Character Name: Dimitrius "D" Fletcher

Character Setting: Modern Day/Fantasy

Age: 25

Race: Shape shifter/Werewolf

Appearance: Dimitrius has soft, dark brown, shoulder length straight hair with natural auburn highlights. It falls around his face nearly perfectly with a few strands hanging un-evenly here and there. He has gentle hazel eyes that tend to sparkle when he's intrigued or excited and tend to flash when he's angry. He's 6'1" and 193lbs. He's strong and has a muscly build. He's got sunkissed skin, a "farmer's tan" from hours of hunting outside in the summer with his brother and father. He's got a near perfect model's face with a crooked nose from his first fist fight. His clothing style is rockerish, usually sporting a black leather jacket over a tight fitting white tshirt and dark blue or black faded(worn) jeans.

History: Dimitrius was born to a human mother and a werewolf father. He grew up believing he was a normal human being until the age of 14 when he got into his first fist fight at school. From that point on, he trained himself to keep his wolf side a secret from everyone except his family. He started his own pack when he was 18, right after his father was killed. He became Alpha Male, winning the title in a fight with his younger brother Oliver.

Personality: Dimitrius is sweet, kind, caring and loving, but also very mysterious. He's not shy, but he isn't talkative either. He keeps quiet in every situation unless a voice of reason is needed. When he speaks, it is usually something wise and truthful. He's a strong believer in protecting his pack to the best of his abilities, even if it kills him. He is loyal and compassionate with those he loves and holds his family and pack very close.

Occupation: Dimitrius doesn't really have an occupation. He and his pack live off the land in a cabin on the edge of town. They care for themselves and really have no need for money.

Abilities: Speed and extreme strength. He is an extremely fast runner in both human and wolf form and is the strongest member of his pack.

A Prim, neat, middle-aged man walked into the room and smiled at Dimitrius as he closed the door to behind him. "Hello," he said in a friendly, but not overly cheery voice, sitting down in the chair by the desk. "I'm here to ask a few questions, if that's okay with you?"

"Yes, that is alright." Dimitrius answered, sitting down in an identical chair on the other side of the desk.

"Good," said the inspector, and gave Dimitrius a smile of the kind doctors reserve for their patients and barmaids for their customers. "Okay," he started, "let's jump right in. I assume that, as a human, your mother is not part of your pack. Where is she, and do you ever see her?"

"Hmm, that is a good question," Dimitrius answered, looking at the inspector with a truthful smile. "I have not seen her since the death of my father. I do not know where she may be."

"And... you're not interested in finding her?" The man asked, rather surprised. Even he liked to know where his mother was, and he was thirty-two.

"I have tried many times to find her," Dimitrius looked down at the floor briefly. "But, I cannot go too far from my pack. They depend on me too much." he looked up and smiled a sly smile.

"And you're pack can't move with you?" asked the man, still slightly skeptical, but sounding like he was starting to accept the idea that the younger man in front of him had perhaps tried his best to find his mother. "And-" he added, as an afterthought, "is it that your pack depend too much on you - or that, if you left, you might come back to find that they didn't depend on you at all?"

"I like the feeling of being needed by them." Dimitrius paused in thought for a moment. "I suppose it is really that I am afraid that they wouldn't need me anymore." He looked at the man. "No, it is hard to move my pack. They have a bad attention span and tend to wander when we're traveling a long ways."

There was a thoughtful look on the inspectors face, and he nodded his head in that absent way people often do when they're thinking something through. "okay." He said finally, as if the explanation was no complete enough. "So," he said, starting a fresh thread of the conversation, "tell me about your pack - how big is it? Who's in it - your brother, I presume, but who else?"

Dimitrius nodded, his light brown hair gently moving against his face with the movement. "Yes. My brother along with a few misfits." he shifted his position as proud air came about him. "The others are wolves who have either been banned from wherever they came from, or have run away to find peace with those who are like them." he smiled softly. "We're sort of like an adoption center, taking in those who have no home."

