Dr. Jaxon Kells. The name seems welcoming enough. His polite smile and dirty blonde hair tied back in a silver ribbon don't seem menacing. He's young and not threatening with those soft blue eyes and peach skin, clothed in a white dress shirt, red tie, black slacks, perfectly shined shoes, and white lab coat. He walked down the hall, filling out some information for a new patient and stopped when he heard the light singing of "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts beedlelleedee!" "Good morning, Kal." He said in that smooth as silk ribbon voice.

"Morning doc!" Kal bounced over to the barred windows. "What's for breakfast?"

"Eggs, toast, bacon, orange juice and a slice of watermelon with feta cheese. The same thing you ask for every morning, Rook." He gave a light chuckle.

Kal's face split into a wide and cruel grin. "You know me all too well... Maybe I could get a treat this morning since I've been such a good boy?"

Jaxon looked over at the boy, staring at him, half lidded through his glasses.

"Come on doc, give me something. Or I might just have to take it from youuuu~" The patient sang.

Dr. Kells placed the clipboard on a window sill and stepped over to the door. He was still a moment before grabbing Rook's chin in between his thumb and pointer finger, that soft blue now a cold grey. "Rook, you've been in here for more than half a year with good behavior. Don't push it."

"What are you guna do?" Rook slid his longer than average tongue over Kells' hand. "Ship me away?"

"In this hospital, I am Judge. Jury. And executioner. Don't test me. Now if you don't mind, I have a transfer to meet." He let go and walked down the hall into his office, waiting for the doorbell to buzz to let the newbie in.

Damien rang the buzzer to Jaxon's office. Damien himself a young man. He looked stern but he was well known for his astounding work with psychopaths as well as his ground breaking if not unorthodox methods. He stepped into the office, stunning blue eyes shining from behind glasses. "Good morning sir."

Matthew sat in his room, painting a picture of a rabbit being mauled by a fox, he'd only been here a week, but had yet to have a real session. His long white hair had been pulled back, lavender eyes glaring at the paint. "Cheap off brand bullshit... Yes, I know.... I doubt it... Have you yet to notice our location Michael?... Clearly.... you are forgiven..." The problem? Matthew was alone in the room.

Jazon glanced up at a camera overlooking Matthew's room. He gave a light smirk as he watched the boy talk to himself, then looked up at Damien. There was that professionally sweet smile. He stood and held out a hand. "Good morning, Damien. It's a pleasure to finally meet you. I've heard a lot about you."

Kalamazoo peeked out through the bars, listening to Matthew. "Hey! Matti!" He whispered loudly.

Damien brushed his fingers along the bridge of his nose to push his glasses up. A soft, handsome smile gracing his face. "The pleasure is mine, Doctor Kells. I was told you have a problem patient that may very well need my attention?" He takes a seat across from Jaxon without being asked to.

Matthew sighs and rubs his temples. "What is it, Kal, or Rook, whomever you might be?" Matthew didn't think himself to be insane, he just thought everyone else was. Because, clearly there was someone there with him.

A glint of amusement flickered in his eyes and he sat back down. "Yes, indeed. His name is Kalamazoo. If he doesn't respond to that, he'll respond to Rook. Also, Kal, Llama, and Zoo because they all have an odd amount of letters. I'd suggest you introduce yourself as Dr. Andrews. He's less likely to respond if you have an even amount of letters in yourself. He's been taking up a lot of my time and I've yet to have a real session with another patient because of his interuptions. If he attacks you, he won't go down without 4 times the normal does of sedative."

Kal tilted his head, confused. "I'm Kal. Who's Rook?" In most cases, patients with MPD were aware of they're personalities, but saw them as seperate beings. In Kal's case, he only knew he had black outs.

Damien nods slowly. "I don't think I should have many problems, I have two cannibals under my belt amoung the others I have dealt with. He shouldn't be hard to deal with..." Damien runs his fingers through his short ebony hair and peers at Jaxon over his glasses. He almost seemed to be reading him with his serious expression and blue eyes panning side to side.

Matthew shakes his head. "Never mind it. What is it you want? I am painting..." He murmurs, suddenly looking over his shoulder. "I'm not sure how you manage to get in here, Akio, but next time you leave I would be grateful if you would either tell me you are leaving, or take me along with you as I have grown bored and tired of this place. I am a brilliant mind, nothing more, it is the rest of the world that has gone insane..."

Jaxon stared back, his eyes never moving, and in fact, never blinking. He chuckled in his head, knowing Damien would never see past the kind, professional exterior. "I warn you to be cautious. He switches at random points in the day. So far, the only scheduled times are first thing in the morning and if he's provoked."

Kal pouted at tilted his head. "Are you talking to the Invisible Asian man again?"

Damien nods his head and pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "When may I meet him? I am eager to begin." He says softly, brushing a thread from his white coat.

There was a pause, followed by a low growl. "He's is not invisible, you are just insane..."

He nodded and stepped to his feet. "Come. This way." He led him out and down the hall.

"I know he's there, but I can't see him. Is he like a super hero??" He looked excited. "I won't tell, I promise!" He backed up when he heard footsteps. "Pretend to be doing something! He's coming..."

Jaxon knocked on the door. "Kalamazoo, I have someone for you to meet..."

Damien nods and follows along with Jaxon, his arms behind his back, face at a nuetral expression.

"He's not a super hero and I am doing something, I'm painting, you annoying twit..." Matthew mutters.

"Per usual, Kal. Against the wall." He unlocked the door and walked in. Kal pressed himself against the wall, looking comfy in his straightjacket. "Kalamazoo, this is Dr. Andrews."

"Hihi!"

From the next room, Matthew could be heard muttering to Micheal or Akio in low, hushed tones.

"Good to meet you, Kal." He smiles warmly and bows his head.

"I'll leave you too him." Jaxon smiled and stepped out, pausing next to him to whisper "be careful." Then walked out to knock on Matthew's door. "Matthew, it's Dr. Kells."

Kalamazoo looked up, smiling sweetly. "Its nice to meet you."

Damien bows his head to Jaxon and enters, locking the door behind himself and taking a seat on the chair. "Good Morning, Kal. I came from a few states over just to meet you, you know." He smiles warmly.

Matthew backed against the wall. "What is it now?" He glares at the door. "Leave me be, I'm painting..." He mutters.

Kal giggled and slid to the floor, crossing his legs. "That's nice of you. But why? Jaxon still hasn't really explained why I'm here.."

Jaxon quietly walked in, locking the door. "What are you painting?"

"Well, you see, when you have your black outs your body and mind keep working, but your mind isn't you, do you understand? When you black out you become another person..."

"A fox hunting a rabbit..." He glares at Jaxon, pressing firmly to the wall, trying to become invisible.

Kal tilted his head adorably. "Really? Like I'm a super hero and I don't remember??" He smiled brighter.

Jaxon glanced down at the painting, then picked up a tube of white paint. "... would you like better paints? The nurses bought these at Walmart..."

Damien frowns softly. "I wish I could say so, but more like a super villain..." He murmurs.

Matthew continues to glare at him. "I don't trust you not to drug them, these would be fine if they would remember I despise acrylic and prefer oil..."

Kalamazoo pouts and sits up. "I'm a super villain? Do I get a cool hat?"

"You've been on a week of good behavior. I could allow you on a computer to order the ones you want. Under supervision of course." He smirked.

Damien chuckles softly. "I'm sorry to say, but no... You see, Kal... The man that takes over your body when you black out is a not-so-very nice person..."

"I do not misbehave, I am always on good behavior and I do not belong here, it is you and the others that have toys in the attic..."

Kalamazoo scooted forward. "... what's his name?" He looked like he didn't want to know.

"I know. But we just want to make sure." He smiled politely. "Now how's about those paints?"

"As I understand it he calls himself Rook, but I've not met him." Damien folds his hands in his lap.

Matthew lofts a brow, glancing to Micheal as he stands, looking worried. "Alright, I suppose... I prefer Jack Richeson Oil paints..." He mutters.

There was a flicker in Kal's bright red eyes. They slipped into a darker shade , more like blood. "Rook? Is that who everyone is talking about?"

Jaxon glanced over to where Matthew was looking. "Would Michael like anything specific?"

Damien's glasses shimmered a moment. "Yes, Rook you."

Matthew's eyes narrowed. "Do not mock me."

Rook's face split into a wide grin. "Heh... sorry. Wanted to see if you could tell." He leaned forward. "So, Dr. Andrews. What's your first name? Jaxon never introduces people by only their last name."

"I'm not. Would he like anything. " he asked again.

"Damien... I've dealt with you type before, I've trained myself to notice the slightest change in anyone."

Matthew looks to Micheal, then to Akio. "Akio would like some Sake." Akio lofts a brow, he hadn't said anything, so he looked a bit confused. Matthew just wanted to see where Jaxon was going with this.

Rook immediately scrunched his nose and curled up. "You can leave now." He muttered

Jaxon was known as the "mind reader" back in school for the way he could just read people. "I think Akio can speak from himself. Would you like sake, Akio?" He looked to where Matthew was looking.

"Oh, no, you see, I'm not going anywhere." He a-crosses his legs.

Akio lofted a brow and crossed his arms, shrugging, looking at Jaxon. He didn't understand english.

