I claim this page! HA!
Ok, sorry about that, but I do claim this wiki-page for a story I am going to write. I'm not that good at writing stories. I have to be in the mood for it, and I am. So here goes nothing.
Comments and suggestions are welcome, just try to be nice please.

And so it starts...
Nicole sat on the edge of the pool looking into the water, losing herself in the ripples that her feet made. She had never felt like this before. Something was happening to her, something she could not stop. Not that she really wanted to either. She just wished she knew why and how. She sighed and layed back onto the pavement looking up into the trees and closed her eyes. The wind blew softly and she heard little birds in a near-by nest. Nicole loved times like these.
“Nicole?” asked a voice from above her.
Nicole lazily opened one eye, and looked back at a pair of the greenest eyes anyone could imagine. “Yes Elizabeth?”
Elizabeth sat down next to Nicole, dipped her feet into the pool and looked over at Nicole. “What are you doing out here all by yourself mate?”
Nicole just closed her eye and lazily replied, “Nothing. Just thinking.”
“About what?” asked Elizabeth.
It was a while before Nicole said anything. She was carefully measuring her words so as to not give away what was truly bothering her. “Just a bunch of stuff.”
Elizabeth smiled slyly and said, “A bunch of stuff, or about Johnny?”
Nicole chuckled softly, “Yea that’s it.”
“Well darling, if either one of us plans on getting to school today, we better get going.” remarked Elizabeth.
Nicole quickly sat up and checked her watch. “Oh shit! We are so going to be late.” Elizabeth simply said, “Dude chill.” Then she handed Nicole a towel and made her way to the car. Nicole took the towel and tried to dry her feet as she followed Elizabeth to the car. Elizabeth watched Nicole with amusement, as she almost fell several times.
When Nicole did reach the car she leaned against it to support herself as she pulled on her shoes. Elizabeth couldn’t contain herself any longer and busted out laughing. Nicole shot her an evil glare and said, “So me falling is funny? Fine.” She straightened herself up and said, “I’m driving”
Elizabeth quickly stopped laughing and pouted, “But you always drive!” Nicole giggled. “Of course I do. It’s MY car!” said Nicole while she climbed into the car. Elizabeth stood with her handle on the door for a minute before saying, “Oh yea, never mind.” And with that she climbed into the car, and Nicole backed out of the driveway and headed for school.
In school, it was a well-known fact that Nicole and Elizabeth were totally inseparable. They had almost every class together, except for Art and Journalism. Art wasn’t such a big thing to Elizabeth and Ms. Whipple, her teacher, was very boring and gave art a bad name. And Nicole’s Journalism class with Mr. Sullivan was just as much torture. Mr. Sullivan always reminded Nicole of a hyperactive cheerleader who had way too much coffee. This wouldn’t have been all that bad, if he didn’t have a mean streak too. So to pass the time, Nicole and Elizabeth always had their cell phones on and their fingers ready to type. So in between painting and drawing, writing and research, a silent conversation was being held between them.
In fact, sometimes they were so indulged in their conversations that they forgot they were in class, and this happened to be one of those times. Nicole was just about to send a response to Elizabeth when she felt someone watching her. She looked up to see Mr. Sullivan staring at her. As soon as they made eye contact he slowly started to make his way to Nicole’s desk. Nicole sat frozen in her chair. This would be the third time this week that Mr. Sullivan had caught her slacking off. He deliberately took his time, savoring the look of uncertainty in Nicole’s face. After what seemed like an eternity, he finally reached her desk and smiled evilly. Just as he started to open his mouth to reprimand Nicole again, then lunch bell rang. The ringing made him glance at the clock on the wall for just a second, and when he looked at Nicole’s, she was gone. He looked around the classroom but she was nowhere to be found.
Nicole stood in a stall in the girl’s bathroom, going over her narrow escape. She shakily walked out of her stall and leaned over one of the sinks. Nicole looked up at her reflection, and watched her eyes fade back to blue. She had never tried to teleport in school before, but this was just as good as time as any. While Mr. Sullivan was walking towards her desk, she was wishing she was anywhere but there. And just before the bell rang she thought of a secluded place to go, the bathroom. So when Mr. Sullivan glanced at the clock, Nicole teleported herself there. She turned on one of the taps and splashed cool water on her face. Nicole blindly reached out for a paper towel and when she finally found one she dried off her face and walked out of the bathroom to find Elizabeth.
