Personality: Edwin is generally a nice and all around pleasant guy. Being a self-proclaimed inventor, he's very interested in all sorts of knickknacks, especially anything new and original. He likes to take things apart to see how they work, and to figure out if he can put them back together again. He is very dedicated to his passion, and when he gets an idea he becomes completely absorbed to the point of forgetting everything around him, even important things like food or sleep. He loves talking about his work, and can go on for hours about the changes he's made to his pocket-watch to make it go longer without needing to be rewound, or how he's working on a machine that will completely revolutionize the train industry. Though, it should probably be said, as of yet he has more zeal than success.
Appearance: Tall and lanky, with shoulder-length, straw-coloured hair that he usually keeps in a messy ponytail, although some strands somehow always seem to resist capture. Edwin has dark eyes of an indeterminable grey or blue colour, often hidden behind large goggles, especially when he's at work with one of his strange machines. Clothing wise, he usually wears a waistcoat over a white shirt, the sleeves rolled up for convenience' sake, together with a pair slacks and old, black leather shoes with black spats.

History: Edwin was born and raised in Ibavor, a small town near the lake of Ibea. He comes from a family of craftsmen, and his father is a successful clockmaker in his hometown. He has two brothers, one older and one younger. The older one has a wife and a small daughter and is training to take over the family business, while the younger has joined the Imperial Marine and is currently sailing the seas to protect the empire. Edwin himself moved to the capital some years ago to try his luck as an inventor, feeling that his hometown was too small for a man of his skill and ambition.
Other: Hates the nickname "Eddie", has a fondness for stray dogs and children, and harbours a dream of getting his name into the history books as the greatest inventor of all times.
