Abilities/powers: Can create a diamond-like material from her hands. If she loses concentration however, the material becomes as weak as glass.
She can concentrate her powers on multiple instances of the diamond substance, but it still weakens within a minute or so. Catherine can encompass herself in the diamond, however she would then have to break out of it, causing injury to herself, and likely whoever helps break her out. The same would apply if she encased someone else in diamond.
She has learned to encase other items not attached to herself, and can still keep the material expanding from any instance of the substance (i.e. a sword covered in diamond could have the diamond grow, even if not held by her), though this speeds the weakening of that instance.

General appearance: Catherine's hair is still dyed blue, but is cut short into a messy bob. Her thin emerald eyes have small spikes drawn on in blue, out of habit. Her body is as healthy as the circumstances allow, at average height, a little more slender in her maturity. Her usual attire is a black jacket with blue highlights, with blue skinny jeans.

Additional Appearance: Scars cover the entirety of her arms and legs, most fully healed, and another below her eye, near the makeup.

Personality: Catherine had come out of her shell before the incident, but now has became colder than before. Not quick to anger, simply calculating. Nonetheless, she hates being alone, thinking it unsafe now. Nevertheless, in the few moments where she feels safe, she does find time to chat with others at least.
 
Special Skills: She has rather good hearing, likely from years of eaves-dropping, which has aided in reconnaissance.

Place of birth: Dundee, Scotland
  
Weapon(s) of choice: Aside from rarely encasing her arms in diamond for a strong punch or stab, she has grown to use throwing knives and guns, due to necessity.
 
Medical information: Severe scarred skin, which may never fully heal.
 
Brief History: Catherine had become well adjusted in the mansion, her powers and use thereof becoming greater. She had decided that the only way people would accept her as a mutant would be to be a hero, and, to her credit, knuckled down and tried. When the presidential candidate incident happened, this hardened the diamond girl's metaphorical skin. Still determined to be "the heroine" for herself more than anyone else, she became reserved, but still stood for the X-Men ideals. Some may not fully trust her, but those who know her well, know better. While the X-Men may be seen as mere tools for the government, she is fine, thinking it one of the few ways her people would be accepted.