Matthew smirks, knowing this.

"Then we'll be sitting in silence, now won't we?" He turned and faced the wall.

" Anata ni wa, ikutsu ka no sake ga sukidesu ka?" Jaxon asked Akio again, but this time in Japanese.

Damien smirks. "You know, my middle name is Malachai..." He remarks.

Akio clicks his tongue. "Hai..."

Matthew doesn't respond, though he knew that word.

Rook gave a low growl, but he kept quiet and still.

Jaxon nodded. "I'll go get some." He hopped to his feet and stepped out quietly.

"You could always call me Kai..." Damien replies.

Matthew relaxed some, a bit shocked.

Rook was quiet for a few moments more, then looked back. "Fine." He turned. "Untie me."

Jaxon knew that this was one of the few ways to gain Matthew's trust. He came back with a box of brand new oil paints of the kind Matt liked. He shut and looked the door behind him and poured a small cup of sake for Akio. "May I see your other paintings?"

Damien smirks. "Can you behave yourself?" He stands up, pushing his glasses up his nose.

Matthew gestures to where his paintings lean against the wall, a few of them of Michael and Akio, some violent, but beautiful, some breath taking landscape, some just terrifying.

"Untie me and find out." Rook grinned and moved his arms fowards, the buckles clinking.

Jaxon looked over them, examining them closely. "These are lovely..."

Damien pushes his glasses up a moment. "Tell me, Rook... what is it you desire most?" He glances up at him.

"Uh huh... sure for Wal-mart priced Acrylic shit..." He drags out a blank canvas and puts it on his easel.

The boy leaned back against the wall and stared at him with those blood red orbs he dared call eyes. "Freedom. To do whatever I please without consequence. And yourself?"

"It's not the quality of the tools, but of the artist." He said smoothly, glancing over at him."

"I want you and Kal to be in a state for you both to be happy... there is no point in trying to make you 'normal' for what is normal anyway? Can you promise me not to do damage to anyone including yourself if I untie you?" He looks at him over his glasses.

Matthew picks up a brush and puts red paint on it like a tooth brush, painting in the center-mid-top, in a circling motion.

"I never damage me." Rook grinned. "And I promise not to damage you. I won't promise against anyone else though. They might piss me off."

Jaxon sat down across from him. "Tell me about yourself, Matthew."

Damien stands up and walks over to him, unbinding his arms and legs. "There you go."

"What could you wish to know that you do not already?" Matthew picks up the black paint and applies a tiny bit to the brush, blending around the red to fade the top from red to black.

Rook hopped to his feet and stretched, multiple bones cracking at the same time. "Mmm! Wonderful... So what's it going to take to get you to let me out of here, Kai?

Dr, Kells crossed one leg over the other, carefully observing him. "Everything from your point of view. Why do you think you're here?"

"Well, I'm going to have to get to know you both first... I can't just come in and suddenly say you can go." He smiles. "On a different note, why is it that even numbers bother you and Kal?"

(You forgot Matt)

Rook shrugged. "Fair enough." He twitched and shuddered. "/because they are foul. Everything about them just makes my skin crawl and itch." He motioned to the straight jacket. "They had to alter my jacket because it had 4 buckles and Kal nearly swallowed his tongue because of it."

Damien chuckles softly. "But your name..." He points out lightly.

"I am here because the rest of you are insane but seem to think I am."

"Dr. Kells spells it like that to piss me off. I spell it R-O-O-K-E." He muttered. "You have no idea how badly I'd love to tear him to shreds..."

"I don't think you're insane. I think you're different and talented." He said simply.

"I see..." He pulls out his pen and opens the folder in his hands, putting an 'e' at the end of Rooke's name each time it came up. "There..." He shows him what he'd done.

"Then why will you not let me leave? Even if I were hallucinating Michael and Akio it's not hurting anyone... I only hurt people when they try to hurt me, t's self defense..."

Rooke looked over and smiled a little. "Thank you. At least you're not an asshole."

"Its more for study reasons." Jaxon explained. "The other doctors diagnosed you as a paranoid schitzophrenic. They also believe that Michael and Akio are personalities... "

"Of course not, I see no use in that method." He stands up and stretches.

"No, the crazy in the room next to me has MPS... if Akio and Micheal were other personalities I would not necessarily know of them, further more I would not see them outside my physical being, now would I. Doctor?" He said with a slight condescending tone as he began to make a vague almost jelly bean shape with black on the canvas.

"Oh, that's not a method to get me to comply. He does it just to bother me. You see, Dr. Jaxon Timothy Kells isn't the sweet professional man you see..." he cracked his back and took a seat beside Damien.

Jaxon smiled, amused. "The doctors that brought you here were the ones who said that. I pointed that out precisely. So what do you think they are?"

Damien shifts to look at him. His brow lofted. "Oh? What do you mean?"

"Frankly, I'm not sure, but my theory lies on Michael is an angel and Akio is the devil... not a demon, the devil... you have access to a computer, find out what his name means... I already know, let's see if you have the means or rather the care to find out for yourself."

"He sits real pretty, doesn't he?" Rooke chuckled to himself. "Naah. I don't want to get the good doctor in trouble."

"Akio, from Japanese aki "bright" combined with o "husband, man", o "male" or o "hero, manly"." Jaxon said, reciting from memory the definition.

"He does seem a bit off to me.." Damien remarks.

Matthew laughs, actually laughs. He turns his gaze to Jaxon, the first time his eyes actually locked onto Jaxon's. "That's cute, really, but I think you need to do more research my dear doctor... Akio has another meaning... it also means Morning Star."

Rooke nodded. "So is he hiring you as a day doctor? Or are you here just for me?" He smirked sexily.

Jaxon smiled wider. "I see... so Morning Star and the arch angel Michael. It sounds pretty poetic to me. You've got a devil and an angel on your shoulders."

Damien smirks. "Just you... well, not just you... I have a few more patients, but all hand picked."

"Not really, seeing as I can't understand Akio... he can't really persuade me to do bad things, can he?"

"Oh I imagine. But this specific hospital. I'm the only one you're seeing?" He rested his chin on the doctor's thigh.

"If he's the Devil, he can do anything." Jaxon pointed out.

"No, You, a poor girl named Ruby, and one other are my only patients." Damien reaches out and caresses his calloused fingers through Rooke's hair.

"Contrary wise, if he were an alternate personality then wouldn't I know how to speak Japanese? I know English, German and French..." Matthew pointed out, painting a golden yellow triangle shape on the painting at the end of the jelly bean like shape, then two lines near the bottom of the shape.

Rooke's eyes slid close in a moment of pleasure, before snapping open again. "Who's the other?"

"So maybe you do have the devil and an angel of your shoulders..." jaxon mumbled. "Why you?"

"A woman named Sophia..." He replies simply.

"How in the world should I know?" He replies flatly continuing to paint.

"Oh? Are they sexy?" He purred, nipping lightly at his thigh.

"Why do you think its you?" Jaxon raised a brow.

Damien cleared his throat and lofted a brow. "Please don't nip at me... I do not know what they look like yet, my focus is on you today, tomorrow Ruby."

Matthew sighs in irritation. "I do not know."

Rooke's eyes flashed and he did it again. "Awww but I wana know if you're tasty..."

He nodded and leaned back in the chair. "Where would you like to be right now, Matthew?"

Damien looks at him over his glasses. He lifts a hand, his knuckle bent, held out to Rooke. "Don't hurt me and you can bite my finger..." He pushes his glasses up with his free hand.

"Right now? I would like to be back in my apartment in my drawing room with classical music playing, dim lights, a good canvas and easel, good brushes, comfortable clothes and a fire crackling in the fire place."

Rooke almost looked confused for a moment, then grinned. "You're not like the other white coats, are you?" He leaned forward and slid his tongue along the digit. "Hmmm... you know what else I want?" He leaned up into his ear. "To get laid."

"I can get you most of that if you'd like. To make your stay more comfortable." He offered

Damien smirks. "You and me both, but, I can't help you with that, I'm sorry. But... no, I'm not like the others."

"Why can't I just go home?" He says, his brush laid down, his back to Jaxon, looking out the barred window.

He pouted and nipped at the tip of his finger. "You cooouuulllddd…"

"Because people care about you and are worried." He walked over, caressing fingers through the boy's hair.

Damien takes his chin in his hand. "Now, now... if I have sex with you I'll be fired from here and I'll never see you again, is that what you want?"

Matthew jumps and pushes Jaxon's arm away from him. "Do not touch me. You are nothing more than a prison warden to me, and those people do not give the slightest fuck about me or I would not be here. Any sane person put here would be barking bloody mad by a week's time."

"I won't tell..." Rooke gave a light purr. "You get what you want, I get what I want, Jaxon gets what he wants, everyone wins."

"Most likely, yes." Jaxon caressed his cheek. "Good thing no one in this great wide world is sane."

"I'm sorry, my friend, but I don't sleep with men I don't love." He fixes his glasses.

Matthew slaps his hand away and glares. "I told you not to touch me, I do not want your hands on me."

"Boo. You're useless to me then." He flopped onto his back and shut his eyes.

"Why not? I have no weapons on me..."

