Saurians
The Origin of the saurians stems from the exodus of the dragons from Terra. In their journey, they happened to take with them seeds of life that had taken forms similar to themselves. The saurian races owe their existance to the dragons, for within their cradles on a world they had held holy, Anrin, the Saurians were given an unmolested planet with which to propogate and become more powerful. Under the watchful eyes of the Dragons, the Saurians gained intelligence much as the Centrans had on Terra. With the recall of Bahamut, the Saurians left their world to aid in battle against the most horrific being in the universe, Apochryphai. They stalled the monster for days, insuring time for the king of the dragons to prepare for the ultimate duel. With the fall of Bahamut, the Saurians hid away within the depths of the rainforests which resembled their homeworld
Saurian benefits are various, but all are so well evolved that they all have an increased accuracy with attacks and speed to give the first hit, however they suffer from lighter skeletal structure.

Quetzalcoatlan
s are Saurians with strict lineage back to the first who landed upon the world to answer the Dragon's call to aid against Apochryphai. These Saurians are strictly religious and worship both the stars and their dragon nuturers from when their race was very young. Now, as colonists, they have taken on the name of their leader who co-founded the cities they live in with one of the great Aztec Human chieftans. While their lies split over the many years, the Quetzalcoatlans have remained nearly unchanged in ritual and appearance since their arrival on the planet.
* Typically a grey/green in scales with a flamboyant blue-green assortment of feathered plumage. Quetzalcoatlan military is in league with the Aztec Humans, in part because their knowledge of the rainforest has allowed the technologies of the Saurians to remain relatively untapped by foreign sources. The Quetzalcoatlans in turn aid the Aztecs, a previously primitive society of humans, with technological advancements that keep their power in check with the surrounding nations. Most Quetzalcoatlans are reclusive about their strange ruins, and deem the forbidden to all, even other Saurians. Only their kind, and the newly evolving Sauros race have remained on the sacred ground of their leader's settlement. Existing only to keep the Rainforest safe from intruders, these zealots have fiercely guarded their mysteries for centuries as predators guard newly acquired kills.

Sauros

Sauros are a military force of the Woodlands and Rainforest that have remained unequalled in combat for many years. With advanced technologies far beyond that of the indigenous wildlife and cultures, these hunters have monopolized the protection of the Kalonvale Rainforest and keep their borders safe from many threats. In addition to the qualities of the other Saurians, the Sauros are known for their prehensile tails. While not fully prehensile, they do allow them to grip trees easily and climb exceedingly well in order to scout for a better view. Serving mainly as scouts and rangers, the Sauros have developed a guild of sorts which allows them to train their numbers and create their own weapons and armors. With the aid of the Quetzalcoatlan magic masters and the Aztec ingenuity, the Rainforests seem under safe care of the Kalonvale Nation.

* Sauros are typically known as the more tribal and nature based saurian race.

Razorfanes

Razorfanes are a rather vicious form of Saurians that followed the path of chaos and fire almost immediately after their exodus to Centra. Mostly noted for their allegiance to the Chaos Legion, they seem to have forgotten all of their old ways of powerful technologies in favor of brute force and destruction. Terrifying to behold in combat because of their blinding speeds and powerful magical attacks, Razorfanes have some of the most noteworthy villains in recent history. Many would choose to avoid these murderous slayers of men and elves, though the Chaos Legion holds them as prized warriors that even the giants quake in fear at the sound of their names. Razorfanes are a core fighting force within the Chaos Legion. Many have chosen adept ways of killing from magical to assasin, rarely ever do they seem to choose fair fighting methods adopted by that of their relative Saurians. They have also been known to outrank the Barbarians, the race that holds the highest number in population of the legion. Although the humans fear the might the Razorfanes have gained through their chaotic manifestations and gladly submit to their rule in certain circumstances. However, not even a single Razorfane has dared take seat of Warchief for fear of the greater population of the Barbarian Humans. A perplexing, but interesting twist in power struggle.

- If wounded, a powerful urge for survival kicks in, making the orc very deadly for a brief amount of time.

Lizardmen
Lizardmen Saurian Name Database
Lizardmen are a rare form of Saurian that is really seperated completely from the forms that it once possessed. Now the Lizardfolk are somewhat the "caveman" version of Saurians, having treaded down the path of evolution leading to physical qualities rather than improving mental prowess. While slower of mind than other Saurians, they have gained endurance of the body as a benefit. Like Trolls, their flesh regenerates at incredible rates but unlike Trolls they regenerate only during the warmth of the sun which heats their blood enough to do so. For this reason, most Lizardmen avoid colder climates in order to keep their metabolism high. However, if in hiding they do go into colder climates because their bodies can live without food for much longer durations than that of normal beings known in the world.

* Lizardmen are bulkier than other saurians, thus making their bones stronger and equal to the other races of the world.
* Native to Anrin, but migrated to scattered subterrainean regions across Centra on Terra.
- Excellent regeneration during the daylight as their blood circulates quicker.
- Attack rate is much faster in the heat, but defense rate is much higher in the cold.

Dragonkin are a race that was created from the depths of holy magics with the melding of the first Saurian into a Feather Dragon's egg. Based inside the world tree, Yggdrasil, and cared for by the Life Goddess, Terra, the egg was born into life. That is the way all Dragonkin are born, which makes them rare and very valuable allies to the Alfheim Citadel. Their kind have become incredibly powerful in the ways of purity and healing, and even revered as gods among their Saurian cousins for both their rarity and power. Dragonkin military is best known for their obediance to the Alfheim Citadel and its undieing oath to protect the life tree, Yggdrasil, and the temple of Terra. Born of the earth mother's grace and aided by the light of the angels and feather dragons, the Dragonkin race is reknowned for their holy ways and feared by all evil beings. Although their rarity causes an issue in their defensive ways of the grand holy city, as they are only born one at a time under the care of Terra. Another reason for their undieing protection of the temple and its deity is for their survival.

* Dragonkin are sexless, and thus they can only be born in the nests of the Yggdrasil.
* Created in Yggdrasil, within the walls of the Alfheim Citadel on the Kalonvale island.

Dragonspawn
Dragonspawn Saurian Name Database
Dragonspawn were a response to the creation of the Dragonkin, in that the balance of good and evil must be met to retain peace between the angels and demons. Unlike the Dragonkin, the Dragonspawn are created from the corpse of a Dragon that is melded with the spirit and body of a Razorfane Saurian. With such evil coursing through it, the Dragonspawn have owed no race its allegiance with exception to the Razorfanes from which they are before transformation. These vile specimen travel the world, inflicting doom and spreading terror as well as a bad name for dragons and saurians alike. Dragonspawn have no military of their own, since alone they are terrifying enough so that even armies of mortals rarely are able to kill them without their numbers battered by Dragonspawn military advantages. Sometimes they will honor temporary alligiances to the Chaos Legion under the command of Razorfanes, but rarely accept any more than a single mission with their darkling cousins.
* Commonly violet to black of scale and have leathery bat-like wings instead of feathered plumage.
* Dragonspawn have genders, but rarely breed with one another as they are incredibly territorial.
* Created in dark practices within Dres' Chaotica.
- Cursed with evil powers, which fuel their rampages across the world.
- Able to fly.
- Adept with evil magics, and gain a spell at their spawning.