As Nicole walked into the courtyard she could see her friends waiting for her under their usual cherry blossom tree. She briskly walked over to them and sat in between Elizabeth and Johnny. Elizabeth looked over at Nicole and telepathically said, “Where have you been?” Nicole glanced at her and sent back, “Long story. I’ll tell you after school.” Elizabeth pouted slightly but agreed. Nicole knew she hated to wait but this was one thing that she couldn’t risk talking about it here.
Nicole looked around and noticed that Zack and Josie weren’t under the tree with them. She turned to Johnny and said, “Where are Zack and Josie?” He smiled and nodded in the direction of a near-by picnic table. Nicole smiled evilly, nudged Elizabeth, and pointed in the direction of Zack and Josie. “Look at the cute little couple.” said Nicole. Elizabeth smiled back just as evilly, “It’d be rude of us not to say hello.” “Oh I agree.” giggled Nicole. They both jumped up and ran over to Zack and Josie.
Elizabeth dropped down on Zack’s left side, “Hey there.”
While Nicole sat on Zack’s right side, “How goes it?”
“Good I hope.” remarked Elizabeth.
“As do I” replied Nicole.
“Like totally.”
“Seriously dude.”
They both smiled innocently at Zack, while Josie tried to hold back her laughter. Bugging Zack was one of Elizabeth and Nicole’s top forms of entertainment. Zack looked from Elizabeth to Nicole while saying, “Oh I’m fine, but why didn’t anyone tell me the moron convention was in town?” Josie looked at Zack with a shocked expression.
“Zack! Be nice.” exclaimed Josie.
Zack looked at Josie and pouted, “They started it!”
Josie tried to look stern with him, “I don’t care who started it, there’s no need to be so rude.”
Zack pouted more and said, “Fine.”
Josie smiled happily and replied, “Good. Thank you my love.”
Zack smile back, “You’re welcome darling.”
As if on queue, Nicole and Elizabeth both said, “Awe! How sweet!” at the same time. Then they both leaped up and ran away giggling. They knew Zack was going to try to get them back for that. Little did he know that Nicole and Elizabeth had cross country training over the summer and they lost him easily. They were so caught up in getting away from Zack that they ran right into Mr. Welling their principle.
“Oh my goodness! Mr. Welling! We’re so sorry.” stammered Nicole and Elizabeth.
Mr. Welling went to bend down and pick up the papers that Nicole and Elizabeth had knocked out of his hands, but they quickly picked them up for him.
Mr. Welling looked down at the suspiciously, “Where were you girls off to in such a hurry?”
Elizabeth and Nicole glanced at each other and together said, “Class.”
“Class? But the bell doesn’t ring for another 25 minutes.” said Mr. Welling.
“Oh we know,” said Elizabeth, “we just wanted to hurry back to class to help out our teacher and… and…”
“And to ask for extra credit work” added Nicole quickly.
Mr. Welling’s eyes narrowed a bit as he studied them some more. Then all at once his face softened and he smiled. “Well that changes everything! You girls go on, I’ll take these silly papers.” exclaimed Mr. Welling, taking the paper from Nicole and Elizabeth.
They nodded briefly and walked away quietly. When they were sure that they were out of earshot they busted out laughing.
“Jeez! How dense can that man be?” asked Nicole.
“Obviously, very!” replied Elizabeth.
“It’s a miracle how that man is a principle.” Nicole said with a sigh.
“Tell me about it.”
They slowly looked around the corner to see if Zack had given up chasing them but he was no where in sight.
"Think its safe?" asked Elizabeth.
"Hmm... I don't know. Usually he just gives up and goes back" replied Nicole, "but where is he?"
Then a voice behind them made them both jump. "Maybe he's right behind you"
They quickly turned around and found themselves standing before Zack, who was grinning very oddly.
"Oh hi Zack!" said Nicole.
"We were just talking about you" added Elizabeth.
Zack grin widened evilly, "So I heard."
Nicole looked around and saw that there pretty much wasn't anywhere to go. They were backed up against a wall and the crowd of kids was so thick they could hardly breathe properly, but luckily she had a plan.
Nicole smiled and said, "So I guess now would be the time that we beg for mercy?"
Elizabeth looked over at Nicole with a surprised look but didn't say anything.
Something dark flickered through Zack's eyes, or maybe it was Nicole's imagination, but she knew she was adding to his anger.
"Yea that's right. If you know what's good for you." said Zack.
Nicole arched an eyebrow and grinned innocently, "Oh please Zack! Don't hurt us! We'll only do it again tomorrow!" she said in a very sarcastic tone.
“Nicole! What are you doing?”
