      The Origin of nymphs is as the origin of all that is natural. These creatures are the creation of Terra, the earth mother. From her they became a race of children in resemblence to the ancient race before them. Each Nymph is expected to one day become a form of flora, hence why they are referred to as the moniker, Nymph as if it were a stage of development for archane flora. Nymphs are normally shy to contact with all races outside their domains, however they are akin to some creatures like the elves who have embraced the environments that they live among.

      Nymphs have differing traits all, but they all lack equally in the affects of strength. With their rather dainty figures, they rely on other skills to survive than muscle mass. Nymphs can be female only.

Dryads
Dryad Nymph Name Database
      The Dryads of the Adon woodlands are huntresses of incredible skill and ranged fighting. Dryads appear like woodland fae with nearly perfect tan complexions and long green hair. Their appearance is sometimes compared to the trees they seek to protect with their bows. Dryads are also avid Moon Goddess worshippers, and hold monthly gatherings of their close knit hunting parties in open regions of the forest so that they can see the moon. These gatherings only take place under full moons for reasons that the Dryads have attributed to the Moon Goddess, Luna, at her maximum brightness and control. While they normally avoid males of other races, especially in matters of romantic encounters, they to hold somewhat of a collective attraction to Wood Elf males since they are rather similar in appearance to Dryads.

      The Limoniads of the Great Adon Grasslands are runners of incredible speed and stamina. Limoniads appear like Savannah Elves but with shorter ears and thin, lengthy bodies. Limoniads are best known for their long distance running and even more incredible sprints. Some who have documented the Limonaids suspect them of reaching speeds of well over thirty miles per hour, and impressive stride for any homonid creature. Limoniads are also worshippers of the Wind Deity, Sharacko. They bless themselves with Sharacko's speed and agility before great battles that these tall women undergo alongside their allies. These blessings have only been given to those of superior ranking among their kind, and thus they are deified among their own for such powers. While they normally avoid males of other races, especially in matters of romantic encounters, they to hold somewhat of a collective attraction to Savannah Elf males since they are rather similar in appearance to Limoniads. The tall women often joke flirtaciously with them as even the tallest Savannah Elf male is shorter by comparison.

      The Naiads of Kalonvale are water disciples of incredible magical prowess and fluid movement. Naiads appear quite agile and move like a river flowing from step to step. Most attribute them to watery fae, although their intentions to be described as such are nonexistant. Naiads are the nymphs of the freshwater, and worship the water deity, Leviathan. They rarely hold any other interests than the safeguarding of the rainforest and the plentiful source of freshwater within. While they normally avoid males of other races, especially in matters of romantic encounters, they to hold somewhat of a collective attraction to Aztec Human males but as the two have nothing similar in appearance, it is difficult to understand why because they live among only light elves in Kalonvale.

      The Napaea of the Ashfall Mountain Range are darkling nymphs that span the crevaces and darkest regions of the subterrainean world. Napaea hide from the light of the surface and are twisted by the darkness and appear like charcoaled fae with long black hair. Their appearance is sometimes frightening because of their shadowy appearance. Napaea are worshippers of fallen gods, particularly the ancient moon god, Aku. It is because of this demonic worship that they are often attributed to their darkling nature, that they once were pleasent nymphs of good nature. They sometimes gather under new moons for reasons that the Napaea have attributed to the Moon God, Aku, at his maximum darkness and control. While they normally avoid males of other races, especially in matters of romantic encounters, they to hold somewhat of a collective attraction to Dwarven males of all kinds since they are curious and somewhat entertained by the meager proportions of the smaller race of the subterrainean world.

      The Oceanids are nomadic nymphs of the sea who have become especially adept at swimming long distances and even quick sprints under the waves. These ocean Nymphs often find peace swimming among the larger ocean life such as the cetaceans and other peaceful sea giants. While they normally avoid males of other races, especially in matters of romantic encounters, they to hold somewhat of a collective attraction to Blue Elf males since they are rather similar in appearance to Oceanids. Oceanids are often assembled into the ranks of the Atlantean Navy. So while they have no military of their own to speak of, they do serve as enigmatic support with their aquatic magics and sealife communication powers. Something they often hold in common with the Blue Elves of similar appearance.

      Oreads are burly nymphs with large muscles for their kind. While still slim and feminine, they are superior with their strength and unlike other nymphs they have chosen to live among the Arat Mountain Range with the Barbarian men they have come to admire and hold somewhat of a collective attraction towards. Preferring the combat techniques of short range but not neglecting their ways of earth and stoneworking, the Oreads have become quite impressive physically for a race which is defined in physical weakness. Oreads have chosen to serve within the ranks of the Chaos Legion, along with their Barbarian human allies and other races they have come to admire for their physical prowess. They have become earth movers with their magics and the Chaos Legion hopes that with enough effort put into their numbers that one day they will be able to help them crush the Dwarven foes within their fortresses. Oreads are more inclined to fight physically, but if the need arises they become quite adept and molding the solid rocks of mountains and looseness of the shifting sands.

      In the regions of Infenris Mons, a dire form of nymph grows that near equals the evil within the Napaea. Immoliads are flame bearers of unrivaled talent, leading some to believe that their race is actually the fabled fire sorceresses that once controlled the legions of the barbarians long ago. With their powers, they are quite often deadly foes or invaluable allies though they are hot tempered and trust no race other than their own. These fiery haired women and dark skin make them unmistakable for fire crafters.