Damien chuckles softly. "Sorry, I've had my heart broken enough..."

"I can see that you fool, your hands do not belong on me. We are not friends, family or lovers, there for you have no right to touch me."

"Then don't get attached. Have fun, let yourself go for a while..." Rooke waved his hand lazily.

"I am your doctor, therefore that statement is incorrect." Jaxon pointed out. "I will have to get a blood sample at some point."

"I can't share an intimate moment without getting attached, that is the problem." Damien replies quietly.

"No, Dr. Michaels draws blood, not you, I know this as well as you do." Matthew backs away from him, pressing against a wall.

"Awww cute." Rooke grinned widely. "Then you can get attached to me. I mean, no one visits me or cares who I am.. I'll be all yours and just yours."

"I'm a doctor. I am certified to draw blood. Calm down.." Jaxon gently took his hand. A strange wave of calm would flood through the patient.

Damien smirks. "If we can convince the congregation that you're well enough to leave, then maybe, but dating you now would cost me my job..."

Matthew pulls away before he can touch him, ducking away. "Leave me alone!"

Sirens and alarms broke the air. "Code green, code green, room 137-b... code green, code green." A voice came over the loud speakers. Code Green mean a patient was trying to hurt themselves or had already. Room 137-b was Rubecca, better known as Ruby.

"We can keep it a secret-" he looked up at the sirens and groaned. "Ruby always fucks stuff up..."

Jaxon looked up and quickly rushed out and locked the door, hurrying to Ruby's room.

Damien bolts up and leaves the room, locking the door behind him and running to Ruby's room. He arrived as Jaxon did to Ruby being given CPR. Above where she lay on the floor a sheet, cut at the end, on the floor the rest of it, knotted in a noose. They'd had to cut her down.

Jaxon was just about to, but Damien beat him to it. He ordered a few nurses to get some things, then knelt down beside her. Once she was resuscitated, he gently pulled the other doctor back. "I've got this... please, check on Sophia for me."

Damien frowns softly. "Alright I suppose..." He turns and walks to Sophia's room and knocks on her door. "Sophia?"

"Somebody mixed my medicine... I don't know what I'm on... Somebody mixed my mediciiiine... oh baby its all wrong.." Sophia sang in a seductive tone, half collapsed against the wall. "Are you the new doctor...?"

Jaxon lifted Ruby to the bed and stared at her with that dull look. Suddenly, the glance shattered to a shining, calm anger in his eyes. He gripped her chin firmly and made her look at him. "I've been very good to you, have I not, my little gem? I've got you the clay you like, everything your previous doctor told me to do, I did willingly.. and is this how you repay kindness?

Damien unlocked the door and walked in, locking it behind him he stood watching her. "I am. My name is Doctor Andrews... Damien Andrews. It's a pleasure to meet you Sophia."

Fear lit the dull brown eyes of a half dead girl. She turned her head away so not to look into his eyes, dried tears lit wet as fresh ones slid over the dry tracks. She, of course, said nothing, but shook and cowered away from him.

Sophia, in her black and red silk night gown, stepped - or more drunkenly manuevered her way in front of him. She drapped her arms over his shoulders. "Kells didn't tell me we'd have another sexy doctor..."

Jaxon held her still. "I told Rooke and now I'll tell you. In this hospital, I am judge, jury, and executioner. Only I decided whether you live or die, and if you keep this up, I'll make sure you live a very long and very uncomfortable life. Am. I. Understood."

Damien chuckles and pushes his glasses up. "Well I wouldn't say that but, I have to tell you, miss, you're barking up the wrong tree." He smirks.

Ruby tries to pull away from him, trying to get off the bed and get away from him.

"I would." She smirked and brushed her lips to his. "Aww and why?"

Jaxon let go and pulled up a chair. "I'm observing you for the night."

Damien moves his head away from her. "Because I don't like women in a romantic way."

Ruby curled up, knees to her chest, arms around her knees. She stared at him over her arms.

"You don't need to be romantic with a woman to be pleased.." she grinned, pressing to him.

Unlike the other staff, Jaxon sat perfectly still and quiet, staring back at her. He hardly blinked, his chest hardly moving his perfect posture as he breathed.

"Oh, I don't do purely physical relationships..." He gently pushes her back from him.

Ruby got up and sat at her desk, ignoring his existance as she began to sculpt something."

"Aww... are you contemplating a relationship with Rooke then?" She purred in his ear.

Jaxon watched her, examining the clay. "Would you like it baked?"

Damien smirked. "I will not risk my job to date a patient."

Ruby shrugged, she never knew if she wanted to keep a piece until it was finished.

"He won't tell... he's good at keeping secrets... also, he's insane so Dr. Kells assumes that most of what he says is a lie. Most of it is, anyways.." Sophia gently coaxed him towards her bed.

Dr. Kells nodded and continued to watch. After Richard Mills retired, he asked Jaxon, his favorite student, to watch over her and take Ruby as a patient. Jaxon agreed with a smile, but inside thought that Ruby was a nuisence.

Damien doesn't go to her bed. "I will know, I won't risk my job."

Well, that was something they agreed on Ruby thought herself to be a nuisance as well. she just kept sculpting, silently.

"Oh but he has such a warm embrace... trust me. I know... and that Kalamazoo. He's the cutest little thing... still thinks he's a virgin."

Jaxon stood up and walked over, sliding gentle fingers through her hair.

"If anything were to happen between he and I it would be after he's not my patient. I've said this to him already."

Ruby jumped and darted out of her chair, knocking it over she presses against the wall, edging away from him.

"Well then, Dr. Andrews... you'll be waitin' a good long while before he's yours. If Jaxy boy has any say in the release of that there boy, he won't leave until we're all 6 feet undah." Sophia let go and flopped on her bed. Her voice had a Cajun twang to it.

Jaxon stepped over, one foot in front of the other, and knelt down to her, picking up a lock of hair and smelling the sweetness of it. "Be good to me, and you'll get the same, Rubecca.."

Damien pushes his glasses up, closing his eyes, a soft smirk on his features. "Well all the more reason for Kal to try to get well... it's not as though I have a line of men chasing after me." He opens his eyes and looks at her, a brick wall in his eyes.

Ruby stared at him with glassy eyes as he approached, flinching as he raised a hand to take a lock of her messy, chopped hair. Her head turned away, eyes closed tight. A bruise and cloth burn forming on her neck from the sheet.

"I highly doubt that's the case, mon ami. Why don't you run along to Kal. He probably misses you." She waved him off.

Jaxon took her hands and helped her to her feet. "Come. Let's get you some medical attention."

"First you should tell me a bit about you?" He takes a seat in the chair.

Ruby pulls her hands away and shakes her head.

"Quid pro quo, doctah. I tell you things, you tell me things. Not about your work, no... yourself. Quid pro quo. Yes, or no?" She laid on her side, head propped up by her hand.

Jaxon pulled her to stand. "I wasn't asking."

He chuckles softly. "I didn't know you were allowed to watch horror films in here." He smirks. "That seems fair within reason, of course."

Ruby winces and frowns, leaning away from him, but allowing him to pull her.

"I watched it all the time when I was a lil girl... Dr. Lectah was always my type.." she grinned widely. "What do you wana know?"

He led her out and to the medical office where he had her lay down and strapped her in. "Lift your head."

"Tell me in your words why you're here..." He watches her, smirking.

Ruby began to tremble, turning her wrists in the cuffs, she lifts her head and shakes.

Sophia watched him, then got to her feet, walking over and straddling his lap. "I fucked a lot of people, and in turn, killed a lot of people.."

He gently smoothed ointment over the burn. "See? I'm not hurting you..."

He lofts a brow. "Alright, your turn."

She flinched as he touched her, her body shaking more.

"Why is your self esteem so low sugah?" She nuzzled her nose to his.

Jaxon cleaned her up and fixed her wounds, then unstrapped her and sat her back up. "See?"

"My self esteem isn't low, I'm modest."

She scrambled off the table, slipping on the floor and running to her room, slamming the door.

"Modest, he says..." She chuckled to herself. "Alright sugah. I'm bored with this game. Go play with Kal and give Rooke this for me." Sophia leaned down, locking her lips with his, then got up and wandered back to her bed, flopping down.

Jaxon sighed through his nose and made his way back to her room, locking the door behind him and sitting on a chair. "Make me something."

Damien pulls away. "Please refrain from doing that, I really would like to keep my job..." He gets up and leaves, going back to Kal/Rooke.

Ruby was already at her desk, sculpting. She stands up and walks over to him, grabbing his wrist. This was the first time she'd touched a doctor. she picked up his hand and put a sculpture in his hand. A bird leaning down to peck a worm. She let go of his wrist and went to her bed, sitting on it, knees to her chest, arms around them, staring at him over the top of her arms.

Sophia waved and grinned. "Byyyyeee..." Rooke whistled the tune to lovely bunch of coconuts. "Here they are standing in a row..."

Jaxon raised a brow but didn't flinch. He looked at the small sculpture. "I'll put this right on my desk. If I fire it, will you paint it?

"Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head..." Damien adds, singing softly. He chuckles as he takes a seat.

Ruby shrugs. She guessed she would.

