around her waist cheekily and looks into her eyes and says seriously. "Who couldn't appreciate the sight of you?"

Deltira rolled her eyes, but didn't avoid Gildor. "Anyone sane!" She answered.

Gildor attempted to look saddened. "You don't think I'm sane?" He asked with big wet puppy eyes.

Deltira crossed her arms and stuck her nose into the air. "No, as a matter of fact I don't!"

Gildor grinned. "Oh well, never tried to claim I was anyway... Doesn't mean I don't like to see you any less though." He said with a broad grin as he hugged in a little more then friendly hug.

Deltira grinned up at him, "Well, that simply proves you're insane!"

Gildor smirks. "What does it matter anyway, doesn't change how much it thrills me to see your features each time."

Deltira wrinkled her nose, "You're a flatterer!"

Gildor smiled kindly. "I'm just honest..." He said softly while looking deeply into her eyes.

Deltira started to flush from embarrassment, which also made her a little angry at the same time. "You're making fun of me!" She said pushing at him a little.

Gildor grinned and nibbled on her ear then when he had her attention again he smiled and shook his head. "You know I wouldn't make fun of you."

"Sure, I thought you made fun of everything." Deltira said.

"Not everything..." He said with a gentle smile as he wrapped his arms around her again.

Deltira finally relented and relaxed. She whispered, "Well, I won't admit it, but it is good to see you again."

Gildor grinned and bit his underlip. "How good?" He asked whispering as he sneaked his head closer to her neck.

Deltira laughed and pushed him away, "Don't push it!"

Gildor chuckled and admired her features meaningfully. "What? I was just wondering how good it was to see me, what harm is there in that?" He asked with a evil smirk.

"Plenty!" She answered.

Gildor smirked. "Oh really? Like what?" He asked meaningfully, wishing for her to say it.

"My state of mind!" She growled.

Gildor clicked with his tongue and walked over and placed his arms around her comfortingly. "There, there... Didn't mean to upset you, was just... Being flirtatious I suppose, then again.. Can you really blame me?"

"Of course I can! I always blame you!" She said, a trifle teasingly.

Gildor chuckled and dared give her neck a quick yet soft and gentle kiss. "Well as long as you don't get angry at me then I don't mind."

"I'm always angry too!" She said baring her delicate fangs at him.

Gildor shivered when remembering those fangs biting on to him and the thought made him grin more while biting on his underlip devilishly. "Guess I just got to find something to calm that anger with then... Don't I?" He asked while moving down to kiss her neck again.

"Not likely to work!" She answered.

Gildor grinned. "Okay, what might work then?" He asked with a soft chuckle as he didn't actually expect an answer in return.

"Well, something decent to eat might be nice. I have to get some groceries I'm afraid." Deltira thought of the mess her kitchen was in.

Gildor smiled. "Okay, then let's go then... I know just the place too." He said with a grin as he offered her his arm.

She took his arm with a lopsided smile, "Now I have to turn all my traps back on! Luckily, on is easier for me than off." Del lifted her glove and pointed to one of the buttons along the side, "Remote control... Oh! My crossbow!" Now she took off hopping at intervals back into the house to get her crossbow, because she never went anywhere without it.

Gildor chuckled. "I feel honored that you didn't greet me with that one... Must mean I'm special." He said with a smirk.

Deltira popped out of one of the lower story windows and seemed to weave across the lawn instead of taking the door and the direct path (incidentally missing the lawn traps) "Oh, I don't need to turn you into a chicken to deal with you." She smiled wickedly.

Gildor grinned. "Oh, believe me I know, but still that you don't have it when greeting me still makes me feel honored."

Deltira shook her head, mock sadly, "And people think I'm crazy."

Gildor chuckles. "That's just as much because you want them to believe that, you silly.." He grinned as he took her hand in his and took it up to his lips and kissed them gently.

Deltira didn't resist, she leaned on him for a moment before answering, "Of course, it's such fun!!! You on the other hand, really are crazy!"

Gildor chuckled. "Well I have never stated that I wasn't and yeah I have noticed, you have made the nearby villages nearly terrified of you." He smiled and enjoyed having her that close, at least for the moment.

Deltira's oddly colored eyes took on a faraway look and a faint smile touched her lips. "I love how they cower, it's so funny, and imagine a stranger watching them running away from so small and "harmless" looking a person as myself."

Gildor grinned. "Then think about what they will think of me walking with you like this, they think you're crazy, then think about how terrified they'll be of seeing you smile... They'll expect something go boom and blast of the entire village!" He said with laughter. "Not to mention thinking I'll be crazy..." He chuckled softly at the thought.

