Username: [
Pnelma Tirian]
Name: Felix Black
Gender: Male
Species: Vampire
Age: Older than he likes to admit. He looks in his late-40's.
Description: Felix Black has grey-olive skin underneath white powder makeup his wife puts on him to cover up how blotchy his skin is. He has a strong facial structure, but his face is drawn and his lips are thin and pressed white from strain and malnutrition. He wears simple clothes: a white button-up shirt, very loose brown slacks held up by black suspenders and a belt with an odd insignia, brown work boots, a large, old brown workcoat.
Personality: Overwhelming all of his virtues and vices, Felix gives the overpowering impression of a man driven to an inch away from exhaustion. He is most alive after feeding, but also the least happy. He sees vampirism not as a blessed state of being but as a crippling condition. He has long squared with living with it from day to day and now focuses on surviving the curse. He is a gentleman when he isn't drunk, and is either asleep or extremely unpleasant to be around when he is.
History: Felix refuses to say anything definitive about his past--just that when he was alive, he was a sailor aboard a mighty warrior's ship who got lost in hell and came back unable to see the light of the sun again. Then, through a lot of adventures he probably made up, he met and wed his wife, Mrs. Samantha Black, moved to Mourncrow, and has been working there ever since.
Special Traits: Felix has a few abilities that can only be attributed to his seniority as a vampire, but is loathe to use them for that very reason. He can turn into bats, turn invisible for a small amount of time, and woo and entrance humans, especially women. He can also withstand sunlight long enough to see the sunrise or the sunset, and any and all vampiric boons are nullified if he is invited inside an establishment.
Profession: Felix works as a handyman in town--sometime
s working in construction, other times as a mercenary. He takes any jobs he can find with discretion, determined to not be involved with anything underhanded or below the law. Unfortunately, he has not been able to return to a career of sailoring--his vampirism keeps him from working during the day, and it's something that weighs on his mind always.
Inventory: A pocket-watch, two Athenian coins--one sewn into his coinpurse, the other around his neck with a hole bored into the metal for the chain, a broadsword, a small hunting knife, his wedding ring, and an enchanted burlap sack.
Other: His wife is being held hostage by Celeste because of a deal he made with her. He is none to pleased about this, and is forced to quest for eight minotaur horns.