Rooke looked over, only moving his eyes, and gave that Cheshire grin. "Give 'em a twist, a flick of the wrist, that's what the showman said!'

Jaxon smiled lightly. "Ruby, if you can br on good behavior for a week, I'll give you access to the art room."

Damien chuckles once more. "Good show, Rooke, most people don't know that line."

Ruby just stares at him over her arms. It's not as though she were like Rooke and the others who attacked doctors.

"I know the entire song by heart. Even the instrumental bits." He rested his hands behind his head. "So, Kai. What brings you back to my humble abode? I'm going to not allow you to come back if you don't start taking off your pants."

"By good behavior, I mean I want you to stop trying to destroy yourself..." his voice went a bit softer.

Damien smirked softly, pushing his glasses closer to his eyes. "You don't want to see my legs, I'm missing large pieces of my legs... large slices just gone." He looks at Rooke with a serious expression, he was being very serious.

Ruby closed her eyes and turned her face from him, in that case she would probably never see the art room.

Rooke couldn't help but laugh lightly through his teeth. "I'd love to see... I mean, I'd love a piece too. Don't think I don't know about you."

"One week." Jaxon said softly. "Then you can try again and I can stop you."

Damien lofted a brow. "What do you mean you know about me?" How could a patient a million miles from his old asylum find out about Jake, their romance and Jake's death? His chest tightened as he thought of Jake, those soft brown eyes hidden behind that brick wall, his silken brunette hair and freckles splattered over pale face. He closed his eyes tight and shook the thoughts but the pain stayed.

Ruby's head tilted slightly, she didn't understand his words.

"You're not that much older than me, Kai. And I'm not just some psychopath you pick up on the street." His eyes flashed again.

"Don't do it for 1 week. After 1 week, you can have access to the art room and can try to kill yourself again."

"What exactly do you know?" Damien kept his calm even tone, but stood up, leaning beside the door frame.

Ruby stared at him, something about this didn't seem right.

"Ah ah ah. Do you really think I'd just tell you? You have to give me what I want first." Rooke sat up, crossing one leg over the other.

"An entire art room. With all the supplies you could want. Under supervistion of course."

Damien lofts a brow. "And what would that be?"

Ruby sighs through her nose and nods.

"Sex or freedom are the only two things I covet.." he purred, stepping up and walking over.

"So can you do as I say?" Jaxon crossed his arms.

"You know I can do neither..." He looks at the clock. "I must go..." His voice was colder than before, a hint of pain in it. He unlocks the door and walks out, locking it behind him.

Ruby just nods once more.

Rooke grabbed his wrist before he left. "Do you think Jake would have wanted you to just walk out?"

"Good." Jaxon sat back down and watched her quietly.

Damien closes his eyes, not looking at Rooke. "Do not speak of Jake as if you knew him..." He pulls his wrist free and leaves.

Ruby closes her eyes and curls up to herself tighter.

Rooke moved quickly and slammed the door shut, standing infront of it. "And what would you say if I did...?"

The silence was deafening. The room was dimly lit and the only light was a diagonal stream cutting through him, one of his eyes visable behind his glasses. He said nothing. Didn't move. Hardly breathed. He just stared at her, hands folded infront of his mouth as he observed.

Damien doesn't look at him. "You did not. Do not attempt to lie to me, Rooke. I do not break like the glass vase doctors you are used to."

Ruby did not move either, she sat with her eyes closed, from one side of Jaxon the door clicked as if having been unlocked by a nurse on the other side but there was no steps up to the door and none leaving. The blinds of the room rotated to fill the room with sunlight.

"Neither does Jaxon and I've got nothing on him... Soulful, soft brown eyes. Hair like down feathers to the touch. Skin like porclain, speckled with freckles that make him look perfect. That Jake?" He smirked.

His body did not move, but Dr. Kells' eyes went to the door and the blinds. They fell back on the girl and focused on her small form.

"I will not discuss my past with you, Rooke, but no, your description is flawed.." Damien refuses to look at him.

Ruby did not seem to move but the unlocked door swung open slowly, a moment later Ruby stood and went into her bathroom to use it.

"What part did I get wrong? He was a little thing when I knew him..." Rooke's face split into a grin and he lifted his pant leg, an indented piece of scarred flesh on his calve. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours..."

Jaxon watched the door. He pulled out his phone and typed something in, a video camera to the bathroom popping up in his screen.

"You could not have known him at a young age." Damien replies, his voice growing colder and colder.

Ruby sat on the toilet, her white dress covering her lap and bottom. Her hands held between her knees, head down, suddenly the camera above her just stopped working.

Rooke leaned down to a chest next to the door. He opened it and pulled out a muzzle mask. It was the one used on Jake. He slipped it over his own face and grinned. "And why's that?"

Jaxon got up quietly and walked over, opening the door. It wouldn't lock.

Damien didn't look at Rooke. "Because he doesn't live in this state, not to mention, I know as well as you do that you have a lack of memory..." He swung the door open and left, locking it behind himself, going to the staff room and sitting on a couch. He closed his eyes once more and removed his glasses. He was thankful for the lack of other people around as he resisted the welling of tears threatening to break the surface. How dare that little fucker claim to have known Jake? HIS Jake. He rubbed his eyes with the back of his hand as his mind flashed through memories of the brunette.

Ruby looked up and bent her knees in, she seized her dress and pulled it down as far as she could, glaring at him as if to say; 'What are you doing?! I'm trying to use the bathroom!'

"I was only caught this year... You think I don't get around?" Rooke stumbled to the side as Damien shoved though. He waited a little, looking through the bars to see which way he went. He went back into the chest and pulled out a photo, stepping onto his bed and getting close to the security camera in the corner. He tapped on it a little; the screen in the staff room showing Dr. Andrews what was happened. "Oh Kaaai.... He was a cutie, wasn't he?" The cannibal grinned widely, pressing the photo to the screen; a picture of Jake when he was younger, asleep on his bed was what it portrayed.

"The camera's stopped working and I need to make sure you're not trying to do harm to yourself." Jaxon said matter-of-fact. He turned his back to her. "Carry on with your business, but as long as you're not visible to cameras, someone needs to be watching you."

Damien looked up and seen the screen. He slid his glasses back on calmly and stood up. His eyes searched the other screens for a moment. He made his way from the room and to Ruby's room. He knocked then went in. "Doctor Kells? I wish to resign." He said calmly though his nose was still a touch red. "It was a mistake coming here so soon after my loss..."

Ruby clicked her tongue at Jaxon, the most noise she's ever made. She glared at his back as Damien came in. The light bulb in the bathroom popped loudly and cast her into darkness. She wiped herself and pulled up her panties while she had the privacy to do so, then ducked past Jaxon and went to her bed.

Only Jaxon's eyes flicked to the light as it went out. He waited, then watched as she went to her bed. He looked up at Damien. "I understand. Rooke does know how to get under one's skin. I didn't actually expect you to be able to handle him. Did he do something to you?"

Rooke grinned and started dancing around his room. "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts deedleleedee! Here they are standing in a roooowww.... Big ones, small ones, some as big as your-" He slammed his fist into the wall, the concrete cracking a little along with splitting his skin. "Head..."

Damien shakes his head and presses his glasses up on his nose. "I can handle him just fine, what I can't handle is my own mind and thoughts... my memories. Perhaps after I step out for a smoke I'll be alright... pardon my intrusion..." He turns and leaves, going outside for a cigarette. He stood not far from Rooke's barred and metal lattice window. He leaned against the wall, arms crossed. He looked heart broken.

Jaxon nodded. "I'll have the paperwork ready if you decide to go through with it." He sat back down and continued his silent watch on Ruby.

Damien would hear the soft show tune from the open window. It went on for about a minute before a crack and a crash was heard. "THERE STANDS ME WIFE! THE IDOL OF ME LIFE SINGING ROLL A BOWL A BALL A PENNY A PINCH!" Rooke had ripped the chair that was bolted to the ground off and slammed it repeatedly into the walls and windows.

Ruby just sat on her bed, glaring at Jaxon.

Damien ignored the noise and pulled out his wallet, flipping it open with his thumb to caress a picture inside.

"Don't give me that look." Jaxon said sternly. "I'm the only reason you're not being violated in a prison.. I think you should be grateful."

Rooke paused and walked towards the window. The bars and lattice made looking through it difficult. "Heeeyy. Who's ever out there... Can I have some?" He hadn't had a cigarette in a very long time.

Ruby looked away from him, she hated him. She just wanted to pee in private.

Damien put his wallet away, he knew the voice. "Perhaps if you behaved you could have one..." He replied.

Jaxon couldn't help but crack a smirk. "Oh the terrible things I could do to you."

"Huh? I didn't do anything though.." Rooke had been pushed back and let Kal back through.

Ruby looked back to him the lights above them popped loudly and went out until they were cast in darkness.

"No, you didn't Kal, the man inside you did..." He replies, taking a drag from his smoke.

"Cute parlor trick. I can still see you." Jaxon said in a low mumble. Two shiny round spots stared at her, his eyes were like a cat's in the dark, reflecting off the minute bits of light from the outside.

"... What did he do? I'm sorry if he hurt you.."

The room began to feel warm and cozy, a bit hazy as it it were trying to lull him into sleep.