"Now that would be fun! Let's blow something up!" Then she added with a pointed elbow to his hip, "And you are crazy! I've already said that." She grinned a little at him, "Which is probably the only reason I like you, I know it's the only reason you can possibly like me."

Gildor chuckled. "You would love that wouldn't you? And yeah I never did say anything else either, just noticing that they would think so and well no I would like you even if I was sane."

Deltira folded her hands behind her head and strolled a little while looking upward, "Sure, and I really believe that! It takes someone crazy to be friends with someone as... shall we say creepy?... as me!"

Gildor looked a little disappointed but in a jesterly way. "I thought we were past being just friends.... And well I wouldn't call you creepy."

Deltira wrinkled her nose, "That's why I keep insisting your crazy. And what else would you have me call you." She stopped and looked him in the eye, as best she could at her height.

Gildor blushed brightly especially because of her looking at him like that and tried to divert his gaze. "Well... Something other then just friend anyway I would think after what we've been through."

Deltira grinned wickedly, "Well maybe, you just let me know when the right term comes to you!"

Gildor grinned with a soft blush as he looked back at her. "I will..."

Deltira wrinkled her nose and gestured that he should lead the way.

Gildor smiled and did as she wished and lead on to the shop he thought of. "Want to take a slice of bread and perhaps something to drink when we arrive?" He asked with a grin over his shoulder.

"So long as it's not moldy I'm not going to complain." She had been eating from her rather messy kitchen for a while now... with oil and various other unpleasant mechanical liquids on her hands and the rest of her.

Gildor chuckled. "I doubt it will be." He said cheerfully and went on, sort of bouncing of happiness then grinned as he saw the shop he was looking for. "Ahh!! There is it! Come on dear Deltira, let's hurry!"

Deltira followed him in, curious about the establishment, but she made a point of half hiding behind Gildor so that the other's in the shop would not see her until she was ready to show herself.

Gildor grinned and slowed down to her pace again, knowing how she preferred to do things, he entered first into the shop and sniffed in the freshbaked bread smell and the slight spiced scent of the various ingredients and drinks and other things the place had to offer. "Aaah.... It's been a while since I was here last..."

Deltira also sniffed, and her stomach growled slightly at the delicious scents. She whispered up at Gildor from behind his back, "You are a bad man!"

Gildor smiled charmingly, acting as if he hadn't heard her stomach growl. "What do you mean dear?"

Now it was Deltira herself that growled, "This better not be too expensive! I don't have that much money you know. Not many people around here are actually willing to buy my machines... assuming I'd trust them."

Gildor chuckled. "Who also said I'd allow you to pay?" He asked with a devilishly sweet voice.

"Allow?" Deltira's voice had a dangerous edge to it, and her eyes were hidden.

Gildor grinned and soothed his words off by kissing her cheek. "Of course, no way I'll let you pay if we're going to go on a date... What kind of a guy do you think I am?" He asked with a raised eyebrow while laughing hysterically on the inside he kept it cool and calm on the outside.

"Hopefully the intelligent kind." She grumbled just slightly under her breath.

Gildor smiled. "Well I am a mage after all... So some intelligence I must have, well now... Shall we?" He asked as he motioned towards a pair of empty seats in the dining area.

Deltira glared for a moment but then shrugged and almost fell into her seat, then glared around the room and the other customers that were trying to subtly move away or jump through windows.

Gildor smiled and turned to the maid that was serving and made her noticed of that they wished to order. "What would you like by the way? They got just about anything, even Dwarfbread..." He grinned at that one then looked at her expectingly.

"Anything huh?" Deltira tried to think of something particularly difficult, but still something she wanted before asking, "Sarmese Paze Potato, two, and ginger tea with some lemon juice in it." She said finally, and sat back in her chair with an expression that boded trouble for the cook if she didn't get exactly what she wanted.

Gildor grinned and then ordered four specially spiced potatoes and a lumb of bread and some white elven wine which the maid came with some minutes later. "Do enjoy..." She said with a forced smile. "Thank you, we will." Gildor returned with a smile as she left then turned to face Deltira with a brighter and more heartfelt smile. "Hope you find it to your liking." He said as he picked up his fork and started to dig in, occationly sipping of his wine.

"Oh probably, it doesn't take much to beat my cooking." She grinned and sniffed her potato, "The cheese isn't off at least." She used her fork on her potato and dug in with an appetite. A look of bliss spread across her face and her eyes half-closed like a cat's.

