Lilith

Lilith is most commonly seen in judaism, though prior to that she's been sighted in many ancient middle eastern cultures. Naturally she has aquired many names: Lilith, lilitu and lamea to are only a few, though there seems to be hundreds.
In Jewish texts, she is the first wife of adam. They were both created at the same time, from earth, so lilith sees no reason why she should be subordinant to him. God made a figure from the earth, with two faces, one male one female, conjoined at the back. This is how they are both said to have been created. However in the bible, she only gets a mention as the snake who convinced eve to consume the apple. Lilith seems to have loved and hated adam. It is said that she refused to lie beneath him during intercourse, or be anything but equal to him. Eventually they got fed up with each other, she spoke the sacred name of god and ascended to heaven. There she met the three cherubims, three angels, who she complained to. I think they wanted to send her to hell, or punish her in some way(sorry it's been a while), but they struck a deal. They condemned her her walk the earth by night, and to be the taker of childrens souls, the one who causes miscarriges, sillbirths and infant mortality in general. That was now her job. There are many amulets women would where, evoking the three angels to protect their children. Apparently she always missed adams beauty. And he longed for hers also. Eve was the wholsome perfect wife, lilith was the dark haired demoness. She would, when eve was distracted, go to him. She seemed to have powers above and beyond theirs. She seemed to go to heaven and lecture god whenever she was annoyed, and walk in and out of the garden without much trouble.
Lilith became more than a child snatcher, she became the representation of female sin. Of all female trickery that men should be wary of. She was a succbus, she caused orgasms, she tempted men into betraying themselves or their wives. She played mind games. She lived in a cave by the dead sea, and bore many evil daughters to demons. And lilith's daughters would roam at night also. In demoness form, after the garden, she is shown with the wings and clawed feet of and owl. She was the keeper of everything the creeped, of all creatures of the night. She would pose as a mortal woman, lure men to her, get them drunk enough then take pleasure from them. Apparently, while still managing all this, she hides in mirrors, and takes hold of women who spend too much time infront of them. Later on in life she maried samael, the devil. Strangely enough, at this time she became the young lilith, the earlier child snatching one is reffered to as the old lilith.

Sammael

According to tradition, Sammael was said to have been the highest throne-angel. He was said to have twelve wings, which was twice the number of wings of the Seraphim and other living creatures. According to the Debarim Rabbi (xi), Sammael is the wicked angel who is the chief of all the Satans.

It was Sammael who, under the guise of the serpent, tempted Eve in paradise. According to chapters 13 and 14 of the Pirke de Rabbi Eliezer, Satan’s fall was mainly out of jealousy and envy on the part of the angels. The angels were in opposition to the creation of man, and were jealous that man was allowed to give names to all creatures. They saw this act as proving that man was superior to themselves. Sammael, who was the first of all the angel princes, led a group of angels to earth in attempt to conspire against Adam, so that by his fall, they might again gain supremacy over man. In the Bereshith Rabba (xix), the serpent was described as possessing hands and feet and it resembled a camel. It also could speak. Sammael took possession of the serpent and thus deceived Eve. Because of this act, the angels were cast out of heaven and the feet of the serpent were cut off.
Sammael plays the role of the accuser, seducer, and destroyer Another example of the deeds of Sammael is his role in the trial of Abraham. Sammael stood before God to accuse Abraham of selfish piety. God decided to test Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his son, Isaac. Sammael then tried to persuade Abraham not to sacrifice Isaac, and also to persuade Isaac to rebel against this trial. When he saw that Abraham would not disobey God, be revenged himself by telling Sarah that Isaac had been slain. She then died of her grief and terror.

Asmodeus
An evil spirit. He appears in the Apocryphal book of Tobit. Although he is described in later literature as the king of demons, in Jewish folklore he is mischievous and lively, a figure of fun and often a friend to people. He is said to disturb marital happiness, and it was Asmodeus who strangled the seven husbands of Sara during her wedding-night. Not much eles is knowen about who he was nor what he was, only that he was cast out of heaven...

Ahriman
Ahriman, the principle of evil in Persian mythology, was personified as Angra Mainya, "the destructive spirit," who introduced death into the world. He led the forces of evil against the host of Spenta Mainya, "the holy spirit," who assisted Ahura Mazdah, "the wise lord" and final victor in the cosmic war. "In the beginning," said Zoroaster (see Zoroastrianism), "the twin spirits were known as the one good and the other evil, in thought, word, and deed. Between them the wise chose wisely, not so the fools. And when these spirits met they established life and death so that in the end the followers of deceit should meet with the worst existence, but the followers of truth with the wise lord."

Ahura Mazdah told Zoroaster that Angra Mainya had upset his plans for making Persia into a terrestrial paradise. All of the creatures off "the wise lord" were created with free will: both spiritual beings and humans. Angra Mainya, the twin brother of "the holy spirit," simply took pleasure in "choosing the worst things." In order to thwart Ahura Mazdah he introduced frost in the winter, heat in the summer, all manners of disasters, and other ills that humankind has to endure. He likewise created the dragon Azhi Dahaka, who brought ruin to earth. When Ahura Mazdah created the stars in the heaven, he "sprang into the sky like a snake" and in opposition to those illuminaries formed the planets, whose baleful influence then fell across the world. Throughout the creation there was a cleavage and antagonism so deep that under the Sassanians (226-632) there arose a myth to soften the dualism. The twin spirits became the offspring of a pre-existing primeval being, Zurvan Akarana, "infinite time." Because Zurvan had vowed that the firstborn should rule as king and Ahriman "ripped the womb open" in order to claim the title, the evil one was given the kingdom of the world for a limited period. "After nine thousand years," Zurvan insisted, "Ohrmazd will reign and will do everything according to his good pleasure."
