Bandersnatch

(Unique)
The Frumious One

*Threat Level: Very High
Habitat: Lith, Wonderland Dungeon
Neutrality: Neutral
Size: Big Dog Size (5' at shoulders)
Passive or Aggressive: Aggressive, the Bandersnatch seeks out victims frumiously.

Common Attacks
Garble, the Bandersnatch is incredible sloppy with its powerful bite.
Charge! As ridiculous as an attack as it may seem, the Bandersnatch loves to trample and crush its foes even though its weight is light for such a large animal.

Description
The Bandersnatch is an otherworldly creature that resembles a long legged, pug-nosed hound of enormous proportion. It's very powerful, even though it appears quite ridiculous. Covered with hair like a shag carpet, it hunts through the lowlands of Andoria killing animals, both innocent or corrupted, to fill its insatiable hunger. The Bandersnatch is not evolutionarily related to any dog known, but it is so hound-like that it is still considered a dog creature. There is no known record of where this beast originated, but apparently only one exists with current Samhain records.

2004-06-18 [Adaman]: Message [Adaman] if you would like to post a picture here of the Bandersnatch.

2004-06-18 [Benu]: What the heck do you mean by Frumious ??

2004-06-18 [Adaman]: Its a word that describes the Bandersnatch in the Jabberwocky poem by Lewis Carroll.

2004-06-18 [Benu]: ok, it just came up as wrong in word so...

2004-06-18 [Adaman]: Perfectly alright with me, I tried looking up what it meant as well and nothing came up. And I really didn't want to search through the numerous Carroll Dictionaries online *shudder*

2004-07-12 [Benu]: If it is unique, why do you have 'their' in the charge attack area?

2004-07-12 [Adaman]: thanks for bringing that to my attention

2004-07-12 [Benu]: No problem... I really should have changed it instead, sorry.