Gildor smiled. "You look cute when happy..." He said straight out, halfmindedly as he didn't really think of what he was saying, just saying.

Deltira scowled a little but the expression quickly vanished as she continued to eat her potato and drink her tea. "Well, it's not quite as fun as blowing things up or making machines, but... " She added in a faint whisper, "thank you."

Gildor's smile grew. "You're welcome." He sat there, hardly even eating himself, just watching her eat with a blissful smile.

Deltira smiled and watched the waitress and various other people either stare or try to get away from them. "This is nice... I don't get out nearly often enough." She said just to watch the look of panic on their faces.

Gildor grinned. "No, it's really a shame I think... People should be allowed to see your gorgeous face and the rest of you of course too, well clothed of course... Or perhaps in swimsuit if we go swimming... That sounds like fun actually..."

Deltira lifted an eyebrow at him, "As if I'd ever wear a swimsuit." She shuddered.

Gildor grinned. "Awww... Why not? You would look good in one... Especially one of those new fancy two piece ones..." He smirked viciously.

Deltira glared at him, "What would be the point? I'd just get one of them things messy and they wouldn't need any more holes, being as little as they are." She gestured at several of the stapled up holes in her own outfit.

Gildor grinned. "Hmm... You're only making me want to buy it even more... Even if it'll only be for personal show..." He smirked devilishly then grinned as he took her hand in his and kissed it. "Sorry, I should be more of a gentleman instead of trying to make you blush in such naughty ways, but I just love to see you when it is I manage to make you blush..."

Deltira freed her hand. "Well, you seem to like scars a lot." She said wryly.

Gildor smirked. "I like yours... Every last one of them, also like to kiss them gently in turn."

"Well, some people are strange that way I suppose." She said poking a little at one of the scars on her face.

Gildor grinned and kissed that one. "Perhaps, that though doesn't mean I enjoy it any bit less... By the way, do you intend on saying you don't enjoy it as well when I do kiss them the way I do?"

Deltira crossed her arms and leaned back on her chair with a faint smile on her face, "I haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about."

Gildor smirked viciously. "Oh? Want me to show you then? You know I'm crazy enough to do it... Even infront of all these people." He said with a wide devilish smirk.

Deltira glanced at him and grinned, "You are, but it might ruin my reputation, to let you do that without doing something horrible to you."

Gildor smirked. "Hmm... Sounds as if you where actually going to let me do it..."

Deltira replied,"Ya! If you wanna be turned into a chicken!?!?"

Gildor grinned. "I don't mind, I've tried it before..." He smirked viciously. "So you don't mind then? Even with all these people?"

"Do we truly need to freak them out even more?" She looked around at the staring audience that tried to pretend they weren't staring as soon as she glanced at them.

Gildor smirked. "Oh I'm sure they've seen worse."

"Really, and what could possibly be worse to them." Deltira asked pointedly, as she finished her potato.

Gildor grinned. "Well trolls for one, ogres.... Orcs as well... There's plenty of things!" He said with a smile as he took a bite of his own spiced potato and took a sip of his wine.

"Oh I don't know, I'm pretty sure orcs and ogres just threaten to kill them, not turn them into weird and unusual things." A small smile drifted across Deltira's face. "Reminds me to return that poor woman's footstool I borrowed." She lifted an eyebrow daring Gildor to ask.

Gildor raised an eyebrow. "Footstool? Heh, only you my dear... Only you... And well it was me you said you would turn into something, haven't said anything about them... And either way then weither or not they have been threatened to be killed by them or not is not important, what would be important if they have seen it, that would be worse either way.."

Deltira shook her head in disappointment. "I meant, of course, the poor woman's husband. He just happens to make a great footstool for my poor little feet." She looked thoughtfully at Gildor, "Well, if I return the husband I might just need a new footstool for a while."

Gildor grinned. "Oh really? And who did you just have in mind then?"

"Well... how are you at holding very still?" She smiled back.

Gildor chuckled. "Oh really? And well I'd say myself I'm fairly good at it, but I'm better at moving, especially my fingers... A little side effect of being a mage."

In through the doors to the tavern/inn/diner steps a small, near childlike figure with bright clothes and a long ponytail and a staff in a odd shape and a bag and lots of pouches hanging from his belt and travel packs hanging from his shoulders, he whistled a cheerful tone while bouncing further towards the counter.

Deltira growled as the newcomer passed rather closer to her than was comfortable. She pointed her crossbow at him without thinking.

The small nearly childlike figure looked up at the crossbow with big eyes. "Huh? What did I do?"