"It's nothing for you to worry about Kal, I assure you." Damien replies, taking another drag.

Jaxon was unaffected by this. Those bright orbs continued to stare at her.

"Are you sure? You seem upset... By the way, do you know who broke my chair?" He looked over at the shattered furniture. "... It's... Um... Broken."

Jaxon's glasses shattered in front of his eyes.

"Just memories being brought to surface... give me a moment and I will be in..." He took the last drag with a deep inhale and slow exhale. He flicked the butt and pushed his glasses up on his nose, walking inside. He soon came to Kal/Rooke's room.

He didn't even flinch. Instead, the doctor got up and walked over, sitting on the bed. "I'm helping you. Why are you being difficult?"

Kal was waiting, swinging his feet off his bed. He looked up when Damien walked in and smiled with that childishly bright smile. "Hihi!"

She just wanted privacy, not to mentioned he basically threatened her.

Damien waves a bit. "How are you feeling Kal?"

"I know you just want to be left alone, but it is very difficult to do that when you are trying to off yourself at every turn." Jaxon laid back on the bed. "Come here." He patted the space next to him.

The young boy shrugged a little. "... Angry... I don't know why... And- um... frustrated.." He mumbled with a light blush.

Ruby shakes her head, she wanted as much distance from him as she could muster.

"Frustrated?" He questions, lofting a brow.

"Ruby. I said, come. Here." He said with a bit of a fatherly authoritative voice.

Kalamazoo blushed deeply and covered his lap a bit. "Yeah... It happens when I black out..."

That just furthered her decision to stay away. She even moved further away. She hated her father.

Damien nods. "Oh, I see. Perhaps I should allow you alone time then..."

His hand shot out and grabbed her arm, yanking her over to rest her head on his shoulder. "You made a noise today and grabbed my wrist. Now then, am I getting on your good side or are you just plotting my demise?"

"No, its okay... It'll go away eventually..." he mumbled. "So, um.. who's Jake? I woke up and all I could think was 'ask Andrews about Jake'.."

Ruby pulled away from him as the bathroom mirror shattered. She looked at him with scared eyes.

Damien remained calm. "He's of no concern of yours..." He says politely.

Jaxon kept an arm around her, not letting her move far and just lied there. "I'm not going to hurt you unless you give me a reason to, so relax."

"Oh. Okay. Sorry, I didn't mean to pry..." Kal looked like such a cute and good kid. It was a shame that he was plagued by a monster. "Um... Jaxon never tells me... Do you know when I'll be let out/"

Ruby's whole body is tense, her eyes closed tight.

"It's a tender subject." He pushes his glasses up. "Well, as soon as we know that the person that comes out during your black outs is either gone or at no harm to anyone...there may be a way to suppress him with medicine."

Jaxon's aura was... Soothing. It was strange. He usually had a cold or aloof and dark sense to him when he wasn't pretending to be the good doctor. His embrace was warm and gentle, but he wasn't going to let her go any time soon. He sat there in silence, eyes closed.

Kal nodded and squirmed a little in his seat. "... Has he done.. Um.. Other things?" He looked at Damien. "Besides hurting people."

Ruby relaxed a bit but only a very little, her body trembling.

"Yes, as far as I know... I think I will video tape him when I speak to him next and show you, then you can decide what we will do with him..." He pushes his glasses up.

"What was is about Dr. Mills? Was it the whole "understanding you" thing? Because I could tell you things that would make you hate him.." he mumbled.

Kal's eyes flashed and he dropped his head. "Film me? Ooo that sounds kinky, Dr. Andrews..." Rooke grinned and turned his head slightly.

Ruby looked at him, confused as to what he meant.

"Funny, Rooke..." He pulls a small video camera from his pocket and sets it up.

"Naah. I'm not going to ruin him for you." Jaxon sighed through his nose.

"You know, I could just fake it. Or not talk to you." Rooke shrugged.

Ruby closes her eyes, picturing her 'happy place'.

"I suppose, but as things stand, Rooke, I'm cross with you. I thought for a moment you and I could have a civil conversation, but it seems you are incapable."

"I could ruin him for you if you'd like though. Give you some closure of what I saved you from."

"I am perfectly capable of having a civil conversation." Rooke gave him a look of mock hurt and shock. "You're just too touchy." He flopped onto the bed and curled up. "But film away. We may be here a while."

Ruby shakes her head and tries to move away once more.

"You knew exactly what to say in an attempt to anger me..." He replies simply, that is not a civil conversation.

He keeps her close. "Alright. I won't. But know you're safer now than you'll ever be. Would you like soup for dinner?" He asked, seeming to get off topic.

Rooke didn't answer. He simply kept his back to the doctor, ignoring him completely.

Ruby sighs through her nose.

Damien sits and waits. "You're acting like a child..."

"Tap my arm once for yes, twice for no.." He mumbled.

Still no answer. He had a lot of patients. There were few things that actually bothered him besides even numbers.

Ruby reaches up and taps his arm once.

"Did you know there's an even number of bars on your window?" Damien comments.

"What kind of soup? Once for broccoli cheddar, twice for chicken noodle and three times for french onion."

Damien could see Rooke visible twitch and his head glance towards the window. He gritted his teeth and gripped the blankets, trying to ignore it.

She taps him once more.

Damien looks up. "Six lights..."

"Alright." Jaxon got up and went over to the camera, fixing it a bit and checking his phone. He changed the lightbulbs and looked back at her. "I'll be right back okay?"

Rooke taped his fingers angrily on the headboard. He shut his eyes tight, refusing to look at the ceiling.

Ruby nods and goes to her desk, sculpting once more.

"You'll have to talk to me eventually, Rooke... after all, what we talked about before won't happen if you don't talk to me..."

Jaxon left for a few minutes before returning with a bowl of soup and a piece of french bread. "Here.."

Rooke continued to ignore the doctor. He began to count uneven numbers in his head, trying to soothe his OCD.

Ruby gets up and washes her hands in the bathroom, then takes the soup, nodding her head in thanks.

"Two, four, six, eight, ten..." Damien mutters softly.

Jaxon nodded and went over to the door. "I'll be back in a half an hour to get everything If the camera goes out, I'll be here sooner." He said simply and bowed at the waist, walking out and locking the door behind him.

"I was wrong.." Rooke muttered. "You are just like all the other doctors..." He covered his ears, trying to tune him out.

Ruby ate her bread and soup slowly, quiet as ever.

"No, I'm not like the others, you forced me to be like the others, Rooke..." Damien retorts calmly.

Jaxon walked back to Matthew's room. "Matthew? How are you doing?" he asked through the bars on his door.

"Lies..." he hissed and curled up, pulling a blanket over his head. "Go away now." And he thought things had been going so nicely.

Matthew had fallen asleep at his sketch table, hair falling over his handsome face.

"If you'd not dragged my past into this, I wouldn't be acting this way..."

Jaxon stepped in and watched curiously. He glanced at the camera in the corner of the room and walked over, shutting it off. He stepped towards Matthew and picked him up, bringing him over to the bed and laying him down, strapping his arms and legs into it.

"Stop being such a little bitch about him dying.." Rooke muttered angrily.

Matthew woke as he was strapped in and yelped. "What are you doing?! Release me now!"

"I'm not... it's a painful subject, as he was my first love." Daimen replied calmly. "But you wouldn't understand something like that, would you?"

"Calm down Matthew, I'm only taking a few blood samples. " he mumbled, pulling out a needle.

"I wouldn't... but Kal would. Kal would know all about it. Good thing I fixed that."

"You are not! You are going to inject me with something! Release me now! I demand you release me!" He begins to thrash, rocking the bed side to side violently, nearly tipping it.

"With your attitude, Rooke you'll never be out of here..." He stands up and picks up the camera, turning it off. "I need to check on something..."

Jaxon set on his stomach, tightening the straps. "Hold still."

"Check on what? Jake's grave? Tell me where he's buried, Kai. I'd love to pay him a visit on one of the patient field trips..." Rooke grumbled, looking back at him.

Matthew grunted. "You are hurting me! Remove yourself from me and remove these restraints!"

"No, and he is not buried anywhere. He had no one other than myself, he was cremated. The urn is on my mantle, if you must know, but... I digress, why do you care of me or of my past? I'm just another doctor, am I not? I can see now your attitude earlier towards me was a mere ruse..." He pushes his glasses up and walks towards the door.

Kells stuck the needle in his arm, a high doseage of sedative into it. "Sleep.."

Rooke let him get to the door, then sat up quickly. "Dont-.." he stared at the doctor. "Don't.. leave..." he mumbled.

Matthew sucks air through his teeth. "You-...hah... you b-bastard..." He grits his teeth and tries not to fall asleep. He shakes his head and trashes a bit more. "M-Michael..." He mutters before passing out, his head falling to one side.

Damien pauses, his hand on the door knob. "Why? You dislike me, it seems, why should I stay?"

He smirked lightly, leaning down and kissing his neck sweetly. "They always look so lovely when they sleep..." he muttered to himself.

"I don't want to be alone..." he muttered, looking at the floor.

Matthew whined softly in his sleep, his long white hair spread over the pillow.

"Is that the only reason?" He murmurs softly.