Nicole’s eyes glided over to Elizabeth, and telepathically said, “I have a plan.”
Elizabeth’s expression relaxed a little as she sent back, “I hope you know what you’re doing.”
Nicole smiled sweetly and looked back at Zack, “So are we in trouble now?”
Zack looked oddly from Nicole to Elizabeth and wondered what was going on between them, but tried to remain stern looking. “Yea you’re in trouble.”
Nicole gasped sarcastically, “You would hit a girl?!”
Zack’s expression changed slightly from anger to bewilderment and replied, “Well… No I guess I wouldn’t.”
Nicole’s eyes suddenly glowed green and she said evilly, “Didn’t think so.”
Time slowed down around them and Zack was engulfed in green light. He looked around wildly. He felt darkness pressing in on him, felt his knees buckle, and he fell to the floor motionless.
Nicole’s eyes slowly changed back to blue as the light around Zack faded and she looked sweetly over at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth looked back at Nicole, her green eyes shining, and tentatively asked, “Is he dead?”
“Oh goodness no!” said Nicole giggling. She looked around the hallway as activity steadily resumed around them. “He’s alive; it was just way past his nap time.”
“Oh well in that case, awesome! When did you learn that?” asked Elizabeth excitedly.
Nicole stepped over Zack's sleeping body and replied, "About a week ago, but I couldn't find anyone to test it on."
"You SO have to teach me that!"
"Sure! How about today after school?"
"Sounds great"
Nicole glanced over at Zack's body. "You know he's not so bad when he's asleep."
Elizabeth giggled, "I wish he could be like that all the time!"
"That would be awesome!" said Nicole giggling back.
Then they both stopped giggling as they heard the bell ring and simultaneously looked down at Zack.
“Maybe you should wake him up now.” said Elizabeth.
“Yea I know. Too bad though, he was kind of starting to grow on me. Oh well.” Nicole’s eyes glowed green again and slowly Zack started to sit up. Nicole bent over and said to him, “Wake up sleepyhead. You’d better hurry to class or you’ll be late.” Then stood up, smiled, and walked off to class with Elizabeth. Zack looked up and saw them walking away and wondered what had just happened to him. For some reason his head was pounding and he wondered why he was sitting on the floor. Unbeknownst to him, as he looked up at Nicole and Elizabeth’s fading form, his eyes glowed red just briefly. Then he slowly got up and made his way to class.
She sat back from the silver glowing orb before her and slumped into her chair, lost in thought. Could they be the ones'? Do they know what purpose they serve? Do they remember anything? What about those boys and the other girl? Do they also serve a purpose in the plan? And if so, why had the prophet not foreseen it? And why had no one mentioned the mernix?
Her thoughts were interrupted when a small voice next to her spoke, "Ma'am?"
She looked down at the small man that stood next to her and replied, "Yes, Elliot?"
"I beg your pardon for intruding milady but we have visitors." said Elliot.
She frowned slightly and said, "Let them in" then turned around and faced the silver orb once more.
She closed her eyes as she heard the door behind her open and felt the presence of a man no older than 20 years enter the room.
She took a deep breath and sensed his fear. "Do not be afraid child. I will not harm without reason."
The man relaxed a little at those words and said, "I beg your pardon milady, but I wish to look at whom I speak with."
The woman chuckled slightly, "Of course, how rude of me" she said and turned her chair around to face the young man. "I, as you should already know, am Lady Devony."
The man gasped slightly as he was faced by Lady Devony. He had heard stories of her beauty yet from the moment he saw her, he knew that no story could ever do justice to the woman that now faced him. She had piercing hazel eyes, long flowing auburn hair, and ghostly white flesh.
The man suddenly brought back to reality with the smell of tea being made, quickly bowed and said, "‘it’s a pleasure to meet you Lady Devony. I am Stratton Merciano de Seville. I have traveled many miles to meet you milady."
Lady Devony eyed the man a bit suspiciously, but after a moment of seizing him up, she figured he was quite harmless. Her expression changed from suspicious to utterly bored. "So I suppose you are here to know if we have found the One’s."
"Yes, milady, I am." said Stratton.
Lady Devony looked at Stratton with her piercing stare and said, "We may have. I am not yet sure, but I think I have found them."
As soon as she muttered those words she felt several men approaching her chamber and coming at such an accelerated pace that she chuckled slightly to herself.
"I shall hurry to tell Lord Covington of this wonderful news!" said Stratton excitedly.
"There shall be no need for that. He is standing right behind that door." replied Lady Devony with a slight nod in the direction of the door behind Stratton.