"Watch where you're walking or I'll turn you into a water buffalo!" Deltira growled.

From a distance, a black hawk with a few blue feathers spread through it's head crest sat on a branch & watched from a tree as it sat there. It had sky blue eyes & it's left eye was a milky white color, from losing it a long time back.

The Kender that it turned out to be suddenly got big eyes and jumped up and down excited. "Really! You can do that?! Oh can I try then? Please?"

Gildor sighed. "You should not have said that to a Kender..." His eyes then caught the sight of a hawk in the distance. "Hmm..."

The hawk screeched & then swooped down to the ground just below the tree, is hopped a little closer to the three on the ground. Then screeched again, but tilted it's head to the side & fluffed it's feathers out.

Gildor blinked. "What the... What is that hawk trying to do...?"

The hawk screeched again & fluffed it's feathers once more, then tilted it's head in the other direction. It hopped closer towards them & it's right eye payed more attention to them, while the left eye stayed still.

Gildor blinked. "What the... Okay there is definitely something peculiar about that hawk... For one, the eyes look more calculative then a bird's whom mainly work on instinct."

The hawk hopped a little closer towards them & looked at Gildor more than the others, then screeched loudly again.

Gildor held for his ears for a moment then smiled. "There now, why not show us yourself? That would be more polite anyway." He said and looked at the hawk.

Finally the hawk clicked it's beak together & then said to Gildor mentally," If i changed to my human form right now, it would be most unpolite to the woman & it would be disrespectful as well. I need a place to change form, so that i can get my clothing from my bag just behind that tree & that way i won't be naked when i stand before you in my true form." She tilted her head to the other side again & then turned hopping towards the tree, as if showing him where her bag was.

Gildor grinned and went after with a blush. "Okay, yeah you got a point there.... Just thought you'd shapeshift along with your clothes, but I guess it's different for a natural shape-shifter, I guess you also can stay in that form longer then us mere mages."

Kelsey slowly made her way around the tree & then jumped onto her bag, then stared up at Gildor. She cooed softly & then waited for him to pick up her bag, once he did that she aimed on jumping onto his shoulder.

Gildor smiled and picked up the bag gently and let her jump onto his shoulder then headed back to the tavern and placed the bag inside a free room and let her stay then went back down to Deltira.

Moments later Kelsey came back down & stood in a pair of black baggy jeans, a dark blue tank top with a black leather trench coat on over her clothes. On the back of the trench coat was a tribal design, it was in a dark blue thread & her left eye was covered in a black patch. There was a tribal design on it as well, it matched the one on her trench coat & she wore a pair of black knee high leather army boots. Her hair framed her face & she stretched, then glanced around before looking towards Gildor & the others.

Gildor smiled and waved. "Ah, so that's how you look in human form, very nice... By the way, Name is Gildor, this beauty beside me is Deltira."

The Kender smiled and walked over and stretched out his hand. "And my name is Mewmew, nice to meet you."

Kelsey smiled then said lightly in a soft tone," Nice to meet you Gildor, Deltira & Mewmew. My name is Kelsey Londavin, as you can already tell, i'm a shape-shifter & to answer your question from before Gildor. Yes i can hold my forms for as long as i want to, but if i get hurt then i must chose a form that i would feel more comfortable in & stay in that form untill i get better." She spoke truthfully & honestly to them, she felt a little strange being around new people though.

Gildor smiled. "Impressive, and very interesting as well." He took out a book and wrote that down.

Mewmew stood still holding out his hand with a big smile.

Kelsey just smiled down at Mewmew, then said lightly," I'm sorry, but i don't shake hands with people & i say that because to many had tried to steal things from me when i did shake hands with them. It's nothing against you, but it's just how i am now & i hope that doesn't offend you." She patted the little Kenders head & then walked towards Deltira, as well as Gildor.

Mewmew smiled. "That's okay, I understand, there is a lot thieves walking around here, no problem!" He said cheerfully then walked back to the counter as he took up a article of clothing from one of his bags. "Eh? What's this? When did I find this one? The form looks oddly familiar..." He held it up for a better look as it turned out to be a piece of cloth shaped to two triangles held together by a thread and one thread going from the top of each triangle to another thread that went from the opposite corner then the one holding the two triangles together.

Kelsey stood there & tapped her foot on the ground, then yelled out at the little Kender," Alright you little no good theif! If i don't have my bra back in my hands on the count of three, i'll come after you & you will regret ever trying to steal anything from you you little pip squeak!" She growled & started to move towards the Kender, her fist gripped tightly in frustration.

