Abilities/powers: Nathan is an energy generator. He creates a powerful energy from his body that glows like a baleful green fire. This energy is substantial, and packs quite a punch to whomever it hits. The primary source for this energy is sprouting from Nathan's hands, however he is able to project the energy from any part of his body, or even his entire body in a powerful explosion. Nathan has fine control over the energy, and is able to shape the energy to his whim, able to create thrown blasts, solid blades, or even fairly strong shields with the energy.

General appearance: Nathan is fairly slender, standing at 6'2" tall, and weighing in at 162 pounds. He keeps his hair neatly trimmed, slightly longer on top, and tightly kept at the sides and back, and is mostly black, with a shock of white in his bangs. He also keeps a goatee. His eyes are a medium green color, but when using his powers, they begin to glow the same bright green, even to the point of emitting flame-like patterns. His main attire now is his X-men uniform, however he will wear black t-shirts and blue jeans when he is not in need of formal dress for the situation.
Additional Appearance: Three piercings in his left ear (2 gauges in the lobe and one ring in the cartilage). Silhouette of a crow tattooed on the inside of each wrist. Silver necklace with a silver ring inlaid with an emerald strung on it. He also has a tattoo of a sword that runs down his rib cage on his right side.
Personality: The sly Casanova that was once Nathan has slowly faded away, leaving a slightly more dry personality. He no longer has as many illusions about a comfortable world. He has still maintained a good portion of his humor, but he has had to become much more serious, especially now that his sister has become part of the line of fire in this war. His goal, first and foremost now, is her safety. The years have taken a toll on him, and he has now become a fairly regular smoker, however, he is still not much of a drinker.
Special Skills: He has become a fairly decent mechanic over the years, to a degree. He can still survive on his cooking, and isn't any more artistic than he was nine years ago, but he has become a much better fighter.

Brief History: After the disappearance of the teachers from the Xavier mansion, Nathan felt guilty. He felt as if he could have done something more to prevent the world from being thrown into chaos, and dedicated himself to finding a way to remedy his past shortcomings. Shortly before the mutant riots, it was revealed to Nathan that his sister was also taking on mutant qualities. Nathan convinced his parents to send Katie to live with him at the X-mansion, and that he'd be able to keep her safe. Sure enough, the riots came about, and there was a massive shift in perspective, and when it was found out that the White's were the parents of not just one, but two mutants, they were killed by anti-mutant activists. With the demolition of the X-mansion, Nathan knew that he had to keep his little sister safe, and that they would one day find safety in this world.