Jaxon smiled sweetly, sucking on the soft skin, touching up and down his sides and legs. "Sweet skin."

"... I'm always alone... I don't want to be alone.." he looked pathetic. Like Kal, but still Rooke.

Matthew turned red over his pale cheeks. "H-hah nnnn..." He whispers in his sleep.

Damien frowns and goes to the bed, sitting down. "Come here..." He holds a hand out to him.

Jaxon smirked and sucked lightly on his jaw, his hand sliding into his pants and stroking through his underwear.

Rooke scooted closer and leaned his head on Damien's shoulder, staying quiet.

Matthew whines and raises his hips.

Damien pulls him into his lap and pulls his head to his chest gently before holding him close.

Jaxon plays with the tip slowly, kissing his collar bone and slowly working downward.

Rooke curled up. He looked so small and feeble. Like a child scared of getting in trouble. "I just want people to stay.."

Matthew's face turns hot red, his hips trembling. He pants softly.

Damien caresses his hair. "If you stop hurting people they will stay around..." He murmurs soothingly.

Dr. Kells moved down, taking the hospital pants with him and engulfing his member.

"You'd think that killing people would make them like you... It doesn't. It just makes them dead." He whimpered. "They don't ever stay... Not even if I don't hurt them." He fell a bit quiet and almost whispered "Jake didn't stay.."

Matthew gasped in his sleep, letting out a shuddering breath.

"Jake hated most people..." Damien murmurs. "I'll tell you what, Rooke, if you can behave, I'll stay."

Jaxon glanced up at him, smirking and bobbing his head quickly.

"And "behave" inquires what, exactly?" Rooke muttered, nuzzling his collarbone.

Matthew's fingers curl to grip the blankets under himself. "Hah..."

"No name calling, no hurting anyone and no more talking about Jake...." Damien replies.

Kells pulled back and sucked on the skin of his hip. He was precise and gentle, making sure not to leave any evidence. The good doctor pushed Matthew's legs up as far as the straps would allow and buried his tongue in the young man's heat.

"What counts as name calling and hurting anyone?" He raised a brow. "Does that mean I can't call you Kai?"

Matthew wakes and gasps. "S-S-stop it!"

"Don't call people rude names, and don't intentionally hurt someone."

Jaxon glanced up. "Hm. That wears off fast on you." He buried his tongue back into him.

Rooke pouted. "But what if they're mean like Dr. Kells?"

Matthew trashes and cries out. "S-STOP! Someone help!" He screams.

"Just ignore him... You can do it."

"Lovely, they can't hear you." Jaxon murmured, the tone slightly irritated. "Why do they always scream for help?" He sighed and pulled away. "Alright, fine. But next time I will not be so lenient." He stood and puleld out another needle. "Nightynight..."

Rooke scoffed. "Have you met the man in the box? He's not all "Oh hi. I'm a good doctor, please love me. He's awful."

Matthew inhales crudely through his nose and spits in Jaxon's face. "You vile pig! How dare you touch me!" He pulls his arm free and grabs Jaxon's arm to stop him from sticking him with the needle.

"I had a feeling he wasn't wholesome... perhaps I can get some sort of system for you to contact me silently when you need me to come help you..." Damien murmurs.

Jaxon raised a brow when he was grabbed and took the needle in his other hand. "You seemed to enjoy it enough.. now relax."

Rooke sighed and stared at the floor. "Probably not... he know's I'm onto him and don't approve."

Matthew pulls a leg free and kicks Jaxon away. "Get away from me!"

"Perhaps I can convince the head of the asylum to allow me to treat you in my home..." He murmurs in thought.

Jaxon and his hand back down, strapping his hand back into the bed. "No you little brat now stay still."

Rooke gave an asperated chuckle. " He is the head of the asylum."

Matthew kicks at him. "NO!"

"I'll go ask..." He gently pulls away. "Here." He hands him his glasses. "Now you know I'll come back." He smiles and walks out, locking the door. He blindly finds his way to Matthew's room and goes in. "Wh-What's going on here?! He runs over and pulls Jaxon away from the half nude Matthew.

Dr. Kells was quiet done with the thrashing. His stuck the needle in Matthew's thigh, another in his hip. "Sleep." He stood up before Damien could pull him. "He is having an episode. Don't worry, I can handle this."

"H-He's trying... to... r-rape me..." Matthew groans before he passes out.

Damien's eyes narrow. "Dr. Kells, I can't say I approve..." His mind clicked. "I'll make you a deal. If you allow me to take Kalamazoo to my home for a closer study, I won't call for a police investigation of this..." He smirks softly. He hated to do that to poor Matthew, but it was his only option.

Jaxon looked at Matthew, then at Damien. He knew lying would only prove futile. He stepped forward, walking the other doctor backwards until he was pinned. He rested his arm over Damien's head. ".... Deal. You have two weeks to study him. But remember, he is my patient and there are rules you need to follow.

Damien did not bat an eye. "Dr. Kells, you forget that I came here to take over care of Kal, he was my reason for coming here, I am his doctor now... you do not frighten me, I've dealt with scarier patients. Now if you would please get me the paper work so that I can collect Kal and take him home with me, I would appreciate it." With Damien's glasses gone his eyes were reminiscent of looking into a doll's eyes. Beautiful and seemingly inhuman in color, but now they were perfectly still and staring at Jaxon with their uncanny valley likeness.

"No. The terms of your application was that you'd study him for a month, then we'd both determine whether or not he was ready to transition to be under your care. I do not believe he is mentally fit to leave this hospital yet."

"Dr. Kells, can we please just get the paper work filled for me to take Kal home with me for a week or so? It's near dinner time and I would like to do a study on his diet..." Damien sighs in impatience.

He sighed, irritated and let him go. "Yes, yes. He doesn't eat much. He'll ask for eggs, bacon, toast and orange juice for breaskfast but he never eats it. He will consume watermelon and feta cheese in high quantities, but other than that only wants human flesh."

Damien leads him out. "If I can get a starving cannibal to eat vegetables, I think we will be fine." He replies softly. "I really hate to have to black mail you like this, but I think one on one time with Kal will do him some good."

"You're blackmailing me with things you couldn't possibly prove. Why not try positive reinforcement instead of negative and offer me something I want?" He rolled his eyes. "You sound like you're falling for him."

Damien smirks. "I'm sure that young man has your DNA under his clothing, it wouldn't be hard. Besides, I have nothing to offer you." He looks up at the comment. "No, I will never fall in love again. Besides, why would I risk my job?"

"You underestimate how careful I am." Kells smirked back. "You could offer me pleasure." He shrugged. "You tell me, Dr. Andrews. Why would you risk your job?"

"No, you underestimate a forensics team. Our very own little ginger doctor could go in there right now and find you all over him." He scoffs lightly. "Pleasure? No. I don't lay with someone I don't love. Now, the paper work, please."

"Who? Alison? Yes, she could.. but she'd destroy it." Jaxon said simply, shrugging. "I didn't say you... and you don't lay with those you don't love? Funny. I'm the exact opposite." He began filling out the paperwork. "Two weeks are granted. And I warn you, Damien. Rooke is clever and manipulitive. He's also very unpredictable. Don't think you're safe, don't think you've gained his trust. Keep your guard up... you're not the only doctor to study him."

Damien ignores the comments and takes the slip. "Thank you." He turns and returns to Kal/Rooke's room. He smiles. "Everything is set. As soon as you are ready you're coming home with me." He holds a hand out for his glasses back.

Rooke holds out the glasses. "He agreed that easily?"

"Well..." Damien takes the glasses and slips them on, pushing them up with his finger. "Yes and no, it's not important... You know you'll have to be cuffed until we get into my house, right?" He frowns. "It's not my rule, of course, it's an asylum rule."

Rooke pouted but nodded. "Yeah yeah... and the mask. Jaxon says that its the rule too.."

"Unfortunately. So, what would you like to take with you?" He tried to remain up beat.

Rooke looked around the empty room and chuckled. He looked down at the chest in the corner, picking it up. "This."

"Alright, come here and turn around, you know the drill." He frowns, pulling cuffs from his pocket.

Rooke turned around, exposing his wrists. When Damien went to cuff him, he quickly leaned back and kissed him.

Damien freezes a moment, but quickly regains his composure. "Please don't do that." Oh how he ached to press his lips back to those soft lips, but he couldn't, the very idea of loving again hurt his chest. He looked down and cuffed Rooke, not too tight, not too loose. He looked over and seen Jake's mask, his heart tightened in his chest. "Please leave that here."

Rooke pouted a bit, then looked at the mask. "But... its the only way I sleep..." he walked over and sighed. "Fine..."

Damien picks up Rooke's mask and gently affixes it to his face. "All ready to go?" He picks the chest up with one arm, looping his other arm in Rooke's.

Rooke followed in silence. He glanced at the doors and saw Sophia leaning against hers. "Ride 'em slow, Rookie..." she grinned. He rolled his eyes. "Go fuck a horse Sophie." "Been there, done that, mon cheri." She retorted.