Mewmew's ears twitched as the rest of him froze and he turned around slowly with otherwise frozen body. "W-what did you c-call me?!"

Gildor shook his head. "I can see she hasn't dealt with many Kenders before.... Now I just hope she'll be able to stay alive.. Calling a Kender a thief and to say he has stolen is something not many people dare to do, even if they're usually harmless creatures and not very fierce fighters then there is two things you never want to happen to a Kender, that they say they're bored or to tell them they're a thief."

Kelsey shook her head then said lightly," Look Kender i'm in no mood to argue or fight, i'll take back what i just said if i get my bra back & i swear i won't say it again if you leave my things alone. So i beg you give me back my bra, either you took it not knowing it or you did it just to joke around." She was truthful in what she said, for she truly hadn't meant to say what she had just said to him & it showed in her eye that she didn't mean it.

Mewmew's posure somewhat calmed down like a piece of paper drenched in water. "Okay, I'll forgive you, that's not something I'll do to just anybody, you hear girl? But it's because I see what you're saying is true, now I'm sorry if you mistook me for have stolen it, I must have found it somewhere laying around and yes here you go." He said as he handed the bra back. "Very soft by the way, nice form and size...."

Gildor sighed. "Guess he got a weakspot for women... Just listen to that pervert... Oh well, he let her go that's a good thing.. Especially if she's as tired as that."

Kelsey quickly used a power that she had picked up one day, when watching someone else use it & then nodded making her bra appear on herself. She turned then quickly walked outside & sat down leaning against the building, a soft sigh escaping her lips.

Deltira smiled wickedly, "Watching that was even better than those dumb plays people show." She holstered her crossbow at her shoulder and pulled some soup off of a nearby only recently empty table and walked toward the door. On the way she opened a pouch in her belt and pulled out a tablet which she dropped in the soup. It bubbled briefly. She planted her small figure in front of Kelsey and held the bowl out to her. "Eat it!"

Mewmew turned to the Innkeeper." one big steak of meat!"

Gildor grinned and followed after Deltira. "One thing's for sure, that's one date to remember."

Deltira scowled and wrinkled her nose. "Not everyday a naked bird woman makes my aquaintance. Even if they could get past the traps. This is what I get for leaving the house."

Gildor smiled. "See? It's good to once in a while get out."

Kelsey sighed again & then siad lightly to them both," I'm glad you both find this all funny...." Her words trailed off & the stood slowly, then pushed the small bowl of soup away from her as she started to walk off.

Deltira lifted an eyebrow and tossed a sour look at Gildor. "Well! And that's what I get for trying to actually help someone for once. I'm not usually a nice person, but when I try to be I expect the person I want to help to at least be polite."

Kelsey stopped then said over her shoulder towards Deltira," I'm sorry it's just that today is not a good day for me, it's a date that i hate remembering......" Her words trailed off & she looked down to the ground, then stood there for a moment saying nothing.

"Then don't remember! Think about something else. It's not like it's hard. I'm sure I've forgotten most unpleasant things in my life, but I can't remember what they are." Deltira smiled twistedly.

Gildor chuckled. "I got a few too, but some where a mix, eh dear?" He asked with a chuckle, looking at Deltira ready to jump out of harm's way.

Kelsey shook her head & then said lightly," It's not that easy with this memory, most other memories are either good ones & i know i will always have them or they are bad ones yet i can hold those back. Yet not this one, this one is different & to strong right now." She sighed lightly & then started to walk around, she glanced around at everything as she walked.

Deltira threw a quick kick at Gildor's ankle, although she wasn't aiming to actually hurt him. The she asked in an offhand voice though her eyes twinkled a little in a rather disturbing way. "Do you remember whether I ever tested that memory synthesizer machine?"

Gildor chuckled and moved out of the way just in case. "If you had would I really be able to remember it then?"

Deltira looked thoughtful, "Good point, I suppose."

Gildor smirked. "Thinking of that then hypothetically speaking then you could have had your ways with me however and how many times you wanted without me knowing it."

Deltira widened her eyes and attempted to look innocent (which with her wicked smile and odd colored eyes needless to say didn't come close to working), "I don't know what you're talking about."

Gildor smirked even more. "Okay, I'm starting to get my suspicions now... Now just what it is that you've done then... Oh well, nothing that can't be repeated later on."

"Would I do anything like that?" Deltira asked continuing to hold her (not so) innocent expression.

Gildor smirked widely. "Yes, you would..." He said with a chuckle.

