Background: Vic was conscripted to the SG Program as an engineer under the command of Colonel Harry Maybourne. He worked primarily at Area: 51, adapting Alien fauna for medicinal use in the field. His ability to understand plant life and its various applications made breakthrough changes in Earth's medical technology.

Since his induction into the SG Program, he has shown a particular interest in Xenobiology. While working at Area: 51, the only extraterrestrial lifeforms he was ever given access to were of the fauna variety. Though he greatly enjoyed his work, he had a hunger for more. He wanted desperately to see an alien being in something other than videos or photographs.

Vic jumped at the chance to join the Gemini project. The prospect offered infinite possibility to further his work and a quick way out from under the shady command of the N.I.D.