Damien shakes his head and leads Rooke to his car. He helps him into the passenger seat and puts the seat belt on him. He deposits himself into the driver's seat and starts the car. He throws his belt on and rolls the window down a bit, lighting a cigarette. He pulls away from the asylum and heads home. It didn't take long to get to the modest, two story home. Damien parked in the garage and put his smoke out on the ground as he got out and helped Rooke from the car. "Here we are." He lead the other inside and to the living room before taking the cuffs and mask off. The fireplace held burnt out ashes but the mantle held a beautiful white and blue urn with a picture of Damien happily hugging a freckled brunette from behind. Both their noses red from the snowy scene around them, but they looked peaceful and happy. The Damien now stripping off his lab coat had dark rings under his eyes from lack of sleep, and light frown lines on his face. "Why don't you get comfortable while I start dinner?" He smiles very lightly before wandering into the white tiled kitchen.

Ruby sat in her room, having finished her meal she began to work on the sculpture of a butterfly, a representation of her desire for freedom.

Rooke sat in silence, staring out the window as they drove. He looked upon the house... he didn't remember ever having a home. He rubbed his wrists as he was released and looked upon the urn and photo. They looked happy... and Jake never meant to leave Damien. He would have happy stayed forever has he not passed away. "Can I help?" Kal asked, looking back and smiling bright.

Jaxon stepped back into the room, walking over and picking up the dishes. He glanced at the butterfly and held out his hand, the scuplture she made him fired and in a display case.

Damien glanced back. "Oh, Kal, do you know what's going on? And you don't have to, you're my guest, but if you wish to I don't mind." He gives him a gentle smile and disappears into the kitchen.

Ruby jumps and looks up. She nods lightly at Jaxon. She shows him the butterfly, it wasn't painted yet, of course.

Kal followed quickly. "Kinda... I know we're at your house... care to fill me in?" He smiled sweetly.

"Would you like it fired too? Its lovely..." Jaxon said softly examining it.

"I got Dr. Kells to allow me to bring you and your other to my house for better one on one time." Damien pauses. "What would you like for dinner?"

Ruby shakes her head, sighing through her nose and simply knocking the sculpture from his hand by flicking it with her fingers. It was just a reminder of her caged state.

"Dr. Kells is so nice like that. He is always so good to me." He smiled bright and looked around. "Fish sticks and custard!"

Jaxon caught it before it hit the ground. "That wasn't very nice..."

Damien chuckles. "Alright. Five sticks sound good?" He pulls out a whole frozen fish from the freezer.

Ruby frowns sadly and shrugs.

"Oka-" Kal froze for a moment, then said - with a very dazed look "Rooke's not coming out." He blinked back into reality. "Wait, how are you going to make them?"

Jaxon paused and gently brought her to her feet. "Come."

Damien tilts his head. "Rooke's not coming out? What do you mean?" He lays the fish on the counter and unwraps it, grabbing a knife.

Ruby stands up, looking at him warily.

"Rooke's what? What does what mean?" Kalamazoo seemed to have no idea what he just said.

Jaxon leads her silently down the hall and into a room. He flicked on the light, exposing a fully stocked, very neat and rarely used art therapy room.

Damien shakes his head. "Nothing, nevermind." He smiles softly and begins to remove scales from the fish. He works silently, turning the fish into thick, short strips, and battering them. "There's that..." He puts them into the pan to fry slowly as he gets out the ingredients for custard.

Ruby looked around but didn't move, looking to Jaxon.

Kal tilted his head. "I've never seen anyone make them with a fish fish..."

"Well go on.."

Damien chuckles softly. "I try to make everything fresh." He begins to mix ingredients, humming softly. he leaves the custard to pull out vegetables for a salad. He draws a new knife and starts to cut them. He winces as the knife nicks his finger. "Ouch.. geez...." He scolds himself, grabbing a paper towel.

Ruby slowly wanders into the room, caressing fingers over a blank canvas.

Kal's eyes glazed over for a moment and he took Damien's hand, placing his finger in his mouth and sucking gently.

"The cabinet to your left has paints and brushes.."

Damien blushes softly and slowly pulls his finger back. "There's no need to do that, I have bandaids in the cabinet." He reaches up and pulls down a first aid kit, popping it open to find a sealed envelope. He blinks. "What-?" He picks it up and opens it, he pulls out a letter and reads it, as his eyes scan the page they tear up. He places his free hand over his mouth and closes his eyes, folding the letter and putting it away. It read;
Dear Damien,
I wonder how long it will take you to find this, probably not long as clumsy as you are in the kitchen. I'm writing this to you as you nap on the living room couch after the wonderful birthday dinner you made for me. Thank you again for it. I've had about an hour to think about us, about our life together and I can say that I can smile now. I know I once told you that I hate people and I eat what I hate, but that's why I stopped taking your offerings of flesh. I don't hate you anymore, in fact I've fallen deeply in love with you. I can't wait to grow old with you and die at your side. Thank you for everything.
Love,
Jake.

Damien turned off the stove. "Excuse me a moment, won't you?" He murmurs and leaves the room, going upstairs to his bedroom.

Ruby opens the cabinet and stares at it all.

Kalamazoo frowned and watched him. "... Damien?" He watched him walk up the stairs and followed quickly. "Damien, whats-" "don't call him that." He snapped to himself, then stopped, confused.

Jaxon sat at one of the tables and took a piece of paper and pencil.

Damien sat on his bed. He looked up, his eyes red. "I'm fine Kal, my apologies..." He gets up and wraps an arm around the other gently and squeezes him lightly. "Let's get dinner done, ok?" He smiles fakely then heads back down. I must stay strong, I can't break down now... He scolds himself.

Ruby pulls out some brushes, a pallet and paints.

Kal stared up innocently and frowned. "Don't lie to me... please?" He held the doctor's hand, having been lied to by others and himself his whole life.

Jaxon glances up to watch her occasionally.

Damien stops and looks at Kal. He sighs softly. "Jake left me a letter, and reading it stirred up some pain. I'll be ok, but only just. It really hasn't been that long since he passed so the wound is still fresh." He places a hand on Kal's head. "That's the truth." He leads him back downstairs and turns the stove back on, continuing to cut and cook.

She began to paint a cardinal on a winter tree.

Kalamazoo listened and nodded. "I'm sorry... Rooke says he's sorry too.." he mumbled, eyes glazing over again.

Jaxon paused on his doodle of a fairy to watch.

Damien glances to him. "Kal?" He questions, not sure if there is another personality or if Kal is now aware of Rooke or what?

The wings of the bird are spread, his head high to peer at the fleathery winter clouds. Soft snow falls around the crimson bird.

Rooke blinked back into reality and looked over. "Yup? Hey, we should dip them in chocolate syrup too!"

Jaxon folded his hands together. "Is there symbolizism with int his?"

Damien chuckles. "I wish you two would warn me when you do that." He pulls out some milk, sugar and baker's chocolate.

Ruby nods a bit.

Kalamazoo looked up, confused. "When who does what? Put's chocolate syrup on their fishsticks?

(You forgot Jaxon)

Damien shakes his head and chuckles. "No, nevermind." He begins to shave the chocolate into a pan.

The younger male smiled lightly and finished breading them. "So have to talked to Rooke again yet?"

Jaxon walks over and sits about three feet from her. "Care to tell me or write it down?"

"I thought he was here a moment ago." He remarks, slowly pouring sugar into the melting chocolate.

Ruby shrugs. She thought it was obvious.

"He was?" Kal stopped and looked over.

"I know why, but I'd like to hear, or see it in your words." He held out a pen and paper.

"I thought." He pours a bit of milk into the sugar and chocolate. "Would you like to try this?" He pulls up the rubber spatula and blows on it to cool it.

Ruby takes them and scribbles a few words;
I'm surrounded by the cold stone walls of this asylum; I look the sky and wish for freedom.

Kalamazoo perked up and hopped over, licking the spatula. "MM! That's better than Hershey's!"

"You realize why I cannot grant you that yet, right?" He said, reading over the piece of paper.

Damien smiles softly. "I wouldn't go that far, but I do my best." He replies, turning the chocolate off and finishing the food. He makes a plate for each of them of fish sticks, salad, custard and each a cup of the chocolate.

Ruby nods sadly.

"You know, you're the first person to eat this with me." He smiled warmly.

"If you're willing to work with me, I will help you get out..."

"I'll try nearly any food once." Damien dips his stick in the chocolate and nips it. "Not bad." He smiles warmly.

Ruby writes; I only try to kill myself to escape this place. I'm not crazy, I don't want to hurt anyone, I just don't want to speak to anyone...

The boy looked tremendesly excited. "Really??" He ate his happily. "Its one of my favorite things ever."

"In life, you're going to need to talk to people. And since we haven't been able to prove you didn't murder your family, that makes it even more difficult."

Each time Kal ate one Damien put one of his on Kal's plate to make it odd, then when it was even he'd take one back, back and forth so they each till got five, but Kal never had an even amount on his plate. He ate each bite of his own with the chocolate.

That's not true, a lot of people are mute, and I didn't kill them, a thief did... I can draw him if you need me to.

Kal watched him put them back and forth and tilted his head. "What are you doing?"

He nodded. "Please do."

"Keeping an odd amount on your plate." He smiles softly.

Ruby grabbed a blank sheet of art paper and a pencil, sitting down she began to draw.

"Why?" He asked. Kal didn't know about Rooke's OCD, or that it triggered his violence.

