El'Arafa, once a prominent border city on the fringes of the ancient Telpurion empire. At that time it was known as Novrogrod. That was before the undoing of Telpurion's hold, and before the first coming of the Deamonic hordes en mass. Now it is a burned out husk. No one lives here, save for maybe the occasional Deamon. The city is given a wide birth by even the Dark elves for it is known to be ground zero for incursions of any scale

Arcanis hung against the Seaward facing wall, impaled by a now dead Deamon prince's weapon. His armies had been ambushed while setting up the terrain generator. Now, the generator was destroyed, enveloped by the Deamonic portal that spawned the ruination of his dreams. He could still see the shore lines of Arda, though his body was broken. His people would live on, though they where a far cry from the teaming myriads that had followed him into this dimension. His eyes darkened as he faded. All around, what was left of the void beings began organizing themselves. They knew there would be no more Deamonic incursion. At least on this scale, and not in this city. They had sealled the long open rift. There now remained only one, and this was much smaller. Soon they would play their part in sealing up this aswell. For now this could wait, for the inhabitants of this world they guessed would not recieve them well.

Eldarain carefully crept over the hill. He looked out onto the dread city. The massive vally before him was covered in corpses. He stood there for a moment. Seeing that some still lived, though he dared not approach them. Eldarian was headed to enlist his services in the Alliance, he only hoped that Eldamar still stood. Eldarian sat down, the destruction before him was spectacular. He wondered what would be left of the world by the time the Hell legions where quelled, and what that future held for him. He set his sword across his lap as he took in the scene before him. He figured he was all alone, and well enough away from the survivors to not be troubled by them. He looked around, he thought he had been followed by somone who seemed familiar in a way. Seeing a strange hill in the opposit direction of the city, Eldarian decide to investigate. He found a moseleum, the writing was ancient, indeed he had not seen this writing since his very early years. The stone before the entrance read Here lies Anarvin Turumbar the rest was a haze. Eldarian realised he had found a tomb, a very ancient tomb. Seeing as it had shelter from the elements, the old elf decided he would stay here. He had known of Anarvin when he was very young, he knew her husband was still alive and still fighting. He put these thoughts aside as he settled in for the night.

Seris approached the mausoleum cautiously, somehow she knew that it had some significance, but it was one of those memories that she didn't really remember, only vague shadows were left from the life before this one. She looked about herself to make sure that she was not being watched, being in such an open place made her nervous, she needed to hide, she couldn't be seen, they might catch her, she needed to get inside. She opened the door quickly, closing it behind her just as quickly and leaning against it. A moment later, she froze. Before her stood an old Elf. She panicked, before she could take another breath instinct took over and she sent a weak ball of flame at the Elf.

Eldarian was quick, startled as he was by the sudden appearance. He absorbed the burst with his hands, dissolving it seemingly effortlessly. He appeared behind her "Can i help you?" he asked her gently. Somhow she looked familiar can't be....she died when those dratted mortals invaded long ago he thought to himself "I won't hurt you, and you're quite safe here for the moment...come you must be starving" he said dissmisivly "Sorry to have startled you....i didn't realize anyone lived here" he said venturing over to a pot he had filtched from a nearby town.

Seris immediately spun around and backed away against the wall, her reflexes were abnormally quick, even for an elf, developed by years of being forced to survive under the lash of brutal overseers. She looked wildly at him and about the rest of the room, looking for a way out besides the door behind Eldarian. There was none.

Eldarian could read her mind, though he didn't have to "And you think i would treat you like that?....you are quite safe here, though i would advise you stay here for the night...there's a group of men out an about patrolling...looking for somthing by how they overturn every house they come across. You are welcomed to that pot, it's beef stew, hope you like it" seeing how scared she was "Here, to prove to you that i have no intention of hurting you" he detached his sheathed sword from his bealt, as well as his bow and quiver. He took out then all of the throwing stars and knives and placed them on the ground in front of her before turning to the door "If you need me i'll be at the door" he didn't tell her that he was expecting the Humans to follow him here. No matter, he would be ready.

Seris stared wide-eyed at him, and began to edge toward the pot. Seeing a bowl and spoon an the ground she quickly snatched them up and fixed herself some of the stew, scarfing it down absurdly quickly, never taking her eyes off of the stranger.

Eldarian parked himself at the door entrance. Dozing off he flew from his perch when a pound sound came at the door "Open up in there!!" came a shout. Eldarian glanced over at Seris "You stay right there...you're quite safe" he said softly to her. He opened the door, stepping back to look at the huge man before him. Easily eight feet tall he cast wicked glance at Seris "That little girl there is mine scrub...giver her up" Eldarian feighned shock before giving a dangerous look at the man, though only Seris could see it "Alright fat man, unfortunately you see...i have a problem...she happens to be under my protection, you see...i promised her..." he was sent flying back into the wall by the man's fist. He recovered himself, a smile across his face "That was most unwise" lightning gathered round him, ricocheting off the walls and appearing and dissapearing all around him. The man drew a huge ax. Eldarian laughed "You really think that you stand a chance with such a weapon?" he laughed, reappearing behind the man, hitting him hard in a arm joint. The axe clattered to the floor, followed by a scream as the Man gazed at his army, which was broken so badly the bones hung out "I would advise you and your friends leave, as she is not coming with you" He saw the others come up behind him. The man smiled "You're not an elemental..you don't stand a chance" Fire formed in his one good hand, and the hands of the others. Eldarain, who was facing Seris now smiled "I wouldn't be so sure of that" he said slowly, though he made no move to prove them wrong "Whatever you do little one, stay where you are, and don't try to get involved" he said softly to her.

At the sound at the door, Seris dropped the bowl on the ground and darted behind the coffin that rested in the room. She watched wide-eyed, cowering behind her shelter, cringing from the voice of her overseer.

Eldarian seemed at ease, despite having five human elementals behind him "Alright you damn pointy eared prick, hand over the girl and we won't roast you alive" Eldarian smiled before turning to face them "And what makes you think that you could even come close to achieving either of those two goals?" he reappeared behind the leader, tearing his damaged arm off then reappeared in his previous place. He cast the arm aside as the man was to shocked at what had happened to say anything "Foolish mortals" he said absent mindedly "Now begone, i don't feel like tearing anymore limbs off" The humans' glared at him, before unleashing gouts of flame at him. Eldarian held out his hand, palm extended. He absorbed all of their attacks with contemptuous ease smiling as he condensed it all into a small ball. He sent this flying at one, hitting him with such force that it sent them sprawling well outside the tomb. Then it detonated. The two humans where turned to ash in a matter of secound. The three remaining backed up alittle "She is not coming with you, she is under my protection" he said slowly. He sat down as if he could care less.
