Description
The Sphynx is actually an ancient female pharoah. Her rule was seen as a disgrace to her people as she abandoned all gods for Helios. She ruled unquestionably well, and it was not until a dark Ibizan came before her and told her of her fate to live through eternity as a monster. Outraged with this idea, she banned all worship of deities and demanded that they change her fate. Her arrogance towards Helios was ultimately her undoing as the sun god did not look lightly upon her betrayal of him. So he changed her into the monster she so hated from the vision, and was banished into the box called Pandora. When she was released during the reign of Apochryphai to cause chaos in her homeland, she gladly accepted and slaughtered her ungrateful servants one by one. He new reign was soon halted once again as Helios cursed her with riddles. She now could not kill a soul unless they came to her and attempted to answer her riddles. If they succeed, a little of her power diminishes... If they fail, she is granted all of her powers onto that foolish mortal who dare question Helios' law.