"Doesn't that cause you some problems?" The inspector asked, thoughtfully, "I mean, presumably they've been banned from wherever they came from for a reason. Sure, one or two might have been unfairly banned - but not all, right? That would be a huge coincidence," he added with a laugh as span his chair sideways and leant back, so that he could prop his elbow on the desk and rest his chin on his hand.

"Not at all, we work like a family and we each have our own jobs to do to ensure the success of our pack." Dimitrius casually ran a hand back through his hair, pulling the loose strands out of his eyes. "There is a couple of members who were threatened death if they didn't leave. They were young ones, they couldn't survive on their own. The others ran from their families in search of help and comfort. Comfort their families couldn't possibly give to a shapeshifter such as us."

Again the doctor thought for a moment, chewing his lip and frowning slightly, "do you not think that's... a bit presumptuous of you?" He asked, "I mean, yes, obviously you can understand what it's like to be a werewolf, and their families can't - but a son is a son to a mother no matter what, and no one else can be his mother - or his father."

"You're right. But I don't take the role as father. They still have their families, if they wish to return to them. They stay with the pack by their own will, not mine." Dimitrius responded calmly, his eyes now fully locked on the Inspector. "I am more of a, trainer if you will. I help them strength, stealth and skill."

The inspector was completely unphased by Dimitrius stare. In fact, you couldn't be sure he'd even noticed it, he seemed too busy staring thoughtfully off into the unseen. "Hmmmm," he responded, sounded not quite convinced. Then he took a deep breath, "unfortunately we're going to have to leave this thread of conversation if we're going to fit everything in." He said, "Please excuse to abrupt change, but... could you explain how your father died?"

"Disease," Dimitrius replied simply. "He was sick with Alzheimers." He looked down, a sad expression crossing his face. "He didn't remember my brother in the end."

The interviewer gave a pained, sympathetic smile, "I've often used Alzheimer's used as proof against the existence of God," he remarked so as to have something to say, then he moved on, "your brother is in your pack, yes? How did you feel when you had to fight him for leadership?"

Dimitrius' gaze met that of the interviewer as he sighed gently. "It was painful. I didn't want to hurt him, he's my flesh and blood. But, I had to prove my strength and power. I had to prove that I was worthy. He, to this day, hasn't forgiven me for that."

"And does that cause problems with the rest of the pack?" asked the inspector, studying the younger man in front of him with a mild, benign curiosity and rubbing the beginnings of the stubble that was sprouting on his chin whilst thoughtfully and absentmindedly spinning his chair in small degrees first to the left, then to the right.

"Yes, it does actually. He still feels the need to prove his strength to me, so if he can't find a vampire to bug, he causes fights within the pack and gets everyone stirred up." Dimitrius rolled his eyes, obviously slightly annoyed.

"And how much trouble does that cause for the rest of the pack?" He asked, still spinning his chair gently to and fro.

"A lot of trouble," Dimitrius stated quietly, placing a hand gently under his chin and resting his elbow on the arm of the chair. "He has threatened to abandon the pack and become a lone wolf, but his loyalty to his family and to his father's memory is too strong."

"Would you force him to leave, if his presence became too detrimental to the health and safety of the rest of the pack?" Asked the inspector with a mild curiosity in his voice as he gazes lazily at Dimitrius.

Dimitrius looked down, his eyes closed as he thought carefully about the question. He hadn't ever wanted to think about it, or even consider it. A moment later he looked back at the inspector. "To be completely honest, I have never wanted to think about if that would happen. I have always managed to calm Oliver before his anger got the best of him, but I suppose for the safety of the pack, if he got too out of hand, I would have to force him to leave. It would kill me to break up the family, but as the leader, I must protect my pack."

The inspector nodded his head, then, with a final swing of his chair he stood up, "Well," he said, "I think that will do quite nicely. Thank you for your time, Mr. Fletcher." He gave a brief smile and another nod, and then headed towards the door.

Dimitrius, out of politeness stood and smiled. "The pleasure was all mine, I'm sure. Thank you." he watched the inspector leave.