Deltira shrugged, dropping her expression and smirked mischievously. "Then again maybe I would." She winked at Gildor.

Gildor grinned then made an attempt at an sad face. "But why weren't I allowed to remember?"

"Well, I had to test it on someone didn't I?" Deltira asked grinning.

Gildor nodded. "That's true... But why me?"

Deltira batted her eyelashes at him and answered as sweetly as she could, "Because, you're so very good about it. You know I'm always grateful... right?"

Kelsey slowly disappeared from sight & went off in her own direction, then started to head on in her path towards where she had been headed.

Gildor sighed and nodded. "Yes, still I wish I could remember."

"Well, I suppose I owe you a redo then." She wrinkled her nose. "Just don't overdo it."

Gildor grinned. "I promise to try."

She smiled her twisted smile at him in return, "I'm sure."

Gildor blushed brightly. "Erh... Eheh... Erhmmm..." He then sank nervously.

Deltira laughed wickedly at him, but then stood on her tip-toes and kissed him briefly on the mouth before dancing backward out of his reach.

Gildor blushed even more and without really thinking went after her to take her in his arms.

Deltira dodged quickly, then bobbed back up beside him to plant another kiss, this time on his cheek.

Gildor blushed bashfully and stood there holding one hand in the other and nibbled on the indexfinger of that hand shyly.

Deltira laughed teasingly bobbing once again out of reach. "What's the matter? Giving up so easily?"

Gildor smiled shyly. "No it's just... You're the one making me blush this time, you're not usually this openly affectionate...."

Deltira wrinkled her nose. "True, but I enjoy teasing you now and then. You ought to remember that."

Gildor grinned softly and nodded. "Now that's true..."

"And I haven't had the chance to turn you into anything yet." She looked thoughtful for a moment, her eyes twinkling mischievously.

Gildor grins nervously. "Oh really?"

She pulled a small orb from one of her glove pouches and held it out toward him. "I'll tell you what. If you can get it from me, I won't use this on you." She grinned and danced backward a bit before waiting to see if he'd chase her.

Gildor grinned and got up and went after her.

Deltira chuckled wickedly and darted into the outskirts of the village, calling over her shoulder, "Surely you can do better than that?"

Gildor grinned. "Oh I can, not to sure what you think of it though.." He said as he started mumbling and vanish as if he was being wiped out of reality with an eraser.

"Ooh, not bad! Now if the spell is a transport you'd have to estimate where I'm going, so I can cancel that out by changing direction." She did as she said and darted off in a right angle to the direction she had been heading. She continued to speak as if to herself. "However, assuming it's invisibility I simply have to keep running and changing directions to get away from you."

Gildor grinned as he grabbed on to her shoulder. "However, if it's a specialized teleport spell I just need to know to whom or where I want to go." He then leaned in and kissed her cheek. "In a sense perhaps spoils the fun but I'd rather stay human this time around.

Deltira pouted then smiled, "Well, you caught me, but you still don't have the orb." She dropped out of his grip and performed a leg sweep.

Gildor grinned as he trusted himself to his feet by trusting his hand down towards the ground and lift him up like that. "Then what is this?" He held up the blue orb. "You got to remember that I have to be quick with my hands to be able to perform some of my spells and such."

Deltira sat in the dirt and scowled for a moment, before grinning back at him. "Jerk." She said in a complimentary tone of voice.

Gildor smirked and walked over and kissed her cheek, holding the orb at arm's length, knowing his advantage by his length. "Like you too dear."

Deltira grinned wickedly, and jumped up swiftly and thrust her arms out to knock Gildor into the mud that was just behind him.

Gildor looked quite surprised and flapped his arms franticly then shouted out something and his descend towards the mud was slowed down and gave him time to get his arms in position to push him away from it.

Laughing Deltira began to toss little mudballs at Gildor, in an effort to make certain he lost his dignity in some way or other.

Gildor looked horrified at first and tried to dodge them all but managed at first some then got 'splashed' with one and from there it just went downhill with avoiding.

Deltira finally stopped when Gildor was completely drenched, and laughed nastily. "My darling! I love the new look! It's so you! And I didn't even have to use my machines!" She laughed again.

Gildor grinned and leaped after her. "Why you little vixen! I'm going to get you for that!" He said with a chuckle.

Deltira dodged, laughing maniacally. "Just try it!"

Gildor smirked. "Oh really? Okay then!" He leaped after her, then when landing quickly jumped off from the ground and lunged after her.

Quick as a flash, Deltira dropped to the ground and rolled around under the leaping Gildor. As she passed she reached out to grab for one of his feet.