Jaxon watched, his eyes scanning the paper quietly.

"Well." He wipes his mouth with a napkin. "The person who comes through when you black out doesn't like even numbers, so in case he came through and wanted to try my cooking, I made it so he'd be comfortable too." Damien replies kindly.

Ruby drew a younger man in a black hoodie with a thin face and dark eyes. she didn't know it, but the male actually lived down the street from her.

"Oh... why doesn't he like them?" He munched on his last piece.

Jaxon looked at the picture nodding to himself. He saw the man when he was going over the evidence at the house. "I see... I'll be back."

"I'm not sure exactly." Damien replies, eating a bit of his salad.

Ruby blinks and just goes back to her painting of the cardinal.

Kal pouted and looked down at his plate. He took a tomato from his salad and cut it into four pieces. He visibly twitched and quickly cut one to make five. Kal snapped back. "Woah..."

Jaxon mumbled something to a nurse, then walked out, getting into his car and driving to Ruby's old house. He saw the theif outside, mowing his lawn. "Excuse me, sir.."

Damien puts his fork down and places a hand on Kal's. "Are you ok?" He asked with genuine worry.

Ruby just continued to paint quietly.

The man stopped the mower and wiped his forehead with the hankercheif from his pocket. "What can I do for you?" He asks softly.

"I'm fine, but it's like I had no control over my body... I just... Stabbed it in half." He mumbled.

Jaxon smiled warmly. "My name is Dr. Anthony Marcus. I was here a few months ago on a case about your neighbors the Khristoph's. We have new information on the daughter's case and I was wondering if you would come down to the office for a few minutes to review some things with us."

"Perhaps you should try it again?" He suggests, not having seen what happened last time, he was curious.

"S-Sure.." The man wiped his face again. "Let me pt my mower away..."

Kal nodded and went to grab another tomato, but his hands acted on their own accord. He grabbed the fork and slammed it into his left hand, then screamed and fell out of a chair.

"Thank you. I appreciate your time." Jaxon smiled politely.

Damien gasps and jumps out his chair, running over to him and helping him up. "Oh goodness." He lifts him to his feet, grabbing the first aid kit be tends to his hand.

The man pushes his mower around the side of the house then makes a break for it through the neighbor's back yards.

Kal cried softly, breathing through his teeth to try and calm himself. "Wh-what just happened..."

"I love it when they try to run.." Jaxon got back in his car and sped around the neighborhood, cutting him off on the other side. He got out of the car and broke off after him, yanking him to the floor and injecting something into his spine. "You're under arrest. Anything you say can and will be held against you in the court of law." Kells leaned down to his ear just before the man was about to pass out. "I've always wanted to say that...." He put him in handcuffs and foot cuffs, loading him into the car and driving back to the hospital.

"Rooke forced you to stab yourself in the hand to stop you from making the slices even." Damien holds him close as he treats his hand. "Rooke, you need to get out here now."

The man screamed and thrashed before passing out.

Kal looked up at him and whimpered lightly. "I don't think he wants to.."

A few people gathered around as Jaxon tied him to the chair. He pulled out a badge. "No worries folks. I'm special agent Marcus. This man is a dangerous criminal and we're bringing him into custody. He walked over to a teenage boy who had his phone out and took it. "This is illegal and I suggest you don't do it." He took out a small needle looking device and placed it in the headphone jack. The phone fritzed and turned off. "There. You might want to ask your friends for their contacts." And with that, he got back in the car and drove to the hospital. Once there, Jaxon picked him up and brought him in through the back and down to the basement. He placed the man on a stretcher and typing something into the tiles of the wall. A hidden door opened, leading him into a hospital room. He strapped the man down and began hooking him up to machine after machine. He walked back up the stairs and into the art room. "Ruby. Come with me."

Damien looks into Kal's eyes. "Rooke, come out here." He says a bit firmly.

Ruby looked up, a bit of blue paint on her cheek. She dunked the brush in her hand into the water and followed Jaxon.

Kal's eyes didn't change. He just stared and waited, expecting something to happen.

Jaxon led her down the stairs and into the room. He shut the door. "Is this the man?"

"Kal, I may need to coax him out, are you ok with that?" He wrapped his hand.

Ruby looked at him, her eyes widening, her body trembled, she turned into Jaxon and hid her face in his chest, clinging to his coat.

Kalamazoo nodded a little. "O-okay... don't hurt me though, okay?"

Jaxon wrapped a comforting arm around her. "I'll take that as a yes... I'm going to make sure he never hurts anyone again... care to watch?"

"I would never, I promise." He smiles warmly. He pulls him to his feet and pulls his form close to his. Their hips met his hand cups the back of his head. He trembled slightly. He didn't want to do this.

Kalamazoo blinked and blushed deeply, confused. He looked up at Damien with a child like expression, swallowing back nervousness.

Damien walks them back to pin him to the counter. his thigh pressed between Kal's legs gently.

Ruby shakes her head, her eyes closed tight.

"Dr. Andrews? What are you doing...?" He asked, cheeks burning red.

"Alright... go back upstairs to your painting then. "I'll be with you shortly."

He draws his tie from his neck and ties it around Kal's eyes. "Relax..." He whispers soothingly. He grabs both of Kal's hands with one and raised them above his head. His free hand caressing his hip.

Ruby shakes her head, her feet didn't want to move.

Kalamazoo swallowed again, trembling against him. "B-but.."

Jaxon gently led her out. "There you go..."

Damien leans in, whispering softly into his ear. "Relax, trust me...your pants will not move from where they are..." He slides his hand up his side.

Ruby continues to cling to him, her face in his chest, his shirt soon warm and damp.

Kal blushed and whimpered lightly. "Okay.."

Jaxon lifted her chin. "Ruby, listen. Go upstairs and to the artroom. I will go get you when I'm done.."

He slides his hand around his form and pulls him close, firmly against the other.

Ruby looks at him with terrified, tear filled eyes.

Kalamazoo trembled beneath him, gripping the counter top.

"I'm making sure he never hurts anyone again.. trust me."

Damien slides his hands away, he gently removes the tie and just hugs him. "He's not coming out... how's your hand?" He smiles weakly. He looks up as his phone rings. "One second. He answers it. "Hello? Oh! Allison! Uh? Yeah... no, I'm not... No! Of course not!" He blushes. "A p-patient... um Kalamazoo..." He listens a moment. "You did what?" He stared wide eyed at nothing. "Of course! I'd love to meet him!" He smiles. "See you soon!" He hangs up and smiles at Kal. "My co-worker is stopping by to show us something amazing." He smiles, going back to Kal to hold his hurt hand. "Do you need anything? Something to drink? More to eat?"

Ruby hugged herself and walked away, head down, sniffling.

Kal continued to shake even after he let go. The boy stared at the doctor, shaking his head. "I'm okay..."

Jaxon watched her leave, the looked back at the man. "Wakeywakey..."

Damien frowns and pulls him gently close, hugging him gently. "Don't worry, I'll never do that again." He caresses his hair.

Ruby just goes to her room and hugs a pillow, crying silently into it.

The man, Joe, woke up and groaned. "Wha-, what?"

"No, its okay.. I just... I've never experienced that..." he mumbled, hands going over his lap.

"Morning sunshine..." he mumbled, grabbing a syring and filling it with some gold liquid.

Damien frowns softly. "Th-that will go away." He goes and sits down.

"What are you doing?! What is that?! HELP!" He thrashes.

He nodded quickly and stayed against the counter. A few minutes later, Rooke walked over and straddled his waist. "Not nice..."

"These walls are sound proof and I am the only one who knows their way out." He walked over and injected his arm with the liquid. "So why did you kill them?"

Damien narrows his eyes at Rooke. "Neither are you, how could you make Kal stab himself? I thought we had an understanding." He looks disappointed.

"I didn't kill anyone!" He screams out.

"We did. And you purposely had him try to make me angry. Uneven numbers make me unhappy." He nuzzled his nose.

"Then why did you run?" He went over to the a table, looking over surgical tools.

"I wasn't trying to make you angry. I was trying to figure out what's going on.... I didn't see what had happened... Doesn't the fact that I kept an odd number of sticks on the plate count for anything?"

"Because I-I have debt collectors!" He lies.

"A little. But it was safe to assume that if I cut something into an odd amount of numbers, that I didn't want it in even numbers... He told you he had no control." Rooke nipped his neck. "Now fix it."

"Debt collectors? That's cute." Kells picked up a scalple and stepped over, cutting open his shirt. "Ruby was pretty terrified when she saw you."

"How do you want me to fix it?" He murmurs. "I do wish you would have tried my cooking..." He pouts a bit.

Joe pants in fear. "Y-You can't do this to me! That girl is a f-freak!" He thrashes.

"I did. If Kalamazoo ate it, I ate it too..." He took Damien's hand and placed it in his lap.

"How is she a freak? Is that why you murdered her family?" He asked, looking over the blade, then glancing down at him over his nose.

"But you didn't taste it..." He pulls his hand from Rooke's lap. "Even if I had a desire to sleep with a man I don't love I have company on the way..."

"You know damned well how that bitch is a freak! She does shit with her mind! I didn't kill anyone! Sh-she did!" He screams in panic.