Gildor let out a startled sound. "What the..."

Deltira managed to catch the foot and jerked it out from under him as she rolled by. She rolled over her shoulder and onto her feet ready to jump again after seeing how he was affected.

Gildor laid on the ground startled at first then thrusted himself to his feet using an airspell. "That was not nice! Now stand still so I can hug you!"

Deltira stood up straight and laughed, and then leapt at Gildor wrapping her arms around his neck although her feet hung way off the ground as she did so.

Gildor grinned and hugged her tightly, rubbing himself against her really good. "Hehe, now you're soaked in mud too!" He said though still held on to her with a soft smile.

Deltira wrinkled her nose as she looked down at herself, "Now look what you've done! I need a bath now! I wasn't planning another for at least another month!" She snapped at him seeming to become angry in a heartbeat.

Gildor smirked and played with her hair. "Well you were the one you drenched me in mud... Besides, I need one as well now, I thought that we could take one together, I will do try and make it worth the effort."

Deltira glared at him, "And have me actually smell nice for a change? You've got to be mad!" She continued to pretend that she was angry.

Gildor grinned and leaned down and kissed her neck. "I think you smell nice all the time my dear Deltira, smelling newly washed will probably only make you even more appealing then you already are my sweet."

"Yeah? Then I guess I'm the Emperess of Tatsurrahga! My native perfume is oil and rust, and me without would probably be unrecognizable." She argued though her eyes twinkled humorously.

Gildor smiled softly and moved up to nibble lightly on her ear. "Oil and rust actually do become you, though I also think being newly washed would become you, probably allow you to let out even more of your feminine self then you already do, you know... Let yourself really pamper yourself and all that."

Deltira growled lightly, "If you want pampered and feminine you should find yourself a princess. I ain't feminine, and I only pamper machines." She sniffed and stuck her little nose in the air pretending to be snobbish, "However, since you also need a bath, I suppose I can live with it." She added.

Gildor chuckled. "I don't want any of those princesses and you might attempt to hide it for people but I know that some part of you do want to at least try dressing up and really make yourself pretty for someone special, even if you already are pretty in plenty as you are."

"Ha! I laugh, ha ha! I still think you're deluded if you think I'm at all attractive. I'm part imp and since when has any race even the imps found them attractive? Never! And I'd look positively hideous in a dress or anything of that nature. Believe me, because my mother used to make me wear them all the time!" It was something she'd never told him before, because she so rarely talked about the long ago time when she'd actually lived with her parents.

Gildor blinked as he was surprised to find her reveal something so personal then smiled. "It's just about which dress and well you've gotten only the good parts from them, your imp half increases your beauty, besides if nobody found imps attractive, how come your parents got together?" He once again played with her hair and gently placed his hand on the back of her neck and gently pulled her closer to a kiss then afterwards he looked to her. "besides, if you were not attractive, would I have gone through all the things I have and done all the things I have with you? Now don't think so of yourself."

"Whoever said someone had to be attractive to actually fall in love?" She said thinking about her parents. "And as for what you'd do, I only have your word on that. Although..." She said darkly, "You tend not to lie to me, unlike some people I've met." She sighed and leaned closer to him for a moment, ignoring the mud.

Gildor chuckled. "Well it's difficult to be in love with someone whom's face disgust you, do you need much more then my word? You're the one person I never would lie to no matter what, not that I lie otherwise really.." He smiled gently as he held her closer as well, playing gently with her hair.

Deltira narrowed her eyes and looked for a few long moments at Gildor in a menacing fashion. "Oh, really? You would never lie to me ever? Are you quite certain about that?" She asked with a hint of warning in her tone.

Gildor looked a bit intimidated at her menacing looks then sank and nodded. "Not to you, I could never lie to you.."

"Ok!" She said almost cheerfully and shrugged, acting as if nothing serious had happened at all. Then she giggled like a little girl and kissed Gildor on his cheek.

Gildor stood dumbfounded then grinned and kissed hers back in exchange.

"So what about that bath?" She teased batting her eyelashes at him.

Gildor grinned. "Well one thing's for sure, it'll be considered odd if we were to take it out here, we'll better go inside for that."

Deltira pretended to pout, she wasn't particularly good at it, and she sighed theatrically. "And here I was hoping you'd join me at the hotspring that's near my house."

Gildor grinned. "Oh really? I totally forgot about that one... Sounds like fun, at least since it's with you...." He smirked softly and lightly bit his anunderlip mischievously.

"Well too bad! I'm going to use the hotspring, and you can use the tub in my house since that's what you want." She turned away and seemingly forgetting she was up in the air, she fell to her knees in the mud under Gildor.

Gildor sighed lightly. "If that is what you wish..." He said obedient.

"I'll tell you what. You help me get up out of this mud hole, and I'll grant you one wish... within reason." She sat in the mud because one of her ankles had twisted painfully under her, but her arms were crossed peevishly. She wouldn't tell him, but the truth was that she'd miscalculated her slip, although she had expected the fact that she would slip. She'd guessed the angle of the slip wrong by a few degrees.

Gildor tilted his head at her. "Really? So if my wish were to bathe with you in the hotspring what would be your answer?"

"Your wish is my command, oh my master." She said wryly with just the corner of her mouth tilting up in her usual twisted half-smile.

Gildor grinned mischievously and leaned down and got her up. "You know? I sort of liked how you said that...."

Deltira growled a little, "Oh, I'm sure." She said sarcastically trying not to put pressure on her sore ankle.

Gildor grinned and picked her up in his arms as he noticed her attempt to hide her injury. "Oh yes.... Perhaps we could try it out again later?" He smirked mischievously to her.

"Don't hold your breath." She said, but she didn't struggle in his arms.

Gildor smirked and gently kissed her cheek then started heading towards Deltira's home.

Deltira glowered, but not too angrily. "I blame you for the ankle you know." She told him almost conversationally.

Gildor grinned and nudged his nose against her cheek then looked onwards again. "I'm sorry, but you were the one who took yourself out of my grip, so you can't entirely blame me."

"You made me angry." Deltira said and snorted.

Gildor pouted a little over-exaggerated. "I didn't mean to, I really had forgotten about the hotspring...."

Deltira changeable as usual, leaned toward Gildor with a smile and nibbled on his pouting lip. Then backed up and said, "Forgiven... this time."

Gildor smiled joyously and skipped on, while trying to hold her as much as possible in same position and not move her about too much to not hurt her ankle.

"Well, you seem happy." Del commented.

Gildor smiled. "Of course, I'm having you in my arms and you're not struggling to get out."

"If your not careful with that talk, I'll bite your nose off!" She threatened, but not seriously.

Gildor grinned. "Oh? Would you rather walk on your own, letting everyone see your weakness? Now play nice or I won't take care of your foot and you later on in your hotspring..." He said jokingly threatening.

"Who's here to see? And besides I can always call L.S.U. to carry me, but you're more comfortable." Del said and then snuggled down into his arms.

Gildor smiled and hugged her gently as she was in his arms. "You've really grown affectionate towards me as of late... I like it."

"I have my moments." She replied without looking at him.

Gildor smiled. "Well as long as those moments are with me then I don't have anything to say against it..."

Deltira smiled wryly, "Who else but you would put up with me?"

Gildor grinned and looked to her. "I don't know, has there been anyone that has?" A very, very slight hint of jealousy could be traced in his tone and words.

"No there hasn't, otherwise I wouldn't constantly be trying to figure you out. I always thought that I was supposed to be insane, that is until I met you. You take insanity to a completely new level." Deltira pretended to complain.

Gildor grinned and smiled relieved. "Okay and yeah well still have never said I was sane either, same as you, you even try and seem even more then you are." He said in a complimenting manner.

"Oh, is that so?" Deltira asked cocking an eyebrow at Gildor. "Are you quite certain?"

Gildor grinned. "I've known you for all this time, don't you think I should know that by now? You might not be fully sane but you still like to enhance the view of you being the opposite."

"You know me far too well." Deltira grinned ruefully. "What am I going to do about you now?"

Gildor smirked. "Oh I think I have an idea..."

Deltira lifted her eyebrow again, although she continued smiling, "And that would be...?" She trailed off questioningly.

Gildor smirked wickedly. "I'd better show you then tell you... But it'll have to wait, we aren't there yet."

"I can't wait..." Deltira said sounding sarcastic, but she still smiled.

Gildor smirked. "I bet you can't..." He said with a soft chuckle.

"Well, get on with it cad! Else I'm going to have to kick you and that won't be good for my ankle at all." Deltira threatened, mockingly.

Gildor smirked and hastened up his pace. "Okay dear, I see you can't wait..."

"We shouldn't be far... What's that?" Deltira scowled and pointed at a strangely moving shadow where there shouldn't be one.

Gildor blinked and watched he shadow carefully. "What the..."

"If anyone's back there you'd better come out before I turn you into something dreadful! I'll do it!" Deltira threatened, staring hard at the shadow.
